New EDI Developments in the Era of Electronic Commerce (전자상거래시대에 있어 전자문서교환(EDI)의 새로운 발전방향에 관한 소고)

  • 운송에 필요한 각종 서류와 정보의 효율적 교환은 국제물류시스템의 중요한 일부분이 되었다. 또한 EDI(전자문서교환)는 수출입에 필요한 각종 상거래 서식을 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 표준화된 전자문서의 형태로 바꾸어 교환함으로써 무역절차의 간소화와 운송서류의 신속한 교환을 가능하게 하여 물류 효율성을 증대시키는 것으로 알려져있다. 이러한 맥락에서 세계각국의 항만당국은 자국의 물류혁신을 도모하기 위하여 경쟁력으로 EDI의 도입을 추진해왔다. 그러나 90년대에 들어 EDI의 발전은 처음의 기대와는 달리 저조한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 크게 두가지로 설명된다. 첫째는 EDI 문서의 국제표준을 제정하는 UN/ECE 산하 WP4의 표준제정 미 공표의 비효율성으로 인해 실제 상거래에서 필요한 문서들의 EDI 표준화가 제때에 이루어지지 않았다는 점이다. 두 번째 이유는 대부분의 EDI 사용자가 전자문서의 교환통로로 이용해 왔던 부가가치통신망(VAN)서비스의 고비용적인 구조로 인하여 비용에 민감한 중소규모 화주들의 폭넓은 이용을 저해왔다는 점이다. 따라서 본고에서는 EDI의 확산을 저해했던 두가지 문제점에 입각하여 먼저 효율적 EDI 표준 제공을 위한 국제적 노력의 산물인 CEFACT(Center for Facilitation of Procedures and practices for Administration Commerce and Transport))와 보다 안전하고 신뢰성 있는 전자상거래 솔류션의 마련을 위해 이루어진 각종 국제기구들의 활동 및 결과물들을 소개하고 다음으로 인터넷의 급속한 확산으로 새롭게 개발되고 있는 Web-based EDI, XML/EDI, Simpl-EDI, Form-based EDI 그리고 Lite-EDI의 저비용적 구조 측면을 분석하여 중소규모화주들의 EDI에 대한 인식을 제고시킴으로써 EDI의 전반적인 확산을 도모하고 있다.

Design and Implementation of MPEG-4 Streaming System with Prioritized Adaptive Transport (우선순위화 기반 적응형 전송 기능을 가진 MPEG-4 스트리밍 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • To provide high-quality media streaming service over the best-effort Internet, a streaming methodology is required to response to the dynamic fluctuation of underlying networks. In this paper, we implement the MPEG-4 streaming system with adaptive transport based on priorities of media packets. The implemented system is composed of the common MPEG-4 streaming components such as elementary stream provider, sync and DMIF layer, and adaptive transport module including data prioritization and FEC control. More specifically, the prioritized sync layer packets (based on object level) are delivered to the transport module and then are encoded by an adaptive FEC encoder to help reliable transport. The FEC combination is dynamically adjusted by the feedback information from the receiver. In addition, low priority packets are selectively dropped to meet the limitation of available bandwidth. The experimental results over the emulation-based testbed show that the Proposed system can mitigate the impact of network fluctuation and thus improve the quality of streaming.

  • The development of personal computers and the Internet led to changes of instructor-student and student-student relationships in design education. New resources of design education with proper materials and tools have to be offered for teaching and learning. The purpose of this research is to develop Basic Graphic Tools(BGTs) on screen that help students to practice the design principles, and to evaluate the BGTs' usability to enhance the credibility of extra tools for online design learning. The BGTs has to be developed to minimize the gap between the online and traditional classroom settings and to maximize the diverse advantage of lecture content driven from technology. Students were given certain design requirements to explore BGTs and a learning guide/performance test after the lecture to evaluate the tools. The test was performed under the e-learning program serviced by C college. This research has presented some encouraging results and raises questions toward future work: how do BGTs impact the feasibility of an online design lecture.

Adaptive Multi-stream Transmission Technique based on SPIHT Video Signal (SPIHT기반 비디오 신호의 적응적 멀티스트림 전송기법)

  • In this paper, we propose the adaptive multi stream transmission technique based on SPIHT video signal for the highest quality service over the current Internet that does not guarantee QoS. In addition to the reliable transmission of the video stream over the asynchronous packet network, the proposed approach provides the transmission using the adaptive frame pattern control and multi steam over the TCP for continuous replay. The adaptive frame pattern control makes the transmission date scalable in accordance with the client's buffer status. Apart from this, the multi stream transmission improves the efficiency of video stream, and is robust to the network jitter problem, and maximally utilizes the bandwidth of the client's. As a result of the experiment, the DR(delay ratio) in the proposed adaptive multi-stream transmission is more close to zero than in the existing signal stream transmission, which enables the best-efforts service to be implemented.

  • RTP that is proposed supplement of real-time services on internet environment, as Real-time Transport Protocol, is the protocol that for the purpose of sending data of stream type. RTP and RTCP(Real-time Transport Control Protocol) basically work at the same time, RTCP serves with state information of network at present. RTP has important properties of a transport protocol that runs on end-to-end systems and provides demultiplexing. It also offer reliability and protocol-defined flow/congestion control that transport protocol like TCP can not provides. In this paper, we look around concept and construction of Differentiated sen1ice tint run on RTP and by setting parameters of packet transfer method be used CBQ(Class-Based Queuing) for packet transfer on Differentiated service, each service queue controls properly through packet scheduling method, such as WRR(Weighted Round Robin) and PRR(Packet-by-packet Round Robin) all service classes do not experience the starvation and confirm the performance through computer simulation to achieve fairly scheduling.

Research Trends Investigation Using Text Mining Techniques: Focusing on Social Network Services (텍스트마이닝을 활용한 연구동향 분석: 소셜네트워크서비스를 중심으로)

  • The objective of this study was to examine the trends on social network services. The abstracts of 308 articles were extracted from web of science database published between 1994 and 2016. Time series analysis and topic modeling of text mining were implemented. The topic modeling results showed that the research topics were mainly 20 topics: trust, support, satisfaction model, organization governance, mobile system, internet marketing, college student effect, opinion diffusion, customer, information privacy, health care, web collaboration, method, learning effectiveness, knowledge, individual theory, child support, algorithm, media participation, and context system. The time series regression results indicated that trust, support satisfaction model, and remains of the topics were hot topics. This study also provided suggestions for future research.

  • With the advent of Ubiquitous environment, wired-wireless combination network is being studied very actively in which mobile nodes having multi-hop communication capability connect wired internet network easily, and shares the information. The study of wired and wireless combination network between MANET(Mobile Ad Hoc Network) and wired network is being focused only on the configuration of heterogeneous network interface. The proposed algorithm establishes independent multi-paths between source node and destination node to prevent data loss when errors happen in route. As the result, it shows that the reliability of the combination network can be improved by making data transmit continuously on the route error.

  • In these days, the world is getting connected to the internet like a sophisticated net, such an environment gives a suitable environment for cyber attackers, so-called cyber-terrorists. As a result, a number of cyber attacks has significantly increased and researches to find cyber attack traffics in the field of network monitoring has also been proceeding. But cyber attack traffics have been appearing in new forms in every attack making it harder to monitor. This paper suggests a method of tracking down cyber attack traffic sources by defining relational information flow of traffic data from highest cascaded and grouped relational flow. The result of applying this cyber attack source tracking method to real cyber attack traffic, was found to be reliable with quality results.

Study on Crisis Conflict Culture Communication : Focusing on Information Specificity in SNS (위기갈등문화에 대한 소통방식 연구 :SNS 메시지 구체성을 중심으로)

  • Based on the development of SNS in Mobile and Internet, crisis management is regarded as an important issue that determines the rise and fall of businesses. This study aims to contribute to more efficient implementation of crisis management messages by examining the relationship between the strategy of crisis management communication and the level of specificity of the message. The study found that consumers evaluated the crisis-hit company's acceptance communication strategy to show a higher level of integrity, reliability and appropriateness than the defensive strategy. However, this main effect is mediated by the specificity (high specificity vs. low). Specifically, consumers' assessment of crisis management messages and information-seeking behavior were found to be most favorable when used in a mixture of acceptance strategies and high specificity. Conversely, the lowest effect was the combination of defense strategy and high specificity. Based on these results, the theoretical discussions is described for crisis management practitioners of enterprises and organizations.

The Design of IoT Device System for Disaster Prevention using Sound Source Detection and Location Estimation Algorithm (음원탐지 및 위치 추정 알고리즘을 이용한 방재용 IoT 디바이스 시스템 설계)

  • This paper relates to an IoT device system that detects sound source and estimates the sound source location. More specifically, it is a system using a sound source direction detection device that can accurately detect the direction of a sound source by analyzing the difference of arrival time of a sound source signal collected from microphone sensors, and track the generation direction of a sound source using an IoT sensor. As a result of a performance test by generating a sound source, it was confirmed that it operates very accurately within 140dB of the acoustic detection area, within 1 second of response time, and within 1° of directional angle resolution. In the future, based on this design plan, we plan to commercialize it by improving the reliability by reflecting the artificial intelligence algorithm through big data analysis.
