A Migration Technique for Autonomous Mobile Agents in Dynamic Environments (동적 환경에 적합한 자율 이동 에이전트의 이주 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a migration technique for autonomous mobile agents suitable to dynamic environments. The proposed migration technique dynamically creates the itinerary of agents that considers states of networks and systems. In the migration of the agent, it first sends prefetching message to the next system. The system receives necessary data for migration in advance. Through this, we reduce the amount of the sending data and save the time for creating the instance of the agent. And it improves the execution efficiency by using the checkpoint-based recovery method that does not execute the agent again and recovers the process states even though the errors take place. To show superiority of the proposed technique, we compare the proposed method with the existing methods through various simulations.

Location Generalization of Moving Objects for the Extraction of Significant Patterns (의미 패턴 추출을 위한 이동 객체의 위치 일반화)

  • In order to provide the optimal location based services such as the optimal moving path search or the scheduling pattern prediction, the extraction of significant moving pattern which is considered the temporal and spatial properties of the location-based historical data of the moving objects is essential. In this paper, for the extraction of significant moving pattern we propose the location generalization method which translates the location attributes of moving object into the spatial scope information based on $R^*$-tree for more efficient patterning the continuous changes of the location of moving objects and for indexing to the 2-dimensional spatial scope. The proposed method generates the moving sequences which is satisfied the constraints of the time interval between the spatial scopes using the generalized spatial data, and extracts the significant moving patterns using them. And it can be an efficient method for the temporal pattern mining or the analysis of moving transition of the moving objects to provide the optimal location based services.

  • 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서는 무선 단말기 사용자의 이동에 따른 접속 단절 현상이 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서 끊김없는 핸드오프와 효율적인 호 수락 제어를 지원하기 위해서 사용자의 이동성 예측이 중요하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 사용자의 이동성을 규칙적인 패턴과 임의적인 패턴으로 분류하고, 규칙적인 이동패턴을 예측하기 위하여 사용자의 과거 이동 경로를 분석하며 임의적인 이동패턴은 GPS의 정보를 이용하여 이동성을 예측한다. 이러한 예측 기법은 무선 단말기 사용자의 속도가 매우 빠르거나, 셀룰러망의 셀의 크기가 작은 경우에 보다 효율적으로 이동성을 예측할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.

Performance Analysis of Energy-Efficiency of Non-Coherent Cooperative Relays for Wireless Sensor Networks (센서 네트워크기반 협동 릴레이의 에너지 효율성 분석)

  • The capacity criteria have been proposed in order to select a cooperative relay node in WSNs, under the environment where direct path has a poor link gain. This process may ensure the efficiency improvement of signal transfer between source and destination and reduction of energy consumption as well. Two criteria are incorporated to select a cooperative relay node. Firstly, calculate the energy gain ratio between the relay path and the direct path. These are defined as the ratio between the energy factors of 1/g and 1/B. Each stands for an inverse of direct path gain and relay path gain. Secondly, investigate the effects of relay node's usage in WSNs through the simulation in terms of energy consumption. In conclusion, using a selected cooperative relay node based on the selected criteria is effective in terms of both energy efficiency and capacity of WSNs especially when direct path gain is relatively low.

  • GIS(Geographical Information System)의 네트워크는 실세계의 도로망, 전기망, 상하수도관 등을 표현한다.[4] 우리는 네트워크 분석 기능 중 자원 할당과 입지설정과 관련된 기능들의 Gothic 시스템에서 구현하였다. 자원 할당 문제는 네트워크 상에 자원을 공급하는 공급지와 자원이 이동하는 경로, 그리고 자원의 수요지가 존재할 때, 공급지의 자원 공급 능력과, 자원의 이동 비용, 그리고 자원의 수요량과의 연관관계를 고려하여 자원이 할당되는 지역을 설정해 주는 문제이다. 입지 설정 문제는 자원을 공급하는 서비스 센터의 위치를 결정해 준다. 센터의 위치는 인구로 대표되는 소비자의 분포와 이동 비용에 의해 결정된다. 입지 설정은 어떤 지점의 인구 밀집도를 분석해 주는 포텐셜(potential) 함수[3]와, 소비자들의 이동을 최소화시킬 수 있는 센터의 위치를 설정해 주는 두 기능으로 구성된다. 센터의 위치를 설정해 주는 문제는 높은 계산 량을 요구하므로, 본 시스템에서는 네트워크 클러스터링을 이용하여 연산의 양을 줄이는 Approximation 기법을 사용하였다.

Characteristics of Seasonal Sediment Transport in Haeundae Beach (표층퇴적물 및 표사수지에 의한 해운대 해수욕장의 계절별 표사 이동특성)

  • The sediment transport by waves, wave-induced current and tidal current was calculated using the TRANSPOR2004, then the seasonal sediment budget was analyzed. Also, annual sediment budget was calculated, and sediment circulation patterns was deduced in the broad area including Haeundae beach. A sediment mainly inflows from the east coast of the beach and then moves to the eastward to the Dongback Is, where the 80% of inflow sediment transported to the eastward as a longshore sediment while 20% of them going out to the offshore at the center of the beach. Above results shows a good agreement with the sediment transport trend analysis results by the Gao model.

  • Spatial information and smart phone technology have made innovative improvement of daily life. Spatial and geographic information are in practice for various applications. Especially, spatial information along with information and telecommunication technology could create new contents for providing services for convenient daily life. Spatial information technology, recently, is not only for acquiring location and attribute data but also providing tools to extract information and knowledge systematically for decision making. Various indoor applications have emerged in accordance with demands on daily GIS(Geographic information system). This paper aims for applying spatial information technology to support decision-making in shopping. The main contents include product database, optimal path search, shopping time expectation, automatic housekeeping book generation and analysis. Especially for foods, function to analyze information of the nutrition facts could help to improve dietary pattern and well-being. In addition, this system is expected to provide information for preventing overconsumption and impulse purchase could help economical and effective purchase pattern by analyzing propensity to consume.

Comparison of Plantar Foot Pressure and Shift of COP among Level walking, Stairs and Slope Climbing (평지 보행 그리고 계단과 경사로 오르기 동안 압력중심 이동경로 및 족저압 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the shift of COP pathway and the plantar foot pressure among level walking and stairs and ramp climbing in young and elderly people. Plantar foot pressure was measured by MatScan system(Tekscan, USA). Statistical analysis was used One-way ANOVA to know the characteristics of peak plantar pressure during walking with different the facilities. In young adults, COP pathway during stairs climbing was slightly shorten and trended to abduct at forefoot. COP pathway during ramp climbing was also shorten but trend to adduct at forefoot. Peak plantar pressure of 2-3 metatarsal head and heel during ramp climbing was more decreased than level walking. In elderly people, COP pathway during stairs climbing was more shorten and abducted than leve walking and COP pathway during ramp climbing was more unstable than level walking. Peak plantar pressure of first metatarsal head increased at stair climbing and decreased at ramp climbing. That of second metatarsal head and heel was more decreased at ramp climbing. Conclusionally, Peak plantar pressures of each foot region generally increased and more changed during ramp climbing.

LSTM-based Particulate Matter prediction for efficient road scattering dust removal path proposal (효율적인 도로 비산먼지 제거 경로 제안을 위한 LSTM 기반 미세먼지 예측)

  • 1급 발암물질인 미세먼지 중 44.3%를 차지하고 있는 도로 비산먼지는 효과적인 미세먼지 농도 저감 대책의 방안 중 하나이다. 도로 비산먼지 제거는 일반적으로 특수 차량을 이용, 정해진 경로와 주기에 따라 운행된다. 이러한 운행방식은 도로의 오염 현황에 따른 효과적 경로 선정 및 운영이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 도로 비산먼지 제거의 효율적인 경로 제안을 위해 대구지역에 분포된 KISTI 이동형 도시센싱 테스트베드에서 수집되는 고해상도의 실시간 지역별 오염 현황 데이터를 활용하여 실시간 오염도를 분석하고, LSTM(LONG SHORT-TERM MEMORY) 알고리즘을 활용하여 미래의 미세먼지 농도를 예측하였다. 기존 연구와 달리 지역별 상황을 고려한 데이터를 사용하여 선형 회귀 분석을 수행하였다. 실험 결과, 시간 속성을 고려한 LSTM이 MLP 보다 평균 제곱근 오차 값이 경우에 따라 최대 30% 더 작음을 확인했다. 본 연구를 기반으로 고해상도 사물 데이터 기반 예측 연구의 가능성을 보였으며, 미세먼지 예측 결과를 활용 유연하고 효과적인 도로 청소차량의 운행 경로를 설정에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Analyzing Exceptions for Embedded System Software Development using Aspect Oriented Programming (임베디드 시스템 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 관점지향프로그래밍 방식의 예외원인분석)

  • When an unexpected software exception arises, we programmers are to analyze what causes it. Precisely speaking, we need to analyze the cause and property of the unexpected exception. But if exceptions arise irregularly from unknown causes, it is even more difficult for us to handle them, especially in embedded system like mobile phone software development. In this paper, we propose a debugger-friendly analyzing method for exceptions using aspect oriented programming technique. What we need to know upon arising exceptions is the function call history in order to identify the reason for the exceptions. Since programmers used to spend their debugging time on unidentified exceptions, which arise irregularly our method would greatly improve the embedded software development productivity.
