  • Hemophilia is a group of gender-linkage inherited bleeding disorders that impair the body's ability to control blood clotting or coagulation. This sex-linked disorder is transmitted on the X chromosome. These genetic disorders have lower blood plasma clotting factor level of coagulation factor. Most common form is Hemophilia A and B. Restorative dental care and simple surgery for the hemophiliac patient are quite often neglected for fear of bleeding during procedures. Even dental specialist avoid these patients and make them severe problem patients. On the dental treatment especially, invasive procedure, special considerations of bleeding control are required. Inter-consultation with the hematologist will provide orientation on the best approach to dental treatment, such as the need of replacement therapy, the modification of antifibrinolytic therapy, the application of local hemostatic methods. In this case reports, we successfully treat early childhood caries of patient with hemophilia B under the general anesthesia.

  • MANET composed of only mobile node is applied to various environments because of its advantage which can construct network quickly in emergency situation. However, many routing vulnerabilities are exposed due to the dynamic topology and link failures by the movement of nodes. It can significantly degrade network performance. In this paper, we propose a secure routing protocol based on trust model. The domain-based network structure is used for efficient trust evaluation and management of nodes in the proposed technique. The reliability evaluation of nodes was performed by the discard ratio of control packet and data packet of the nodes. The abnormal nodes are detected by performing traffic check and inspecting of nodes on a path that generates excessive traffic in order to increase the efficiency of routing. It is confirmed through experiments of the proposed technique that data transmission is performed securely even if an attack exists on the path.

  • Remote sensing which observes repeatedly the whole Earth and GIS-based decision-making technology have been utilized widely in disaster management such as early warning monitoring, damage investigation, emergent rescue and response, rapid recovery etc. In addition, various countermeasures of national level to collect timely satellite imagery in emergency have been considered through the operation of a satellite with onboard multiple sensors as well as the practical joint use of satellite imagery by collaboration with space agencies of the world. In order to respond heavy snowfall disaster occurred on the east coast of the Korean Peninsula in February 2011, snow-covered regions were analyzed and detected in this study through NDSI(Normalized Difference Snow Index) considering reflectance of wavelength for MODIS sensor and change detection algorithm using satellite imagery collected from International Charter. We present the application case of National Disaster Management Institute(NDMI) which supported timely decision-making through GIS spatial analysis with various spatial data and snow cover map.

  • 802.11p WAVE is the next-generation wireless communication that can make Ad-hoc network communication possible for Vehicle-to-Vehicle. GBSR protocol, one of the 802.11p WAVE protocols, mainly focuses on improvements in networks that have a tendency to disconnect. However, it does not consider the transmission time and velocity of a packet thus, there is a disadvantage of there being a delay in the transmission velocity, in urgent situations like car accidents, emergency patients transportation and crimes. In this paper, we proposed A-GBSR protocol for transmission of a packet to mobile node which has a high speed through the improved beacon message and Adaptive Neighbor list Management that are considering of the GBSR protocol transmission velocity.
