Internet ethics has been simply recognized as moral understanding, knowledge of etiquette or a kind of common sense. Recently, however, rapid growth of internet dysfunction such as the inadvertent disclosure of personal information, infringement of copyright and malicious code with hacking, has unavoidably broadened the territory of internet ethics. In this light, education contents of internet ethics must include not only laws and systems but specialized knowledge on prevention and action of internet dysfunction. In this paper, we analyze the variables affecting the educational achievement on diverse domains of internet ethics by investigating internet ethics qualifying examination and afterward we suggest some application methods to strengthen the internet ethics.

This paper aims to analyze distribution structure of commercial Internet knowledge exchange markets. To that end, it has four specific study goals. First, define the type and volume of information available at the Internet knowledge exchange market as well as that of market users. Second, analyze distribution structure of the Internet knowledge exchange market. Third, identify current issues regarding infringement of intellectual property rights and conduct a survey to understand current standing of Internet knowledge exchange markets' IPR violation. Forth, assess application of Digital Rights Management(DRM) to Internet knowledge exchange markets and DRM's role in controlling unauthorized copying and illegal uses.

Internet is in rapid growth from technology to total social environment, so technical and syntax based cyber crime is evolved but also psychological and semantic based one is showing. In this paper, we analyze the cyber-crime cases announced by police, then classify it into social and technical influence. After that, we study the profiling method on psychological view point of cyber-crimes. We expect that it is possible to classify cyber-crimes into the categories rapidly and take less time to analyze and response.

Although the primary liability for online copyright infringement may fall on the individual who illegally copies, transfers, and/or distributes the copyrighted content, the issue of indirect liability for Online Service Providers (OSPS) that provide a channel for the distribution of illegal content has recently come under the spotlight. Currently, in an effort to avoid liability for indirect copyright infringement and improve their reputation, most OSPs have voluntarily applied filtering technology. Under the Copyright Act of Korea, special types of OSPS including P2P and Web-based Hard Drive (WebHard) are required to incorporate filtering technology, and may be charged with penalties if found without one. However, despite the clear need for filtering mechanisms, several arguments have been set forth that question the efficacy and appropriateness of the system. As such, this paper discusses the liability theory adopted in the US. -a leader in internet technology development-and analyzes the scope of liability and filtering related regulations in our copyright law. In addition, this paper considers the current applications of filtering as well as limits of the applied filtering technology in OSPS today. Finally, we make four suggestions to improve filtering in Korea, addressing issues such as clarifying the limits and responsibilities of OSPS, searching for cooperative solutions between copyright holders and OSPS, standardizing the filtering technology to enable compatibility among different filtering techniques, and others.

2012년 지상파 방송은 아날로그 송출을 종료하고 디지털 방송으로 전환된다. 이렇게 전환되는 지상파 디지털 방송은 무료로 누구나 시청할 수 있는 보편적 서비스를 지향하기 때문에, 케이블TV, 위성TV, IPTV 등의 다른 매체와는 달리 기술적 보호조치 없이 방송되고 있다. 또한 DTV 방송프로그램은 원본과 똑같은 화질로 개인이 쉽게 저장할 수 있고 인터넷을 통하여 누구나 쉽게 접근이 가능하기 때문에, DTV 방송프로그램의 무단복제와 인터넷을 통한 불법재배포는 큰 문제점으로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 불법 대량배포는 방송프로그램의 저작권을 심각히 침해할 뿐만 아니라, 방송사의 고품질의 방송프로그램을 제작환경을 더욱 열악하게 만들고 있다. 또한 일반 사용자는 인식하지 못하는 사이에 인터넷을 통해 불법 콘텐츠를 사용하게 되는 악순환에 빠지게 된다. 이에 본 논문은 KBS에서 추진하고 있는 여러 콘텐츠 보호 기술들을 하나의 보호 고리로 연결하는 KBS 보호기술 체계를 소개하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 KBS는 아래의 3가지 보호 기술을 개발하여 체계적으로 연결하여 적용하고 있다. 첫째, 프로그램의 저작권과 배포 정보를 나타내는 프로그램 보호신호(PPI, Program Protection Information)와 워터마크를 방송 신호에 삽입하여 수신기에서의 프로그램 보호를 추진한다, 둘째, 인터넷 OSP(Online Service Provider)와의 제휴를 통하여 콘텐츠 필터링 기술을 도입하여 프로그램 불법 업로드, 다운로드를 방지한다. 셋째, KBS 저작물 인터넷 모니터링 시스템을 개발하여 인터넷 상의 불법 프로그램 배포정보를 획득하여 불법배포가 진행되는 사이트에 보호를 요청한다.

Lannon(1994) asserted, 'Today consumer market has reached its maturity, and products gets more and more similar. So brands should be distinguished from competitors by emotional values.' Parody ads, one of advertisements appealing to emotion, would distort some original work well known to the public with its blemish or seriousness on target by imitating or exaggerating it regardless of expression styles, and announce the results to criticize the work itself or social situations or excite laughter. Such parody ads are stimulating consumers' emotion in particular and diverse methods. But This study on parody and especially parody in advertising, deals with the basic concepts of parody in advertising, as well as copyright infringement issues highlighting the different legal interpretations in American and Korean law when dealing with indiscreet cases of parody in advertising. some suggestions are made on desirable and forword-looking solutions. Different to the acceptance of parody in the American culture, Korean law was limiting in allowing parody to be used and applied.

인터넷의 시대에 들어오게 되면서 현대는 무한한 정보바다의 물결에 휩쓸려가고 있으며 이러한 경향과 더불어 멀티미디어 데이터의 양도 급격히 늘어나고 있다. 인터넷의 가장 큰 특징이자 장점인 접근 가능성은 무제한으로 어떠한 정보 컨텐츠라도 이용 가능하게 한다. 그렇지만 접근 가능성은 누구나 쉽게 디지털 정보의 복제를 가능하게 함으로써 타인의 지적 재산권에 침해를 줄 수 있게 되었다. 이를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 워터마크 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 동영상 자막 정보인 SMI 파일을 동영상 내에 숨기는 방법을 이용하여 자막 정보 및 동영상 정보의 저작권 및 무결성 보호를 하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 자막 정보를 분리, 암호화하여 동영상 내의 프레임에 삽입하는 방법을 제시한다. 동영상에 영향을 미치지 않는 각 프레임 내의 최하위 비트에 자막 정보를 삽입하여 다른 사람들이 동영상을 편집한 경우에는 자막 정보를 제공받지 못하도록 한다.

인터넷의 급속한 발달로 인해 아날로그 콘텐츠에서 디지털 콘텐츠 서비스로 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 다양한 분야에서 디지털 콘텐츠를 이용하여 오프라인 시스템을 대체하게 되었다. 하지만 디지털 콘텐츠의 특성 때문에 불법 복제 및 무단 유포의 문제점과 저작권 침해의 문제점들이 발생하게 되었다. 따라서 보안 서비스에 대한 요구사항도 급격히 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 워터마크 기술을 기반으로 인터넷 환경에서 사용자가 원하는 워터마킹을 이용하여 불법 복제를 방지함으로써 안전한 문서보안 콘텐츠를 제공하기 위한 시스템을 구현 및 설계 하였다.

The technical advancement in and the widespread expansion of use of the internet has recently led to an increase in high bandwidth multimedia data usage. This is largely due to an unfettered access to the internet. The intrinsic merit of the internet, however, brings about a side effect：multimedia date can easily be duplicated recklessly. This invokes the problem of intellectual property right violation. Focusing on this matter, multi-faceted studies are being conducted now. This paper aims to provide, by applying steganography and encryption methods into the SMIL files which supply subtitle data, the intellectual property protection of both motion picture and its subtitle data, as well as the integrity of the contents in question. In order to achieve the above goal, the authors show a particular method how to safely embed subtitle data into the given frames, after they separate subtitle data to encrypt them. By doing this, the authors suggests, the intellectual property right to the subtitle data as well as their integrity can be protected and achieved respectively. Besides, an integrity service for motion picture can be made.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how China, which is the largest consumption area of Hallyu broadcasting contents but the most illegal copy market infringe the rights of domestic broadcasters and what of the policy of regulatory authority in this illegal market. To this end, this study investigate the most common types of paths and methods of copyright infringement in the Internet and mobile multi-platform environments, and investigated how broadcasters responded to them with in-depth interviews. As a result of research, the most frequent type of infringement of rights of reproduction were to use links with web and apps and TV pads. In this regard, it was not easy to solve the problem of illegal copy in China in the way that domestic companies responded to individually, and it was very rare that the lawsuit was filed. In the future, the government will need to provide side support for Korean Wave broadcasting contents through steady monitoring as well as market research for eradication of illegal copy.
