This study investigated whether there was a difference in off-line consumption behavior on and off-line. Online surveys were conducted on 218 people aged 20 to 59 who live in the country actively using Instagram, and the results of analysis through technical statistical analysis, logistic regression analysis, and linear regression analysis are as follows. There are some differences in the consumption items and expenditures of showing consumption behavior on Instagram and showing consumption in real space. In addition, there were different factors influencing the behavior of showing off in Instagram and the factors affecting the showing of consumption in real space. Age, education, and narcissism have an effect on show off behavior in Instagram, whereas age, materialism, and narcissism have been identified as factors influencing in real space. Whether on Instagram or in the real space, the positive emotions felt by consumers after showing off consumption had a statistically significant effect on consumer happiness. This study has significance in that it has empirically verified the difference between Instagram and actual consumption behaviors, and sought the direction of healthy consumption behaviors for consumer happiness.

We propose a stylized facial illustration method that expresses important features of a target highly abstractly but effectively from a human facial picture. Our method first detects facial components such as eyes and their associated regions from an input image, and then uses the detected results to render a stylized portrait. Our illustration method mainly consists of two key components and additional components: a tonal illustration component to draw simple tones, a line illustration component to draw a set of lines, and additional illustration components for hair, clothes. etc. The illustration part of the proposed method aims at illustrating features of a target effectively in a highly abstracted way like hand-drawn paintings. In order to achieve this goal, our method adopts an oriental black-ink painting style, which expresses objects effectively with empty spaces and simple expressions such as abstracted lines.

한국 대중문화의 발전과 더불어 국내외에서는 한류라는 브랜드로 대한민국의 문화와 대한민국 자체에 대하여 많은 호감과 함께 질투의 시선을 보내고 있다. 이러한 대한민국의 대중문화산업은 이제 대한민국을 벗어나 우리만의 문화가 아닌 세계를 지향하며 공감대를 형성하는 문화로 발전하고 있으며, 대중적인 인기를 얻고 있는 스타들이 문화첨병의 역할을 하고 있는 상황이다. 이제 한국의 대중문화는 우리만의 것이 아닌 세계인과 소통하고 나누어야 하는 문화인 것이다. 대한민국의 문화산업은 이제 가파른 성장만이 아닌 기본에 충실한 역사와 철학을 수반해야 할 것이며, 대중에 대한 사회적인 책임과 역할을 수행함으로써 더욱더 세계의 문화와 교감하며 발전해 나갈 수 있을 것이다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 대중들의 사랑을 통하여 성장하는 스타들의 사회적 기여와 그 활동에 대한 사례를 살펴보고 한류의 지속적인 발전과 문화 창출을 위한 올바른 소셜테이너로서의 책임 및 역할과 지구공동체를 위한 힐링 소사이어티에 대하여 고찰해 보고자 한다.

This paper is a study on the 'primitivism' which is constantly being applied on modem and contemporary textile design as a aItanative expression of the serious environmental phenomena of materialism. Starting with the analyzation of the 'concept of primitivism' , this paper is to research the 'origin of primitivism' which was first recognized by the modem artists. Primitivism on modem textile design will be suggested through 'trend terms'. The purpose of this paper is to be a basic material source for the creative development in design as well as to be of help in development of theoretical the study on contemporary textile design.

XML문서를 위한 XSL 스타일 생성 편집기 개발에 대해 소개한다. XSL은 XML문서가 어떻게 보여질 것인가를 기술하는 언어인데, 이것으로 웹 상의 문서 스타일을 기술하기 위해서는 웹 에디터와 같은 편집기가 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 스타일 편집을 위하여 DTD를 사용하지 않고 XML문서를 이용하는 편집기의 개발에 관하여 살펴보고, 문서의 형태를 고루 지원하지 못하는 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 DTD 정보를 보완할 수 있는 기능을 제안하였다. 본 시스템은 WYSIWYG 편집 기능을 제공하며, XSL의 템플릿 기능을 활용하여 스타일의 재귀적인 적용이라는 새로운 개념의 편집 방식을 제공한다.

Star graph is a well-known interconnection network to further improve the network cost of Hypercube and has good properties such as node symmetry, maximal fault tolerance and strongly hierarchical property. In this study, we will suggest embedding scheme among star graph and pancake graph, bubblesort graph, which are variations of star graph. We will show that bubblesort graph can be embedded into pancake and star graph with dilation 3, expansion 1, respectively and pancake graph can be embedded into bubblesort graph with dilation cost O($n^2$). Additionally, we will show that star graph can be embedded into pancake graph with dilation 4, expansion 1. Also, with dilation cost O(n) we will prove that star graph can be embedded into bubblesort graph and pancake graph can be embedded into star graph.

Based on the importance of asset allocation in the return of an investment portfolio, this article attempts to verify the appropriateness of mutual funds as means of investment to obtain optimal asset allocation. The return-based style analysis is applied to determine a mutual fund's allocation(or a style) among a set of specified asset classes. Assuming a particular investor who defines a range allowed a fund's style to differ from its original one, it is examined whether or not the fund style is continued over an investment time horizon. After verifying the fact that the original style of the investment fails to remain unchanged from the empirical analysis limited to domestic equity mutual funds, we further investigated the reasons for the style drift. Despite several limitations of the analysis, it yields the conclusion that domestic equity mutual funds do not seem to be an appropriate investment tool to achieve a target asset allocation.

In this paper, PTAS three-dimensional Steiner minimum tree connecting numerous input nodes rapidly in 3D space is proposed. Steiner minimum tree problem belongs to NP problem domain, and when properly devised heuristic introduces, it is generally superior to other algorithms as minimum spanning tree affiliated with P problem domain. But when the number of input nodes is very large, the problem requires excessive execution time. In this paper, a method using PTAS is proposed to solve the difficulty. In experiments for 70,000 input nodes in 3D space, the tree produced by the proposed 8 space partitioned PTAS method reduced 86.88% execution time, compared with the tree by naive 3D steiner minimum tree method, though increased 0.81% tree length. This affirms the proposed method can work well for applications that many nodes of three dimensions are need to connect swifty, enduring slight increase of tree length.

For Automatic Meter Reading System, good topology of check machines, concentrators, and repeaters in client field is important. Steiner Minimum Tree is a minimum cost tree connecting all given nodes with introducing Steiner points. In this paper, an efficient mechanism allocating and connecting check machines, concentrators and repeaters which are essential elements in automatic meter reading system is proposed, which conducts repeated applications of building approximate Minimum Steiner Trees. In the mechanism, input nodes and Steiner points might correspond to check machine, concentrators or repeaters and edges might do to the connections between them. Therefore, through suitable conversions and processes of them, an efficient network for automatic meter reading system with both wired and wireless communication techniques could be constructed. In our experiment, for 1000 input nodes and 200 max connections per node, the proposed mechanism shortened the length of produced network by 19.1% comparing with the length of Minimum Spanning Tree built by Prim's algorithm.
