  • In this research, we analyzed the effect of environmental friendliness on consumer's purchase intention with an energy saving product. We found that the economic benefit, easy to use and environmental friendliness have significant positive(+) effects on environmental friendliness of the energy saving product. We also found that the effects of economic benefit and environmental friendliness differ by the level of consumer's environmental consciousness. Consumers with high level of the environmental consciousness are less sensitive on the change of the economic benefit and more sensitive on the change of the environmental friendliness than consumers with low level of the environmental consciousness. The results of this research imply that when planning a marketing strategy for an environmental friendly product it is important to emphasis the economic benefit to consumers with low level of the environmental consciousness while it is important to emphasis the environmental friendliness to consumers with high level of the environmental consciousness.

As the past, the present and the future are not independent realities, but co-exist in the human consciousness, the 'experience' and the 'expectation' are used as two essential conceptual tools which explain the mechanism of operation of the consciousness of time. The man anticipates the future based on the experience updated in the present, and chooses a present action and feels an emotion according to the expectation. The consciousness of time is extended to the symbolic instrument of time and the dominant vision of the world in the process of the socialization. The role of the consciousness of time in television communication is analyzed in both genres of information and fiction based on the media characteristics of television. The information and the fiction genres oppose to each other according to their relationships to the reality, but it turned out that their effects of communication such as enjoyment and novelty depends in common on the way of using the televiewer's consciousness of time.

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the relationships between workplace spirituality, job turnover intentions, and job satisfaction in supporters for the disabled. The study was conducted with 134 OO supporters for the disabled. As an analysis method, SPSS software was used to perform frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis of causal relationships between variables. The results of the study first found that vocational consciousness, a sub-factor of workplace spirituality in supporters for the disabled, had a significant negative (-) effect on turnover intentions. Second, as a result of examining the effects of workplace spirituality on job satisfaction in supporters for the disabled, other sub-factors of workplace spirituality (vocational consciousness and community consciousness) were found to have a positive (+) effect on job satisfaction. This means that a higher vocational consciousness of workplace spirituality perceived by supporters for the disabled lessens turnover intentions. The implications of this study are considered to be basic data for the development of capacity-building programs to prepare measures to reduce the turnover intentions in supporters for the disabled.
