재난안전 분야의 기술개발 동향을 파악하고 지적 관계를 분석하기 위한 연구에서 신뢰성과 최신성을 겸비한 학술정보를 활용하는 것은 매우 유용하다. 기존의 논문 기반 계량정보분석 연구에서는 관련 분야의 학술지와 키워드를 중심으로 분석 대상 논문을 선별하여 연구재료로 사용하였다. 본 논문에서는 재난안전 분야의 보다 세부적인 연구 특성 파악을 위해 국내 대학기관의 방재 및 안전공학 학과에 소속된 저자들의 논문 정보를 대상으로 기관식별, 학과유형 분류, 재난안전유형 분류. 표준산업분류를 매핑하고 주요 측면별로 분석 연구를 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 재난안전 분야 연구에서 저자소속 기관의 유형 및 지역적 분포, 공저 학과 유형의 구성, 재난안전유형 및 표준산업분류의 현황과 핵심 키워드가 자세히 파악되었다. 연구 결과는 향후 지능형 위기경보 체계 구축을 위한 재난유형별 주요 기관 및 전문가 식별과 추천에 활용이 기대된다.

Carlo H. Sequin, a computer scientist, became to know a sculpture of subtle space construction which was created by Brent Collins, a sculptor, and introduced it as 'Visual Mathematics' in a journal. Sequin who was able to deduce a basic logic of the construction, has developed a software which can be used for virtual modeling merely by substituting simple numerical values using a computer and supplied it to Collins. The present author who was exposed to their collaboration works through series of their papers published in the journal, Leonardo, introduces the Collins' sculptures and the author's modeling procedures of animation works both of which show many common things in visual characteristics and modeling expansion method. The author investigates the mathematical characteristics which is used as a basic motive of modeling and then supplied as a principal visual characteristics of a material. 'Modeling Development by Principle Expansion,' in which the expansion is developed on the base of space twist as for Collins whereas the space section as for the present author, is introduced in this study. With the same stream of the mutual reaction in 'arts, sciences and technology' which has been stressed with the development of sciences and technology, this modeling technology is suggested as a research theme which has a possiblity of various applications.

Due to the development of science and technology, the convergence of various disciplines has been fostered. Accordingly, interdisciplinary studies have increasingly been expanded by integrating knowledge and methodology from different disciplines. The primary focus of biblimetric methods is on investigating the intellectual structure a field, and analysis of the characterization of interdisciplinary studies is overlooked. In this study, we aim to identify the intellectual structure of the field of medical informatics through author co-citation analysis and co-word analysis by the representative journal "IEEE ENG MED BIOL." In addition, we examine authors and MeSH Terms of top three representative journals for further analysis of the field. We examine the intellectual structure of the medical informatics field by author and word clusters to identify the network structure of medical informatics disciplines.

This study developed subject guides for modern Korean literature materials that National Library of Korea owns. These were developed through processes such as domestic and foreign case studies, research on user's awareness, and theoretical investigation of modern Korean literature and subject guides in order to reflect characteristics unique to modern Korean literature which existed under special historical conditions. The results of acquiring actual data are as follows. First, this study acquired bibliographic data on 23,731 cases of works and information about figures regarding 117 authors of modern Korean literature. Second, this study covered raw data generated by the corresponding authors from 1894 to 1945 and the derived data generated by other authors until now on the basis of that. Third, an attempt was made to cluster the relevant information through arrangement system by author, genre and time period. The above-mentioned study results are regarded to be significant because an attempt is made to systematize and structure modern Korean literature existing in a complicated condition to such an extent that it was not possible for even the relevant academic world to find exact statistical data on author at that time.

This paper examines the characteristics of the JASIST (Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology) editorial board members and their research areas through author co-citation analysis, and investigates whether the editorial board members' research areas are related with keywords frequently appeared in the journal's research articles. In the process, research areas of the central members and those appeared most frequently as keywords will be identified. Research areas of the 36 members on the JASIST editorial board are collected and categorized to compare with the categorization of keywords extracted from 169 research articles published in JASIST, 2013. The result shows that members with higher centrality in the co-citation network are related with research areas that are also dominant in the distribution of article keywords. The areas include information behavior and searching, information retrieval, information system design, and bibliometrics.

The purpose of this study is to study library marketing research trends in Korea and other countries through the analysis of author keyword network of peer-reviewed journal articles. The author keyword was collected from four major LIS journals in Korea and Scopus academic database for other countries'. The data was analyzed using NetMiner4 software. The results of the study were as follows: 1) In Korea, lots of library marketing studies focused on public libraries. However, there was a range of library marketing researches focused on academic libraries in other countries, 2) In Korea, there was not a variety of subjects of library marketing studies and the studies were mainly led by a few scholars, 3) In other countries, many scholars paid attention to digital library marketing through social media and/or web, and 4) there little library marketing studies focused on school libraries both in Korea and other countries.

This study aimed at finding theological trends of Calvin Theological Journal by analyzing Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH). The study performed the time-series analysis and the analysis of distinctive terms by examining the main authors and the subject headings of the articles published in Calvin Theological Journal during 45 years. We also proposed a new method of dividing the analysis period with the change of authors and subject headings. In the analysis results, the 18 main authors had the three clusters and shared Calvin and the Reformed Theology, the Bible. The reformed characteristics were shown in the first and second period, but the reformed theology was at the margins. The frequency of Calvin became small in the third period, the frequency of the reformed theology became bigger than before, but it was at the perimeters. Literary criticism was clustered independently. There were lots of the terms of the reformed theology in the analysis of the distinctive terms in all three periods and especially in the 2-1 period science and religion were included as the distinctive terms. Therefore, the theological tendency of the Calvin Theological Journal seemed the reformed theology and Old Testament.

연소 효율, 배기 특성을 제어하기 위하여 연소 반응대의 상세한 구조를 이해해야 하며 이를 토대로 열역학적 모델을 만들 필요가 있다. 본 고에서는 이미 여러 연구자들에 의하여 제안된 예혼합 화염의 반응대 구조에 대한 열적 모델과 확산모델을 소개하고 각각에 대한 응용과 가능성에 대하여 저자의 의견을 제시하였다.

지난 8월 강원대학교 동물생명과학대학 이성기 교수(한국축산식품학회 회장)가 '닭고기와 계란의 과학'이란 책을 출간(증보개정판)하였다. 닭고기는 지방이 적고 단백질이 풍부한 식품이며 계란은 콜레스테롤 때문에 오랜 기간 억울한 누명을 썼지만 영양가가 풍부하고 건강에 유익한 식품이다. 앞으로 닭고기 계란의 독립적 특성에 대해 보다 쉽게 이해할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. '닭고기와 계란의 과학' 저자 이성기 교수를 만나 인터뷰한 내용을 정리 하였다.
