This review focuses on the individual performance and productivity of researchers in the area of science and technology. The researchers in the paper are classified into individual inventors without organizational affiliation and researchers in the organization, which are distinguished by cosmopolitanic professionals and local institutionalists. The productivity of researchers is in general measured by different indicators or measurement scales such as: i) subjective evaluation of overall research performance, (ii) the number of published papers, reports and books, iii) the quality of research output (e.g. citation frequency), iv) originality of research ouput (e,g, patents), v) multiple measurement scales, etc. According to the literature based on empirical study, the productivity of individual reseachers is positively related to the degree of freedom, communication, diversity, dedication, and motivation and negatively related to the degree of similarity, and satisfaction. However, other factors such as creativity, age, supervisory behavior and group characteristics have shown irregular direction of correlation.

음성의 발성속도가 빠른 경우에는 발성속도가 느린 경우보다 적은 정보만으로도 부호화가 가능하다 음성의 발성속도가 빠른 경우에는 청취시 낮은 주파수 대역의 정보가 높은 주파수대역의 정보보다 중요하게 된다. 음성 부호화 기술은 전송를과 복잡도를 줄이고 음질을 향상시키는 방향으로 진행되고 있다. 현재 상용화되고 있는 CELP형 보코더는 낮은 전송를에 비해 우수한 음질을 제공하지만, 기존 방식은 음성의 발성속도에 대해서 처리를 달리하지 않고 사용하고 있다. 음성의 발성속도를 측정하여 발성속도가 빠를 경우에, 발성속도가 느린 경우보다 낮은 대역의 정보만 전송한다면 전송율을 감소시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 CELP 부호화기의 전송률 감소를 위해 발성속도를 측정하는 방법을 제안한다. LSP 파라미터가 가지고 있는 정보로 음소의 변화율을 측정하였다. 각각 다른 발성속도를 갖는 음성시료에 대하여 음소 변화율을 구한 결과 발성속도가 다른 경우, 뚜렷하게 다른 음소 변화율을 갖는 것을 알 수 있었고. 빠르게 발성한 경우가 느리게 발성한 경우보다 42.8％가 높게 나왔다.

In this paper we calculate the subgroup size necessary for detecting the change of percent defective with several detection probabilities for orginal population fraction nonconforming p, changed population fraction nonconforming $p^*$, and the ratio k=$p^*$/p in the usage of p control charts. From our calculation we can know the error level of normal a, pp.oximation in detection probability calculation and recommend the subgroup size with lower error levels of normal a, pp.oximation, and then we show the reasonable subgroup size necessary for p, $p^*$, k, and the detection probability of the change of fraction nonconforming in a process. The information that we here show in tables will be useful when p control chart users decide the subgroup size in the p control chart users decide the subgroup size in the p control chart.

The purpose of this research is to understand the relationship between children's affective empathy, their mother's cognitive and affective empathy, and children's prosocial behavior; as well as to examine ways of enhancing children's prosocial behavior by analyzing the factors affecting its development. The results of this study may be summarized as follows. First, girls generally had higher levels of empathetic ability and pro-social behavior than boys. Secondly, there was not to be no significant correlation between the children's affective empathetic ability and the mothers' cognitive and affective empathetic abilities. However, there was a significant association between the affective empathy of the children and the mothers' cognitive empathetic abilities with the children's prosocial behavior. Thirdly, both the affective empathy of the children and the mothers' cognitive empathy predicted the level of the children's prosocial behavior.

According to the importance(production ratio) of special brand eggs, poultry farma can be classified into four types(Types I to IV). A close relation can be observed between these types and farm scale. Special brand eggs used to be the speciality of small-scale, suburban poultry farms. Recently, however, the production of these eggs has been adopted by medium and large farms, too, and is increasing throughout Japan. In particular, small-scale farms specializing in these eggs have attained a high profit and take a characteristic management from as opposed to large-scale poultry farming that adopts the \"small profit and quick returns\" strategy. Because of this, the meaning of special brand egg production to farm management differs according to farm scale. For small poultry farmers, it means securing a high profitability and for medium and large producers, improving the corporate image or meeting the needs for assortment of retailers.

음성 부호화 기술은 전송률과 복잡도를 줄이고 음질을 향상시키는 방향으로 진행되고 있다. 현재 상용화되고 있는 CELP형 보코더는 낮은 전송률에 비해 우수한 음질을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 방식과 다르게 보코더 단에 입력 음성이 들어가기 앞서 전처리 기법을 수행하는 전처리단을 부가하여 전송률을 낮추는 방법을 소개하고, 소개된 방법들을 각기 비교하고 분석하고자 한다. 전처리기법들을 음성 인식이나 합성에서 사용되는 파라미터들을 적용시켰으며, 처리시간이나 계산시간에 있어 기존의 방식에서 많은 영향을 미치지 않은 간단한 알고리즘으로 구현하였다. 소개하는 전처리단에서는 기존의 코딩방식에서 사용하지 않은 파라미터들, 발성율, 지속시간, PSOLA 방식들을 이용하였다.

최근 논의되고 있는 디지털 홈 네트워크는 유무선 통신 프레임워크를 기반으로 사용자 디바이스간 다양한 정보 공유 및 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 교환의 활성화가 예상되며, 대부분의 사용자는 자신이 구입한 권한 정보를 가족 또는 친구 등과 공유 가능하게 할 수 있는 형태의 유연한 서비스를 요구하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 홈 네트워크 환경에 대해 사용자 소유의 디바이스로 구성된 도메인에서의 권한 정보 관리 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 기법은 정당한 사용자 도메인의 디바이스에 대해 보유하고 있는 권한 정보 한도 내에서 DRM 포맷에 독립적으로 해당 디바이스를 위한 권한 정보를 생성 및 기존 권한 정보의 상태 정보에 대한 업데이트를 수행하며, 이때, 사용자 디바이스의 성능을 고려하도록 하였다.

A GDHS(Geothermal District Heating System) is a heating system supplying a group of districts with heat extracted from geothermal sources. Due to various advantages of GDHS including the saving of fuel consumption as well as the reduction of air pollution, a world-wide trend is to replace central/individual heating systems with GDH systems. The basic point of this paper is that a crash program mentality leads to inappropriate decisions about policy issues in large-scale research and development like the development of GDHS, R&D funding should be viewed as a sequential decision, not a once-and-for-all choice. Hence we develop on economic feasibility assessment model based on a continuous sequential decision process for the Chejoo Island GDHS Project by modifying Roberts's model.

Block stacking, which involves the storage of unit loads in stacks within storage rows, is typically used in traditional warehouses to achieve a high space utilization at a low investment cost. In this paper, assuming that the demand size from a customer is an i.i.d. random variable, we develop a probabilistic block stacking storage model and its algorithm for a singles product, which minimizes the time-overage floor space requirement under an (s, S) inventory policy and the violation of the FIFO lot rotation rule only in a single partially-occupied row.

무선 데이터 서비스를 통한 사용자의 급속한 증가는 이동 단말의 증가 및 멀티미디어 응용이 가능한 이동 장치의 성능 증가, 높은 데이터율의 무선 액세스 기술 등 다양한 환경을 변화시켰다. 본 연구에서는 IP 이동망에서의 종단 사용자(End-User)의 서비스 보장을 위해 QoS(Quality of Service) 제어 메커니즘을 분석하여 QoS 정책 관리 구조를 제안하였다. 이 구조는 유선과 IP 이동망과의 복합적인 네트워크에서의 사용자 정책 기반 통합 지원 구조로 구성되며, 해당 자원에 대한 서비스를 구분하여 사용자 정책을 관리하며, 팀 이동망을 고려하여 단위 네트워크의 QoS 관리 서버를 중하여 종단 사용자의 QoS 정책을 관리하게 된다. 본 논문에서 제안한 구조는 종단 사용자 정책을 관리하는데 있어 응용 서비스 고유의 특성을 보장하며 사용자 정책에 따른 서비스 자원을 통함 관리할 수 있다.
