Artificial Intelligence Service Robot Market Trend (인공지능 서비스 로봇 시장의 동향)

  • 로봇은 인공지능(AI) 기술을 비롯해 빅데이터, 센서기술, 클라우드 등 다양한 신 분야의 축적된 기술력과 노하우를 필요로 한다. 코로나 19 여파로 비대면 서비스에 대한 수요가 증가하고 정보통신기술이 발전되고 있는 가운데 청소용, 잔디 깎기, 가사용, 동반자, 엔터테인먼트 및 레저용, 노약자 및 장애인 지원 로봇 등 우리생활 주변에서도 서비스 로봇이 빠르게 도입되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근 3년간(2018.1~2020.12) 중앙지, 경제지 등 54개 언론사 기사를 빅카인즈와 데이터랩을 이용하여 서비스 로봇&인공지능을 키워드로 관계도 분석, 키워드 트렌드, 연관어 분석을 하였다. 연관어 키워드 빈도수로는 인공지능(534), LG전자(157), 드론(112), 자율주행(101), 빅데이터(81), 로보티즈(61), 사물인터넷(34) 순으로 서비스 로봇의 성장은 인공지능을 비롯한 4차 산업혁명 관련 기술과 연관성이 매우 컸다. 2016년~2020년 기간에 산업용 로봇은 1.89배 증가했으며, 서비스 로봇은 5.21배 증가하여 서비스 로봇의 수요가 다양한 분야에서 확산됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

A Trend of Artificial Intelligence in the Healthcare (헬스케어산업에서의 인공지능 활용 동향)

  • In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, how well the explosive information and data are handled and used is recognized as a problem directly related to the competitiveness of the industry. In particular, the introduction of artificial intelligence technology in the medical field can be said to have a great social impact on its use, and this research was conducted to understand the trends of artificial intelligence according to the range of use case. In this study, the application of artificial intelligence in the healthcare field is divided into four scopes, (1) hospital solutions, (2) personal health care, (3) insurance, and (4) new drug development. Based on various cases and trends in artificial intelligence technology, this study tried to give directions on how to develop artificial intelligence in Korea. In this study, we wanted to find out the use cases of artificial intelligence in various areas of healthcare industry and describe the latest issues in healthcare to help the overall medical industry. The development of artificial intelligence-based medical systems has made it easier to manage the chronic patients, increased the accuracy of cancer or disease diagnosis, and helped developing new drugs faster and more efficiently. Through this study, the medical industry we wanted to give a direction to the future development of artificial intelligence in Korea.

  • Generative artificial intelligence is currently developing rapidly and expanding industrially. The development of generative AI is expected to improve productivity in most industries. However, there is a probability for exploitation of generative AI, and cases that actually lead to crime are emerging. Compared to the fast-growing AI, there is no legislation to regulate the generative AI. In the case of Korea, the crimes and risks related to generative AI has not been clearly classified for legislation. In addition, research on the responsibility for illegal data learned by generative AI or the illegality of the generated data is insufficient in existing research. Therefore, this study attempted to classify crimes related to generative AI for domestic legislation into generative AI for target crimes, generative AI for tool crimes, and other crimes based on ECRM. Furthermore, it suggests technical countermeasures against crime and risk and measures to improve the legal system. This study is significant in that it provides realistic methods by presenting technical countermeasures based on the development stage of AI.

  • Most research in artificial intelligence (AI) has focused on the development of new algorithms. But as artificial intelligence has been spreading over many applications and gaining more attention from managers in the organization, academia has begun to understand the necessity of developing new artificial intelligence theories related to AI management. We reviewed recent studies in the field from 2015, and further analysis has been done for 785 studies chosen based on citation numbers of over 20. The results show that most studies have still been in the prototyping application phase of artificial intelligence across different industries. We conclude our study by calling for more research in the application of artificial intelligence in terms of organizational structures and project and risk management.

  • Purpose: Sequence control is widely used by being applied to manufacturing, distribution, construction, and automation in the medical industry. With the development of the fourth industry, artificial intelligence convergence technology in the control field is becoming an important factor in the industry. In particular, it is required to evaluate the safety and innovation of facilities where microprocessors and artificial intelligence are fused to existing systems and develop reliable equipment, so it is intended to develop equipment for educational purposes and drive the development of the field. Method: The self-developed all-in-one artificial intelligence controller module is a device that combines artificial intelligence capabilities with existing sequence and PLC control circuits. As the performance evaluation items of this equipment, the recognition ability of motion, voice, text, color, etc. and the stability and reliability of the circuit were evaluated. Conclusion: After designing the sequence and PLC circuit, the performance evaluation items of the integrated integrated artificial intelligence controller module were all satisfied, and there was no problem in the safety and reliability of the circuit.

  • In the fourth industrial revolution age, because of advance in the intelligence information technologies, the various roles of AI have attracted public attention. Starting with Google's Alphago, AI is now no longer a fantasized technology but a real one that can bring ripple effect in entire society. Already, AI has performed well in the medical service, legal service, and the private sector's business decision making. This study conducted an exploratory analysis on the possibilities and issues of AI-driven policy decision making in the public sector. The three research purposes are i) could AI make a policy decision in public sector?; ii) how different is AI-driven policy decision making compared to the existing methods of decision making?; and iii) what issues would be revealed by AI's policy decision making? AI-driven policy decision making is differentiated from the traditional ways of decision making in that the former is represented by rationality based on sufficient amount of information and alternatives, increased transparency and trust, more objective views for policy issues, and faster decision making process. However, there are several controversial issues regarding superiority of AI, ethics, accountability, changes in democracy, substitution of human labor in the public sector, and data usage problems for AI. Since the adoption of AI for policy decision making will be soon realized, it is necessary to take an integrative approach, considering both the positive and adverse effects, to minimize social impact.

  • Artificial intelligence itself has the value of advancing technology, and it is used in various industrial fields to enhance the added value of products and services produced in various industries. Therefore, regulations and policies related to artificial intelligence should be considered from a broader perspective. However, researchers have different understandings, and there is no agreement on how to regulate artificial intelligence. Therefore, we will examine the direction of government regulation on artificial intelligence technology in an exploratory manner. First, accountability, transparency, stability, and fairness are derived as the goals of artificial intelligence regulation, and the system itself, development process, and utilization process are set as the scope of regulation, and users and developers are subject to regulation. The academic significance of this study can be seen as analyzing the current level of artificial intelligence technology and laying the foundation for consistent discussions on artificial intelligence regulations in the future. Considering the life cycle from AI development to application, what is important is the balance of promotion policies to promote the artificial intelligence industry and regulatory policies to respond to the resulting risks. The goal of law related to artificial intelligence is to establish a system in which artificial intelligence can be accommodated in a positive direction to all participants, including developers, companies, and users.

  • In the era of the fourth industrial revolution, the importance of artificial intelligence(AI) is growing day by day, and there is no disagreement that AI education will bring great innovation in the future. Various attempts are being made to educate the topic of AI, but students who have no experience in AI education recognize AI only as a difficult target. Therefore, in this study, we analyze the changes in students' perception of AI by teaching them using AI. AI convergence education were conducted for 6th grade elementary school students, and pre and post tests were conducted in the form of AI awareness survey questionnaires which included questions such as interest in AI, changes brought by AI, and AI education. As a result, we confirm significant results that suggest the level of awareness of AI has improved through AI education in all factors. AI convergence education requires various AI convergence education programs as a form of education for social needs and future students, and hopefully a design based on this will help realize student centered education.

Development and Implementation of an Activity-Based AI Convergence Education Program for Elementary School Students (초등학생을 위한 활동중심 인공지능 융합 교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용)

  • As the core technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, AI is applied to various fields of society(e.g. politics, culture, industry, economy, etc.) and causes revolutionary changes. Students who will lead the age of AI need the ability to recognize social changes due to AI, acquire AI related knowledge and utilize AI in various situations. However, it is difficult for elementary school students to understand the concept and principles of AI. Therefore, this study developed an AI education program by selecting educational contents and methods appropriate to the level of elementary school students, and investigated the educational effects of the program by applying it to an actual educational setting. The content selected in this study is 'Social Awareness on AI', 'Understanding AI' and 'Utilizing AI', and eight content elements were selected. To help students learn AI easily and pleasantly at their level, activity-centered education, convergence of subjects and project-based learning were selected as instructional methods, and 20 sessions of education program were developed and implemented. In addition, the effects of the program were analyzed concerning 'perception on AI', 'convergent thinking', 'creative problem-solving' and 'collaboration capability', and positive changes were verified for all four aspects.
