Stretchable textile materials are getting more widely used in clothing industry. Among others are two obvious reasons which make it so desirable to young female customers, i.e., better confort with motion and more closely fitted silhouette. But these two points cannot get along well always. If a manufacturer try hard to make his products too closely fit, then the products are even less comfortable than made of non-stretchable material. On the other hand, if a stretchable garment are developed to be too comfortable with plenty of size tolerance. it cannot attract customers who are looking for something closely fit. So the study was aimed to investigate appropriate size tolerances.

최근 생활수준의 향상으로 의복의 기능성이 중시되면서, 건강, 감성, 쾌적 등에 대한 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있는 건강 소재 개발에 대한 연구와 니트에 관한 선호도 및 감성연구는 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 현재까지 건강 니트 소재의 감각 및 감성이미지에 관한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 키토산 섬유와 서스 섬유의 니트 소재를 편성한 다음 최종 소비자의 감각과 감성이미지에 미치는 영향을 연구하여 실제 건강 니트 소재를 기획하는데 필요한 정보를 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 키토산 섬유와 서스 섬유를 회색계열로 변화를 주어 10 게이지의 컴퓨터 자동 횡편기로 5 종의 평편 시료를 편성하였고 20 대 남녀 대학생 69 명을 대상으로 5 종의 시료($20\;cm{\times}15\;cm$)를 랜덤한 순서로 제시하여 눈으로 시료를 보고 직접 만지면서 평가하도록 하였으며, 감각 18 개와 감성 22 개, 선호도 3 개의 총 43 개 형용사로 이루어진 7 점 척도를 사용하였다. 건강 니트 소재의 감각 및 감성 이미지를 요인 분석한 결과, 감각요인은 '부피감', '요철감', '신축감', '현시감', 변형감'의 5 가지 요인, 감성요인은 '온유감', '안정감', '고급감', '활동감'의 4 가지 요인으로 분류되었다. 색 속성 중 명도 수준별 감각요인 및 감성요인 중 '요철감'과 '안정감'의 매우 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 고명도, 저명도 수준은 울퉁불퉁하고 오톨도톨하지만 안정적이고 깨끗한 이미지로 느끼는 것으로 나타났고 중간 명도수준은 '요철감'과 '안정감'이 감소되었다. 차콜색의 키토산 100%와 연회씩의 서스 100%의 경우 울퉁불퉁하고 오톨도톨하지만 안정적이고 깨끗한 이미지로 느끼는 것으로 나타났고, 차콜색 키토산섬유와 연회색 서스섬유를 혼방하여 편성한 경우 '요철감'과 '안정감'이 감소되었다.

The purpose of this study was to raise the awareness of LOHAS(Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability) in the secondary school students. We extracted the related contents to LOHAS from the unit of 'The choice and maintenance of clothing' in the second-year's textbook of Technology-Home Economics, and selected the learning subjects. We also developed the new teaching-learning process plan on practical problem focused lesson, and applied them to the eight classes located in Siheung, Gyeonggi-do, for 5 hours per each class. The learning subjects of the teaching-learning process plan included five items as followings; general awareness, organic fashion, natural fabric, recycled material fashion, and natural dyeing, which were related to LOHAS consumption. The overall topic of the teaching-learning process plan was 'What should do to raise the awareness of LOHAS in order to practice LOHAS consumption in the choice of clothing'. Consequently, the results were abtained as follow; The general awareness of LOHAS as well as the awareness of LOHAS consumption in the choice of clothing increased after classes significantly, compared to those before. Thirty-four materials including worksheets, reading materials and teacher's guide could help to raise the awareness of LOHAS. Also these classes enabled the students to raise their awareness of LOHAS, to improve their opinions and attitudes on LOHAS consumption in the choice of clothing, and to take an interest in the lesson of Home-Economics. This study might have the educational significance in that it made the students directly participate in the national and social trend of the awareness of LOHAS, and upgrade their quality as good LOHAS consumers. Also further teaching-learning process plan in Home-Economics are necessary to promote the awareness of LOHAS for better health, environment, and society.

Scarf has played an important role not only as keeping warm of human body but also as accessory of clothes. These days with taking a growing interest of accessory, scarf had thrown off a subsidiary part and gradually had a leading place which guides the overall mode of fashion. Because scarf design of Korea does not get out of imitation step of foreign countries brands it is necessary to develop the scarf design which can show the cultural identity and originality of Korea in international society. Therefore in this study, I chose lotus flower patterns expressed on Buncheon pottery and Korean traditional patchwork cloth as the subject material of scarves design development, and my intention for this study is to develop scarves designs of Korean images by adding modern scenes. For that, first I researched lotus flower patterns expressed on Buncheon pottery and Korean traditional patchwork cloth. Among those materials, I selected to had been presented modern image. And by using computer design program of adobe illustrator 10.0 I designed the basic patterns of three types and developed the square scarves design and rectangle scarves design with those.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the information search behavior in functional sportswear purchasing by clothing and sports concern variables. Functional sportswear means sportswear made of functional clothing materials. The information search behavior in this study included information sources, information seeking attributes, information search differences between when consumers buy functional sportswear and when they purchase nonfunctional sportswear, and information characteristics. For this purpose, 500 questionnaires had been distributed to university students and 409 of which were used in the study. For data analysis, frequency, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and t-test were used. The results were as follows: first, the friends showed to be the most effective information source of functional clothing materials sportswear and internet revealed to be the information source that made the most frequent use of. The experts appeared to be the most reliable information source. Second, the more the students were concerned about clothing and sports, the more important they considered information seeking attributes. Third, in the aspects of information search differences between when consumers bought functional sportswear and when they purchased nonfunctional sportswear, only sports concern variables showed to be significant. The last, regardless of clothing and sports concern variables, it was found that customers considered all the information characteristics important.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect on the evaluation of a female teachers' role-performance based on appearance according to the clothing attitude of students and their parents. Based on the results of this study a female teachers' role-performance evaluation can be broken down into four ability areas: leaning guidance, living guidance, human relations, and learning management. Likewise the clothing attitudes of students and their parents can be divided into three groups, the clothing oriented group, the trend-individuality group, and the chastity oriented group. The trend-individuality group of students felt that female teachers' appearances have a significant effect on learning guidance and human relations ability while parents thought that there was little relationship or that it has a moderate effect on the role of learning guidance. Because the concerns of students and parents about female teachers' clothing has an effect on female teachers' role performance evaluation, when directing a student group with a high concern for clothing, female teachers need to be sensitive about their appearances and it's affect on learning guidance, human relations, and class management. Based on these results, students and parents felt that female teachers' appearances have an effect on their role performance according to their clothing attitudes.

스키는 겨울철에 하는 옥외 스포츠로서, 때로는 -30 .deg. C 정도의 저온이나 강풍이 부는 한냉 환경하에서 행하여지는 경우도 있다. 이러한 한냉환경은 신체기능을 저하시켜서 불쾌감을 증가시키므로 의복의 중요성이 더욱 강조된다. 인간과 환경 사이에 놓여 있는 스키웨어는 그 시대의 세련된 패션성이 요구될 뿐만 아니라 운동기능성, 안전성, 내구성 그리고 쾌적성을 구비하지 않으면 안된다. 따라서 환경이 인체에 미치는 영향이나 인간의 생리적 메커니즘을 인식하므로서 비로서 쾌적한 스키웨어를 만들 수 있는 것이다. 다양한 형태의 삶을 추구하는 현대인들의 관심은 점차 여가 시간의 건전한 활용 및 스포츠에 집중 되고 있다. 이러한 사회적인 경향에 발 맞추어 신소재의 스키웨어의 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 예컨데 태양 광선을 흡수하는 세라믹 투입의 신소재의 개발과 체내에서 방출하는 열을 가능한 발산하지 않는, 두 가 지 기능을 합한 축열보온 소재의 스키웨어와 또 탁월한 방수. 방풍의 효과와 운동시 발생되는 수분. 열 배출 을 위한 투습의 능력이 있고 보온의 효과가 매우 높은 힐스포(HEALSPO) 코팅 소재를 사용한 스키웨어도 개발 되고 있다. 그리고 보온성과 심리적 만족감을 위한 원피스, 투피스, 쓰리피스 타입의 디자인 개발도 진행되 고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한냉하 운동시의 축열보온 소재 및 힐스포 소재와 같은 특수소재 스키웨어가 인 체에 미치는 영향을 다른 일반 소재와 비교 고찰하고, 스키웨어의 디자인에 대한 보온성의 효과를 검토하기 위하여, 저온환경에서의 피험자의 온열생리학적 반응을 측정하였다.한 신장/근력 팀의 경우보다 높은 에너지 소비량과 심박수를 보였다.찰한 결과, 세포독성 및 염색체 이상을 유발하지 않았다. 또한 동물약품으로 사용되는 치료용량 및 투약방법에 근거하여 10mg/kg 및 5, 2.5mg/kg을 1일 1회씩 4회 투여한 군에서도 암수에 상관없이 전 농도 군에서 염색체이상을 나타내지 않아 유전독성을 나타내지 않음을 관찰하였다. 특히 vitamin C와 E의 병용투여는 상승적으로 적용하여 간세포손상을 더욱 억제시킴을 알 수 있었다.mance and on TFP(Total Factor Productivity) growth which is a pure measure of firm performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of dynamic characteristics of knitted fabrics on the clothing pressure of foundation. Five knitted fabrics of foundation were selected by different fiber types and blended ratios for the study. The dynamic characteristics of foundation wears made with five different fabrics were measured by KES-FB system method. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The tensile linearity and resilience of f1 were lower than those of other samples. While the tensile resistances of f1, f2 and f4 samples were high, the coefficients of friction of them were low. The bending rigidity and geometric roughness of f5 were higher than the others. 2. The clothing pressure of f3 all-in-one sample was the highest, and followed by f5, f4, f2 and f1, respectively. This result showed that the compression resilience affected on the clothing pressure greatly. 3. In terms of the clothing pressure by posture, the clothing pressure at $90^{\circ}$ bending posture was the highest and followed by that at standing and one-leg-up, respectively. The back part of abdomen was pressured most at $90^{\circ}$ bending posture.

This research was designed to investigate the effect of a hand and a sensibility image on the preference to skirt textiles. 131 male and female college students were surveyed and 10 kinds of preferred fabrics were used each as a specimen for all 4 seasons. Factor analysis, t-test, Pearson's correlation, and regression were used for a statistical analysis by SPSS WIN 10.0. The results of this study are as follows: 1. In spring/fall season, 6 factors including 'elasticity/flexibility' were extracted as a hand factor, and 2 factors including 'modern elegance' were extracted as a sensibility factor in skirt textiles. 2. In summer season, 5 factors such as 'unevenness/stiffness' were extracted as a hand factor and 2 factors such as 'modern elegance romantic' as a sensibility image. 3. In winter season, 7 factors including 'elasticity' were extracted as a hand factor and 2 factors including 'modern elegance romantic' as a sensibility image. 4. Significant correlations existed between a hand and a sensibility image in spring/fall, summer, and winter. 5. A sensibility image was one of the important factors in the preference to skirt textiles in spring/fall, summer, and winter.

Demands and attempts to express Korean traditional beauty are increasing. Some schools choose the uniform in designs expressing the image of Hanbok, but recently there is a few increment of wearing the uniforms. For the improvement of the uniforms, first of all, the shape and the clothing materials of the uniforms should be considered. We have compared and analyzed the shape and the clothing materials of the uniforms reflecting the image of Hanbok, according to seasons and clothing items. The uniforms reflecting the image of Hanbok were worn in eight schools and all of them are Saenghwal Hanbok style. The shape of Saenghwal Hanbok school uniforms showed both Korean style and western style characteristics. Korean style characteristics were expressed through the appearance-related parts while western style characteristics showed through the performance-related parts such as open/closure method, armhole pattern and straight sleeve line. It was shown that girls' uniforms are more diverse and similar to the western style uniforms than boys' uniforms. It was found that most of the clothing material were synthetic fiber or mixture of natural/synthetic fiber, and polyester was shown to be used most.
