Development and Application of a WOE-based Smart Learning System for Improving Written Problem Ability of Students with Learning Disabilities (학습장애학생의 문장제 문제 해결 능력향상을 위한 WOE기반 스마트러닝 시스템의 개발 및 적용)

  • Students with learning disabilities need special education programs. In the traditional class, those students may not be satisfied with their studies. Thus, it is important to provide individualized class for those students. Classes using smart devices may give one of the solutions for individualized class. Unlike the typical mathematical problems, written problems require students to use various cognitive strategies, mathematical reasoning, inference ability, and so on. In this sense, written problems are good tools to develop the logical minds for students with learning disabilities. In this paper, a WOE-based smart learning system is proposed to help those students develop learning abilities. The proposed system has the following characteristics. First, students can learn naturally problem-solving abilities by following the work-out examples given from experts. Second, the proposed system can invoke motivation and interests of students using attractive icons and guidance rules provided with smart phone. Third, the proposed system can provide self-directed study for those students. The proposed system is applied for some students with learning disabilities. The following results are obtained. First, the individualized study can be possible since the system can provide continuous feedbacks and level-differentiated classes. Second, students can increase written problem solving abilities with natural understanding of study contents from smart phone. Finally, satisfaction, study motivation, and self-concept of students are increased through their successful experience during study processes.

  • The main purpose of this study is to empirically examine and to develop the optimal model about an influential relationship between the types of source-based trust and knowledge sharing of local government officials. Procedural and distributive justice-based calculative trust in organization, cognition-based trust in organization, cognition-based trust in supervisor, cognition-based trust in coworkers, and emotion-based trust in coworkers were set up as independent variables of this research model, and sharing of tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge based on the knowledge content as dependent variables. The research results shows that the suitability of each model has approximate value to the required level, and that emotion-based trust in coworkers significantly affects knowledge sharing for both the individual and integrated factors in hypothetical influential relationship. This study is expected to help to enable knowledge sharing in various situations by dividing the concepts of trust that affect knowledge sharing into a few types, and deriving the influential model of knowledge sharing by types.

Analysis of Learner Perceptions in Interdisciplinary Education Curriculum: An Exploration of Modular Education Utilizing Expectancy Theory (융합학문 교육과정의 학습자 인식 분석: 기대이론을 활용한 모듈형 교육 탐구)

  • With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, there is an increasing demand for interdisciplinary studies in the realm of university education. Accordingly, this study sought to explore learners' perceived expectation factors for a modular curriculum, one of the primary strategies for curriculum revision in interdisciplinary departments, by applying the Expectation Theory. Learners' perceptions were measured pre and post during the second semester of 2022. The results confirmed that among the expectation factors, the selection factor significantly decreased after the course compared to before. Changes in the understanding and perceived difficulty level of tool utilization within the course may have influenced these results. The significance of this study lies in providing direction for curriculum revisions in interdisciplinary departments by analyzing learners' perceptions of the modular curriculum. Specifically, curriculum design should focus on reducing difficulties and cognitive burdens associated with educational tool utilization. Furthermore, considering that students' prior experience and understanding of educational tools can impact educational outcomes, it is crucial to factor these elements when designing a modular curriculum.

Longitudinal Study on Factors Affecting Older Adults' Welfare Service Utilization (노인의 노인복지서비스 이용경험에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 종단연구 -서울과 춘천 노인들을 중심으로)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the transition of elderly's welfare service utilization and to examine the factors affecting their utilization as time passed. To solve these research questions, the behavioral model presented by Andersen and Newman(1973) was applied. Using Hallym Aging Panel data consisted of 3 waves from 2003 to 2007, autoregressive modeling and regression analysis were applied for research purposes. The results of this study were as follows; (1) The experiences of welfare service utilization were increasing gradually. The complimentary service for the aged was utilized generally, but leisure service and community service were not used in common. (2) Past experience of service affected service utilization in the following times. (3) The factors affecting older adult's service utilization were different among the types of services. Nonetheless, the factors affecting continuously during the periods were found: age as predisposing factor and area as enabling factor in the complimentary service; area and existence of spouse as enabling factor in leisure service; education as predisposing factor and service cognition as enabling factor in community service. Enabling factor has affected more consistently than other factors. The results showed that special attention should be paid to balanced regional arrangement for welfare resources and the public relation considering the elderly's intellectual level.

Antecedents of Job Satisfaction and Perceived Job Performance in Public Organizations (공공기관 조직 구성원의 직무만족과 인지된 직무성과의 선행요인에 관한 실증 연구)

  • As the level of people's demand for service quality provided by public institutions increases, interest in improving organizational effectiveness of internal members is increasing. In this context, this study aims to identify the predisposing factors affecting the job satisfaction and perceived job performance of public institution members. In this study, public service motivation, work autonomy, and person-system fit were presented as antecedents to verify the organizational effectiveness, and the results were tested by regression analysis. As a result, all three antecedents have significant effects on job satisfaction and perceived job performance. Public service motivation, work autonomy has a relatively higher impact on job satisfaction. On the other hand, person-system fit has a relatively higher influence on perceived job performance. In particular, the results of this study confirmed that PSM theory is consistent with the main trends and is significant in organizations created through artificial integration. This result suggests the need to maintain the effectiveness of the public organization in the future due to the change of integration of public organizations.

  • 최근 민간사업분야에서도 GIS를 응용하려는 시도가 많아지고 있다. 몇몇 도전적인 기업들은 수년 전부터 GIS를 도입하여 주요의사결정에 활용하고 있으며, 매년 GIS 활용도를 높여가고 있다. 실제 본 연구도 경쟁이 치열한 국내 할인점 시장에서 GIS 도입을 통해 근본적인 경쟁력 확보를 희망하는 기업의 경영과제를 해결하는 것으로 시작됐다. 이러한 기업들은 지역의 특성을 단편적으로 파악하는 것에 만족하지 않고 지역별로 어떠한 전략을 수립할 것인지에 대한 해법을 요구하며, 이를 통해 새로운 수요창출을 기대하고 있다. 매출을 높이는 것은 모든 기업의 주요 경영목표이다. 이러한 점을 고려할 때 GIS를 이용한 매출예측은 기업들에 큰 의미가 있다. 특히 백화점이나 할인점 등의 점포를 운영하는 기업들에는 객관적인 경영전략을 지원하는 도구로 활용할 수 있다. 그래서 단순한 예측 수준을 뛰어 넘어 매출 향상을 위한 방안 마련까지 요구되고 있다. 기존의 GIS를 이용한 매출예측은 특정 반경 내 인문사회적 통계자료를 추출하여 통계적 방법에 의해 매출을 추정하는 과정을 통해 이뤄진다. 이는 과거의 정보를 기반으로 현재를 진단하는 효율적인 방법이다. 하지만, 어떠한 전략으로 내일을 준비해야 하는지에 대한 해법을 제시하기에는 한계가 있다. 이러한 이유로 기존방법론은 예측에 대한 통계적 설명력이 높다 하더라도 기업들의 현장업무에서 활용되지 못하고 있다. GIS를 이용한 매출예측 방법이 기업활동에 활용되려면 과거의 매출정보를 기반으로 현재를 진단하는 역할, 지역별로 차별화된 마케팅 전략 수립, 국지적 단위의 시장 진단과 매출 향상 방안 등을 지원하여야 한다. 본 연구는 매출발생이 예상되는 지역의 경계를 설정하여 상권영역을 생성하는 방법론이 핵심이다. 다시 말해 예상되는 매출 영역을 폴리곤 단위로 추출한다는 것이다. 기업들에 어느 정도의 매출이 어떤 지역에서 발생할 것인지에 대한 정보를 제공하면 지역별 매출 향상을 위한 전략 마련이 가능하다. 수치만을 제공하는 매출 예측방법과 비교하면 구체적인 마케팅 활동을 지원할 수 있는 특징이 있다. 이러한 방법론은 기업의 마케팅 활동에 실질적인 도움을 줄 것으로 판단된다.

  • Currently, Reading instruction has a problem that it's separating subject matter and emphasizing only an activities after reading. This study designed a web-based reading instruction system in which teachers, students and teacher librarians can actively participate to help students to develop the integrated reading ability. Existing reading system have been analyzed to find requirement of web-based reading instruction system. Supposed reading instruction system composed of 6 menus, reading guidance ,reading level diagnosis, book selection, reading strategy, reading presentation, reading discussion.

  • Short video applications (e.g., TikTok, YouTube shorts) are growing quickly in terms of active users and usage time. Of course, advertising industry is utilizing the app as AD channel. The current study, however, argues that the effectiveness of ADs in short video apps are not articulated well and that precise research for measuring the effect is required. In this context, this study measured the effects of storytelling ad types(reality, parody, creative) and message sensation value(high vs. low level) on story transportation. The notable finding is that when creative storytelling ad type which requires more cognitive resources than other two types meets high level of message sensation value, ad viewers could reach cognitive overload state which induced low effectiveness of ad. As its result, the effectiveness of AD reduced. More specific theoretical discussion and suggestions for advertising producers are described.

  • In this study, we attempted to provide a distinctive cognitive, emotional 'Auditory User Interface (AUI) Design Guideline' according to home appliance groups and their functions. It is an effort to apply a new design method to practical affairs to overcome the limit of GUI centered appliance design and reflect user multimodal properties by presenting a guideline possible to generate auditory signals intuitively associable with the operational functions. The reason why this study is required is because of frequent instances given rise to annoyance as not systematic application of AUI, but arbitrary mapping. This study tried to provide a useful guideline of AUI in home appliances by extracting the relations with cognitive, emotional properties of a certain device or function induced by several properties of auditory signal and showing the empirical data on the basic mechanism of such relations.

  • 소프트웨어 프로젝트는 본질적으로 모호한 요구사항, 정확하지 않은 산정과 기술의 어려움 등 많은 불확실성을 포함하고 있다. 이러한 불확실성은 프로젝트가 내부에 잠재적인 문제인 위험(Risk)을 지니고 있다는 것을 의미한다. 위험은 발생되면 프로젝트 성공에 부정적 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 따라서 이러한 위험을 사전에 예방하고 최소화하기 위한 프로세스(Process)의 정립이 필요하다. 상당수의 중소규모 조직이 이러한 위험관리의 중요성을 인지하고 있지만, 위험관리 프로세스를 정의하고 이행하는 것은 전문적인 지식을 요구한다. 따라서 특정 조직과 프로젝트에 적합한 프로세스가 안정적인 단계에 이르기 위해서는 많은 시행착오의 과정이 필요하다. 이러한 어려움 때문에 중소규모 조직에서는 쉽게 프로세스 구축을 시도하지 못하고 있다. 관련 표준과 참조모델에서도 위험관리 프로세스 영역을 포함하여 중요성을 강조하고 있지만, 상위수준의 활동목표와 수행되어야 하는 프랙티스(Practice)만을 제시하고 있는 세부적인 절차나 방법들에 대해서는 언급하지 않고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 PMBOK 과 CMMI, 그리는 기존 전문가들의 연구를 바탕으로 소프트웨어 위험관리 프로세스 프레임워크(Framework)를 개발하였다. 중소규모 조직에서는 이 프레임워크를 활용하여 규모와 프로젝트의 특성을 반영한 위험관리 프로세스를 정의하고 적용할 수 있을 것이다.
