In this paper, we propose a novel model and effective authoring strategy of educational contents which improve the drilling effects in the cyber education through Internet. Especially we offer an authoring process of digital contents of engineering departs using JAVA component library technology and concept-based branch method, making the element of the library as unit-contents separated in accordance with their characteristics arid then accessing them at arbitrary instant in the replaying time. In proportion to the proposed model and strategy, the resultant contents shows advanced adaptabilities and interactions so that the contents can be user-oriented considerations. Combining and realizing the proposed authoring strategy for constitution of digital contents, we can get a more efficient scenario of making and drilling especially in the area of engineering or language courses.

This study aims to propose guideline for uniform title of legal works. To achieve this objective, this study (1) reviewed the uniform title and authority access points of legal works targeting RDA, NCR, KCR2 and KCR5, (2) analyzed the actual application methods by investigating the guideline and bibliographic data for uniform title for legal works targeting LC, DNB, and university libraries, (3) examined the scope of application of uniform title in the bibliographic data of the National Library of Korea and suggested points to consider when developing guidelines for uniform title. Based on this, (4) a draft guideline for creating uniform title for legal works was formulated. The draft was revised after review by a librarian and consultation with experts, and then the final draft was proposed. The data were obtained through literature reviews and case studies, and additional data were obtained through e-mail interviews and expert advice.

This study aims to propose the considerations for developing the guidelines for recording a preferred title in musical works by analyzing the RDA rules and guidelines of several national libraries. First, RDA rules were analyzed, and the primary rules for consideration were examined by reviewing RDA application guidelines from eight national libraries that have developed their own guidelines for alternatives and options of RDA rules. Then, by analyzing the contents of each guideline, including MLA, LC-PCC, and DACH, practical considerations was to provide. First, the original language title should be adopted in the selection of preferred title, but if the title in the original language is not suitable for domestic users, the title in other languages should be used. Second, the preferred title was examined in aspects of works with one part, works with more than one part, the complete works of one author, the compilation of a specific type of composition, the incomplete compilation, and the compilation of several composers. Third, medium of performance, numeric numbers, key, and other identifying characteristics were presented as additional factors for consideration in the recording. Fourth, it is necessary to designate or present a control vocabularies for the types of compositions and the medium of performance. This study suggests considerations in developing guidelines for recording the preferred title for RDA musical works, and it will be possible to contribute to the development of rules related to preferred titles for musical works and guidelines for recording the preferred title for musical works in libraries.

본 연구의 목적은 비디오/오디오 프로토콜 분석 방식을 이용해서 텍스타일 디자인 프로세스 중 모티브 개발 단계에서 디지털 나염(DTP : Digital Textile Printing) 전용 캐드(CAD)와 같은 디자인 저작도구를 설계할 때 어떤 요소에 중점을 두고 개발 할 것인지에 대한 향상된 지침을 마련하는데 있다. 텍스타일 디자인 프로세스에 대한 프로토콜 분석을 위해 선행 연구를 고찰하여 디자인 행동 범주의 틀을 하향식(top-down)방식으로 설정하고 실제 행동 프로토콜 (action protocol) 분석을 통해 상향식(bottom-up)방식으로 세부 디자인 행동을 도출하였다. 텍스타일 디자인은 선행연구의 건축디자인과는 다른 특징을 지니기 때문에 프로토콜 분석에서도 새로운 디자인 행동 범주(action category)가 필요하게 되었다. 이를 위하여 모델 휴먼 프로세서(Model Human Processor)이론을 근거로 디자인 행동을 모터 행동(motor action), 지각 행동(perceptual action), 인지 행동(cognitive action)의 세 가지 범주[4]로 나누었으며 텍스타일 디자인 프로세스에 적합한 코딩 스킴(coding scheme)을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서는 이 새로운 코딩 스킴을 토대로 디자인 저작도구에 대한 디자이너의 인지적 모형(Cognitive Model)을 개발하였다. 이렇게 개발된 디자이너의 인지적 모형은 디지털 나염을 기반으로 하는 모티브 개발 단계에서 스케치와 렌더링에 대한 디자인 저작 도구의 향상된 설계지침 뿐만 아니라 방향도 시사하였다.

This study was to suggest the construction of work and expression authority records for FRBRization. ICP, FRBR/FRAD and RDA as the content rules were referred as the framework for the construction of work and expression authority records. LC RDA authority records examples, JSC of RDA authority examples, and VIAF work and expression authority records were analyzed as case studies. 5 findings were suggested. First, authority records consist of name, work, and expression authority records which are inter-related. Second, the construction of authorized access points was suggested according to 5 work types. Third, the consideration in describing work attributes as separate element and as part of an authorized access point, and other distinguishing characteristic of the work were suggested. Fourth, the consideration in describing expression attributes as separate element and as part of an authorized access point, and other distinguishing characteristic of the expression were suggested. Fifth, 5XX was suggested for linking between work and expression. This study would contribute to revise KCR4.

The National Archives of Korea(NAK) has arranged and operated 'Guidelines on Operating Copyright for Archives' and 'Regulations on Operating Reference Room' to protect the copyright for archives. However, the Guidelines and the Regulations only provide application to the Copyright Act and principles on internal managing copyright without presenting copyright issues for each type of archives. Therefore, additional detailed guidelines have to be arranged for the users to access to copyright issues easily by presenting them the standards of judgement or principles on copyright issues for each type of the archives to facilitate the use of archives collected already. We also need to define the details on Copyright Act and Moral Rights Act to collect archives. This study is an prior analysis for that purpose. Lively discussion and way of operation in an aspect of the copyright in relation to private records should be sought in the future.

The purpose of this study is to suggest $\lceil$the copyright guideline on reproduction and transmission in libraries$\rfloor$ in order to produce and service works within the framework of the present Korean copyright law. The study examined researches on the library exemption regulation based on the present Korean copyright law and copyright remuneration. Also the study examined revised draft of present Korean copyright law. In the introduction Part of this guideline the purpose of the guideline is clarified and terms used in the guideline is defined. In the body of this guideline the copyright guideline on library exemption regulation(the article 28 in the Copyright Act of Korea) and copyright remuneration related to reproduction and transmission in libraries is in detail suggested.

'Digilog Book' dealing with the combination of each advantage of analog sensibility on texts and digital sensation on virtual reality is one of the noble applications of U-book. Based on contents from books, enhancing 3D immersive display enable readers to enjoy various experiences with multisensory feedback provided. Also, 'Digilog Book' provides digitally created stories that would project different experiences and environments interacting users' choices on the interface of the book. This study focuses on developing users friendly implementation tools providing more interaction between digitally generated stories and digitally generated interface so that interaction between virtual reality and actual realty is expanded through simulating contexts and extents. From the application scenario 'Digilog Book' would perform as a storytelling tool with developing subordinated elements such as context structure, screen structure, definition of writing function, writing interface, writing system structure, etc. Therefore, this study would become a significance to direct and indicate the development of writing techniques on virtual reality back to life through digitally augmented reality.

Due to the radical changes of information technology, it becomes indispensable for educators and students of university to learn how to use copyrighted works ethically and legally without violating the copyright law. As a result, academic libraries need to take responsibilities to inform them fair use criteria and to provide proper fair use guidelines. This study analysed various fair use guidelines for them and copyright law to identify key areas of fair use guideline for the academic libraries. It also investigated 10 university libraries' web sites to find that the identified key areas are delivered to the educators and students.

The purposes of this study are to explore FRBR utilities such as work clustering and expression clustering and problems of application of the FRBR by developing work and expression clustering algorithm and implementing it into cataloging system, and to suggest new cataloging rules for FRBR and guideline of MARC description to improve FRBR work clustering. FRBR was suggested by necessitation of collocation function of bibliographic records according to increase of searching materials and multi-version materials, but FRBRization has some problems such as imperfect conversion of bibliographic records to FRBR records and inappropriateness of current cataloging rules for FRBR. Bibliographic records must be processed by FRBR algorithm to construct FRBRized system, but bibliographic records and current cataloging rules couldn't perfectly support FRBRization. Therefore cataloging rules and guidelines of MARC description for FRBR are needed. For constructing FRBRized cataloging system in Korea, it is needed to find problems and solution through FRBR practical application such as developing FRBR algorithm and applying it to cataloging records.
