  • Explicit and closed-form expressions describing magnetic behaviors of uniaxial magnetic materials are derived. Explicit and closed-form expressions for magnetic torque, magnetization orientation, and thier derivative functions with respect to the intensity and the orientation of an applied field. Those explicit expressions could give elegant mehtods of measuring magnetic anisotropy and saturation magnetization by the least squre fitting. In addition, on could use them to study the distribution function of magnetic propeties of a non-interacting magnetic aggregate.

The Effect of Resilience in Career Decision-Making among Specialized Technical High School Students (특성화고등학교 학생의 회복탄력성이 진로결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined resilience and career decision-making among specialized technical high school students with the aim of proposing preliminary data to suggest ways to improve self-efficacy in career decision-making through establishing proper resilience. The specific research questions were set as; first, to define the resilience status in relation to the students' personal characteristics among students; second, to describe the status of self-efficacy in career decision-making related to the students' personal characteristics among students; and last, to examine the influence of resilience on self-efficacy in career decision-making among specialized technical high school students. To accomplish such research objectives, the assessment survey was developed after reviewing the theoretical literature on specialized technical high school students' background, ego identity, and self-efficacy in career decision-making. The survey was comprised of 54 items including personal characteristics (3 items), resilience (27 items), and self-efficacy in career decision-making (24 items). A total of 990 students from industrial specialized high schools across the country completed the survey, and the responses from 775 students were used for the final analyses after excluding the surveys with unanswered items or untrustworthy responses. Results were as follows: The group with higher levels of school adaptation and satisfaction showed higher resilience and career decision-making than those with lower levels of school adaptation and satisfaction. Furthermore, for the influence of resilience on self-efficacy in career decision-making, the results showed that resilience had positive associations with self-efficacy in career decision-making, and all correlations and coefficients of determination showed a robust statistical significance. Therefore, to enhance self-efficacy in career decision-making, education that could help students better adapt to school, increase satisfaction with the school, and create positive resilience must precede.

A Grounded Theory Approach on Peoples' Adaptation Experience with Fibromyalgia Syndrome (섬유근통증후군 환자의 질병 적응경험에 관한 근거이론 연구)

  • This was a qualitative study to explore and better understand the adaptation experience and processes of peoples with fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS), as well as to develop a substantive theory using the grounded theory method. There were 13 patients (12 females and 1 male) who received FMS treatment from Rheumatic Medicine outpatient department of one general hospital. The data were collected through an in-depth interview between January and May of 2014. Transcribed interview contents were analyzed by the grounded theory method of Corbin and Strauss (2008). As a result, a total of 98 concepts, 26 sub-categories, and 10 categories were identified through the open coding process. The process of adaptation experience showed 4 steps: perception of uncertainty and limited condition, evaluation of self-control possibility and determinations of expectations of life, searching and trying of strategies, as well as self-regulation. The 4 types of adaptation experience were expansionary, complacently, effusively and withering. The 'protective self-regulation' theory was derived from the core category of 'learning to self-regulation method'. Patients with FMS has repeatedly attempted these strategies of protective self-regulation in order to gain stability from uncertainty and limited condition of the disease. Based on these results, it is necessary to develop an educational program for patients and families which has appropriate nursing intervention strategies in accordance with the types of adaptation.

The Differences of Self-Validation, Regulatory Focus and Information Distortion Between Happiness and Sadness (행복감정과 슬픔감정 간의 자기타당화와 규제초점 및 정보왜곡의 차이)

  • This paper compared self-validation and regulatory focus between consumers who felt happy vs. sad prior to decision and explored the effects of self-validation on regulatory focus and information distortion. The results of empirical analysis are as follows. First, consumers who felt happy beforehand revealed larger self-validation and stronger promotion focus than those who felt sad in advance. Second, compared to sadness, just-felt happiness was found to have partially positive impact on promotion focus by means of self-validation and exercise entirely positive impact on information distortion through mediation of self-validation. This study has made theoretic contributions by identifying the differences in the extent of self-validation and promotion focus between happiness and sadness as ambient emotion felt prior to the impending decision making as well as by investigating the effects of self-validation upon information distortion.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a standardized scale to measure consumers' motivation to purchase based on a self-determination theory. A preliminary 27-item scale was developed through literature review, diary analysis, and FGI. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 1,000consumers on internet using the preliminary scale. Then a series of tests, such as test-retest, item analysis, item-to-total correlation, Cronbach's reliability coefficient, and factor analysis, were conducted using the survey data. The final scale with21 items was constructed in the end. The Purchase Motivation Scale for Consumers consisted of five factors: (1) external motivation, (2) introjected motivation, (3) identified motivation I: self-respect, (4) identified motivation II: pursuit of harmony, and (5) internal motivation.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the relationship between consumer 's self - determination psychological needs (autonomy, competence, and relevance) related to fair trade and brand equity related to fair trade products through empirical analysis. It is meaningful that it is linked to strategic brand management based on consumer need satisfaction. As a result of empirical analysis of this study, Fair Trade attitude plays an important role in the relationship between self - determination psychological desire and brand equity. Especially, Consumer need Satisfaction with competence was found to be a strategically important construct. Based on the results of this study, it is expected to provide important implications for future strategic management of brand equity related to Fair Trade products.

Effects of Individual Motivation on Turnover Intention among Social Workers : Focused on the mediation effects of multiple commitment (사회복지사의 개인적 동기가 이직의도에 미치는 영향 - 다중몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로 -)

  • This study set out to investigate the effects of individual motivation on turnover intention among social workers and examine their turnover intentions in details by focusing on the mediation effects of multiple commitment. To be specific, it aimed to propose and test a prediction model for social workers' turnover intentions based on the Self-determination Theory and Theory of Planned Behavior. For those purposes, a mail survey was taken among social workers working for use facilities, residential facilities, public health centers, social welfare foundations and associations, and all kinds of centers and institutions in 15 cities and provinces across the nation. Total 1,918 questionnaires were distributed, and 1,671 ones were returned, and 979 whose respondents expressed a turnover intention were used in final analysis. The analysis results indicate that psychological motivation of social workers had direct impacts on their turnover intention. However, their role stress had no direct impacts on their turnover intention, which suggests that the impulsive routes model for turnover intention is supported only in psychological motivation and job characteristics. Secondly, their psychological and job motivation turned out to have indirect impacts on turnover intention through the multiple commitment, which suggests that the reflective routes model for turnover intention is supported in all career, job, and organizational commitment. Career commitment had the most significant impacts on turnover intention, being followed by job commitment and organizational commitment in the order, which suggests that the social welfare academy should increase their interest in career commitment.   • 최근 모바일 기기의 활성화에 따라 M-learning (Mobile learning)이 활성화되고 있다. M-learning을 기반으로 한 코스웨어나 모듈 설계 시 학습자의 적극적 참여와 의미 있는 상호작용의 기회 제공과 실제적 환경에서의 교육활동을 지원하는 것에 초점을 맞추어야 한다. 근접발달영역이론 (Zone of Proximal Development : ZPD)이란 독자적으로 문제를 해결함으로써 결정되는 실제적 발달수준과 성인의 안내나 보다 능력 있는 또래들과 협동하여 문제를 해결함으로써 결정되는 잠재적 발달수준간의 거리이다. 한편, 스캐폴딩은 학습자의 근접발달영역을 변화시키며, 학습자가 스스로 학습할 수 있도록 도와주는 구체적인 방식이라 할 수 있다. 또한 스캐폴딩 (Scaffolding)은 학습자가 구조를 조직하고 새로운 지식을 구성하도록 교수자 또는 촉진자가 도와주면서 교수자와 학습자간에 상호작용하는 과정이다. 본 연구에서는 근접발달영역이론을 이용하여 모바일로 교사가 학습자에게 스캐폴딩을 제공하는 수업모형을 제안한다. 본 모형의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문제해결을 위한 스캐폴딩만이 아니라 문제 해결 후 격려 스캐폴딩을 제공하여 학습력 강화가 이뤄지도록 하였다. 둘째, 교사와 학습자 사이에 다양한 스캐폴딩을 제공하여 상호작용을 강화하였다. 셋째, 자신에게 맞는 개별학습, 반복 학습이 가능하고 자기 주도적 학습이 강화되도록 하였다.

일본에서의 조례위헌소송과 합헌적 한정해석의 법리

  • 2007년 일본최고 재판소는 히로시마시 폭주족 추방조례사건에 대하여 헌법판단 회피의 이론에 입각한 합헌적 한정해석론에 따라 합헌결정 판결을 내렸다. 이는 기존의 판결내용을 답습한 것에 불과 하였지만 합헌적 한정해석이라는 헌법해석의 방법론에 관한 의미를 한번 되새기는 계기가 된 사건이다. 이 법리에 의한 것으로는 1980년대의 청소년보호조례사건이 유명하다. 이 두 사건은 하나는 공안사건이고 다른 하나는 풍속에 관한 사건이라는 점에서 차이가 있다. 폭주족 추방조례사건은 합헌적 한정해석의 법리가 적용될 여지가 있다고 보이지만 청소년보호조례사건과 같은 풍속에 관한 사건에서는 이 법리를 적용하는 것은 무리라고 생각된다. 왜냐하면 청소년보호조례사건에서는 음행, 난잡한 성행위라는 너무나 막연하고 애매한 개념을 사용하고 있어 형사절차에서의 대 원칙인 죄형법정주의에 위배될 소지가 있으며 성적 자기결정의 자유를 규제할 때에는 이에 따른 필연적인 이유가 존재해야 함에도 그렇지 못하다는 문제점과 일반국민에게 지나친 심리적 위축을 초래할 수 있다는 점에서 위헌논란이 제기되었다. 그럼에도 일본 최고재판소는 이를 합헌적 한정해석의 법리를 원용하여 위헌선언하기를 꺼려온 바 이는 헌법판단회피를 의도적으로 하는 것으로 지나친 사법소극주의적 태도라고 하지 않을 수 없다. 법원은 사건의 중대성이나 위헌상태의 정도 그 파급효과의 범위, 구체적 사건에서 문제가 되고 있는 권리의 성질등을 종합적으로 고려해서 충분히 이유가 있다고 판단되는 경우에는 헌법판단회피의 준칙에 따르지 않아야 하며 헌법판단을 적극적으로 할 수 있다고 해석하는 것이 타당하다고 생각된다.

  • Magneto-optical disks with dielectric layers for optical tunning are useful for maximizing the SNR. We have developed a computer program based on characteristic matrix to investigate the best combination of the film thicknesses. We have optimized the thicknesses of the multilayers which were composed of TbFeCo, dielectric, and AI layers at the wavelengh of 830nm. The criterion for the optimization of the film thickness was to maximize the figure of merit with maintaining the low ellipticity and rmre than 10% reflectivity.
