Accuracy Analysis of Cadastral Control Points Surveying using VRS case by Jinju city parts (가상기지국을 활용한 지적기준점 관측 정확도 분석 -진주시 일원을 중심으로-)

  • After development of GPS in the 1960's, the United States released SA(Selective Availability) in 2000 and then the GPS has become commercialized to the present. The result of repeatedly developed GPS observation, the GPS real-time observation methods is RTK which basically always needs two base stations and has a fault of the accuracy decreasing as the distance between a mobile station and a receiver is increasing. Because of these weakness, VRS method has come out. VRS(Virtual Reference Station) generates the imaginary point near mobile station from several observatory datum of GPS, sets the accurate location of mobile station, thus shows high reliability and mobility. Now, the cadastral datum point is used with azimuth, repetition, and graphical traversing method for traverse network. The result of measurement indicates many problems because of different accomplishment interval given point, restrictions on the length of the conductor, many errors on the observations. So, this study did comparative analysis of the cadastral datum points through VRS method by Continuously Operating Reference Station. Through the above comparative analysis, The comparative result between surveyed result with repetition method through total station observed Cadastral Control Points and surveyed result with VRS-RTK has shown that average error of x-axis is -0.08m, average error of y-axis, +0.07m and average distance error is +0.11m.

  • In this paper, a view point tracking system has been realized for outdoor augmented reality including broad area monitoring. Since the surroundings of the moving view point are changing, it is necessary to track the position and observation moment of the view point system for consistency between real and virtual images. For this reason, the GPS(Global Positioning System) is applied to the realized system for tracking the information on position and direction of the moving system. In addition, an optical position tracking system that is able to track view point in a limited area is used, because the local tracking system has to trace the image variation, seen to the observer in a moving vehicle, at a particular position and time. It was found that the realized outdoor augmented reality system, which combined the virtual information tracked in real time with the real image, can be very practical in various application area.

The Parametrization and Structure Analysis for a Perspective Silhouette of a Canal Surface (Canal 곡면의 투시 윤곽곡선의 매개변수화 및 구조 분석)

  • We present an efficient and robust algorithm to parametrize a perspective silhouette curve of a canal surface. We also detect each connected component of the silhouette. A canal surface is an envelope surface of a moving sphere with varying radii, which is defined by the center trajectory C(t) and radius function r(t) of the moving sphere. A canal surface can be decomposed to a set of characteristic circles. We derive the equations for the silhouette points on each characteristic circle, then parameterize the silhouette curve by using the equation. The sphere $S(t_*)$ with center point $C(t_*)$ and radius $r(t_*)$ intersects with the canal surface at a characteristic circle $K(t_*)$. The perspective silhouette of the sphere $S(t_*)$ from given view point consists of a circle $Q(t_*)$. By finding the values of t at which K(t) and Q(t) tangentially intersect, we detect each connected component of the silhouette curve.

Extracting Silhouettes of a Polyhedral Model from a Curved Viewpoint Trajectory (곡선 궤적의 이동 관측점에 대한 다면체 모델의 윤곽선 추출)

  • The fast extraction of the silhouettes of a model is very useful for many applications in computer graphics and animation. In this paper, we present an efficient algorithm to compute a sequence of perspective silhouettes for a polyhedral model from a moving viewpoint. The viewpoint is assumed to move along a trajectory q(t), which is a space curve of a time parameter t. Then, we can compute the time-intervals for each edge of the model to be contained in the silhouette by two major computations: (i) intersecting q(t) with two planes and (ii) a number of dot products. If q(t) is a curve of degree n, then there are at most of n + 1 time-intervals for an edge to be in a silhouette. For each time point $t_i$ we can extract silhouette edges by searching the intervals containing $t_i$ among the computed intervals. For the efficient search, we propose two kinds of data structures for storing the intervals: an interval tree and an array. Our algorithm can be easily extended to compute the parallel silhouettes with minor modifications.

별을 이용한 저궤도 광학 위성의 탑재체 영상 품질 측정 지표 및 자세 기동 연구

  • 이 연구는 별 관측을 통해 점 퍼짐 함수(PSF)를 측정하고 나이퀴스트 주파수에서 변조 전달 함수(MTF)을 계산하여 주파수 영역에서 저궤도 광학 위성의 영상품질 평가방법을 도출하였다. 가상 별 영상을 생성하고 IRAF로 2차원의 점 퍼짐 함수를 얻었고 MATLAB으로 점 퍼짐 함수를 2차원 푸리에 변환하여 변조 전달함수를 계산하였다. 공간 영역에서는 점 퍼짐 함수의 모양을 통해서도 영상품질을 검증할 수 있다. Along/Across-Track의 모양이 일치하고 중심에서 좌우대칭이며 델타함수에 가까울수록 좋은 품질의 영상을 의미한다. Along/Across-Track의 점 퍼짐 함수 모양차이는 Line Rate나 Time Delay and Integration(TDI)의 오차에서 기인한다. 별을 점광원으로 본다면 점 퍼짐 함수를 정의하기 쉽고 Along/Across 방향을 동시에 측정 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 궤도상에서 별을 관측하는 것은 지상을 관측하는 것보다 대기 환경의 효과가 크지 않기 때문에 영상 품질 평가에 유리하다. Yaw Steering이나 Nadir Pointing과 같은 자세제어의 효과를 배제할 수 있으므로 자세제어의 효과가 상당 부분 제거된 영상품질을 분석할 수 있다. 지상관측시간이나 배터리 충전시간이 아닌 지구 본영에서 별을 관측하므로 임무에 방해받지 않는다. 지상관측과 같은 효과를 내고 TDI를 사용하는 환경을 구현하기위해 Line Rate를 고려한 자세 기동 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 큰 각도의 자세 기동이 예상되어 쿼터니안을 이용하여 Inertial Pointing하도록 자세 제어하였고, 자세 Slew Rate 구속조건 하에서 제어가 필요하다.

  • 본 연구는 GPS를 이용하여 위성 영상의 입체 해석으로 산출된 SPOT영상의 기준점 및 수치 표고 모형의 평가에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 삼각점 및 상시관측소를 고정으로 한 GPS 해석을 수행하였으며 정지측량과 이동측량의 정확도를 비교함으로써 위성 영상의 기준점과 수치 표고 모형의 평가를 위한 측량 방법을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, SPOT영상의 해상력을 고려할 때, 이동 GPS측량기법으로도 수치 표고 모형의 정확도 평가가 가능하였으며, 기준점 좌표 산출에 있어서 고정점에 삼각점 대신 상시관측점들을 사용함으로써 경제적인 GPS 측량을 꾀할 수 있었다.

  • This paper is designed to put forth a proposal for configuration of an optimized observation network based on GNSS CORS with a view to continued monitoring of crustal deformation in the East-Asian region. For this purpose, a comprehensive analysis of the results of the testing of various forms of GNSS CORS observation network tentatively constructed based on the Asia-Pacific IGS station has confirmed that geometrically arranged minimum five and ten or more reference points and an EAREF, constructed with a baseline length no longer than 2,500km, can produce an optimum outcome. And an EAREF-applied analysis on the effects of the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake of March 2011 shows that there were conspicuous positional movements in Japan and Korea while there was no significant movement in other regions.

PHOTOMETRIC STUDY OF CONTACY BINARY AW UMa (접촉쌍성 AW UMa의 측광학적 연구)

  • BVRI observatins of AW UMa were made from March to April during 13 nights in 1994 using the 35cm Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope of Department of Astronomy and Space Science, Chungbuk National University. A total of 1092 observations (273 in B, 273 in V, 273 in R, 273 in I) were obtained. We constructed the light curves of BVRI with these observations. The one time of primary minimum light of JD Hel 2449456.1502 and the two times of secondary minimum light of JD Hel 2449456.1502 and JD Hel 2449447.1567 were determined from our observations. Orbital period change of -0.d00000394 was determined from O-C diagram which was constructed with collected times of minimum lights. Mass transfer rate of $-6.4\times10^{-7}M_\odot/year$ was derived using the period changing ratio. It is suggested that the inhomogeneous distribution of transferred matter around the secondary component would produce the irregular light variation of the AW UMa system.

  • 능동 카메라에서 배경과 물체가 모두 움직이는 영상에서 이동물체를 검출하여 추적하기 위해 특징점을 추출하고 특징점을 이용해 영상 좌표계 변환 파라미터를 추정하여 카메라의 Ego-motion을 보정한다. 보정된 영상을 이용하여 움직이는 물체를 검출하고 잡음이 있는 관측영역에서 CONDENSATION 알고리즘을 이용하여 이동물체를 추정하는 실험을 수행한 내용의 논문이다.

Statistical interpolation of meteorological data (기상자료의 통계내삽)

  • Statistical interpolation which uses past experience about the behaviour of the atmosphere(correlation function) to interpolate the observations irregularly distributed in space and time to regular grids is discussed. Correlation functions are computed in the Far East Asian region during the winter periods of December 1977 to February 1980. Results show from the computation of correlation functions that there exists a large difference in the autocorrelation functions by slowly decreasing geopotential height and temperature, and rapidly decreasing wind and mixing ratio with increasing data-correlation functions between geopotential height and wind are well corresponed to persistence of wintertime synoptic features.
