  • This study was conducted to examine the effects of creativity on self-directed learning ability of nursing students and to verify the mediating effects of professors' autonomy support and instructor-student interaction in the process. A survey was done on 304 nursing students attending S university located in Kwangju. The analysis on mediating effect was processed through SPSS Process Macro 4 and Bootstrapping. The results of the study showed that the creativity, professors' autonomy support and instructor-student interaction had a significant positive effect on self-directed learning ability among nursing students. The professors' autonomy support and the instructor-student interaction had significant mediating effects on the relationship between creativity and self-directed learning ability. Based on such a result, the implications and limitations of this study were presented and the educational direction for improving self-directed learning ability of nursing students was discussed.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of faculty-student interaction, Career commitment on Self-Directed Learning Ability in Later Learner's Students. The subjects of this study were 162 nursing students between the ages of 25 and 64 from 4 universities located in G metropolitan city and J province. The collected data were subjected to t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression using SPSS 24.0 program. As a result of the study, the factors influencing self-directed learning ability were in the order of career commitment, faculty-student interaction, and motivation for university entrance among, and it was found that the variables explained 29.5% of the self-directed learning ability of older nursing students. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an intervention plan that can promote self-directed learning ability by improving the level of career commitment and faculty-student interaction of older nursing students.

  • This study investigated the effects of mother's psychological control and of teacher-child interaction on young children's self-regulation. Data were collected by surveying 358 young children, their mothers and their 28 teachers. Data were analyzed with statistics using the SPSS Win 18.0 version. The study results are as follows. Mother's psychological control and teacher-child interaction had a significant effect on infant self-regulation. Between them, the child-teacher interaction had a greater effect than the mother's psychological control, affecting emotional regulation more than behavioral regulation. The study results confirmed the mother's psychological control and the interaction of the child-teacher as the variables affecting the children's self-regulation. These results highlight the necessity of continuing education on mother's discipline and teacher's interaction and development of educational program for early childhood pre-service teachers.

  • In this study, an analysis method for maglev train-guideway interaction is verified using field measurement data. The cabin and bogies of the maglev train are modeled as rigid bodies that are allowed to have heave and pitch motions. Levitation forces from the electromagnetic suspensions on the bogies are controlled using an active control algorithm. The guideway is represented using the Euler-Bernoulli beam. Considering rigorously the changes in air-gaps and material points at which the levitation forces are applied due to the pitch motions of the bogies, dynamic analysis of maglev train-guideway interaction is performed. Using field measurement data, obtained from the Incheon Airport Maglev Railway, the analysis method is verified. Accuracy of the analysis method is investigated. It is determined that the structures in the railway are designed and constructed safely according to the design code for maglev railways.

  • We have studied magnetic structure and magnetic anisotropy energy of cubic transition metal mono-oxide cluster FeO and MnO using OpenMX method based on density functional method. The calculation results show that the antiferromagnetic spin arrangement has the lowest energy for FeO and MnO due to the superexchange interactions. The magnetic anisotropy is only found for antiferromagnetically ordered FeO cluster, since occupied electron of 3d down-spin level induces the spin-orbit couplings with <111> directed angular momentum.

  • Since the variations of electromagnetic suspension forces of maglev trains have close relations with the acceleration of the levitated bodies, it is basic to control the levitation forces using the measured acceleration of vehicles. In this study, an airgap control algorithm based on acceleration feedback is applied to maglev trains and a dynamic analysis method is developed considering maglev train-guideway interaction. Using the developed method, dynamic behaviors of a maglev train-guideway interaction system are investigated. It is observed from the analysis that the current design guidelines can be satisfied when the proposed airgap control algorithm is employed. Using the contorl algorithm, the current guidelines can be improved and economical maglev railway guideway structures can be designed.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of learning motivation on interaction in online collaborative learning. The study subjects are 79 university students who take courses in teaching. Learning motivations measured the intrinsic goal orientation, extrinsic goal orientation, tasks value, control of learning beliefs, test anxiety, self-efficacy, goal orientation by MSLQ. Next, the level of interaction was measured by online collaborative tasks. The group for online cooperation tasks consisted of four to five people and random assignment. The level of interaction was used frequency and score that quantitative Value assess. The collected data were analysed using multiple regression analysis(stepwise). As a result, self-efficacy and extrinsic goal orientation, tasks value, mastery goal orientation were positive effect on frequency and score. next, test anxiety and performance avoid goal orientation were negative effect on frequency and score.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the interaction effects on academic stress of gifted student and normal student by academic self-efficacy and stress coping styles. We conducted a questionnaire survey with 100 sixth grade gifted student and 100 normal student who showed academic achievement of the same level. According to the results of this study, gifted student showed higher problem-focused coping than normal student. Both elementary gifted student and normal student, the lower academic self-efficacy and problem-focused coping, the more increased academic stress increased. In the gifted student case where the level of problem-focused coping was high, academic stress was lower when academic self-efficacy was high. Normal student's academic stress was lower when the level of problem-focused coping and academic self-efficacy was higher.

  • Double exchange interaction leads to the ferromagnetism by the direct coupling between conduction electrons and magnetic ions. The most intriguing feature of double exchange is the explicit connection of the conductivity with the magnetism, which has drawn much interest in relation to the colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) recently observed in manganese oxide compounds. In this review, we explain the basic physics of double exchange and examine the classical discussions.
