  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of self-efficacy that impacts on personal goal setting.. In addition, in the process of going to achieve the goal, this study was to evaluate the role of self-regulation resources. Specifically, this paper is divided into two groups of self-regulation resources, to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and goal-setting theory. To achieve this goal, by manipulating the self-adjusting resources to target college students divided into two groups, this measured the performance of the self-efficacy and goal setting. In the test, the a mediated effect of goal setting between self-efficacy and performance was meaningful, and evidence of enhancing the self-regulatory resource by self-efficacy was found. As a result, this paper provides guideline that manages the performance by using the self-efficacy and self-regulatory resource.

The Effects of Self-management Technique on Eco-driving Behaviors (자기-관리 기법이 운전자의 에코 드라이빙 행동에 미치는 효과)

  • Eco driving is a strategy to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions from motor vehicle. However, it has not received much attention until recently. Psychological studies on this issue have been limited and the majority of existing studies have primarily been based on engineering and educational approaches. This study examined the effects of a self-management technique on two driving behaviors: speeding and putting the gears in neutral while waiting at the signal. The self-management technique consisted of three behavior interventions: goal-setting, self-monitoring, and reward. Three drivers participated in this study. An AB multiple baseline design across participants was adopted. Results showed that the self-management technique was effective in increasing both driving behaviors. Implications of the present findings and suggestions for future research were discussed.

청소년 창업 역량이 창업가적프로세스에 미치는 영향 : 기업가정신의 매개효과를 중심으로

  • 본 연구는 기업가정신 교육을 받은 청소년의 창업역량이 창업가적 프로세스에 미치는 효과를 기업가정신의 매개를 중심으로 검증하였다. 기업가정신 교육은 주식회사 슘페터 청소년 기업가정신 프로그램을 활용하여 2018년 10월부터 2018년 12월까지 특성화고등학교 1학년 학생 303명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 슘페터 기업가정신 프로그램 커리큘럼의 학습 목표 및 활동내용을 분석을 통해 다양한 키워드를 도출하여 최종적으로 11개의 변수를 채택하여 사전 사후 설문을 실시하였다. 기업가정신 교육을 통해 창업역량(창의성, 기회발견, 문제해결력) 이 높아지고 이를 통해 학생들의 창업가적 프로세스(자기효능감, 목표설정)에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 또한 청소년의 창업역량이 생기면 창업의지와 창업행동에 영향을 줄 것이라고 가정했다. 이를 바탕으로 효과적인 기업가정신 및 창업교육 활성화 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

The Effects of Social Support Perceived by Career-interrupted Women On Career Preparation Behavior: Focus on Mediating Effects of Career Decision Self-efficacy

  • This study analyzed the effects of social support and career decision self-efficacy that can have effects on career based on career-interrupted women's perception on career preparation behaviors and mediating effects of the career decision self-efficacy. This study surveyed 227 career-interrupted women who participated in job training or registered for job searching in woman employment support organizations using a self-reported type questionnaire. The results are presented: First, social support was found to have a significant correlation with career decision self-efficacy and career preparation behavior. Second, discovered that emotional support as sub-factors of social support had a significant effect on career preparation behaviors. Third, discovered that goal setting and job information as sub-factors of career decision self-efficacy had a significant effect on career preparation behaviors. Fourth, career decision self-efficacy, there was a partial mediating effect between social support and career preparation behaviors. The results presented above suggested that in respect to career guidance for career-interrupted women, a focus should be given to psychological aspects than technological.

  • This study is to search an optimal model on causal relationships of the motivations to learn and motivation strategy in chemistry education. The participants in this study are consisted of G and I high schools students (487) in Gwangju. They all answered to the questionnaire. Model I is hypothesized to be path model of the mediation between 'self-efficacy, achievement need, and entity theory of intelligence' and 'learning strategy and self-handicapping tendency of motivation strategy' by goal orientation to explore variables of study effecting the motivation strategy. And Model II is hypothesized path model of the mediation between goal orientation and 'learning strategy and self-handicapping tendency' by 'self-efficacy, achievement need, and entity theory' to explore variables of study effecting the motivation strategy. Based on these models, structural equation modeling techniques are used to evaluate for the path model among goal orientation(learning, performance approach, and performance approach goal orientation), self-efficacy, achievement need, entity theory of intelligence, self-handicapping tendency, and learning strategy in chemistry education. As the results, Model II is considered. Goodness-of-fit indexes of this model related modification models are identified and analyzed in phases.   • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the outplacement service on the career decision-making self-efficacy of discharged soldiers after mid- to long-term service. The survey carried out for this research was on 557 male discharged solders living in the Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi areas. The information was processed using frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability measurement, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis by means of the SPSSWIN 22.0 program. The results of this study suggest that counseling, education and training affect only some sub-factors of the career decision self-efficacy. Administrative support positively affects the job information collection skill, goal setting skill, planning skill, and problem solving skill among the sub-factors of the career decision self-efficacy. Job activities support had no effect on the career decision self-efficacy.

Effectiveness of a Self-management Program using Goal Setting based on a G-AP for Patients after a Stroke (뇌졸중 환자를 위한 G-AP 기반 목표설정 자기관리프로그램의 효과)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop a self-management program using goal setting for patients after a stroke. The program was based on a theory-based Goal setting and Action Planning framework (G-AP), and the effectiveness of the program was examined. Methods: A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. The experimental group (n=30) received the self-management program using goal setting based on the G-AP over 7 weeks. The education was delivered individually with a specifically designed stroke workbook. The control group (n=30) received only patient information leaflets about stroke. Results: There were significant differences between the two groups. Stroke knowledge, self-efficacy, and health behavior compliance were significantly higher (all p<.001), and hospital anxiety (p<.001) and depression (p<.001) were significantly lower in the experimental group compared to the control group. Conclusion: This self-management program using goal setting based on a G-AP was found to be useful and beneficial for patients in stroke rehabilitation settings.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 서울시 소재 과학영재교육원에서 운영하는 프로그램에서 개발된 일부 모듈들에 구현되어있는 과학탐구과정 및 사고과정의 특징이 과학영재프로그램의 목적에 따른 목표를 성취할 수 있는지를 평가하고, 과학탐구과정이나 사고과정의 각 항목을 구현한 탐구의 실제를 알기 위한 것이다. 또, 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 모듈들에 대해 반성하고 개선점을 찾으려는 것이다. 연구 참여자들은 13명이며 연구 목적을 위해 첫째, 영재교육과정 및 평가에 관한 문헌을 근거로 과학영재프로그램의 목적과 목표를 설정, 둘째, 목적과 목표를 근거로 문헌에 제시된 분석틀들을 수정 개발, 셋째, 참여자들이 각자 모듈을 1개 선정하여 분석하고 이를 수정한 후 다시 분석하여 해석, 넷째, 분석결과의 해석을 토대로 반성을 하였다. 각 단계마다 각자 해결한 내용을 공개하고 모든 참여자들이 공개된 내용에 대해 비판하면서 합의하는 과정을 거쳤다. 합의 도출에 의해 첫째, 과학영재프로그램의 목적은 '탐구적 사고과정을 함양하고 지역사회에 유익한 새로운 지식을 창출한다.', 이에 대한 목표는 '자기 주도적인 탐구 계획 능력을 향상한다.'와 '숙달된 탐구 기능을 사용하여 실제문제를 해결할 수 있다.'로 설정하였다. 둘째, 분석틀은 '과학탐구과정' 과 '사고과정'의 두 범주로 구성하였으며, '과학탐구과정'에 해당하는 항목은 '사전탐구, 탐구방법, 해석적 탐구기술, 의사소통능력, 탐구평가, 과학의 본성'으로, '사고과정'에 해당하는 항목들은 '논리적 사고, 창의적 사고'로 구성하였다. 셋째, 선정된 모듈들을 분석한 결과 모듈들은 대체로 탐구방법과 해석적 탐구기술을 많이 강조하였는데, 수정된 모듈들에서는 이 두 항목이 더욱 강조되었다. 특히, 해석적 탐구기술에서 의사소통능력, 탐구평가, 과학의 본성, 창의적 사고를 강조하는 탐구의 실제가 증가하였다. 수정후 증가된 항목들은 앞에서 설정한 두 가지 목표에 도달하는데 도움이 되는 항목들이라고 합의 선정되었던 것이므로, 이에 따라 수정 전 모듈보다 수정 후 모듈이 보다 더 영재프로그램의 목표에 도달하기에 적합한 것으로 판단하였다. 넷째, 연구결과를 토대로 반성한 점은 '목표' 에 '창의적 사고'와 '과학의 본성'에 대한 강조가 부족하다는 것, '목표'에서 '실제문제를 해결'할 수 있어야 한다는 것에 비해 '모듈'에서 다루는 주제는 '실제문제'가 아니라 학문적인 질문에 치우쳐 있다는 것, '자기 주도적인 탐구 계획 능력'을 향상시키는 탐구의 실제가 대체로 적게 제시되어 있다는 것이다. 이러한 반성을 영재프로그램의 각 모듈에서 모두 구현할 수 있는 것은 아니지만 본 연구에서 설정한 목적과 목표에 따라 프로그램을 개발하는 경우 이러한 반성점을 고려하여 모듈을 개발한다면 영재프로그램 전체적으로 볼 때는 모두 구현되어 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 서울시에 소재하는 과학영재교육원들에서 개발하여 사용하는 많은 모듈 중 극히 일부를 대상으로 하였으므로 연구 결과를 모든 과학영재프로그램에 적용하기에는 한계가 있다. 그러나 본 연구처럼 프로그램이나 모듈을 평가하려는 연구자들에게 일련의 평가단계에 대한 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

The effect of Self-leadership on empowerment, self-efficacy and innovation (셀프리더십이 조직구성원의 임파워먼트, 자기효능감 및 혁신성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between self-leadership(rehearsal, self-goal setting, self-respect) and empowerment, self-efficacy and innovation. In order to verify the relationships, data obtained from 305 employees working in Seoul were analyzed by using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 8.0. This study reports findings as follows: First, the relationship between the self-leadership(rehearsal, self-respect) and the empowerment is positively related. Second, there was also a positive correlation between the self -leadership(rehearsal, self-goal setting, self-respect) and the self-efficacy. Third, the empowerment is positively related with innovation, however self-efficacy has no correlation with innovation. Implications of these results for research and practice were discussed.

Effects of Smartphone Applications on Physical Activity in College Students: A Randomized Controlled Trial (스마트폰 걷기 어플리케이션 효과성 검증: 무선통제연구)

  • This study tested the effectiveness of commercialized smartphone apps in improving walking activities among college students. 66 participants were randomized into each of four groups that was used different behavior change strategies: monetary rewards app, goal setting and feedback app, gaming app, and self-monitoring control group. 45 participants who completed the experimentation was included in data analysis. Repeated measures ANOVA resulted in statistically significant time by groups interactions in recorded step counts, self-reported completed plans and self-reported walking activities scores. The Goal-setting and feedback group and the gaming group resulted in increase in both step counts and completed plans. The results were discussed in the framework of behaviorism.
