The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of major satisfaction, career decision efficacy and career attitude maturity of engineering college students to the career decision level. A total of 432 engineering students(male=339, female=96) completed major satisfaction, career decision efficacy, career attitude maturity and career decision level tests. The analysis showed the following findings. First, there are significant correlations among major satisfaction, career decision efficacy, career attitude maturity, and the career decision level. Second, the major satisfaction explained 2% of engineering college students' the career decision level. The career decision efficacy explained 21% of engineering college students' the career decision level. And the career attitude maturity explained 53% of engineering college students' the career decision level. The results of the study suggested that when career guidance and counseling program for the engineering college students, it is important to consider the factors to improve career self-efficacy and career attitude maturity.

The purpose of this study is to explore the factors that influence the choice of a major in a sample of 655 science students enrolled in 14 high schools. It was found that more than 80 percents of students had already chosen their desired majors by the second year of high school. Half intended to apply for medical colleges. The preference of medical colleges was more pronounced in high-ranking students. It was found that students who scored highly on career decision level assessments were more likely to major in science. The most important determinant for students in choosing majors was subject interests. Career concerns and students' grades also influenced the choice of majors. In this study, it is concluded that the career decision level of students and subject interests influenced their choice of major. These findings suggest the career development programs and efforts to expose students to various career paths will increase the ability to make informed educational decisions.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural correlation between career decision making self-efficacy, major satisfaction and occupation value of beauty major students by questionnaire collection and statistical analysis. Major satisfaction was found to be statistically significant at the significance level of .05 with respect to coccupation value and career decision making self-efficacy at p<.001. Occupation value was found to be statistically significant at p<.001 for career decision and job decision of career decision making self-efficacy and significance level .05. Therefore, it has been confirmed that the major satisfaction and job value are the factors that play a significant role in the self-efficiency of career decisions, and it is believed that continuous research on various variables that affect the self-efficiency of career decisions of beauty major university students is necessary.

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of teacher competence on subject satisfaction and career decision of college students majoring in physical education. From April 1 to April 30, 2022, samples were extracted using pur-posive sampling, which is a non-probability sampling method, for physical education majors attending universities of education in Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheong-do, and Daejeon, etc. 400 study participants were sampled and cross-analysis was performed on the final 340 participants. First, Teacher competency had a significant effect on career decision. Second, teacher competency had a significant effect on career decision. Third, teacher competency had a significant effect on career decision. Fourth, subject satisfaction had a significant effect on career decision. Fifth, a causal relationship was established between teacher competency, subject satisfaction, and career decision. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the future career decision of pre-service physical education teachers by investigating the effect of teacher competence on subject satisfaction and career decision of university students majoring in physical education.

The study was conducted to understand the effect of major satisfaction of university students majoring public health administration on the career decision level and career preparation behavior by the medium of career decision-making self-efficacy. The analysis result showed that major satisfaction and career decision-making self-efficacy, major satisfaction and career decision level, major satisfaction and career preparation behavior had a statistically significant positive (+) correlation respectively. In addition, the result of a path analysis using AMOS indicated that their major satisfaction level is found to have a direct and indirect effect on career decision level and indirect effect on career preparation behavior, while career decision-making self-efficacy is directly effective against career decision level and career preparation action and major satisfaction exerted an impact on career decision level and career preparation behavior by the medium of career decision-making self-efficacy. Therefore, to improve the level of public health administration university student's career decision and career preparation behavior, systematic and detailed programs and effective plans to improve their major satisfaction and career decision-making self-efficacy will be necessary.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among social support, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career decision level in golf majors. For this purpose, a survey was given to a convenience sample of 215 students in universities in Seoul and its metropolitan areas. The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlations, and multiple regression analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, social support had a significant effect on the career decision-making self-efficacy of golf majors. Second, social support had a significant effect on the career decision level of golf majors. Third, career decision-making self-efficacy had a significant effect on the career decision level of golf majors. The results of this study may be helpful to provide empirical evidence on the roles of social supports and career decision-making self-efficacy needed to decide golf majors' career path.

This study aimed to investigate the effects of work value and major satisfaction of dental hygiene students on career decision self-efficacy. A survey was conducted on dental hygiene students of a university in B area, and data were analyzed by using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 program. The extrinsic work value had a positive effect on the career decision self-efficacy directly and a negative effect on the major satisfaction, a mediator. The intrinsic work value had a positive effect on the major satisfaction directly. Additionally, extrinsic and intrinsic work values had an indirect effect on career decision self-efficacy through major satisfaction. The results suggest that it is necessary to form desirable work values and increase the level of major satisfaction in order to improve career decision self-efficacy and could be used as fundamental data for setting a career and education direction of dental hygiene students.

본 연구의 목적은 의류학 관련 전공에 대한 학생들의 전공 만족도에 영향을 주는 결정변인을 조사하는데 있다. 조사대상은 의류학 관련학과를 전공으로 하는 국내 2년제 및 4년제 10개 대학의 재학생으로, 총 690부의 설문자료가 최종 통계분석에 사용되었다. 분석은 Lisrel을 이용하여, 학생들의 전공 만족도의 결정 변인과 구조적 모형을 조사하였다. 그 결과, 학문적 경쟁력과 전공에 대 한 적성 및 흥미가 가장 중요한 전공 만족도의 결정 변인으로 밝혀졌으며, 기타 만족도 변인인 시설 및 장비, 취업, 학생활동 관여도, 사회적 유대감등은 전공 만족도에 직접 영향을 미치는 것이 아니라, 학교 만족도를 통해 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the satisfaction of college students majoring in healthcare-related fields with their major and with their clinical practice on their career decision-making level and to investigate the mediating effect of their satisfaction with clinical practice on the relationship between their satisfaction with their major and their career decision-making level. The subjects were 180 college students who had completed clinical practice as part of their healthcare-related majors at C University in A-gun, B-do Province. Their completed questionnaires were collected between March 2 and March 5, 2020; 165 questionnaires were used for the data analysis. Questionnaires with missing or insincere responses were excluded. According to the results of this study, the students showed a mean of 3.99 points in their satisfaction with their major, 3.33 points in their career decision-making level, and 3.71 points in their satisfaction with clinical practice. Statistically significant positive correlations were found between the students' satisfaction with their major, their career decision-making level, and their satisfaction with clinical practice. In addition, their satisfaction with clinical practice produced a partial mediating effect on the relationship between their satisfaction with their major and their career decision-making level, and those with a higher level of satisfaction with their major and with their clinical practice also presented higher career decision-making levels. Therefore, the present study suggests that healthcare-related students' satisfaction with their major and with clinical practice should be enhanced to increase their career decision-making levels.

The purpose of this study conducted to conduct a survey to understand the effect of security major college students' major selection motives on major satisfaction and career decisions. The questionnaire was written as "First, motivation for choice, second, major satisfaction, third, career decision". In this study, Chronbach's Alpha coefficient was calculated to analyze the reliability and importance of variables and to identify exploratory factors. And the Berimax method was performed. Both the AVE and CR values of the measured items were calculated to be above the reference value of 0.7, and thus, the convergent validity of each item was investigated as favorable. In the hypothesis test results, the standardization coefficient of 'selection motive ⇨ major satisfaction' was 0.653 and 'major satisfaction ⇨ career decision' was 0.403, so both research hypotheses were adopted. However, 'selection motive ⇨ career decision' was rejected with 0.392. In the future, universities and related professors seem to need more efforts to simultaneously increase the selection motive and major satisfaction in order to improve the career decisions of college security students.
