The purpose of this study was to explore how the college students of the beauty department changed their perspective about jobs, career development, and self-reflection in the process of job shadowing. We selected 8 students who were enrolled in the beauty department of a college located in the capital area and conducted individual in-depth interviews with them. According to the result of the study, First, participants have learned attitude, knowledge, competence, and an important matter necessary to achieve a excellent performance in the beauty job. In particular, they figured out that a core competency for a successful beauty job is to share a social relationship with the clients. Second, they recognized that doing a beauty job is very tough and then set a criteria to make a decision of their future job. Doing a Job shadowing made them being change in the area of job and their job perspective. Finally, they looked themselves back how they are satisfying with developing their career at the beauty department. This study is significantly meaningful in that it contextually showed how the college students are developing their job careers through an indirect job experience from a constructive point of view. Moreover, this study is different from the existing studies focusing on student's direct work experiences such as the existing internship programs, which focused on exploring the student's indirect work experience and the process of their vicarious learning. The result of the current study has a practical implication in terms of providing a basic perspective for career education for students of colleges.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the satisfaction of school career education activities (Career counseling, Career and career experience, Career camp, Entrepreneurship and entreperneurship experience, Field trips, University or major experience, and Creative experience activities) in Jeonju high school and Gunsan high school students (568 students), and then to analyze career decision-making self-efficacy of its goal selection, job information, problem solving, and future plan by high (a), middle (b), and low (c) groups according to satisfaction level. Methods: After the career counseling training, questionnaires were surveyed. Results: Career decision - making self - efficacy was significantly higher in the a group than in the b & c groups by order of a>b>c group in the goal selection, job information, problem-solving and future plan by the educational satisfaction on career counseling, career and career experience, college or major experience, creative experiential activity classes (p<.001). The average satisfaction level of career camp, and entrepreneurship and creative experience class was a> c> b group order. There was not a statistically significant difference between the a, b, and c groups. Average satisfaction of field trip class showed a>c>b group order, and a group was significantly higher than b & c group. Conclusion: The higher satisfaction of career education shows higher self-determination efficacy of goal selection, job information, problem solving and future plan.
The purpose of this survey research was to investigate the satisfaction and the factor of stress of 183 dental hygienic students for the dental clinical training who were at 3 colleges which were located in Incheon-city and Kyunggido. This survey was carried out from 12th of September to 19th of October and analyzed using SPSS WIN 12.0. As a result of analysis, the following conclusion were obtained. 1. 86.3% dental hygienic students for satisfaction for the major, 75.9% for training, and 91.8% for future occupation reflected as more than good. 2. In case of the factor of stress, Ideal and value was found out as $3.54{\pm}1.23$ and personnel relationship as $1.74{\pm}1.20$. 3. In case of satisfaction according to general characteristics, there were more or less significant differences according to motive of department choice (P = 0.003) for satisfaction of the major and motive of department choice (P = 0.036) for satisfaction of future occupation. 4. Correlation among each satisfactions showed as the more they were satisfied with the major, the more they were satisfied with training, moreover, they were also satisfied with future occupation. 5. For factor of stress affecting to satisfaction for training, role and ideal and value were showed as affecting variables.

The purpose of this study is a descriptive research study to confirm the relationship between perception of strength, academic self-efficacy and major satisfaction of nursing college students and to identify factors influencing major satisfaction. The subjects of this study were 172 nursing college students located in G City, and data collection was conducted from November 7 to December 21, 2022. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 28.0 program. As a result of the study, major satisfaction had a significant positive correlation with perception of strength (r=.31, p<.001) and academic self-efficacy (r=.62, p<.001). Factors affecting major satisfaction of nursing college students were academic self-efficacy (𝛽=.53, p<001.) and advice from others as motivation of choosing major (𝛽=-.20, p=.002), which explained 42.6% of variance. The results of this study will be useful used to develop strategies to improve the major satisfaction of nursing college students. In the future, a follow-up study that can expand the subjects and explain the major satisfaction of nursing college students is suggested.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of fast food intake, choice, and satisfaction on age among 311 people living in the metropolitan area. The frequency of fast food intake was high in the 20s and 30s, and those in the 40s and over 50s were low, showing a significant difference according to age. Costs for fast food purchases mainly ranged from 5,000 won to 7,000 won. Major sources of information on choosing fast food were mainly from friends and the internet in 20s, and mass media from over 30s. Thirty-nine percent of subjects responded that their dietary habits changed after fast food intake, and the most changes was to like spicy food, followed by eating-out times increased. The factors affecting the choice of fast food were mainly easy to eat, followed by time was not influenced and taste, and taste showed significant difference according to age. Among the subjects who were worried about fast food, 30s showed mainly increase in body weight and over 50s had health problem, and a significant difference was observed according to age. For the improvements in fast food intake, subjects answered in nutrition, hygiene and price in order. Fast food brands, services, menus were the most satisfied in 30s, and 40s were the most unsatisfied, and there was a significant difference. In conclusion, the frequency of fast food intake was higher in young people, and the choice of fast food and satisfaction appeared to be significantly influenced by age. Therefore, data are required to recognize and practice a balanced diet by activating studies on the fast food intake of middle-aged and elderly people and understanding consumer changes.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of learning space Servicescape on the user satisfaction level and continuance intention and to identify moderating effect of the learning activity. The six Servicescape factors are selected after literature review and in-depth interviews; cleanliness, comfort, convenience, aesthetics, accessibility, and flexibility. The online survey is given to the university students at four-year private universities in Seoul metropolitan area. The result shows that among the learning space Servicescape factors, cleanliness, comfort, convenience, and accessibility have a significant impact on the user's satisfaction and the user's satisfaction response determines the continuance intention to the learning space. It is also found that the factors of cleanliness and comfort have a negative moderating effect on user satisfaction. This study implies that the result provides methods to develop the space arrangement for university libraries that provide the better-support to students' learning experience.
The purpose of this study was to examine the work values of undergraduate-level foodservice major students. In order to assess work values of the participating students, this study adopted 'Maryland Work Values Inventory'. Data from a total of 290 surveys were collected. The participants consisted of 146 commercial foodservice major students and 144 institutional foodservice major students. Among the seven work values, both groups ranked 'job advancement' as the most important work value. Commercial foodservice major students rated 'altruism' as the least important work value, whereas it was 'stimulation' for institutional foodservice major students. 'Need for work' was evaluated statistically higher by junior and senior students compared to sophomore students of commercial foodservice major (p<0.05). In both foodservice majors, a positive relationship was found between work value scores and grade levels. All work value scores tended to be higher for students in higher grades. This tendency was especially statistically clear for the value 'need for work' for commercial foodservice major students and 'money and prestige' for institutional foodservice major students (p<0.05). There were some gaps in the work values between students with different career field choices. For the commercial foodservice majors, those interested in fine dining perceived 'satisfaction and accomplishment' and 'altruism' as more important [4.33 (p<0.05) and 4.05 (p<0.01), respectively] compared to students who had interests in fast food restaurants (4.06 and 3.67 respectively). Scores for 'satisfaction & accomplishment' (p<0.05), 'money & prestige' (p<0.001), and 'stimulation' (p<0.001) were significantly different among institutional foodservice major students. In addition, students more interested in industrial foodservice field regarded 'money & prestige' and 'stimulation' as less important as indicated by noticeably lower scores (3.74, 3.55 respectively) in comparison to the other group (p<0.001). The results of this study, which explored foodservice major students' work values, suggest that there is an increased need for the students to build up their work values as well as for the foodservice industry to offer appropriate work values to future foodservice employees.

This study was designed to clarify the learning motivations, academic self-efficacy, and problem-solving processes in the educational evaluative method in the fundamental nursing practice using moving pictures. The learning motivations and academic self-efficacy showed statistical differences based on the students' motivations of selecting, their satisfaction with the major and nursing practice, helpfulness of moving pictures, and the suitability of practical tests using a checklist. Problem-solving processes revealed statistical differences based on the students' motivations of selecting the nursing department, their satisfaction with the major and fundamental nursing their satisfaction with the major and nursing practice, the helpfulness of moving pictures, and the suitability of practical tests using a checklist. The learning motivations showed significant positive interrelations with the academic self-efficacy and problem-solving processes. In conclusion, the educational evaluative method in the fundamental nursing practice using moving pictures was related to the nursing students' learning motivations, academic self-efficacy, and problem-solving processes.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the image of nurses and major satisfaction on the nursing professionalism among nursing students in university and to presents basic data for making positive nursing professionalism. A survey was held to the university students in Seoul and Chungcheong cities from May 30 to June 4, 2019. 184 copies were in the final analysis for data analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and Multiple regression was used. As a result, the factors of affecting on the nursing professionalism were followed by character, motivation for nursing, future prospects of nursing, image of nurses and major satisfaction. The multiple regression explanatory power was 63.6percent of the total changes in nursing professionalism. Therefore, this study could be used as a basic data for the development of education programs to create positive image through positive self-image and enhance learning satisfaction in order to increase nursing students' professionalism.

The 61st Korean Academy of Pediatric Dentistry congress was hosted online for the first time in 2020 due to coronavirus disease-19. The congress was operated using the ZOOM platform. The aim of this paper is to analyze and evaluate the overall satisfaction and feedbacks from congress participants via anonymous Google Forms online survey. A test meeting was previously organized before the actual congress to facilitate the smooth process and the participants overall showed high satisfaction. Members who participated in test meeting compared to those who did not, found it significantly helpful, which contributed overall higher satisfaction with the online congress. Abstracts were accepted from the current pediatric dentistry residents and the oral presentations were also held online for the first time. The presenters and the judges were overall very satisfied. In an unguaranteed situation of termination of coronavirus disease-19, the decision to conduct an online congress was a favorable option.
