Japanese case of community partnership for Healthy City Projects (일본 건강증진사업의 지역사회 자원과의 연대 구축 사례: 건강도시사업을 위한 지역사회 파트너 쉽 형성 사례)

  • 일본의 Soyo town에서 진행된 건강도시사업은 건강증진 프로그램 모형을 통하여 건강한 도시를 건설하겠다는 슬로건을 가지고 주민들이 참여하여 자신의 건강관리능력을 함양하고 서로의 장점을 공유하는 것을 사명으로 하고 있다. 또한 삶의 질 향상, 주관적 건강상태 향상, 삶의 만족도 향상, 정서적 유대감 향상, 수입증가 그리고 조기사망의 감소를 구체적 목적으로 설정하고 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하게 위한 매우 실제적이며 수량화된 목표들이 설정되어 있다. 1992년에 사전조사를 실시하고 1996년과 2002년에 사후 조사를 실시하였다. 프로그램 내용과 과정에는 보건의료전문가와 시설에 대한 정비, 평가에 대한 계획, 학교를 포함한 포괄적인 보건의료시스템이 포함된다. 모든 부문은 자신들이 설정한 보건정책 결과에 대하여 모니터링을 진행하며 적절한 정책을 다시 설정하고 수량화된 목표를 설정하며 프로그램을 수행한다. 프로그램 수행의 가장 중요한 원칙은 사업의 기획, 수행, 평가 과정에 주민이 최우선적으로 참여한다는 점이다. Soyo town은 사업을 위하여 학교 및 지역 내 사조직과 협력하고 모든 사업의 기획과정에 다양한 구성원들을 참여시켰는데 이는 건강자원 개발에 있어 매우 중요하게 실천되어야 하는 문제이다. 특히 모든 Soyo town의 주민들이 참여하는 것을 원칙으로 하였다. 주민들은 건강관련 자원의 배치상태와 과학적 근거를 고려하여 효과적인 사업을 선정하는 것을 포함한 모든 사업의 과정에 참여하였다. 바람직한 생활양식을 향상시키기 위하여 식품회사, 자원단체 그리고 사회적 관계망 그리고 지역의 단체급식시설, 식당 등이 파악되었으며, 요양원, 가사도우미, 공중보건간호사, 방문간호사, 사회사업가로 구성된 보건의료 시설과 인력들이 협력하였다. 사업이 주민의 건강을 향상시켰는가와 건강향상에 사업이 효과적이었는지를 판단하기 위해서 평가가 진행되었는데, 서비스 제공자 뿐 아니라 소비자와 주민들도 평가를 수행하였다. Soyo town의 건강도시사업의 평가 결과, 조기사망률이 1988년 22.1%이 1992년 18.2%로, 1998년 15.6%로 감소하였다. 또한 주관적인 건강상태는 1988년 48%에서 1992년 67.1%로, 1998년 71.5%로 증가하였다. 전반적으로 주관적 건강상태, 사회적 관계망, 보건의료서비스에 대한 접근성은 증가하였으며, 조기사망, 의료비용은 감소하였다. 한편 보건의료부문의 질적인 향상을 가져왔으며, Soyo town은 건강한 도시의 명성을 얻게 되었다. 사업의 효과성을 향상시킨 요인은 주민 개개인들에게 사업의 기획과정에 처음부터 참여할 기회가 주어졌다는 점과 자원개발에 있어 기존자원의 재개발에 우선순위를 두었다는 점이었다. 효과적인 사업의 수행을 위하여 행정부, 주민, 건강관련 단체들은 수단과 방법에 관한 정보를 교환하는 것이 중요하다. 사업의 기획단계에 모든 이해당사자들이 참여하여 각자의 역할분담을 명확히 하는 것이 필요하며, 건강증진은 개인의 노력 뿐 아니라 사회적 환경의 개선과 자원의 개발을 통해서 달성되는 것이므로 주민들은 건강증진을 위한 환경개선을 위해 노력도 병행되어야 한다.

  • As the paradigm shifts from treatment and provider-centered healthcare to prevention and consumer-centered healthcare, the integration of ICT convergence technology is calling for an era of digital healthcare industry revival in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It is possible to provide individual customized medical services utilizing various medical data, and it is possible to provide various medical services that transcend time and space through integration with other industries. Such digital healthcare includes health, nutrition, exercise, and patient care, while the digital healthcare industry includes healthcare and IT related to medical devices, medical information systems, and healthcare platforms that can provide personal health and medical information. Due to the social demands of the aging and the increase of chronic diseases, digital healthcare is considered as an important policy in the fourth industrial revolution in Korea. In order for the digital healthcare industry to contribute to the prolongation of human life and the improvement of quality of life, it is urgent to develop related infrastructures, legal institutions, and prepare policies. In addition, it is important to activate convergent education to foster talents who will lead the digital healthcare industry. The purpose of this study was to examine the trends of the digital healthcare industry in the era of the fourth industrial revolution and the direction of government R & D policies, and to derive directions and suggestions for future development.

An Algorithm for Detecting Residual Quantity of Ringer's Solution for Automatic Replacement (링거 자동 교체를 위한 잔량 검출 알고리즘)

  • Recently, ere are many researches to improve the quality of e medical service such as Point of care (POC). To improve the quality of the medical service, not only good medical device but also more man power is required. Especially, the number of nurses are very few in Korea that is almost the lowest rank compared to OECD countries. If the simple repetition works of the nurse could be removed, it is possible to use the skillful nurse for other works and provide better quality services. There are many simple repetition works which the nurses have to do, such as replacing the ringer's solution. To replace the ringer's solution automatically, it is necessary to detect residual quantity of the ringer's solution. In this paper, image processing is used to detect the residual quantity of ringer's solution, and modified self quotient image (SQI) algorithm is used to strong background lights. After modified SQI algorithm, the simple histogram accumulation is done to find the residual quantity of the ringer's solution. The implemented algorithm could be use to replace the ringer's solution automatically or alarm to the nurses to replace the solution.

  • Korea is undergoing a change in its population structure, due to economic development, falling birth rates and the development of health care. As the population ages, the number of elderly people who have difficulty in daily life such as dementia and paralysis increases every day. The growth of nuclear families and the increased participation of women in society make it difficult to take care of elderly people who need long-term care at home. As the social problems resulting from this have emerged as serious problems, the government enacted and implemented the Long Term Care Insurance Act to improve the quality of life for the elderly subject to long-term care and to ease the burden of family support in order to solve such problems. Therefore, the present study explores ways to improve legal and institutional aspects, and seek mental and psychological measures for the stability of old life as well as the physical health of welfare.

A Study of the Perception Gap on Nursing Service between Consumers and Providers (간호서비스 질에 대한 소비자와 제공자의 지각차이에 관한 분석)

  • this study was to investigate the perception gap on nursing service between consumers and providers. Method: the questionnaire founded on the SERVQUAL was developed and distributed to 300 patients and 210 nurses at the three subjected general hospitals in three provincial city, Korea during February to March, 2001. For data analysis, Cronbachs' Alpha, frequency, t-test, and paired t-test were used. Result: 1. In the gap analysis on the 20 properties constituting nursing service, providers almost all perceived higher than consumer in quality. Among them, the number of properties being statistically significant was 7 in the expectation, 18 in the important and 7 in the performance. 2. In the comparison analysis of the perception gap on the expectation-performance and the important-performance, it turned out that the subjected hospitals had to improve their equipment and facilities immediately. It was suggested a good strategy to strengthen the responsiveness factor and the assurance factor of nursing service. Conclusion: it could be concluded that nurses have to recognize the blind spot of their perception and endeavor to take away the perception gap between consumers and providers.

  • 2016년 우수디자인(GD)상품선정 시상식이 지난해 12월 14일코리아디자인센터 컨벤션홀에서 열렸다. '우수디자인(GD)상품선정제도'는 1985년부터 산업디자인진흥법 제6조에 의거하여 상품의 경제성, 사용성, 환경친화성, 심미성 등을 종합적으로 심사하여 디자인이 우수한 상품과 서비스에 GD마크를 부여하는 제도로, 산업통상자원부가 주최하고 한국디자인진흥원이 주관하고 있다. GD마크는 우수한 디자인 상품 개발을 장려하여 국가경쟁력을 확보하고 국민 삶의 질을 향상시키는 것을 목표로 선정하고 있다. 또한 창의 디자인강국 구현을 위해 세계적 인증가치를 구축하고, 유니버설디자인, 서비스디자인, 전통시장 산업단지 디자인을 고도화(우수디자인 선정 장려 등)함으로써 사회적 문제해결과 지속가능한 창조경제 실현에 그 의의가 있다. 올해 선정대상품목은 제품, 커뮤니케이션, 포장, 공간환경, 서비스 등의 부문에서 39개 항목으로 출품됐다. 포장 부문은 소비자제품, 식음료, 뷰티/헬스, 의료, 산업/B2B, 기타 포장 등 6개 항목으로 구성됐다. 올해 포장 부문에서는 플러긴스의 STONE JEJU CANDLE이 국무총리상을, 엘지전자(주)의 LG Sound 360 패키지가 산업통상자원부장관상을, 유씨엘(주)의 아꼬제, (주)퍼스트마켓의 코코스타 핸드모이스쳐 팩, (주)웰코스의 후르디아 크림이 조달청장상을, 일동홀딩스(주)의 그녀는 프로다, 삼성전자(주)의 삼성 모바일 액세서리 패키지 시리즈, 피치앤드의 피치앤드는 KIDP원장상을, (주)유니베라의 남양알로에 맥스피는 중소기업청장상 등을 수상했다. 다음에 우수디자인으로 선정된 포장부문 제품들을 살펴보도록 한다.

The Effect of Discrimination on Reutilization Intention in Dental Care Service (치과서비스에 대한 차별감이 재이용의사에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of discrimination on thereutilization intentionfor dental services among patients who visited the dental clinic. The questionnaire was administered to 432 patients aged 20 years or older who visited Dental Clinic in J city, Chungcheongbuk-do. Day to March 31, 2015, and the following results were obtained. The important variables that affected the reutilization intention were quality of medics, kindness, hospital image, convenience, service value and discrimination of dental care service. These variables explained 78.2% of the aggregate. Thehigher the quality of service value, medics, environment facilities, convenience, kindness, and hospital image, the more significant was the relevance with reutilization intention. As well as high-educated respondents, ones with monthly household income amounted to 4 million won, group of white-collar job, people who visited for implant treatment and ones by introduction of acquaintances. Therefore the dental care service providers are required to take effortsto recognize the discrimination and to reduce it through good quality of dental care service.

  • This paper is focused on problem in the law and system caused by the infringement of medical information and in the law and system indicate the solution. Interests in the medical service are increasing in internet environment as life quality of the people improves because of development in information and medical technology. The current main issues of the legislative system and the law improvement suggestion for telemedicine activation which is related to the ubiquitous health in which the medicine field and IT technology convergence appearance. In particular, South Korea in the privacy-related legislation should be amended. The reason, Medical information record contains a lot of patient's private secrets. Therefore, if privacy protection is not enough this could cause problem violate a patient's privacy. Thus we need consequently the maintenance of the health medical treatment field to suit a telemedicine environment of a law system. Specifically, this law enacted to protect medical treatment information and the technical security services with confidence and stability against security treats are necessary.

The Effect of Dental Hygienist Prosthetic Medical Service on Dental Satisfaction and Dental Loyalty (치과위생사의 보철 의료서비스가 치과 만족 및 애호도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to clarify the role and importance of dental hygienists in improving patient satisfaction in dental medical institutions, and to improve the social position, working conditions, and environment of dental hygienists. This study evaluated the impact of dental hygienists on dental satisfaction, revisits, and doctor recommendations for patients who had received prosthodontic treatment at dentistry in the last 10 years. This study analyzed the data from 166 survey questionnaires from June 1, to July 2, 2020. For data analysis, the SPSS Ver 23.0 program was used to calculate frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation of the variables, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As a result, the average quality of medical services provided by dental hygienists among prosthetics was 4.05, the average dental satisfaction was 4.27, the average revisit was 3.97, and the average recommendation was 4.01. As a result of Pearson's correlation analysis, there was a significant positive correlation between each variable (P<0.01). As a result of multiple regression analysis, the level of knowledge appeared as a factor affecting dental satisfaction (P<0.05). The factors influencing both the revisits and the intention to recommend were the level of knowledge and the level of education (P<0.05).

  • U-Healthcare provides healthcare and medical services, such as prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up services whenever and wherever it is needed, and its ultimate goal is to improve quality of life. This study defines the figure of U-Healthcare personalized services for providing U-Healthcare personalized services and proposes a healthcare model. A diet prescription system for personalized services can draw customized calories and rates of nutrition factors and represent a personalized diet through analyzing the personal preference in foods. This system changes the personal preference by monitoring the diet selection behavior of users. Also, this system is designed to be interactively operated with some sensors and devices in various environments using Java-based OSGi middleware.
