  • 상대적으로 사하중에 비해서 활하중 영향이 민감하게 작용하는 농업시설의 경우, 경제성 및 안정성에 근거한 구조설계를 위해서는 활하중의 결정요인의 정확한 분석을 통한 합리적인 설계하중의 산정이 필요하다. 단위적설 중량은 적설심에 따른 구분을 사용한다면 대부분 적설심 50cm 이하의 범위에 속하기 때문에 일률적으로 1.0kg/cm/$m^2$ 을 적용해야 하지만, 정확한 적설하중 산정을 위해서 기온에 따른 단위 적설중량의 변화를 분석할 필요가 있다. (중략)

  • 최근 노후한 기존 구조물의 교체 및 건물 증축으로 인하여, 도심지 내 공사 현장 및 주변 지반에 매설된 지중 배관은 차량 이동 하중 및 건설 장비 하중 등의 진동에 노출이 되어있는 실정이다. 이러한 장비하중이 매설배관에 미치는 영향을 분석, 예측하기 위하여 실증 실험 결과를 토대로 모델을 검증하고 수치해석을 수행하였다. 그 결과 최대 발생 응력은 외관은 $270^{\circ}$에서, 내관은 $180^{\circ}$에서 발생 하였으며, 이는 폴리우레탄 보온재의 하중 분산 효과로 설명 할 수 있다.

  • Presented herein are the results of a laboratory study on structural loads (icing weight and wind loads) associated with icing formation on rigidly fixed, circular power-transmission cables and cylinders. The experiments were carried out using movable wind tunnel under two different conditions: refrigerated and non-refrigerated conditions. Temporal evolution of icing loads were determined in the refrigerated laboratory and wind loads for icings at several stages of icing formation were measured in the non-refrigerated laboratory.

  • The influences of high speed train on the dynamic responses of steel composite railway bridges are investigated. The bridge system which has two I-girder and several cross beams is modeled with plate and frame elements. With assumption of concrete slabs are fully connected with steel girders, the offset between slabs and girders is modeled using constraint equation. The track system is modeled using beams on elastic foundation theory. And, the TGV train model is developed in 2-dimension considering bouncing and pitching motion. And braking action of vehicle is considered using speed dependent braking function. To investigate the behavior of bridges due to moving trains, parametric studies on the variation of natural frequency of bridge, speed parameter, vehicle modeling method, braking action of train, etc are performed.

  • The system such as railway bridge can be modelled as the restrained beam with intermediate supports. This kind of structures are subject to the moving load, which has a great effect on dynamic stresses and can cause sever motions, especially at high velocities. Therefore, to analyze the dynamic characteristics of the system due to the moving load is very important. In this paper, the governing equation of motion of a restrained beam subjected to the moving load is derived by using the Hamilton's principle. The orthogonal polynomial functions, which are trial functions and satisfying the geometric and dynamic boundary conditions, are obtained through simple procedure. The dynamic response of the system subjected to the moving loads is obtained by using the Galerkin's method and the numerical time integration technique. The numerical tests for various constraint, velocity and boundary conditions were preformed. Furthermore, the effects of mass of the moving load are studied in detail.

Damage Assessment of Steel Box-girder Bridge using Neural Networks (신경망을 이용한 강박스거더교의 손상평가)

  • Damages of a steel box girder bridge are detected using neural networks. Damage detection using neural networks has increasing momentum in structural engineering. It is a new effort to overcome the limitations of the conventional analytical approaches and applied to the damage detection of a steel box-girder bridge. Data sets for training neural networks are obtained from the acceleration response of the bridge under moving load. Finite element model is first defined and damages of 5, 10, 15 and 20% are assumed in the model. Not only the trained damages but untrained damages are detected in the assessment stage. The untrained damages can be detected with acceptable errors. Because the number of damaged locations are limited to a few parts, more researches are needed to put this technique into practice.

  • The suspension bridge is divided by an earth anchor and a self-anchor type according to the anchorage type. This study is to evaluate the dynamic effect of moving vehicles to suspension bridges. The results were presented with the dynamic magnification factor (DMF) by the effect of vehicle speed and weight according to the anchorage type. The vehicle model has 6 degrees of freedom to idealize nonlinear multi-leaf suspensions and elastic tires of tractor-trailer. The bridge was modelled with the 3-dimensional frame element and 3-dimensional elastic catenary cable element. The condition of deck surface is considered using the actual road spectra.

  • Today, many studies are progressed about source of vibration oscillator in reinforcement concrete structures. Source of vibration oscillator is load when it is happen from walking inhabitant. It is transmitted to another inhabitant through reinforcement concrete plate, and it is type of elastic wave. Those descriptions are ram wave and primary wave, secondary wave, and the are through the surface and inside plate. Analysis studies of those waves are used to piezoelectric materials. But, they are difficult to 3 axial type of transmitting elastic wave in concrete element. In this study, a fundamental study for source estimations of vibration oscillator using micro accelerometer are discussed.
