살아있는 생명체는 세포로 구성되며 성장 분열을 통해 스스로 복제할 수 있는 능력을 지녔다. DNA 상의 변이, 즉 돌연변이는 자손의 생존과 번식에 불리하게 작용할 수 있고 이점을 줄 수 있는 양면성을 지녔다. 본 연구에서는 DNA 이중나선은 복제 주형으로 사용되기 위해서는 먼저 이중나선이 열리고 단일 가닥으로 분리되어야 한다. 이중 나선구조결합에서의 결합의 오류부분의 위치를 찾아내고 복구하는 방법을 제시한다.

현재 운영 중인 대부분의 전자연동장치에서는 시스템을 이중계로 구성하고 있다. 전자연동장치 이중계 시스템은 동작계와 대기계등으로 이중으로 구성하여 시스템의 안전성을 확보하고 있다. 이중계시스템에서는 동작계 모듈의 고장 시 고장을 검지하여 대기계로 절체 하여 계속적인 연동장치의 업무를 수행할 수 있도록 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 대기계로 절체 시 발생 할 수 있는 문제점들을 도출하고 그 문제점에 대하여 보안한 모델을 제시하고 문제점에 대한 실험을 통하여 문제점 해결에 대한 확인을 하고자 한다.

The construction of experimental greenhouses, operating test, and analysis on variation of different environment factors were conducted to provide fundamental data for design of Korean style air-inflated double-layer plastic greenhouse. The development of technology of attaching plastic to the structure and fasteners to be able to keep airtight was required in order to maintain proper static pressure in air space of double layer coverings. The insulation effect of air inflated greenhouse was better than conventional type. The temperature of arch type roof was greater about $2^{\circ}C$ than peach type roof in air inflated greenhouse. It was recommended that the plastic should be attached at the edges without clearance length in order to ease installation and raise airtightness of double layer coverings. The transmittance of arch type roof was greater than peach type in air inflated one span greenhouse. The transmittance of air inflated greenhouse was greater than conventional type due to frame ratio and distance between double layers in three span greenhouse. The condensation occurred on conventional type greenhouse was more than air inflated type. It was required to examine for a long time in order to analyze it quantitatively.

There has been a recurring call for using visual representations in textbooks to improve the teaching and learning of proportional reasoning. However, the quantity as well as quality of visual representations used in textbooks is still very limited. In this article, we analyzed visual representations presented in a Grade 6 textbook from two perspectives of proportional reasoning, multiple-batches perspective and variable-parts perspective, and discussed the potential of the double number line and the double tape diagram to help develop the idea 'things covary while something stays the same', which is critical to reason proportionally. We also classified situations that require proportional reasoning into five categories and provided ways of using the double number line and the double tape diagram for each category.

다양한 물질계의 2차원 나노구조는 그래핀과 함께 그 고유특성으로 최근 광전소자, 전자소자, 센서, 에너지 생성 및 저장과 수소에너지 생성 등의 응용으로 매우 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 특히 층상이중수산화물 (layered-double hydroxide; LDH) 2차원 나노구조는 생성의 용이성과 층상 내 금속 이온의 교환을 통한 특성의 자유로운 제어가 가능하므로 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 층상이중수산화물 화합물은 [Zn(1-x) MIII(x)(OH)2][$An-x/n{\cdot}mH2O$] (MIII = Al, Cr, Ga; An- = CO32-, Cl-, NO3-, CH3COO-) 구조로써, Brucite-type 구조 내에서 3가 양이온의 상태에 따라서 다양한 특성을 제어할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 이러한 장점으로 인해 층상이중수산화물 화합물은 촉매나, 에너지 저장, 음이온 교환 및 흡착, 화학적 촉매, 바이오 소자 등에 응용이 연구되고 있으며, 다양한 금속 산화물을 제조하기 위한 중간자 precursor로써도 연구되고 있다. 하지만, 이러한 대부분의 연구들을 통한 결과물들이 분말 및 수용액 상태로 남게 되며, 이러한 화합물의 특성을 제어하기 어려운 문제점이 있다. 더욱이 이러한 나노구조물들을 다양한 소자로 응용하기 위해서는 상용의 실리콘이나 glass 등의 기판형태의 물질상에 성장시킬 수 있어야 하며, 그러한 기판 위에서의 형상 및 특성 제어가 용이해야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실리콘 기판을 적용한 Zn기반의 층상이중 수산화물 화합물을 성장하고, 하부물질의 조성제어를 통한 층상이중수산화물 화합물의 형상제어가 가능한 기술에 관한 연구를 보고하고자 한다. 이를 위한 하부물질의 조성은 Zn와 Al을 통해 이루어지며, 기형성된 Al2O3박막을 핵형성층으로 활용한다. 이러한 방법으로 형성된 층상이중수산화물 화합물에 대해 이차전자주사현미경, 투과전자현미경 및 X-ray회절기법을 통해 구조분석을 하고, Raman 및 광발광스펙트럼 분석을 통해 광학적 분석을 시행함으로써, 층상이중수산화물이 기판상에서 형성되는 메커니즘에 관한 규명을 시행하였다. 이러한 분석연구를 통해 핵형성층의 에칭 따라 실리콘 기판상에서 성장하는 층상이 중수산화물 화합물의 형상 및 조성이 제어되는 메커니즘을 구명하였다.

A double-scattering type Compton camera which is appropriate to imaging a high-energy gamma source has been developed for nuclear material surveillance at Hanyang University. The double-scattering type Compton camera can provide high imaging resolution; however, it has disadvantage of relatively low imaging sensitivity than existing single-scattering type Compton camera. In this study, we introduce a novel concept of a dual-mode Compton camera which incorporates two different types of Compton camera, i.e., single- and double-scattering type. The dual-mode Compton camera can operate high-resolution mode and high-sensitivity mode in a single system. To maximize its performance, the geometrical configuration was optimized by using Geant4 Monte Carlo simulation toolkit. In terms of imaging sensitivity, high-sensitivity mode had higher sensitivity than high-resolution mode up to 100 times while high imaging resolution of the double-scattering Compton camera was maintained.

In this paper, A high selective dual-band bandpass filter was proposed using a dual-mode ring resonator with two short-circuited stubs. For dual-mode resonance, the ring resonator is directly connected with non-orthogonal feed-lines via coupling capacitors. Two short-circuited stubs which are unequal lengths are simultaneously placed at two corners along the two symmetry plane of the ring resonator in order to obtain dual-band responses. Because the feeding angle perturbated ring resonator of the proposed dual-band bandpass filter has the symmetrical structure, Even/Odd mode analysis can be well applied to extract the scattering parameters and transmission zero frequencies. The proposed dual-band bandpass filter was designed and fabricated for WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) application of IEEE 802.11n standard. The measured results showed a good agreement with the simulation results, and it should be well applied not only for WLAN applications but also for any other communication systems.

A study for the structural strength evaluation on the doubler plate subjected to the biaxial in-plane compression has been performed through the systematic evaluation process. In order to estimate the proper static strength of doubler plate, elasto-plastic large deflection analysis is introduced including the contact effect between main plate and doubler. The characteristics of stiffness and strength variation are discussed based on their results. A1so, in order to compare the doubler structure with the original strength of main plate without doubler, a simple formula for the evaluation of the equivalent flat plate thickness is derived based on the additional series analysis of flat plate structure. Using this derived equation, the thickness change of a equivalent flat plate is analyzed according to the variation of various design parameters of doubler plate and some design guides are suggested in order to maintain the original strength of main plate without doubler reinforcement. Finally, correlation between derived equivalent flat plate formula and the developed buckling strength formulas by author et a1. is discovered and these relations are formulated for the future development of simple strength evaluation formula of doubler plate structure.

In order determine potential correlations of multicultural family's male spouses' bicultural stress and communication with their marital satisfaction, this study surveyed male spouses of foreign female participants in a variety of multicultural family assistance programs available at national marital immigrants assistance centers and healthy family assistance centers of Korea, The results of this survey can be summed up as follows: First, with regard to subordinate categories of bicultural stress, it was found that cultural shock (M= 4.32) scored the highest mean points in bicultural stress, while perceived hostility scored the lowest mean points in bicultural stress, where the higher points indicate the higher bicultural stress. Secondly, in terms of cultural adaptation stress, it was found that the group exposed to higher cultural adaptation stress felt more satisfied at marital life. Thirdly, with regard to communication with foreign female spouses, it was found that frequently communicating group had higher marital stability. Finally, it was found that communication worked as a mediator in potential effects of bicultural stress on marital satisfaction.

For mass and volume reduction, input demultiplxer and output multiplexer of satellite transponder widely adopt dual-mode waveguide filters fer channel filters. Generally, channel filters of the input demultiplexer are doubly terminated and channel filters of manifold output multiplexer should be singly terminated fur correct operation. This paper gives a tuning method using short-ended dummy cavity for dual-mode cavity filters. Tuning is based on the match of the computed and measured phase response of reflection coefficient. This proposed method is applied to 4-pole dual-mode doubly terminated elliptic response filter and 6-pole dual-mode singly terminated elliptic response filter for demonstration of this new tuning method. It is shown that this method shows good agreement between the experimental and computed results.
