The Internet technologies allows anybody who has connect a network to access various multimedia information. But, it brings new issues about the violation of intellectual property and copyright of multimedia contents. Digital right managements have been actively studied as approaches to solve them. In this paper, we propose license-based schemes for the protection of contents and its rights on digital right management. The proposed schemes provide limited distribution and superdistribution of contents, and guarantee to securely use contents by usage rules.

It is evaluated that there is infinit capability of creating new e business using P2P program. but the research for the method to protect the copyright of digital contents is urgent even for development of the p2p service because the problem of copyright protection for digital contents is not solved. In this article, we designed the P2P system which cm give the function of security with technology for copyright management which is made with AES algorism based on PKI when users send digital contants to each other in internet.

XrML(eXtensible rights Markup Language) that is application of XML(eXtensible Markup Language) to permit efficient present and storage of copyright information for digital contents, share hereupon established by each venders laying stress on W3C. Need system that could express copyright information for digital contents in structural language by creation of this XrML document and user who use structural information of XrML to make out XrML document effectively can edit efficiently. So that user can edit XrML document that can describe about copyright or working conditions for digital contents in treatise that see hereupon efficiently, XrML text editing system for digital contents copyright administration design and embody.

It is issued that protecting and managing a copyright are very important to a digitization of multimedia content. All of these techniques are for developing solution about protection and management of the copyright and media service. These have been at the head of the growth of the whole media service, but cause problems such as a illegal copy and distribution. To solve these problems, researchers are performing many projects. We analyze the trend of a multimedia service IPMP(Intellectual Property Management and Protection), DMP(Digital Media Project), ENTHRONE(End-to-end Qos through Integrated Management of Content, Networks and Terminals), and DRM(Digital Rights Management).

A digital content have been utilized extensively without being limited to one territory of communication, computer, broadcasting, Mobile etc. A digital contents industry have been raised to a key point industry of a knowledge information society. An information infra setup of a global unit was processing to the development of Internet therefor copyright protection a digital contents and system for the officer have been desired. Like this, according as digital contents do fetters to MPEG-4 is circulated, copyright problem was risen. So, people had a lot of interests to protect and manage copyright. Hereupon, MPEG of the IS0/IEC established IPMP(Intellectual Property Management and Protection) standard, and supplements and corrects continuously standard. Therefore, existing system does fetters to MPEG-4 need system that process IPMP information. Hereupon. in this paper, designed system module that is processed by IPMP extension standard that progress now, and embodied copyright protection and management system that user can insert and update IPMP information efficiently within whole or specification part of MPEG-4 digital contents.

This study aims to identify copyright issues regarding the knowledge content currently circulated through knowledge exchange markets in the Republic of Korea. The content providers of knowledge exchange markets comprise government & public institutions, full-text database companies, publishers and individuals. It is worth noting that commercial trade of copyrighted content or material among academic journals, database companies and knowledge exchange markets essentially exclude individual authors who are the actual copyright holders. In principle, the original author owns the copyright whether it has an explicit notice or not. Unless the author/owner officially agrees to transfer the copyright including the right for so-called "derivative works", content-making based or derived from the copyrighted material, digitalization of the copyrighted work as well as its registration on full-text database and circulation through knowledge markets are illegal.

The ownership of scholarly communication, i.e. copyright is very important to solve the problem of access to many academic journals in network environment. The purpose of this article is to give a conceptual model for the open access based scholarly communication. The main point of this model is for the authors of research paper to retain copyright on their works and to license the work whenever it is reproduced or redistributed for non-profit use with academic purpose. And library have to construct full text journal databases under this open access license.

본 논문에서는 DRM 기술을 이용하여 소프트웨어의 저작권 및 라이센스의 관리를 위한 온라인 소프트웨어 유통시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관하여 기술한다. 제안된 방법에 있어서 평문 및 인증서 정보, 그리도 전자서명등은 AES 알고리즘을 사용하여 전송하지만, 라이센스는 사용자의 공개키 방식(RSA알고리즘)을 이용하여 전송되기 때문에 불법 사용자에 의한 라이센스 입수가 원천적으로 봉쇄된다. 또한, 라이센스의 지속적인 관리로 인해 소프트웨어 불법 사용 및 불법 배포에 노출된 소프트웨어의 저작권을 보호하는데 매우 유효하다.

최근 디지털 기술의 발전으로 인해 콘텐츠 제작자들은 텍스트, 오디오, 비디오 등의 콘텐츠를 고품질의 디지털 형태로 제작할 수 있게 되었다. 또한 인터넷 확산과 통신 기술의 발전은 컴퓨터 간의 상호 연결성을 증대시켜 디지털 콘텐츠를 쉽게 전파할 수 있게 되면서 디지털 콘텐츠 수요가 급격히 증가하고 있다. 소프트웨어의 품질은 생명주기 초기 단계가 좌우하며 초기 단계의 문제점이 수정되지 않으면 단계가 진행됨에 따라 또 다른 문제점을 야기하며 갈수록 오류 수정 및 보완이 곤란해진다. 본 연구에서는 디지털저작권관리 소프트웨어의 분석단계 품질평가 방법을 구축하였으며 이를 활용함으로써 국내 디지털저작권관리 소프트웨어 품질인식을 제고하고 개발 기술 및 품질 향상에 기여할 것이다.

MPEG-4 디지털 콘텐츠는 통신, 컴퓨터, 방송, 모바일 등의 다양한 분야에서 멀티이디어 데이터를 처리하기 위한 표준으로 자리 잡고 있다. 하지만 저작권 보호 및 관리 시스템의 부재로 기업간 저작권 시스템의 문제와 관심이 대두되어 ISO/IEC의 산하기관인 MPEG에서는 MPEG-4 시스템 표준에 부합되는 IPMP(Intellectual Property Management and Protection) 시스템 인터페이스를 표준으로 제정하여 저작권을 보호하고 관리하는 공동 방법을 제공하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기존 MPEG-4 저작도구에 기반하여 MPEG-4 IPMP 시스템을 플러그인처럼 추가할 수 있는 확장 시스템 구현을 목적으로 두고 있다. 설계 부분은 IPMP 정보 저장부, IPMP 정보 변환부, 멀티미디어 처리부, XMT-A to MP4 컨버터, IPMP 정보 처리부로 구성하였고. 저작자가 IPMP 정보를 효율적으로 입력, 수정하고 시스템에서 처리되도록 구현하여 표준에 따라 보호 및 관리 신호를 갖는 MPEG-4 디지털 콘텐츠를 저작하였다.
