Robust autopilot design for submarine vehicles (강인제어법을 통한 잠수함의 자동항법장치 설계)

  • 잠수함이 저심도 조건에서 특수임무 수행시, 표면파도 및 조류등 외란의 영향하에서 요구심도 및 위치 유지를 위한 강인한 자동항법장치 설계는, 첨단 군용 잠수함 개발에 필수적이다. 본 연구는 잠수함 조종 운동역학계에 기초하여, 정확한 심도 및 피치 운동 제어를 위해 선형 행렬 부등식을 이용한 혼합 $H_2/H_{\infty}$ 설계법을 사용, 다중 목적 함수로 표현된 잠수함의 조종성능들을 개선하였다. 또한, 제어기 설계법의 타당성을 수치 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증하였다. 결과적으로 본 제어법은 각종 외란 및 계의 불확실성하에서 잠수정의 만족스러운 과도 상태 응답과 일정 심도 유지 및 피치 각도 변동 최소화에 적합한 강인한 방법임이 검증되었다.

  • The brushless DC motor is widely being used in unmanned factories for its easy maintenance and characteristics of controllability. In this paper, we designed a speed control servo system of a sinusoidal type bmshless DC motor which has high efficiency and usefulness in the industrial fields. This servo system is realized by a controller which is required for driving motors and a new auto-tuning PI control algorithm. The DSP(Digita1 Signal Processor) is adopted as a main controller and a sensor signal processor owing to its fast computational capability and suitable architecture. Also, the hardware PWnl(Pulse Width Modulation) current controller is implemented to pursue a speed command exactly. By experimental results, it is verified that the speed response is pursued fast after command value and the steady-state response is well converged for command value variation without overshoots.

  • An automotive air conditioning assembly consists of a condenser, a compressor and an evaporator. These major components are connected with rubber hoses and aluminum pipes. Once mounted on the automotive air conditioning assembly, it is exposed to a serious vibration environment for a long time. In some cases, there are vibration cracking on the assembly. In order to solve this vibration problem, several real vibration tests are performed on the assembly of which the lay-out was optimized, in spite of sample production cost and making time. In this study, a frequency response analysis, which is a kind of finite element method of the vibration, was performed to know the characteristic of the vibration transmission on the assembly lay-out. The analysis result indicated the damping performance, which is satisfied with the vibration standard of car maker, in rubber hoses and the whole assembly.

  • 최근 모바일 메신저 챗봇 API를 이용한 서비스 시장이 활성화되고 있다. 챗봇은 대화형 인터페이스 상에서 규칙 또는 AI로 유저와의 인터랙션을 하는 서비스로 지도, 쇼핑, 금융 등의 앱들이 챗봇 안으로 흡수되어 앱이나 웹에 별도로 접속하지 않아도 된다는 이점이 있다. 챗봇에 필요한 자동응답 API는 대표적으로 텔레그램, 페이스북 메신저, 네이버 톡톡, 카카오톡과 같은 메신저 앱에서 구현 가능하다. 아직까지 카카오톡 메신저는 챗봇 구현 환경이 제한적이라는 단점이 있지만, 국내 메신저 사용시간 점유율 94%를 차지하여 유저 접근성이 뛰어나다. 따라서 이 서비스의 타겟층이 주부 및 1인 가구이므로 서비스 범위보다는 접근성을 기준으로 두고 메신저 앱을 카카오톡으로 선택했다. 본 논문은 카카오톡 자동응답 API를 이용한 대화형 서비스를 연구 및 개발하는데 중점을 두고 있다. 이 대화형 서비스는 요리에 관한 전반적인 정보를 제공하며, 서비스 이용자에게 간편한 요리환경을 제공할 수 있도록 한다. 다양한 세부 기능을 확장한다면 효율적인 대화형 서비스가 될 것으로 사료된다.

Design of an Automatic Winch System for Small Fishing Vessel (소형 어선의 자동 권양 윈치시스템 설계)

  • A small hydraulic winch system with an automatic tension control unit was designed to improve the work efficiency of coastal small vessels and the dynamic response characteristics of the winch system operated in the open loop condition was investigated. The inlet and the outlet pressures in hydraulic motor, the torque and the rotating speed of winch drum were measured as a function of time, and the behaviour in autotension mode for stepped load changes was analyzed. The results obtained are summarized as follows : 1. The developed winch system for coastal small vessels will result in better fishing with improved efficiency and lower manpower consumption by remote control of winch system. 2. The rotating delay times of winch drum for on/off operations of solenoid valve were 0.09 see at CW mode and 0.04 sec at CCW mode, respectively. After the solenoid valve was controlled, response characteristics were unstable slightly but showed good tracking behaviour over short time. 3. The driving torque of winch system in autotension mode was kept almost constant of 55.9 kgf·m, and 11.1 then the rotating speed of winch drum was kept almost constant of 5.1 rpm in the larger torque than 55.9 kgf·m and 11.1 rpm in the lower torque than that. 4. The 5% settling times in the transient response characteristics of autotension mode under rapid increasing and decreasing conditions of load were 0.12 sec and 0.2 sec, respectively, and then the rotating speeds were 11 rpm and 5.3 rpm, respectively. 5. The tracking behaviour of torque and rotating speed by remote control operation were stable within 0.23 sec at CW mode and 0.37 sec at CCW mode, respectively.

Morphology-Based Step Response Extraction and Regularized Iterative Point Spread Function Estimation & Image Restoration (수리형태학적 분석을 통한 계단응답 추출 및 반복적 정칙화 방법을 이용한 점확산함수 추정 및 영상 복원)

  • In this paper, we present morphology-based step region extraction and regularized iterative point-spread-function (PSF) estimation methods. The proposed PSF estimation method uses canny edge detector to extract the edge of the input image. We extract feasible vertical and horizontal edges using morphology analysis, such as the hit-or-miss transform. Given extracted edges we estimate the optimal step-response using flattening and normalization processes. The PSF is finally characterized by solving the equation which relates the optimal step response and the 2D isotropic PSF. We shows the restored image by the estimated PSF. The proposed algorithm can be applied a fully digital auto-focusing system without using mechanical focusing parts.

  • To implement an automatic picking system (APS) in distribution center with high precision and high dynamics, this paper presents a design of a linear induction motor (LIM) drive and robust position controller based on integral variable structure control (IVSC) scheme. The force disturbance as well as the mechanical parameter variation such as the mass and friction coefficient gives a direct influence on the position control performance of APS. To guarantee a robust control performance in the presence of such uncertainty, a robust position controller is designed. A Simulink library is developed for the LIM model from the state equation. Through this model and comparative simulation based on Matlab - Simulink, it is proved that the proposed scheme has a robust control nature and is most suitable for APS.

On a Performance Index of Automatic Steering System of Ships (선박 자동조타 시스템의 성능평가지수에 관한 고찰)

  • A performance index is very important and indispensable to the evaluation of automatic steering system of ships in open sea from the viewpoint of energy saving. In this paper, we derive the performance index of automatic steering system from the concept of energy loss of propulsive power. The index is found to consist of three terms, energy loss due to elongation of sailing distance, energy loss due to steering, and energy loss due to yawing motion. We also provide two kinds of calculation method on the performance index ; frequency response analysis and digital simulation. The numerical calculations are carried out for an ore carrier and a fishing boat by both methods. The frequency response analysis is found to be useful if the system is linear and the disturbance on ship is not large. If the system is nonlinear or the disturbance is excessive, the method of digital simulation has to be applied for the accurate evaluation of the performance index. Further investigations into the effects of nonlinear elements such as weather adjuster, power unit etc. on the performance index, will be dealt with in another paper.

Extraction of Time Coherence Using Detection of Dominant Components for Underwater Acoustic Communication Channels at East Sea (동해 연근해에서 수중통신 채널의 지배응답 검출을 통한 시간 상관도의 산출)

  • In this paper, we propose a method that estimates the channel response from underwater communication signals with MMSE (Minimun Mean Squared Error) and detects dominant components automatically based on power of response components using CFAR (Constant False Alarm Rate). Statistical characteristics are analyzed with variation of magnitude and phase and time coherence via experimental data obtained by drifting transmitter and receiver. We show that bit error rate has small difference, 1.2 times, compared with the case using every channel information estimated within data period when estimation and equalization is performed with extracted characteristic obtained by the proposed method.

  • 최근 온라인 학습의 비중이 증가함에 따라 온라인 학습 서비스의 일부인 온라인 상담 부분도 비례하여 증가하고 있으며, 많은 상담량으로 인해 상담 서비스의 품질이 저하되고 답변의 속도, 효율성도 감소하는 문제가 발생한다. 국내 교육기관에서는 서비스 개선과 사용자 맞춤형서비스를 제공하기 위해 다양한 연구를 진행하고 있으며 민원을 처리하는 챗봇 등 자동 답변 서비스 도입을 추진하고 있다. 챗봇 및 자동 답변 서비스는 서비스 제공자 입장에서 저예산으로 단순한 질문에 대하여 신속하고 효율적인 서비스를 제공할 수 있으며 서비스 이용자는 즉각적인 답변과 유사한 답변 예시를 확인함으로 질문을 빠르게 해결할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 국가 공공기관에서 제공하는 학습 서비스는 단순하고 반복적인 문의가 많고 정형적인 질의응답이 주로 등록이 되고 있다. 자동 답변 서비스는 이런 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 대안이 된다. 서비스 이용자가 등록한 문의를 기반으로 학습한 답변 서비스는 담당자의 반복된 업무처리 경감과 사용자의 답변감소, 일관된 답변처리로 서비스 품질개선에 큰 영향을 줄 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 사용자의 질문에 효율적인 답변 및 민원 처리 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 방법을 제시하며, 관리자의 업무능력 향상과 효율성을 위해 기간별 키워드 빈도수를 계산하여 Word cloud를 생성하여 제공함으로써 사용자들에게 일정 기간 내 빈도수가 높은 키워드 관련 공지 및 안내를 할 수 있도록 한다.
