Development of Disabled Ski Teaching Method for using systematic literature review (체계적 문헌고찰을 활용한 장애인 스키 교수법 개발)

  • The purpose of the research is to figure out the problem of skiing-lesson to handicapped person and to develop and verify skiing-lesson manual by exploring skiing lesson's main factors of handicapped. To achieve the object of the research, we have done a survey to 14 people who agreed on participating in the research by doing open type-questionnaire survey to explore the obstructive factors of ski-vitalization for the handicapped. We have chosen two professor of adapted physical education, two ski specialists for the handicapped, and two instructors for national ski team to the adaptive to analyze the priority of ski-lesson to handicapped. There were a few results the result of developing the skiing-lesson manual for the handicapped was classified by 4types according to the types of disability. (two-track, three-track, four-track, monoski).

Effects of Gamified Disability Awareness Program on the Peers' Disability (게임화된 장애체험활동이 비장애아동의 장애인식에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, the effect of gamified disability awareness program was researched to examine its potential to be used as a disability awareness curriculum particular to Korean schools. The gamified program consisted of lessons related to disability skiing such as learning about Paralympic skier, experiencing mono skis, and participating in cooperative games. To examine its effectiveness, Multidimensional Attitudes Scale towards persons with disabilities (MAS) was used. Results indicate that the attitude of the experiment group showed significant change.

Comfort Analysis of Mono-ski with Hydraulic Absorber (모노스키 유압 완충장치 특성에 따른 탑승 안락감 평가)

  • The mono-ski for the paraplegia designed to skiing is formed as seat bucket on the sled. The impact force transferred by snow surface during skiing is absorbed by the leg joints of normal human, but it is transferred to the human body on the seat when using mono-ski. Most of commercially available mono-ski have absorbing device and link mechanism between seat and ski mount in order to complement it. In this study we developed the comfort evaluation model that could provide skiing simulation of mono-ski with hydraulic damper and analyzed vibrational acceleration occurred during skiing uneven surface. The evaluation method used in this study is the international standard BS6841. We evaluated comfort performance of mono-ski in accordance with nozzle adjustment of hydraulic damper.

Penetration Depth Computation for Rigid Models using Explicit and Implicit Minkowski Sums (명시적 그리고 암시적 민코우스키 합을 이용한 강체 침투깊이 계산 알고리즘)

  • We present penetration depth (PD) computation algorithms using explicit Minkowski sum construction ($PD_e$) and implicit Minkowski sum construction ($PD_i$). Minkowski sum construction is the most time consuming part in fast PD computation. In order to address this issue, we find a candidate solution using a centroid difference and motion coherence. Then, $PD_e$ constructs or updates partial Minkowski sum around the candidate solution. In contrast, $PD_i$ constructs only a tangent plane to the Minkowski sums iteratively. In practice, our algorithms can compute PD for complicated models consisting of thousands of triangles in a few milli-seconds. We also discuss the benefits of using different construction of Minkowski sums in the context of PD.

  • There are lots of disabled mathematicians who overcame their disabilities and made great achievement to the world of mathematics. In this article, we introduce disabled mathematicians who overcome their disabilities and contributes to the development of mathematics: Nicholas Saunderson, Leonhard Euler, Lewis Carroll, Solomon Lefschetz, Louis Antoine, Gaston Maurice Julia, Lev Semenovich Pontryagin, Abraham Nemeth, John Nash, Bernard Morin, Anatoli G. Vitushkin, Lawrence W. Baggett, Norberto Salinas, Theodore John Kaczynski, Richard E. Borcherds, Dimitri Kanevsky, Hwang Yun-seong, Emmanuel Giroux, Kim In-kang, Zachary J. Battles, and Pratish Datta. As well, we classify mathematics education environments and the role education played in helping these mathematicians overcome their disabilities and other obstacles. Then, we discuss educational environmental changes in the 21st century for special mathematics education.

  • 최근 국내에서 유행하기 시작한 스키니 진(skinny jean)은 혈액순환 장애, 하복부 장기에 가해지는 압력으로 인하여 소화불량, 변비 또는 생리불순 등 여성 건강을 위협하는 의복 종류이다. 본 연구의 목적은 의복의 쾌적성을 측정할 수 있는 척도인 의복압 검사와 스키니 진의 주관적인 착용감 검사 통하여 의복의 기능적인 면에서 인체의 건강에 적합한지 분석하고자 함이다. 사이즈 코리아를 참고하여 선정한 20대 여성의 평균 사이즈에 해당하는, 인지도 높은 3개 브랜드의 청바지를 시료로 사용하여 4명의 피험자에게 착용하게 한 후, 동작을 변화시키며 변화하는 의복압을 측정하고 주관적 감각 평가를 실시하였다. 첫째, 의복압 측정결과, 엉덩이 최대 돌출 부위가 자세와 상관없이 의복압이 가장 높게 나왔고 무릎 부위 Standing 자세에서 sitting down on the floor 자세로 변할수록 의복압이 높게 나왔다. 둘째, 주관적 감각에 대한 평가 결과는 모든 자세에서 허리벨트 부위가 가장 압박감을 크게 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 의복압과 주관적 감각의 관계분석에 있어서 스키니 진의 대부분의 부위에서 의복압이 높을수록 압박감을 느끼는 것으로 나타났으나 대퇴부 부위는 의복압이 낮은데도 불구하고 압박감을 크게 느끼는 것으로 나타났다.

Disabled Alpine Ski Athlete's Kinematic Characteristic Changes by Computer Aided Design Based Mono Ski Bucket: A Case Study (컴퓨터 디자인 기반 모노스키 버킷 사용에 따른 장애인 알파인 스키 선수의 운동학적 특성 변화 연구: 사례 연구)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of CAD (Computer Aided Design) based alpine mono-ski bucket design on disabled ski athletes' kinematic characteristics. Two national team ski athletes with LW11 disabilities (Locomotion Winter Classification) category for sit ski participated in both pre and post experiment. Both of the subjects performed 3 trials of carved turn on a ski slope under two conditions. Where, subject "A" performed pre experiment with personal bucket and post experiment with the newly developed CAD based bucket whereas, Subject "B" as control subject performed both pre and post experiment with his personal bucket. For the experiment, 24 Infrared cameras were positioned on the ski slope which covered the path of the ski turn. Also, motion capture suit with reflective markers were worn by both subjects. In the result, decrement in medial/lateral displacement of COM, anterior/posterior displacement of COM, flexion/extension angle of trunk as well as velocity losing rate of COM was observed in subject "A" when using the newly developed CAD based bucket. In contrast, no larger effect on performance was observed when using personal buckets. In conclusion, the findings obtained from the study indicated effectiveness of newly developed CAD based bucket by reducing excessive movement of hip and trunk which is an important factor to perform an effective turn.

  • 시각장애자들이 음악을 듣고 음악에 대한 공부를 하기 위해서는 점자악보를 통하여서만이 가능하다. 그러나 이러한 점자악보를 만들기 위해서는 점역사를 통한 주문제작 방법 밖에는 없는 실정이다. 국내의 몇 안되는 점역사를 통해서 한곡의 점자악보를 얻기까지는 한달여의 기간과 많은 비용이 든다. 이러한 열악할 환경으로 인하여 시각장애자들이 음악을 공부하거나 전공하기에는 너무나 힘들 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 시각장애자들이 음악을 접할 수 있고 공부할 수 있도록 시간적, 비용적 측면에서 도움을 주기 위한 점자악보 생성 컴파일러에 대한 구현 내용을 기술한다. 점자악보 생성기는 기존의 컴퓨터에서 음악을 듣기위한 미디 파일을 입력으로 받아들여 점자 편집기에서 점자 변환에 사용되는 아스키 코드로 출력하여 시각장애자가 원하는 곡의 점자악보를 받는데 드는 비용과 시간을 절약할수 있도록 도와준다.
