대부분의 일반 정보 검색 시스템은 색인어를 통해 이루어지는데 이런 경우 사용자는 원하는 정보를 얻기 위해 데이터베이스에 저장된 색인어를 정확하게 입력해야 한다. 그러나 일반 사용자가 필요한 색인어를 정확하게 입력하기는 어렵고 특히 원하는 정보가 전문분야의 것일 때는 더욱 그러하다. 따라서 특정 분야의 용어들을 중심으로 전문용어를 관리할 수 있는 시스템의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 정보기술 분야도 빠르게 성장하고 있는 전문분야의 하나로 사용되는 대부분의 단어가 영어이고 한글 표기 또한 다양하여 많은 사용자들이 원하는 정보를 정확하게 찾지 못하고 있다. 이렇듯 단어간의 형태적인 불일치로 인해 생기는 정보 검색의 문제를 해결하고 검색어의 범위를 확장하기 위해 만든 것이 전문용어 검색 시스템이다. 정보 검색시 사용자가 입력한 검색어뿐만 아니라 동의어나 상위어, 하위어까지 검색하여 질의를 확장함으로써 검색 효율을 높일 수 있다. 또한 객체-관계형 데이터베이스로 설계하여 검색이 용이하고, 새로운 단어의 확장이 용이하도록 그 구조를 설계하였다. 제안한 시스템은 메인 메모리 DBMS 를 이용하여 전자상거래와 같이 많은 사용자들이 동시에 접근하는 환경에서도 빠른 검색 성능을 유지할 수 있도록 하였다.

정보통신 기술의 발달로 일반기업체 뿐만 아니라 공공기관 등 행정업무가 필요한 곳에서는 대부분 웹사이트를 통해 사용자에게 원하는 정보를 제공해 주고 있다. 그러므로 대부분의 상업용 사이트들은 사용자에게 보다 편리하게 정보를 제공해 주기 위하여 다양한 정보검색의 접근 방법을 사용하고 있다. 그러나 현재 교육행정의 업무처리 분야에서 정보제공은 웹사이트의 단순 키워드검색을 통하여 사용자가 직접 정보를 찾는 방식으로 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 자연어처리를 사용한 교육행정의 질의응답시스템을 제안한다. 사용자 질의의 의도를 분석하여 기본사전과 매칭한 후에 추출된 사용자 질의정보를 통해 자동으로 정답 데이터뷰를 생성하여 사용자 의도에 알맞는 정확한 정답을 제공하도록 하였다. 또한 동적인 FAQ 관리기능인 히스토리를 통해서 한번 질의한 정답을 신속히 제공하도록 하였다. 제안한 시스템의 효용성을 검증하기 위해 교육행정정보를 제공하는 간단한 질의응답시스템을 구현하여 적용해본 결과 일반 키워드 검색에서보다 정확하게 정답을 제공해 주는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

This paper proposes a context gathering system that obtains user's environment information from sensor and generates user's context profile. To design the system, we classify context and design context model based on traditional context-aware computing. The proposed system supports contexts adaptation service by gathering user's environment characteristics and biological characteristics and generating user profile.

북한을 개혁 개방하려면 우선시 되어야 하는 것이 정보의 공개이다. '정보'는 북한을 세계인이 알 수 있어야 한다. 북한은 정보측면에서 폐쇄적이어서 일반 정보도 공개되지 못하고 있다. 그래서 우리가 쉽게 범할 수 있는 우로서 단편적인 것은 전체를 속단한다는 것이다. 그러므로 가능한 많은 정보를 통하여 북한을 접근해야 진정한 협력이 이루어진다. 북한이 국제기구(UN)의 일원이 되려면 국내 일반 정보를 대외에 공개하기 위한 표준을 이해해야 한다. 그리고 민족 통일이 되려면 선행되어야 하는 것이 남북 상호간에 정보(방송 통신)의 표준으로 통합해야 한다.

본 논문은 의미적 정보처리에서 걸림돌이 되는 두문자어(Acronym)의 의미처리를 위한 전체적인 구조설계를 포함하고 있다. 두문자어는 일반적으로 복합어에서 의미가 큰 단어의 첫 번째 문자들로 구성된다. 두문자어를 구성하는 복합어는 다른 일반 명사들과 달리 대부분 고유한 의미를 갖고 있기 때문에 정보처리에서 의미 파악의 핵심적인 역할을 수행할 수 있다. 본 논문은 문서에서 출현하는 두문자어의 정확한 의미를 판단하기 위한 방법을 제안하며 현재까지 진행된 결과에 대해 언급하도록 한다.

2020년 1월 국내에 신종 코로나 바이러스의 확산으로 인해 보건 마스크의 수요가 급증하고 이에 따라 마스크의 가격이 폭등하자 정부가 건강보험정보를 기반으로 보건용 마스크 판매에 관여하는 공적 마스크 5부제를 시행해 왔다. 하지만 건강보험 가입정보에 의존적인 신원 인증 시스템으로 인해 유학생 등 건강보험 미가입자의 경우 마스크의 구입이 어렵고 개인정보 접근 문제 등으로 판매채널의 확장이 어려운 문제가 있었다. 본 논문에서는 건강보험과 같은 특정 신원정보 시스템에 의존하지 않고 중앙기관이 발행하는 신뢰할 수 있는 모든 신원정보(여권, 외국인등록증 등)에 기반하여 사용자가 스스로 자신의 신원정보 속성을 블록체인을 통해 관리하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 제안 방법에 대해 디지털신원 기법을 평가할 수 있는 지표를 기반으로 자체 평가를 수행한다.

The purpose of the research is to investigate general citizens' information needs, seeking and uses about both disaster and health information in the middle of disaster of COVID-19 pandemic: what kinds of information they need, what kinds of information sources they use, which channels and media they use to learn the information, etc. To achieve the goal, the study conducted an online survey for general citizens over the age of 20. The survey is composed of 45 questions including four topics-demographic characteristics, information seeking behavior on both disaster and health, and the roles of public information organizations such as libraries in the middle of disaster. On the basis of the results, the research discusses and suggests that what kinds of information should be supplied and in what manners, and which media or information systems should be used when the governments or public organizations provide the information regarding disaster and health, and what roles public information organizations such as libraries should play in the middle of disaster.

컴퓨터의 발달과 더불어 최근 자연언어 처리 분야의 일부에서는 일반 문서들(human-readable text)을 전자 문서(machine-readable text)화 하려는 노력이 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 연구 중 대표적인 것으로 사전을 전자문서화된 형태로 바꾸는 작업을 들 수 있는데, 외국에서는 이미 10여년 전부터 이에 관한 연구가 꾸준히 진행되어 결실을 맺고 있다. 이에 반해 우리나라에는 아직 이에 견줄만한, 나아가 표준화할 만한 전자사전이 아직 개발되어 있지 않은 상황이다. 따라서 본고에서는, 일반 사전을 전자사전화 하기 위한 정형화된 논리적 구조를 검토해 보기로 한다.

최근 인터넷 및 컴퓨터의 사용이 활발해짐에 따라 문서의 디지털화가 빠르게 진행되고 있다. 이런 변화에 따라 수학식이 많이 사용되는 과학, 공학, 수학 등의 분야와 관련된 문서들을 검색해야할 필요성이 늘어가고 있다. 그러나 현재 일반 검색엔진은 텍스트 검색만을 제공하며 별도의 수학식 검색은 제공하지 않는다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 수학식 검색이 가능하도록 수학식의 색인 방법 및 랭킹 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 색인 방법은 MathML로 입력되는 수학식을 후위 표기법과 일반 색인 방법의 두 가지로 색인하며, 언어모델을 사용하여 질의에 적합한 수학식을 랭킹한다. 일반 검색 엔진의 성능과 비교하기 위하여 2-포아송 모델과 제안 모델을 비교하였으며, 그 결과 제안 모델의 성능이 더 우수함을 보였다.
