The Effect of Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction on Self-esteem of the Exercise Participants (운동 참여자의 자아존중감이 기본 심리욕구 만족에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to investigate the relation between self-esteem and satisfaction. After gathering study subjects (exercise participants) and deciding the population in 2014 in Jeonbuk city area, convenience sampling method was used to analyze the date from 278 subjects. The retrieved questionnaire in the research was analyzed in Window SPSS version 21 statistical program. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis were used to find correlations between test values. Multiple regression analysis was used to find the effects of the test values. The study results are as follows. First, the exercise participants' positive self-esteem exhibited a positive relationship with competence, relatedness, and autonomy, which are sub factors of basic psychological needs satisfaction. Also, negative self-esteem had a negative relationship with competence, relatedness, and autonomy. Second, exercise participants' self-esteem had a positive effect on competence and autonomy in positive self-esteem and a negative effect on negative self-esteem. Relatedness had a positive effect in positive self-esteem but not in negative self-esteem. Thus it is necessary to increase positive self-esteem and make various exercise programs about basic psychological needs satisfaction of the exercise participants and strategic activity guide for exercise participants participating in exercise consistently.

Effect of Clinical Nurses's Basic Psychological Need, Self-Leadership and Job Stress on Nursing Performance (임상간호사의 기본심리욕구, 셀프리더십, 직무스트레스가 간호업무 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was done to identify variables predicting of nursing performance with basic psychological need, self-leadership and job stress in clinical nurses. The participants were 160 clinical nurses, located in P city and D province in korea. Data were collected from Feb to March, 2016 by questionnaire survey. Data analysis was done by using SPSS WIN 18.0 program with independent t-test and analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression. This study shows positive correlations between nursing performance and basic psychological needs(r=.59, p<.001), autonomy(r=.31, p<.001), competency(r=.68, p<.001), relatedness(r=.48, p<.001), self-leadership(r=.58, p<.001), job stress(r=.19, p<.05). Basic psychological needs(${\beta}$=.43), self-leadership(${\beta}$=.33), job stress(${\beta}$=.21) have a 47.3%(Adj $R^2$ .473) explanatory power for the nursing performance in clinical nurses. This study confirmed that basic psychological needs, self-leadership and job stress were identified to improve nursing performance. Therefore we should develop programs in order to increase basic psychological needs and self-leadership.

Analyses of Environmental and Psychological Factors for Academic Hatred: Focusing on the Senior Students in Korean High Schools (학업반감에 영향을 미치는 환경적·심리적 영향요인 분석: 고등학교 3학년 학생을 대상으로)

  • This study is to verify relative influence of individual, parent, peer, teacher-related variables as protective factors and risk factors of academic hatred. Surveys were conducted with 1,015 (women, 57.3%) high school third grade students across eight schools where are located in Seoul, Incheon, and Geyonggi province. Correlation analysis and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were performed. The findings are summarized as follows. Teacher's academic pressure did not have significant correlation with student's basic psychological needs, teacher's autonomy support, teacher's support, and peer support whereas other variables showed significant correlation each others. The hierarchical multiple regression analysis indicated that student's individual competence and autonomy, parent's academic support, and teacher's emotional support work as protective factors and that parent's academic pressure functions as a risk factor. The effects of peer support disappeared when teacher-related factors were included. In addition, the effects of teacher's autonomy support disappeared, while the effects of teacher's support strengthened when learner's basic psychological needs were input. This study is meaningful in that it clarified academic hatred which had not been studied in other research and that it provided theoretical foundation for subsequent studies on academic hatred by examining relative influence of related variables. Lastly, it presented its limitation, implications on intervening strategies in school counseling, and suggestions for later studies.

Relationship between Core Job Characteristics and Attitude of Small Business Employees (소상공인의 핵심직무특성과 태도의 관계)

  • For certify job characteristic affecting attitude of employee, this study is to examine the relationship between core job characteristics(skill variety, task identity, task significance, autonomy, feedback) and attitude(job satisfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intention) of small business from a 'human resource management' point of view. Concretely, it is confirmed whether how influence of ore job characteristics on attitude and whether there is a moderating effect of growth needs of strength between core job characteristics and attitude of small business. The results of regression analysis using 315 domestic employees are as followings. First, it is confirmed that the skill variety and task significance has influence on job satisfaction positively, skill variety and feedback has influence on organizational commitment positively, and skill variety and feedback has influence on turnover intention negatively. Second, there is moderating effect only the relationship between task significance and turnover intention. On the basis of these study results, it suggested strategic implications to job design and business strategy for heightening attitude of small business employees.

AI Chatbot Users' Satisfaction and Intention for Continued Use : Moderating Effects of Chatbot Type and Motivations (AI 챗봇 타입과 이용동기에 따른 사용만족도 및 지속사용의도 :자기결정이론을 중심으로)

  • With a recent rise of various chatbot services, this study attempts to explore the role of chatbot users'' psychological characteristics by applying the self-determination theory. In particular,this study investigates (a) the relationship between chatbot users' psychological needs(perceived autonomy, perceived competence, perceived relatedness) and user satisfaction, continuous intention to use, and (b) the moderating effect of chatbot type and user motivations. Based upon a survey, the results revealed that perceived autonomy, competence, and relatedness had significant positive effects on user satisfaction and continuous intention to use. The results also confirmed that the user satisfaction had a significant positive effect on the continuous intention to use. The moderating effect of social and relational motivation was found between perceived autonomy, competence, relatedness and user satisfaction. The implications are discussed for furthering the development of chatbot services.

A Survey Study on the development of Omni-Wheel Drive Rider Robot with autonomous driving systems for Disabled People and Senior Citizens (자율주행 탑승용 옴니 드라이브 라이더 로봇 개발에 대한 장애인과 고령자의 욕구조사)

  • This study provides development information on Omni-Wheel Drive Rider Robot, futuristic electric scooters, with autonomous driving systems that are used for people including the disabled and senior. Also, it is meaningful in suggesting alternatives to replace motorized wheelchairs or electric scooters for the future. Prior to development of Omni-Wheel Drive Rider Robot with autonomous driving systems, it surveyed 49 people, including 18 people who own electric scooters and 31 senior people who have not. The summary of the survey is as follows. First, inconveniences during riding and exiting and short mileage due and safety driving to problems of recharging batteries are the most urgent task. For these problems, the study shows that charging time of batteries, mileage, armrests, footrests, angle of a seat are the primary considerations. Second, drivers prefer joystick over steering wheels because of convenience in one-handed driving against dangers from footrest and carriageways sloping roads, paving blocks. One-handed driving can reduce driving fatigues with automatic stop systems. Moreover, the study suggests many design factors related to navigation systems, obstacle avoidance systems, omni-wheels, automatic cover-opening systems in rainy.

  • 급격한 고령화 시대에 노년층의 사회참여욕구가 확대되고 있으나 어떻게 해야 하는지를 모르고 있어 지역사회의 사회참여 프로그램에 대한 인지도가 매우 낮고 제도나 프로그램에 대한 접근성이 제한적인 실정이다. 가족기능이 해체된 노인을 대상으로 노후 생활 지원욕구에 발맞춰 경제적지원, 취업지원, 의료지원, 여가지원 등 각종 복지 서비스를 제공함으로써 보편적이고 일상적인 생활을 영위하도록 지원하고자 많은 노력을 하고는 있으나 이를 체계적으로 실시할 수 있는 모델이 부족한 것이 현실이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 노인들의 역할 및 지위 상실로 인하여 가정에서 고립된 생활을 하는 노인을 대상으로 복지 전문가가 현장에서 비교적 손쉽게 적용할 수 있는 체계화된 모델을 제안함으로 생활스트레스 감소, 인지기능 향상, 우울증 감소, 생활만족도를 향상시키고 노인여가 문화에 대한 건전성 확산을 통해 건강한 노후생활을 영위하게 하며 문화생활 지원을 통해 사회적 비용 부담 경감을 도모함과 동시에 자존감의 고취 및 자율성을 획득하고 자아성취감과 만족감을 느끼게 하는데 있다.

Examination of the Learning Motivational Process Models Based on Self-determination theory (자기결정이론을 토대로 한 학습동기 경로 모형 검증)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine learning motivational process models, based on Self-Determination Theory(SDT) in academic settings. I examined if SDT's assumptions would fit for Korean adolescents, using a learning motivation scale(LMS), Basic Needs-autonomy, competence, and relatedness-Satisfaction Scale(BNSS), academic grades and life-quality scales, and also tried to search for the adequate motivational process models for Korean adolescents through regression analysis and structural equation model analysis. The results of this study are as follows. Basic needs satisfaction influences positively on the development of self-determinative motivation, which influences positively on academic achievement. But academic achievement and self-determinative motivation doesn't always influence on subjective well-being positively. And Korean adolescents who study autonomously or achieve good grades, are not better in a dimension of subjective well-being than others. Basic needs satisfaction while growing is more important than any other variables to improve adolescents' autonomous motivation, academic achievement and subjective life qualities.

  • COVID-19로 급부상한 메타버스는 현실 세계의 활동을 가상세계로 확장하여 접근하는 방식을 제시함으로써, 서비스 사업자들에게 현실의 자산이나 가치를 가상 공간에서 새로운 자산과 가치로 재해석하여 새로운 창조적 생태계를 선도할 수 있는 자유도와 기회를 제공하고, 사용자들에게는 이를 통해 서비스의 접근성과 지속성 및 새로운 욕구를 충족할 수 있는 기회를 제공함으로써 관심을 받게 되었다. 본 기고에서는 미래 메타버스 생태계의 새로운 기회를 제공할 DAO와 Web 3.0 관련 동향을 점검하고 탈중앙화의 미래 가능성과 문제점을 논한다.

The Moderating effects of Tenure and Achievement needs on the relationship between Job Characteristics and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (직무특성과 조직시민행동간의 관계에 대한 재직기간과 성취욕구의 조절효과에 관한 연구)

  • Organ(1988) has suggested that OCB should be considered an important component of job performance because citizenship behaviors are part of the spontaneous and innovative behaviors. Also it has been suggested that organizational characteristics may potentially explain many organizational behavior outcome variables(Hackman & Oldham, 1980). In recent years there has been a resurgence of interest in the validity of personality measures as a moderator between many variables and organizational outcome variables. This is largely due to the facts that first personality is difficult to control for promoting many organizational outcomes and next many researchers have found the moderating effects of personality(Brief & Aldag, 1975; Wanous, 1974). The purpose of this research is to test the moderating effects of tenure and growth needs on the relationships between organizational characteristics and OCB. To assess the moderating effects, the hierarchical regression procedures outlined by Cohen and Cohen(1983) were followed. On the basis of data from 698 teachers in Wonju province, results indicated that job variety has more impacts than any other independent variable on OCB like other studies. It is found that job variety and job identity have more impacts on courtesy and altruism in lower growth needs group than in higher growth needs group. Also it is resulted that job importance and autonomy have more impacts on sportsmanship in higher growth needs group than in lower growth needs group.
