This paper refer to the trade-off between delivery frequency and amount between supplier and discountstores. Discountstores prefer frequent delivery of small amount because of limited storage space, while suppliers prefer less frequent delivery of large amount in order to save transportation cost In this paper we propose a heuristic algorithm to determine the amount of order and the delivery frequency which decreases the expected length of stockout. We also evaluate various order policies for vendor managed inventory system using simulation with real data.

The design of multi -echelon distribution system is need for appropriate inventory control strategy considering for systematic tradeoff between trunk cost in central warehouse and inventory cost in regional warehouse. This study presents a method of the efficient inventory control of multi-echelon distribution system through partial leadtime management.

PDA나 핸드폰 같은 이동단말기기의 빠른 보급과 이동 네트웍 서비스의 증가로 다양한 컨텐츠가 제공되고 있다. 그러나 PDA 사용자는 현재의 서비스 보다 더욱 단순한 규칙과 쉬운 사용방법을 제공하고, 실생활에 빈 번히 적용되는 컨텐츠를 원한다. 본 논문에서는 클라이언트-서버 모델을 기반으로 이동 네트웍 환경에서 식당의 음식 메뉴를 주문 예약하고, 결제 내용을 확인하는 PDA를 위한 임베디드 소프트웨어 시스템 PDA-MENU 의 설계와 구현을 기술한다 이러한 PDA 시스템은 고객의 주문 상세내용 기록, 신속한 주문확인, 고객과의 결제를 통하여 서비스의 효율성을 높이고, 운영비의 감소를 지원할 수 있으며, 재고 관리 등에 활용할 수 있다.

Recently, the standardization and computerization of franchise management have been necessitated from the specialization of industrial areas and the diversification of customer requirements. The existing ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) systems are commercially used, but usually are restrictive solutions about manufactured goods and inventory management. etc. In this Paper, we propose an effective franchise management system Franchiser X1(FX1), which is a total component-based franchise management system for effectively supporting franchise management works, including the recruit of franchisees, the management of franchisees, consulting, education and A/S, bill collecting, and so on.

The purpose of this study applies Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) to better understand the role of antecedents leading to intention of VMI use. The findings are as follows. First, the model that applied VMI, a SCM information technology, to TAM is appropriate for measuring and analyzing the acceptance intention of organizational members, VMI users. Second, higher satisfaction in VMI system factors led to a greater level of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of VMI. Third, higher satisfaction in VMI cooperation factors led to a greater level of perceived ease of use of VMI. Fourth, the perceived ease of use of VMI had an impact on the perceived usefulness of VMI, similar to the findings of other studies. Fifth, the perceived ease of use of VMI had a positive impact on intention of the continuous VMI use.

Currently, soldiers enlisted in the military (Army) are receiving measurements (automatic, manual) of body parts and trying on sample clothing at boot training centers, and then receiving clothing in the desired size. Due to the low accuracy of the measured size during the measurement process, in the military, which uses a relatively more detailed sizing system than civilian casual clothes, the supplied clothes do not fit properly, so the frequency of changing the clothes is very frequent. In addition, there is a problem in that inventory is managed inefficiently by applying the measurement system based on the old generation body shape data collected more than a decade ago without reflecting the western-changed body type change of the MZ generation. That is, military uniforms of the necessary size are insufficient, and many unnecessary-sized military uniforms are in stock. Therefore, in order to reduce the frequency of clothing replacement and improve the efficiency of stock management, deep learning-based automatic measurement of body size, big data analysis, and machine learning-based "Personalized Combat Uniform Automatic Recommendation System for Enlisted Soldiers" is proposed.

The telecommunication technology in the 21st century has come up to the standard which could transmit various spatial information by means of on-line and the printing technology using computers has been on a par with presswork in quality. In addition, map users also would like to get various spatial information through on-line directly or indirectly. None the less, the supply system of national base map in our country has maintained the off-line sales method. It is owing to this reason that the nation's supply system has shown a high degree of inefficiency from the viewpoint of the inventory control, rapidity, and economical efficiency as compared with the on-line sales system in the developed countries. In this paper, a case study is introduced on the development of an information system for production management in the injection molding factory. For the systematic management of the information derived from the whole production process, an integrated and computerized information system is needed. In this paper, an integrated information system of production management for the W company is developed to manage the whole information related with make-to-order, production, delivery, and inventory, and so forth.
