A Study on the Reality of IoT Device and Service Information Gap in the Era of Digital Transformation (디지털 전환 시대에 IoT 기기와 서비스 정보 격차 실태 연구)

  • This study attempted to identify the information gap about Internet of Things (IoT) devices and services in the era of digital transformation. To this end, we analyzed differences in perception of predicting future issues about IoT devices and services, and analyzed differences in the need for digital technology and help in life according to perceptions and experience of using IoT devices and services. Also, the level of education and demand for education were analyzed. A survey was conducted from February 15th to March 7th, 2021 for residents in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do, and 232 respondents responded. Analysis was performed using SPSS 21.0, and all statistical values were presented as average values. The results of the study are as follows. First, the future issues of the intelligent information society according to the recognition of the intelligent information society, the help of life provided by artificial intelligence devices and services, and the need for intelligent information technology were presented. Second, the difference in Life help provided by artificial intelligence according to the recognition and use experience of artificial intelligence devices was presented. Third, the difference in life help provided by artificial intelligence according to the recognition and use experience of artificial intelligence service was presented. Fourth, the difference in necessity according to artificial intelligence technology recognition and use experience was presented. Fifth, the educational level and educational demand of the intelligent information society were investigated and presented. Through the results of this study, a suggestion for resolving the information gap in the era of digital transformation was suggested.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a framework for the introduction and evaluation of artificial intelligence (AI) services not only in general applications but also in public policies. To achieve this, the study explores AI service management and governance toolkits, providing insights into how to introduce AI services in public policies. Firstly, it offers guidelines on the direction of AI service development and what aspects to avoid. Secondly, in the development phase, it recommends using the AI governance toolkit to review content through checklists at each stage of design, development, and deployment. Thirdly, when operating AI services, it emphasizes the importance of adhering to principles related to 1) planning and design, 2) the lifecycle, 3) model construction and validation, 4) deployment and monitoring, and 5) accountability. The governance perspective of AI services is crucial for mitigating risks associated with service provision, and research in risk management aspects should be conducted. While embracing the advantages of AI, proactive measures should be taken to address limitations and risks. Efforts should be made to efficiently formulate policies using AI technology to create high value and provide meaningful societal impacts.

  • 본 논문에서는 상용 소프트웨어나 웹, 앱, 클라우드 서비스 등 다양한 IT 서비스에서 취약점이 발생하는 근본적인 원인을 알아보고 그에 대한 효과적이고 미래지향적인 대응 방안을 제안한다. 이 대응 방안은 공개된 취약점들을 학습한 인공지능 모듈을 기존의 개발환경에 도입하는 것을 통해 개발 중인 서비스의 설계 문제에 대해 즉각적인 피드백을 줌으로서 작업 효율을 높이고 피드백한 취약점의 위험도를 함께 알려줌으로 혹여 미흡했을 수 있는 개발자의 기존 보안 의식 수준을 높여서 IT 시장에 전체적으로 긍정적인 영향을 끼칠 수 있을 것이라 보여진다. 이 과정을 통해 IT 보안 관점에서 인공지능의 양면성을 바라보고 점점 발전해 가는 인공지능 기술 앞에 우리가 각추어야할 자세를 제안하고자 한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to contribute to how the advantages of artificial intelligence (AI) services and the associated limitations can be simultaneously overcome, using the keywords AI and risk management. To achieve this, two cases were introduced: (1) presenting a risk monitoring process utilizing AI and (2) introducing an operational toolkit to minimize the emerging limitations in the development and operation of AI services. Through case analysis, the following implications are proposed. First, as AI services deeply influence our lives, the process are needed to minimize the emerging limitations. Second, for effective risk management monitoring using AI, priority should be given to obtaining suitable and reliable data. Third, to overcome the limitations arising in the development and operation of AI services, the application of a risk management process at each stage of the workflow, requiring continuous monitoring, is essential. This study is a research effort on approaches to minimize limitations provided by advancing artificial intelligence (AI). It can contribute to research on risk management in the future growth and development of the related market, examining ways to mitigate limitations posed by evolving AI technologies.

  • In this thesis, we will break away from the classic DDoS response system for large-scale denial-of-service attacks that develop day by day, and effectively endure intelligent denial-of-service attacks by utilizing artificial intelligence-based technology, one of the core technologies of the 4th revolution. A possible service model development plan was proposed. That is, a method to detect denial of service attacks and minimize damage through machine learning artificial intelligence learning targeting a large amount of data collected from multiple security devices and web servers was proposed. In particular, the development of a model for using artificial intelligence technology is to detect a Western service attack by focusing on the fact that when a service denial attack occurs while repeating a certain traffic change and transmitting data in a stable flow, a different pattern of data flow is shown. Artificial intelligence technology was used. When a denial of service attack occurs, a deviation between the probability-based actual traffic and the predicted value occurs, so it is possible to respond by judging as aggressiveness data. In this paper, a service denial attack detection model was explained by analyzing data based on logs generated from security equipment or servers.

  • 인공지능이란 기계가 사람처럼 생각하고 인식하여 행동할 수 있도록 설계된 알고리즘 체계이다. IT 시장조사기관인 가트너는 2017년을 이끌 '10대 전략 기술 트렌드' 중 가장 첫 번째로 인공지능과 고급 머신 러닝을 선정하였다. 현재 인공지능의 기술은 텍사스 홀덤 대회나 바둑과 같은 전략적 의사 결정을 필요로 하는 게임에서도 뛰어난 기술을 선보이고 있으나, 한편으로는 인공지능 기술을 탑재한 자율주행차의 사고가 일어나는 민완성적인 부분이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 현재까지 진행되어온 인공지능 기술의 동향을 살펴보고 나아가 인공지능이 안정적으로 서비스가 적용될 수 있는지 알아보고자 한다.

  • 최근 코로나바이러스감염증-19(COVID-19)로 인해서 다양한 비대면 서비스가 증가하고 있는데 그 중에서 사람과 인공지능 간 의사소통하여 정보를 얻는 대화 시스템이 대표적인 서비스이다. 대화 시스템은 입력되는 단일 문장에 대한 정보만을 응답하기 때문에 이전 대화의 정보를 알기 위해서는 질문했던 내용을 다시 입력해야 하는 문제점이 있다. 이런 문제를 해결하고 대화 진행에 도움을 주기 위해서 본 논문에서는 대화 내 문장들의 다중 의도 탐지를 통한 공통 대화 주제 식별 시스템을 제안한다.

A Study on Policy Acceptance Intention to Use Artificial Intelligence-Based Public Services: Focusing on the Influence of Individual Perception & Digital Literacy Level (인공지능 기반 공공서비스 정책수용 의도에 관한 연구: 개인의 인식과 디지털 리터러시 수준이 미치는 영향을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the effect of individual perception of artificial intelligence and the level of digital literacy on the acceptance of artificial intelligence-based public services. For empirical analysis, a research model was set up based on the technology acceptance model and planned behavior theory using survey data of 2017 and analyzed through structural equations. To summarize the results of the analysis, firstly, the positive perception of individuals about artificial intelligence technology plays a role in reinforcing attitudes toward benefits and reducing concerns about public service in which artificial intelligence technology has been introduced. Secondly, the level of digital literacy reinforces both benefits and concerns about artificial intelligence technology, but it was found that the intention to use public services was reinforced through the benefits of artificial intelligence technology perceived by individuals, rather than privacy concerns about artificial intelligence technology. Thirdly, it was confirmed that the perceived benefits of individuals on artificial intelligence technology reinforced the intention to use public civil services, and privacy concerns negatively influenced the intention to use. It was confirmed that the influence of a perceived ease of use and usefulness, as opposed to privacy concerns, further reinforces the intention to use. Both citizens' positive perceptions regarding the accuracy and reliability of information provided through artificial intelligence technology and institutional complementation of responsibility for errors caused by artificial intelligence technology are strengthened, and technical problems related to privacy protection are solved.

  • 본 논문에서는 다양한 인공지능을 모듈화하고 모듈들을 서로 결합하여 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 지능형 서비스 로봇에서, 인공지능 모듈들을 라이브러리 간의 의존성을 해소하기 위한 방법 중 하나인 가상 머신의 일종인 도커(Docker)를 활용하여 컨테이너화하여 사용할 때, 인공지능 모듈 내부에서 사용하는 신경망 데이터에 해당하는 지능 모델에 대해 버전 관리를 수행하면서 클라우드 등 외부 서버를 이용하여 증강시킨 지능 모델을 공유하는 기술 개발에 대해 설명한다.

A Study on Library Service using Artificial Intelligence: Focused on North American University Libraries (인공지능(AI)을 이용한 도서관서비스 연구 - 북미 대학도서관을 중심으로 -)

  • As artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a promising future technology among the fourth industrial revolution, we are trying to apply artificial intelligence technology across all area of society, including libraries. This study investigated the effects, issues, and implications of artificial intelligence on university library services. As a research method, in-depth interviews were conducted with IT experts of university libraries in North America, and conclusions and discussion were drawn from interview results and related documents. Research results revealed that university libraries in North America were trying to build an infrastructure that facilitates information access and retrieval based on artificial intelligence systems and to provide new services in collaboration with AI research institutes in universities. This study raised issues regarding the expansion of the role of libraries and librarians, privacy, and data quality. It was also discussed that the need for re-education of university librarians to become software engineers who play a role in disseminating knowledge. In addition, this study suggested the investment for the establishment of the information system and an artificial intelligence research center in the library. The study discussed limitations of research due to changes in the research environment and suggestions for future research.
