Natural Frequency Analysis of Arch by Galerkin's Method (갤러킨법을 이용한 아치의 고유진동해석)

  • Recently, with the development of computer, FEM has became the most frequently used numerical analysis method. FEM shows great ability in structures analysis, however, Galerkin's Method is more useful in grasping influence or the tendency of parameter which forms the structure. This paper perform the eigenvalue analysis using Galerkin's Method which is advantageous in grasping the influence and the tendency of parameter which forms the structure and study on the influence of parameter that forms arch on natural frequency response.

AC-PDP의 구동진동수에 따른 전기적 특성에 관한 연구

  • 3전극 면방전형 AC-PDP의 구동에 있어서 방전유지시 구동진동수에 따른 전기적인 특성의 변화, 즉 셀 내의정전용량, 벽전하량, 벽전압, 응답시간, 메모리 상수등을 측정하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 셀핏치 1,080$mu extrm{m}$의 test panel을 제작하였다. 방전 유지전극의 폭과 간격은 각각 260$\mu\textrm{m}$, 100$\mu\textrm{m}$ 유전층은 30$\mu\textrm{m}$, 격벽은 120$\mu\textrm{m}$로 제작하였다. 방전유지전극에 150ns의 상승시간을 갖는 duty 40%의 사각파를 10~200kHz의 다양한 진동수로 인가하고, 이때 얻어지는 전압, 전류 파형과 QV 해석을 통하여 셀 내의 정전용량을 측정하였다. 그 결과 방전공간의 정전용량(Co)은 0.3pF/cell 으로 거의 일정하였으나, 유전층 내의 정전용량(Cg)는 진동수 증가에 따라 7.5pF/cell에서 0.8pF/cell까지 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 또한 전극간 정전용량(Cp)은 벽전하의 영향으로 nagative capacitance 특성을 보였다. 구동진동수가 10kHz에서 200kHz로 증가함에 따라 벽전하량은 34.5pC/ceoo에서 15.6pC/cell로 감소하며, 벽전압도 구동진동수 증가에 따라 104.4V에서 76.5V까지 감소하는 경향을 보였다.

Amplitude Dependent Dynamic Properties of Tall Building under the Strong Wind (풍응답계측시 RD법에 의한 고층건물의 동적특성의 진폭의존성)

  • The wind tracker and structural monitoring system recorded wind and dynamic response data. The measured building is located in the moutatin in Sokcho. The damping ratio and natural frequency were analysed in this paper to obtain amplitude dependence. Amplitude dependent damping was showed clearly in the increasing rate of 9%. The tendency of dynamic properties of building obtained here are useful for the validation of dynamic properties of buildings in the evaluation of serviceability.

  • 단순 네트워크 관리 프로토콜(SNMP)에서는 메니저가 송신한 polling 에 대해 에이전트가 이에 응답을 하는 방식으로 네트워크 관리 정보를 송수신하기 때문에 비교적 많은 네트워크 트래픽이 발생한다. 특히, 심화분석을 위해 특정 관리항목에 대하여 장시간 일정 주기로 반복적인 정보 수집이 요구되는 경향분석을 실시할 때 발생되는 관리용 트래픽은 네트워크 부하를 가중시킨다. 본 논문에서는 기존 SNMP의 정보 수집 및 통신 방식을 개선하여 경향분석 용 정보 수집 시 메니저와 에이전트간 불필요한 네트워크 관리용 트래픽 발생을 최소화할 수 있는 효율적인 방안을 제시하고 구현하였다. 시험 분석 결과 기존 방식과 호환성을 유지하면서 네트워크 관리용 트래픽이 크게 감소하였다.

Behaviors of hand washing practice Korean adolescents, 2011-2013: The Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey (청소년의 손 씻기 실천 행태 분석; 청소년 건강행태 온라인 조사 2011-2013년도를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this assessment was to provide the basic data for setting up education in terms of 'Hand wash' as one of the health plan & education programs for adolescents. The task analyzed the behavior of students regarding hand washing, which were ranged from middle school to high school. The SPSS 18.0 statistical program, frequency-test and cross-analysis were used for data analysis by 2011, 2012 and 2013, which were the recent 3 years, the Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey data. In the data, the response of "Never washed" from students before having a meal accounted for 29.4% in 2011, 30.5% in 2012 and 18.5% in 2013, respectively. Unlike other subjects, these facts suggest that this kind of behavior should be considered significant under the assessment. By tracking the trend over three years, some facts were confirmed in that students living in the metropolitan and medium-sized cities were less likely to wash their hands than students in small- sized towns. In terms of gender, female students were less likely to wash their hands than male students. Regarding the type of school, more students in the public middle & high schools had a tendency to respond "Never hand wash" than the students in the special-purpose high schools. Furthermore, as the grade was increased in middle school and high school, students were less likely to wash their hands before meals in school. Therefore, Health promotion and health education for students should be conducted more carefully with more emphasis on this point.

공작기계의 곡선형 경로에 대한 오차모델을 이용한 제어기설계

  • 본 논문은 CNC 밀링머신을 이용한 절삭가공 등 2축시스템의 위치제어 시스템을 대상으로 한다. 기존의 제어방식은 크게 독립축제어와 상호결합제어로 분류할 수 있다. 독립축제어는 두 축의 통합된 운동을 각각의 독립된 축에 대한 추적제어를 수행하여 원하는 공구경로의 위치 정밀성을 향상시키고자 하는 것이고, 상호결합제어는 지령경로에 대한 추적성능보다는 현재의 윤곽오차를 감소시키는 방향으로 제어입력을 인가하여 가공윤곽의 오차를 감소시키는데 주목적이 있다. 또한 최근의 작업공정의 고속화 경향은 윤곽오차를 감소시키면서도 추적성능이 우수한 제어방식을 요구하고 있다.(중략)

Preliminary Design Procedure of MR Dampers for Controlling Seismic Response of Building Structures (건축구조물의 지진응답제어를 위한 MR 감쇠기 예비설계절차)

  • In this paper, the preliminary design procedure of magnetorheological (MR) dampers is developed for controlling the building response induced by seismic excitation. The dynamic characteristics and control effects of the modeling methods of MR dampers such as Bingham, biviscous, hysteretic biviscous, simple Bouc?Wen, Bouc?Wen with mass element, and phenomenological models are investigated. Of these models, hysteretic biviscous model which is simple and capable describing the hysteretic characteristics, is used for numerical studies. The capacity of MR damper is determined as a portion of not the building weight but the lateral restoring force. A method is proposed for optimal placement and number of MR dampers, and its effectiveness is verified by comparing it with the simplified sequential search algorithm. Numerical results indicate that the capacity, number and the placement can be reasonably determined using the proposed design procedure.

Seismic response analysis of virtual honam-jeju subsea tunnel (지진시 가상 호남-제주 해저터널의 지반응답 특성)

  • Underground structures such as subsea tunnel having large section should be stable against seismic loads. In general, underground structures show more stable behavior due to the limited dynamic motion and force, and considerable energy dissipation; however, severe damage was reported from recent earthquakes. Therefore, more sophisticated and analytic approach is required to investigate the seismic response of underground structure like subsea tunnel. In this study, seismic analysis of virtual Honam-Jeju subsea tunnel are performed. Consequently, stresses and forces of tunnel lining increased at fractured and/or weak rock zones. Stresses and forces of tunnel lining also increased at large section under axially deformed condition; however, decrease under transversely deformed condition.

Effects of Free Surface Fluctuation on the Response of Submerged Structure (파낭에 의한 해수면의 변화가 해양구조물의 동적거동에 미치는 영향)

  • In this paper, the effects of free surface fluctuation on the dynamic response of offshore structure is studied. In order to make the mathematical treatment of problem more tractable, only a single degree of freedom system subjected a long crested, stationary, Gaussian, non-breaking random waves of arbitrary bandwidth is considered. Wave force is computed based on the Morison equation in which wave induced fluid particle velocity and acceleration are modified to account for the effect of intermittent submergence of structural members near the free surface. It is shown that the response spectrum is reduced and higher harmonic response component appears when the intermittent submergence of structural member is considered. Furthermore, it is also found that the amount of reduction in the response spectrum is getting smaller as frequency is increased which might be attributed to the higher harmonic component caused by intermittent submergence and these effects are getting profound as water depth is decreased.
