  • In this study, We analyzed whether the quality of marine leisure sports experience have effects on participants satisfaction, immersion and 5motive for reparticipation. We also investigated effect of participants' pre-experience of participating race on satisfaction, immersion and motive for reparticipation. Sense of freedom and social interaction appeared to affect satisfaction of participants significantly, but the sense of control did not. Sense of freedom had effect on immersion, whereas sense of control and social interaction had no effect on immersion. Significant relationship between motive for reparticiaption and participants' satisfaction and immersion was observed. Interaction effect between participant's satisfaction and was significant. Immersion mediates relation between reparticiaption and participants' satisfaction, participants experienced yahct race before showed more effect of satisfaction on motive for reparticiaption than participants with no race experience, who showed no significant effect of satisfaction on motive for reparticiaption. Immersion have effect on motive for reparicipation in both groups, but effect size was greater in the group with race experience. Thus, satisfaction and immersion of participants who have pre-experience of participating race showed greater effect on reparticipation than who haven't.

  • In Daesoon Jinrihoe (The Society of Daesoon Truth), pilgrimages can serve as a medium to experience and spread Daesoon Thought. The purpose of this study is to gauge the empirical impact that the motive of a pilgrimage has on the satisfaction level of the participant and the participant's willingness to revisit the holy place. This study further suggests a variety of propositions to promote pilgrimages and thereby Daesoon Thought. This study employs hierarchical analysis for measuring the correlation between all factors the pilgrimage can entail and also the moderator variables (holy places) in the pilgrimage. The study reveals that empirical motive is one of the most influential factors in determining a given participant's level of satisfaction and willingness to revisit said holy place. It is also revealed also that the religious significance of a holy place plays an important role in satisfaction and future revisitation. This study claims pilgrimages are a form of learning and cultural exchange which promotes Daesoon Thought that enables maturity of religious faith. Thereby, all stake holders in the Daesoon Jinrihoe community including clergy should increase their efforts to raise awareness and recognition of Daesoon Truth.

  • Recently, society's relationship with science is in a critical phase. There was never a time when the issues involving science were more exciting. Many people are deeply uneasy about the safety and ethics of bio-technology. On the other hand, this could be interpreted as a dynamic process in which a new relationship between science and public is reshaping. And in this new relationship citizen participation in science is not a option but a necessity. This article is a case study of 1970's re-combinant DNA debate. Early 1970's bio-technology saw the emergence of an enormously powerful new methodology, recombinant DNA technology. But, at the outset, this technology posed many potential dangers. Concern over possible hazards prompted hot debates and conflict between leading scientists and community, In this process Cambridge Laboratory Experiment Lion Review Board (CERB) is organized by Cambridge City Coun il for assessing the possible risk of recombinant DAN technique. This is one of the first citizen-initiated participation movement in bio-technology. And the debates has come to be a principal focus for many of the most important questions concerning citizen participation in science. This study make a attempt to analyze CERB case. In conclusion, we can confirm the possibility of civil participation in science policy making and decision making from CERB case study. Still, we also realize the limit of CERB case.

  • In this paper, we propose the relationship between self-determination, home training satisfaction, and reuse of police-related students who participate in home training and train their physical strength. The subjects of this study were students enrolled in the Department of Police Administration and Police Martial Arts at D, S, and K universities in Busan and Gyeongnam area. Among them, 349 students who had participated in home training were surveyed. As a result of verifying the relationship between self-determination, exercise satisfaction, and reuse factors using the collected data, SPSSWIN VER 25+, AMOS 20.0 program, First, autonomy, competence, and relationship, which are sub-factors of self-determination of home training participants, had a positive effect on home training satisfaction. Second, exercise satisfaction of home training participants had a positive effect on home training reuse. Based on the research results,It is essential to identify and manage what home training participants demand. It is believed that this can be a positive process for the development of home training.
