  • 21세기의 인터넷은 통신기술의 진보에 따라 정보의 전달과 상업적인 거래의 플랫폼부터 점점 사람들의 생활과 밀접하게 연관된 일상적인 공간이며, 공동체를 형성하고 자기정체성을 표현하는 사회활동 공간으로 발전하고 있다. 이와 함께, 사이버 공간에서 개인화, 상호작용, 참여, 사회성 등의 특징으로 대별되는 소셜 네트워크 서비스(Social Network Service, SNS)가 전 세계적으로 확산되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존문헌 연구를 바탕으로 바람직한 SNS가 갖추어야 하는 특성(시스템특성, 서비스특성, 정보특성, 감성특성)을 도출하고 이러한 특성과 서비스 채택의도간의 관련성이 있는가를 파악하고자 하였다. 또한, SNS 특성과 서비스 채택의도간의 관련성이 개인의 성향에 따라 차이가 있는가를 검토하고자 하였다. SNS 이용자를 대상으로 설문지를 의뢰하여 통계분석을 실시한 결과, SNS 특성이 서비스 채택의도에 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있으며, SNS 특성과 서비스 채택의도간의 관련성이 개인적 성향에 따라 차이가 존재하고 있는 것으로 파악되었다.

Effects of Leader Selection Procedure and Collective Efficacy on Group Performance (리더 선출 방법과 집단 효능감이 집단수행에 미치는 영향)

  • This study expanded the superiority of random leader selection procedure on group decision-making task to actual group performance task, and examined the interaction effects of leader selection procedure(LSP) and collective efficacy(CE) on group performance. 2(LSP: formal/random)×2(CE: low/high) between subject design was used. The result revealed the significant main effect of LSP, which showed that groups with random leader performed better than those with formally selected leader. Further, significant interaction effect of LSP and CE revealed that when group's CE was high, group with random leader performed better than group with formally selected leader, and the difference between two groups was not significant when group's CE was low. These results suggested that LSP should not impair shared social identity of the group in order to maintain the positive effect of CE on group performance. The necessity for expanding these results to work team was discussed.

'Umakdaejang' and the Power of Mask ('음악대장'과 가면의 힘)

  • What is the relationship between the power of mask and the popularity of 'Umakdaejang(which means a band master in Korean)' who was one of the mask-singers in King of Masksinger? And which aspects of the contemporary Korean society were projected to this fever of Umakdaejang? This study has made efforts to answer these questions. To do this, it has examined the episodes that Umakdaejang appeared in the TV program King of Masksinger, has dealt with the origin and purpose of mask, and with the cultural meaning of the mask's concealing and revealing identity in order to understand the power of mask. Findings are as follows. Umakdaejang amplified the curiosity of his identity by displaying anonymous typicality with the mask. He also showed the resistant gestures against the forms and manners of the existing TV music programs through the way of somewhat tough, uncontrolled, and mischievous behaviors. By doing so, he exposed the desire of self-revelation. As a result, by means of its anonymity and resistance, the mask functioned as an effective apparatus being able to resist against the class polarization of the capitalist ideology. This can be viewed as the origin of the fever of Umakdaejang as well as the very power of mask itself.

Tasks of Christian Education for Developing Empathic Sensibility Ability of Women in Artificial Intelligence Era (AI시대 여성의 공감적 감성 함양을 위한 기독교교육의 과제)

  • This study is to suggest the tasks of Christian Education for developing empathic emotional ability of women in AI era through examining the meaning of empathic sensibilization and the examples of women overcoming the hardships of their times and bringing about change. Empathic sensibility is becoming a issue and empathy is emphasized in AI era. Because empathy is becoming a big support in overcoming hardships, and empathic emotion is showing human dignity, equality, service, devotion and consideration and so is forming a global community living together. And on investigation of the examples of women overcoming the hardships of their times, I found that as a woman with a sense and thought, as a historical human being, not as a gender, the tasks of Christian Education for developing empathic sensibility ability of women in AI era will be effort to be yourself, theological identity reestablishment of women and developing insight to read the times.

Principles and Methods of Multicultural Mathematics Teacher Education (다문화수학교사교육의 원리와 방법)

  • The purpose of this research is to seek for principles and methods of multicultural mathematics teacher education. It began with an overview of theories of multicultural education and of multicultural teacher education in order to address the questions of what is the goal of multicultural education and what constitutes the competence of multicultural teachers. Then, cases of multicultural mathematics teacher education were reviewed. Based on that, this research identified three domains of teacher competence: domains of affect, of cognition, and of behavior. This paper also presented what constitutes each domains of competence and how to promote the development of each type of teachers' multicultural competence. This paper discussed implications to multicultural teacher education in Korean society.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the American black film director Ryan Coogler and his cinema world. Coogler as a youth director directs three movies as (2013), (2015), (2018) from independence film to Hollywood film, and represents black people' life and racial discrimination base on his cultural identity. For this study, explore traits of esthetics, subject and context meaning by analyzing representative three movies. Lastly examines significance of his movies in Hollywood black film history. He represents blackness and self-reflection as a black youth director, and successfully succeed to the tradition of 'Black Film' in American film history. He also turn white patriarchal ideology upside down in Hollywood. He inherits the tradition of 'Black Film' in American film history, and simultaneously tries to re-write black film tradition. Youth director Coogler is a symbol of 'New Hollywood Black Film Power' at the 21th.

  • The purpose of this study is a descriptive research study conducted to investigate college life adaptation, self-directed learning, and career identity in the COVID-19 crisis situation, and to identify factors affecting career identity. The subjects of this study and data collection were from September 1 to October 31, 2021, with 197 nursing students enrolled in two universities in D and C cities. As a result of the study, the factors affecting career identity were adaptation to college life and the number of meetings with academic advisors, and It's explanatory power was 37%. Therefore, in order to improve the career identity of nursing students in the COVID-19 crisis, it is necessary to develop and apply a program to promote college life adaptation, and it is necessary for professors to build a support system through continuous encounters with students.

  • In this study, we delve into the potential for innovative cultural education techniques that utilize the timeless tales of Princess Bari and The Tale of Shim Cheong as tailored for the upcoming generations of overseas Korean learners. With a rising number of young overseas Koreans born and raised in their host countries, there emerges a pressing need to craft an educational framework that resonates with the evolving dynamics of their generation. Our endeavor revolves around proposing educational strategies that help solidify identity while carefully considering the intrinsic motivation prevalent among most overseas Koreans. Naturally, the choice of employing the classic epics Princess Bari and The Tale of Shim Cheong as educational resources was deliberate. These narratives are rich in rites of passage and offer profound insights into the transformative journey of their protagonists. Both characters are affluent women in patriarchal societies, and both embark on quests to redefine themselves through new relationships, liberating themselves from the confines of parental ties. This narrative framework provides a unique opportunity for overseas Koreans who are often adrift in the social fabric of their adopted countries. These stories inspire them to introspect and contemplate their own identities. By intertwining their personal narratives with the empowering stories of characters, students are provided a chance to reaffirm their authentic selves. Therein, a paradigm shift can occur that allows individuals to embrace the core elements that define them. Our ultimate objective was to enable students to explore their own stories and immerse themselves in the intricate narratives of classical works. This immersive experience fosters a profound sense of unity with the characters and paves the way for a comprehensive educational plan. This plan not only celebrates the hybrid nature of identity but also cultivates a deep sense of positivity within amalgamated 'subjects.' Such an approach not only fosters a stronger connection with one's heritage but also sparks a genuine curiosity about and affinity for the rich cultural tapestry of one's home country. It's not just education; it's a transformative journey that enriches the lives of overseas Koreans and nurtures a profound bond with their cultural roots.

Meaning of Student Teaching Experiences in Daycare Centers for Toddler (영아반 보육실습 체험에 대한 의미)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide a better understanding of prospective teachers' experiences during their toddler educaring practicum and what the meanings of their experiences are. A narrative study on practicum experiences was conducted with four junior students who major in early childhood education in A university in Seoul. The experiences of prospective teachers in daycare centers for toddler were diverse. Such diverse experiences allowed teachers to find the meaning of the relationship between teacher and toddler and to learn what being a teacher was like. And they showed positive changes in their attitude toward practicum and becoming toddler care and education teachers following improved understanding about the lives and development of toddlers and care-giving and teaching skills. The meaning of toddler educaring practicum was explained as building justification for existence and essential identity through continuous self-reflection, and experiencing happiness of caring and teaching toddlers. During the practice, they also learned that teachers in charge of toddlers should understand their lives, provide child friendly and stable environments, and be receptive and sensitively respond to them according to their needs and developmental levels. Student teachers realized that their role was to give loving care and to have sincere concern about the lives of toddlers.

User′s Characteristics Which have Influence on the Avatar Acceptance (사용자 특성이 아바타 수용에 미치는 영향)

  • 최근 들어 신세대들은 온라인을 통해서 아바타를 활용하여 가상공간 속에서 자신을 표현하고 있는 추세이다. 아바타는 ‘분신’, ‘화신’을 의미하는 산스크리트어로 가상공간에서 사용자의 역할을 대신하는 애니메이션 캐릭터이다. 가상공간 속에서 오프라인 상에서 표현하지 못한 자신만의 캐릭터를 통해서 자신의 정체성을 시각적으로 표현하여 개인의 개성을 표출하고 있다. 이러한 아바타의 출현으로 인터넷에서의 자기표현 방식이 외향적인 형태로 변화하는데 이는 새로운 표현에 대한 사용자의 수용도에 따라서 여러 가지 형태로 나타나고 있다. 특히, 사용자가 새로운 개념을 수용하는데 있어서 그들이 잠재적으로 보유하고 있는 특성에 따라서 아바타의 표현이 다각적으로 연출되고 활용되어지고 있다. 이는 신세대들의 자기표현 방식이 다양하기 때문이다고 할 수 있겠다. 신세대들은 또한 새로운 정보통신 기술이 매체를 통해 보급될 경우 수용도가 다른 세대에 비해 빠르다. 이렇듯 아바타의 도입과 활용은 신세대의 자기표현의 상징적인 역할을 하고 있다. 현재, 웹과 핸드폰을 통해서 2D 기반의 아바타가 활용되고 있으며, 신기술이 지속적으로 개발되고 있다. 현재 개발되어지고 있는 3D 핸드폰 아바타의 수용도에 대한 관심도도 높아질 것으로 예상된다. 현재 아바타 개발과 활용에 대한 연구는 활발히 진행되고 있지만, 이러한 신세대들의 특성에 따른 아바타의 수용에 대한 연구는 아직 정립되지 못하고 있다. 아바타의 수용에 관한 이론은 심리적 특성 이론으로 자아 존중감, 유행 선도력, 소비가치 등이 있으며, 사용자 수용 이론으로 혁신 성향, 유흥 성향 등이 있다. 이를 기반으로, 본 연구에서는 신세대 대학생들의 특성에 따라서 아바타의 수용도에 미치는 영향을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 대학생들의 특성을 심리적 특성이론과 사용자 수용이론으로 구분하여 이 특성에 따라서 향후 개발될 3D 핸드폰 아바타의 수용도의 관계를 파악하고자 한다. 본 연구에 대한 자료 수집방법은 D대학교의 교양과목인 “사이버문화의 이해와 활용”을 수강하는 학생들을 대상으로 총 170부를 설문 조사하였으며, 수집된 설문지 중에서 불성실하게 응답한 설문지 6부를 제외한 총 164부를 유효한 설문으로 확보하였다. SPSSWIN 10.0 패키지를 이용하였으며, Cronbach's Alpha값을 통한 신뢰도 분석과 요인분석을 통한 타당성 분석을 하고, 연구변수로 선정한 각 요소들의 아바타 수용도에 미치는 영향력 정도를 파악하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 심리적 특성과 사용자 수용 특성은 아바타 수용도에 부분적으로 영향을 미친다는 것 결과가 나타났다.
