Study on Extraction of Sub-element and Construction of System Model for the Technological Communication Skills (기술적 의사소통능력의 하위요소 추출과 체제모형 구축)

  • The purpose of this study was to extract of Sub-elements of technological communication skills and to construct of a system model. In order to achieve the goal of the study, it was carried out in two steps: (1)Extraction sub-elements and definitions of technological communication skills, (2)Development of a system model of technological communication skills. Obtained conclusions by the process of this research were as follows. First, sub-elements of the technological communication skills were extracted and they were images, sketches, flowcharts, drawings, prototyping, symbols tables graphs and presentations. Second, using the 'technological communication tools' based on the "collaborative activities in online and offline', technological communication skills were defined as communication skills to be raised through the process of 'Idea through the Communication', 'Realization through the Communication', 'Wrap up through the Communication'. Third, technological communication skills were described as the system, in which 'Idea through the Communication(images, sketches, flowcharts)', 'Realization through the Communication(design, prototyping)', 'Wrap up through the Communication(symbol table graph, presentation)' were collaboratively activated. Fourth, checking tool for the technological communication skills was developed, based on checking tool for the existing communication skills and system model for technological communication skills. And it was improved by the expert validity test.

  • This study was conducted to describe the relationship of Communication Skill, Communication Self-Efficacy and Communication Related Educational Needs of nursing students. The participants were 206 nursing students in K City who were surveyed using self report questionnaires and the data was analyzed using SPSS 20.0. 83.5% of nursing students answered communication related education was necessary and they preferred practice centered communication education through role-play. And there was a significant positive correlation between Communication Skill and Communication Self-Efficacy. The results of this study provided a foundation to develop efficient communication program to improve interpersonal relationship of nursing students.

A Case Study of Music Therapy with Song for the Improvement of Mentally Disable Children's Communications (정신지체아동의 의사소통 증진을 위한 노래활동 사례 분석)

  • Mentally disable children feel as failure because they have difficulty in restricted and undifferentiated communications with others. It also makes the counter-partner feel frustrated. Therefore, in the aspects of language acquirement and communication activities, it is essential to let the disable children learn and communicate voluntarily. Music provides the unthreatening and interesting stimulus as non-language communication vehicle. Musical experiences for mentally disable children's are multi-stimulating experiences that make a positive influence in speech and language development and development of variety of talents. There are many communication intervention and method to treat the mentally disable children. One of the most effective treatments for mentally disable children to acquire communication techniques by expressing the language more naturally and joyfully is the musical therapy. This study analyzes children's communication technique referring to response action and attempt action through video tape observation. Also, this study measured the receptive and expressive language by PRES(Preschool Receptive-Expressive Language Scale) as a test tool in order to examine the pre-post language ability for respective children as pre-post period of therapy activity. First result of this study showed that music therapy with song was effective for mentally disable children in enhancing the communication techniques centered with communication response and in attempt action by increasing the communication action incidence. Secondly, pre-post comparison test with PRES showed that the music therapy with song was effective on improvement the receptive and expressive language ability of 4 children.

  • 응급 의사소통 시스템(ECS)은 세심한 계획, 설계시공 및 사용이 요구된다. 음성으로 메시지를 전달하는 시스템은 수많은 사용자, 관계당국, 종사자 및 전문가와 관련된 수많은 도전에 직면해 있다. 관련 당사자와 전문가가 결정되고 응급 의사소통 시스템(ECS) 프로젝트의 초기 설계 단계부터 포함되도록 하는 것이 중요하다. 음성 전달 시스템은 통상적인 화재 경보 시스템과는 많이 다르기 때문에, 엔지니어는 새로운 기술을 적용하고 새로운 설계 기법 또는 경험이 있는 새로운 전문가를 찾아 협력해야 한다. 관계 당국과 건물주는 응급 의사소통 시스템(ECS)의 설계에 적극 참여해야 한다. 응급 의사소통 시스템(ECS)의 음성 메시지를 무시하거나 부분적으로만 전달하는 것은 응급 상황 시 음성을 이용한 의사소통의 효과와 품질을 위태롭게 하는 것이다.

Relation of Day-care Teachers' Communicative Competence and Family-Teacher Communication (보육교사의 의사소통능력과 가족-교사 간 의사소통의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relation of day-care teachers' communicative competence and family-teacher communication. One hundred and fifty five teachers in day-care centers in Gyeonggi-do Suwon-si participated in the study and descriptive, correlation, multiple regression analysis were conducted. The results are as follows: First, the communicative competence of day-care teachers differed according to their age, education and career level and their type of institute. Second, the family-teacher communication level of day-care teachers differed according to their education level and their type of institute. Thirds, the communicative competence of day-care teachers had a statistically significant positive correlation to family-teacher communication.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effects on nursing students' interpersonal relationships and communication self-efficacy when their group activities were performed in interpersonal relationships and communication curriculum. This study employed one group pre test-post test study design. This course consisted of a total of 13 sessions, and was conducted for 100 minutes per session every week from September to December in 2012. Questionnaires were from Relationship Change Scale of Shlein and Guerney and Communication Self-efficacy developed by Ayres. Also, data were collected through the whole 161 cases, analyzed by descriptive statistics, and paired t-test along with PASW 18.0. As a result of this study, the scores of interpersonal relationships and communication curriculum self-efficacy were significantly increased. In light of these results, the application of this curriculum has an effect on interpersonal relationships and communication self-efficacy among nursing students. Accordingly, this study can be provided as basic data in order to develop and utilize the curriculum that can improve communication skills of nursing students in nursing education.

Convergence Study about Awareness toward communication, Communication ability and Self-efficacy : Centered on the 'S' University college students (의사소통 인식과 의사소통능력 및 자기효능감에 대한 융합연구 -S대학 융복합 수강생을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of the convergence study is to confirm the relevance between communication awareness and communication ability and communication self-efficacy. The subjects were 128 college students studying convergence education. They answered to a self-report questionnaire during March 13 to 24, 2017. The instrument for Awareness toward communication, Communication ability, Communication self-efficacy was done by Likert 5 point scale. Data was analyzed by technical statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and post-hoc Scheffe test using SPSS/Win 21.0 program. As a result, awareness toward communication level $3.50{\pm}.41$ point, communication ability $3.32{\pm}.38$ point and communication self-efficacy $3.00{\pm}.40$ among. Communication Awareness was positively correlated with communication ability level and communication self-efficacy. If there is an intervention program that improve the level of communication self-efficacy, it is expected to enhance the communication ability.

Effects of dental hygienist's job satisfaction and communication ability on communication within the organization (치과위생사의 직무만족도, 의사소통 능력이 조직 내 의사소통에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, we set the occupational satisfaction and communication ability of clinical dental hygienists as the main variables, and investigated the factors that affect communication within the organization to improve the work of dental hygienists. Self-reporting questionnaires were administered to 200 dental hygienists working in dental hospitals and dental clinics in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province from May 18, 2019 to June 12, 2019. We analyzed the data with Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The significance level was set at 0.05. Research results: Job satisfaction (r=0.193, p<0.05) and communication ability (r=0.404, p<.001) showed a significant positive correlation with intra-organizational communication, and individual communication ability (β=0.461, P<.001), which was found to have a significant effect on communication within this organization. Therefore, in order to improve the communication skills of dental hygienists, they should be proud of their work as professionals, enhance their job satisfaction, and be able to have a clear expression of their own intentions and effective dialogue. Efforts should be made to provide opportunities such as opening related lectures during internal education and maintenance education.

  • IT 기술의 발전과 네트워크 보급은 일상생활만 변화시킨 것이 아니라, 인간의 의사소통 방법에도 영향을 미치고 있다. 대면(Face to Face) 커뮤니케이션은 지금까지 가장 효과적인 방법이라 일컬어 졌지만, 이제는 통신 기술의 발달과 더불어 여러 형태의 유용한 의사소통 방법들이 보급되어 생활화되어가고 있다. 특히 PC의 대중화와 초고속 통신망의 보급, 그리고 휴대전화의 보편화는 의사소통 방법의 다양화에 큰 영향을 주었다 보이스 메일은 텍스트 기반 소통과는 다른 음성으로 의사 전달을 하는 소통 방식이면서도, 대표적 텍스트 기반의 시스템인 이메일처럼 비동기적인 통신 수단이기도 하다. 본 논문은 프로젝트 수행이라는 특수한 경우 보이스 메일을 사용한 구성원들의 의사소통 케이스를 관찰, 분석하고, 이것을 기반으로 프로젝트 수행 시 보이스 메일의 사용성의 특성에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

A Systematic Review on the Use of SBAR in Communication for Domestic Nursing Students (국내 간호대학생의 SBAR를 이용한 의사소통에 대한 체계적 고찰)

  • The purpose of the study was to review the evidence of effects of SBAR for communication in domestic nursing students. Four databases were searched for articles publised until June 2023 that databases include RISS, KISS, DBpia & KCI. Key word used for search include 'nursing students,' 'nursing,' 'SBAR,' 'communication.' Of 57 papers searched, seventeen studies were selected for data analysis. Studies evaluated outcomes including communication clarity, communication competence, communication confidence, critical thinking ability, self-efficacy, reporting confidence, clinical judgment, and communication satisfaction that most studies reported positive effects while some figures were not statistically significant. Accordingly, we intend to analyze the characteristics and contents of communication interventions using SBAR, evaluate their effectiveness, and use them as evidence for future follow-up research on communication interventions using SBAR.
