This paper examined vocabulary used in elementary mathematics textbooks and workbooks for the grade band of 5~6. This study focused on the adequacy of vocabulary using 9-degree of semantic difficulty. The results of this study showed that most vocabulary in the textbooks and workbooks was adequate for the target grades. In some cases, however, vocabulary that was supposed to be difficult for the fifth and sixth graders was employed in a way that the meaning of such vocabulary was difficult for students to infer in the given context. The most frequent vocabularies in the main activities of the mathematics textbooks included 'method', 'investigate', 'number', 'communicate', and 'represent'. Based on these results, this study provides 5~6 grade textbook writers with implications on what to further consider in dealing with vocabulary in instructional materials.

초등학교 교과서에 사용된 어휘의 수준을 보기 위해 교과서에 쓰인 어휘의 사용 빈도를 포함하여 결정에 영향력을 미칠 요소를 파악하고 요소간의 관계를 설립하여 교육용 어휘 설정의 나아갈 방향을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 7차 교육과정에 있는 초등학교 교과서에서 국어 어휘 교육 관련 항목을 살펴 이들의 단계별 학습 수준의 고려가 이루어져 있는지를 검토하고자 한다. 수준별 교육 과정에서 밝히고 있는 어휘 의미 교육의 위계가 세부적이고 치밀한 수준의 적정성을 바탕으로 하여 구성되어 있는지를 검토하고 초등학교 교육용 어휘 선정의 문제 분석을 통해 기본 어휘와 기초 어휘 분류의 적정 기준과 학습 활동에 있어 언어 사용 능력으로서의 어휘력과 언어 체계 속의 어휘력을 구분할 필요가 있음을 설명하고자 한다.

This paper examined vocabulary in elementary mathematics textbooks and workbooks for the grade band of 3~4. This study focused on the adequacy of vocabulary using 9-degree of semantic difficulty. The results of this study showed that about three to eight percent of vocabulary with difficulty for students in grades 3~4 was employed. Whereas some difficult vocabularies were used along with the picture that helps students understand their meanings, others were presented without any illustrative tools. The most frequent vocabularies in the main activities of the mathematics textbooks included 'investigate', 'represent', 'number', 'how many', and 'method'. Based on these results, this study provides textbook writers with implications on what to further consider in dealing with vocabulary in instructional materials.

This study aims to select the proper vocabularies for evaluation about the noise emission from water supply and drain installations in apartment bathroom. As a result of surveying overlapping vocabularies and scores of them for each sound sources, 'annoying', 'noisy', 'dynamic' and 'strident' are main unpleasant vocabularies to the noise from water supply and drain installations in apartment bathroom. And vocabularies such as 'dynamic', 'sudden', 'loudness', 'noisy' are classified into the first factor by analysis.

After the Industrialization of 1960s, while it has greatly contributed to the industrial development owing to acceleration of mechanization, but it is real situation that the countermeasure to Noise Damage generating at the loud noise workshop is scarcely made. Especially, the Instrument-Noise made at factory and workplace is so shocking and repeatedly reiterating terrible noise that most of the spot workers are forcedly imposing such dangers as the severe unpleasant feeling and hearing impairments. On such point of view, this Research has attempted to extract the proper Rating Vocabulary in order for valuation on Instrument Noise made at the terrible noise-workplace, therefore it is considering that those extracted Vocabularies could be utilized as the useful materials for appraisal on Instrument Noise, also for establishment of Regulation-Standard with regard to Acoustic Psychology Experimentation and Instrument Noise.

In this study, the extracted words from the former study such as annoying, loud, noisy, irritating, disagreeable, strident, disturbed, and dissonant are given to subjects in psycho acoustic experiment lab. And then, correlation analysis between the words and floor impact noise rating method were carried out. As a result of this study followings are suggested ‘Annoying’ is the word most accurately expressing the subjects’ unpleasant feeling of domestic floor impact noise. The results of this study could be basic materials for psycho acoustic experiments for criteria on floor impact noise and Sound Classification on Floor Impact Sound Insulation Performance.

This study analyzed the vocabularies presented in the 1st to 2nd grade elementary school mathematics field review textbook according to the 2022 revised curriculum using a 9th grade vocabulary system and improved them. The result of the analysis shows that the frequency of vocabulary that was not appropriate for the students' level was found to be 6.67% in the first semester of the first year and 12.17% in the second semester of the first year. For the first semester of the second year, it was 11.73%, and for the second semester of the second year, it was 14.19%. This shows that the frequency of vocabulary that may be difficult for students gradually increases. Based on the analysis results, vocabulary that had a high difficulty level but was not essential in the textbook was deleted, and essential vocabulary or vocabulary that was difficult for students was presented with pictures added or revised in more detail. In addition, words that can be modified with similar words with low lexical difficulty were replaced and presented. In this way, research on vocabulary difficulty can identify aspects of vocabulary used in textbooks and can help develop high-quality textbooks by appropriately modifying vocabulary for effective mathematics learning.

On such point of view, this research has attempted to extract the proper rating vocabulary in order for evaluation on machine noise made at the high noisy workshop, therefore it is considering that those extracted vocabularies could be utilized as the useful psycho-acoustic experiment for evaluation on machine noise, also for establishment of regulation standard in domestic high noisy workshop.

Recently, in accordance with the buildings are rapidly becoming to high-stories, large-sizes, and since the case that noise of equipment machinery, tool itself infringes the life environment is on increasing, this is becoming to the object of civil appeal. Accordingly, in order to set up a countermeasure against such equipment machinery noise, even a systemic evaluating method is required, up to now while the appraisal that considering on the physical characteristic only had been done, but the characteristic about subjective valuation was not reflected as yet. Therefore, in this research, through the 1st, 2nd Psycho-Acoustics Experiments, the 30 vocabularies were extracted for evaluation of the construction equipment noise. As the result of Element Analysis, the 3 Elements were extracted from these vocabularies, and it could be understood that these Elements have been trustfully selected. It is now considering that the extracted vocabularies as per the above result would be used to Psycho-Acoustic Evaluation on Equipment Noise, and Psycho-Acoustics Experiment.

Korean Classical Music, as the abbreviated wording for 'Korean Music', is being used as the indicating phraseology for our traditional music that distinguishing from Western Music, the foreign music or foreign-styled popular music. Since such Korean Classical Music has the different acoustic characteristics from Western Music, it needs its own performance space for the special exclusive-use of Korean Classical Music. Likewise, even though the demand for the performance space of special exclusive-use for Korean Classical Music where Korean Classical Music is rendering, is on increasing tendency due to the increase of national concern about traditional culture art, since it is being planned without any concrete standard or method that gratifies the supreme listening condition, it is the real situation that a securement of the satisfying acoustic condition is very difficult, after the completion of construction. On such viewpoint, in order to evaluate the acoustic characteristics of the performance space of special exclusive-use for Korean Classical Music, based on the subjective response which reflects human being's psychological attribute at first, this Study has attempted to extract the proper evaluation vocabulary for appraisement on Korean Classical Music. The abstracted vocabulary in such way would be used significantly for Subjective Response Evaluation in order for the evaluation on the Acoustic Characteristics of the performance space of special exclusive-use for Korean Classical Music.
