Effect of grouts and pipe sections for closed-loop vertical ground heat exchanger on effective ground thermal conductivity (그라우트 종류와 열교환 파이프 단면에 따른 수직 밀폐형 지중열교환기의 지중 유효열전도도 평가)

  • 본 연구에서는 수직 밀폐형 지중열교환기 뒤채움용 그라우트의 종류와 첨가재 종류, 지중열교환기 파이프 단면에 따른 지중열교환기의 성능을 비교 평가하기 위해 현장 시험 시공과 현장 열응답 시험을 수행하였다. 뒤채움용 그라우트재는 벤토나이트와 시멘트를 사용하였으며 첨가제로는 천연규사와 흑연을 적용하였다. 지중열교환기 파이프 단면은 일반적으로 시공되는 U-loop 파이프 단면과 파이프 사이의 열간섭 효과를 최소화 한 3공형 파이프 단면이 적용되었다. 시멘트-천연규사 그라우트재가 벤토나이트-천연규사 그라우트재 보다 큰 지중 유효열전도도를 보이고 흑연을 첨가한 그라우트는 시멘트와 벤토나이트 모두에서 천연규사만 첨가하였을 때 보다 지중 유효열전도도가 높게 나타났다. 3공형 파이프 단면의 경우 단면에 따른 영향을 비교하기 위해 그라우트는 시멘트-천연규사와 벤토나이트-천연규사를 사용하였으며 지중 유효열전도도 측정결과 각각 3.64 W/mK, 3.40 W/mK으로 일반 U-loop 파이프 단면을 사용하였을 때 보다 높게 나타났다.

Seasonal Variations of Surface Soil Hydraulic and Pore Development Properties in Two Forested Watershed (산림유역의 지표면에서의 토양공극과 수리학적 특성의 계절적 변화)

  • 계절에 따른 토양공극의 수리학적 변화를 파악하기 위해서 설마천 유역의 범륜사 독립사면과 광릉 원두부 소유역의 독립사면을 대상으로 장력침투실험을 실시하였다. 토양수분 확보에 신뢰를 받기위해서 TDR(Time Domain Reflectometry)및 현장에서 토양의 불포화 투수계수 측정이 가능한 장력침투계(Tension infiltrometer)를 이용하였다. 계절에 따른 자료수집을 위해서 2008년 3월 20일 부터 약 6주간격으로 10월 29일까지 5회에서 6회 토양수분 자료 및 토양장력침투 자료를 획득하였다. 획득한 자료를 이용하여 포화 및 불포화 수리전도도, 대공극 유효흐름분율(macropore flow), 대공극 유효부피분율을(effective macroporosity) 나타내었다. 분기별로 자료분석 결과 계절별 특성이 나타남을 알 수 있다. 수리전도도는 3월, 5월, 10월은 유사한 반면 6월과 7월 그리고 9월은 상대적으로 높았다. 이는 여름철에 공극 발달이 활발하다는 것을 의미한다. 선행토양수분은 수리전도도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 대공극의 발달은 삼림과 같은 복잡 경관에서는 강우사상에 따른 토양수분의 공간 분포 및 이송, 유출과정이 물순환에 영향을 미친다. 지형분석을 통한 공극의 흐름특성과 토양수분 유의성에 대하여 논의하였고, 대공극 변화에 밀접한 관계가 있는 식생과 그밖에 계절적으로 발달을 일으키는 요인을 모색 하였다. 본 연구는 계절에 따라 변하는 수리전도도를 기초로 하여 불포화대에서 토양공극의 수리학적 변화와 시공간적으로 침투흐름에 얼마나 영향을 주는가를 보여준다.

Verifying the Validity of the Qualitative Evaluation Indexes for Venture Firms' Investment Review: Case Study (벤처기업 투자 심사를 위한 정성 평가 지표의 유효성 검증: 사례연구)

  • As the size of venture firm's operating funds continues to increase, the scope of work of the investment jurisdiction is increasing dramatically as well. However, investment decisions vary widely, depending on the competence of the judges. This follow-up study recommends verifying the validity of the effectiveness of venture investments by validating the efficacy of assessing venture investment indexes. After verifying the assessment indexes for 100 venture firms, the study noted that the efficacy of the survey as a qualitative evaluation measure was approximately 85% hit, which can act as a yardstick for investment decisions. The results of this study can contribute toward the decision making power of venture companies in terms of investments.

Calculation of the Effective Wake in a Radially Sheared Inflow (유효반류 계산에 관한 연구)

  • A theorectical method is presented for the calculation of the effective wake in an axisymmetric sheared inflow. The effective wake is essential in the design of optimal propulsor and in the reduction of propulsor induced vibration and noise. The nominal wakes are mathematically modelled and the effective wakes are calculated using the computer program developed on the basis of the linear momentum theory. The results show that shear effects arc dominant near the hub and the effective wakes reveal some differences near the hub for the moderately and heavily loaded propulsors but they arc well coincided with the other experimental or theorectical results for the lightly loaded propulsors. To improve the results it may be necessary to consider nonlinear terms neglected in this study and body boundary condition on hub.

An Improved Hough Transform Using Valid Features (유효 특징점을 이용한 개선된 허프변환)

  • The Hough transform (HT), that is a typical algorithm for detecting lines in images, needs considerable computational costs and easily detects pseudo-lines on the real world images, because of the large amount of features generated by their complex background or noise. This paper proposes an improved HT that add a preprocessing to estimate the validity of features to the conventional HT. The feature estimation can remove a lot of inessential features for the line detection using a pattern of $3{\times}3$ block features. Experiments using various images show that the proposed algorithm saves computational costs by removing 14%~58% of features depending on images and besides it is superior to the conventional HT in valid line detection.

  • In this study, deep beam specimens are designed to have the effective shear span to depth ratio 1.0 and web opening within effective shear region. The purpose of this study is to investigate experimentally the shear strengthening effect between before failure and after failure upon using fiber sheets for RC deep beam with opening in web. The results can be summarized as follows; 1)When deep beams with web opening were failed in shear, their initial diagonal crack load and crack width were not influenced by their types of the arranged steel bars. 2)Deep beam with the horizontal reinforced bar was effective in the ultimate load of deep beam with web opening in shear failure 3)There were the approximate values between the experimental values and the analysis of finite element method. 4)The ultimate failure strengths of the repaired and strengthened specimens were increased about 34.4%~83.8% in comparison with specimens not to be strengthened.

A Study on effects of emotional labor and emotional intelligence of dental hygienist on organizational effectiveness (치과위생사의 감정노동과 감성지능이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • This study was undertaken to analyze factors influencing the emotional labor and emotional intelligence of a dental hygienist on organizational effectiveness. The study was conducted between September 4, 2018 to December 7, 2018, enrolling a total of 233 dental hygienists living in the Jeollabuk-do province. The data were analyzed by independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression, using SPSS 18.0. The regression model obtained was F=138.917, P<0.05, with an explanatory percentage of 58.2. Emotional labor (${\beta}=0.608$) was determined to be the most influential variable among independent variables, and other factors affecting the organizational effectiveness of a dental hygienist include the highest level of education, career, and emotional intelligence. We conclude that in order to improve organizational effectiveness among dental hygienists, it is necessary to establish an effective plan for reducing emotional labor and promote emotional intelligence.

Evaluation of the Lap Splice Strengths of High Strength Headed Bars by Flexural Tests of RC Beams (RC 보의 휨실험을 통한 고강도 확대머리철근의 겹침이음 강도 평가)

  • In this paper, a bending test was conducted on beams with two lap splice details when the effective depth of tensile high strength headed bars overlapped is the same and different. Through bending test, the lap splice performance of the high-strength headed bars was evaluated, and the applicability of the KDS-2021 design formula was evaluated. In the LS specimens with lap splice details where the high strength bars had the same effective depth, all specimens with 1.3 times or more of the development length of the KDS-2021 equation and 1 times or more of the ACI318-19 had the flexural failure mode after the ductile behavior to ensure sufficient lap splice performance. For specimens with details of lap joints between headed bars with different effective depth, when lap splice length is calculated by the KDS-2021 formula, the flexural stress may be transmitted so that the flexural strength at the cross section with the large effective depth and the cross section with the small effective depth becomes similar.

On the Validity of the Effective Cavity Model with the Transfer Matrix Method as a Frame of Reference In VCSELs (수직 공진기 반도체 레이저에서 전달 행렬 방법과의 비교를 통한 유효 공진기 모델의 타당성 검토)

  • In comparison with in-plane lasers, predicting the output power and differential quantum efficiency of Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Lasers(VCSELs) is very difficult due to the distributed Bragg reflector(DBR) layers. Therefore, effective cavity model and transfer matrix method have been adapted in order to calculate the output power and differential quantum efficiency The effective cavity model is inappropriate to calculate output power and differential quantum efficiency while it is practically adequate to calculate the threshold gain and threshold current density The reason is that the effective cavity model can not take account of the absorption in GaAs stack layer right below the metal aperture. In this paper, we have compared the threshold current and differential quantum efficiency calculated by using transfer matrix method with effective cavity model and we have made a study of the validity of the effective cavity model. Finally, we have confirmed the versatility of the transfer matrix method with these studies.

Numerical Analysis on the Heat Transfer and Pressure Drop Characteristics of a Channel with Pin-fin Structure (핀-휜 구조물을 삽입한 채널의 열전달 특성과 압력강하에 관한 수치해석)

  • Heating and/or cooling of the channel with pin-fin structure is a promising choice for the efficient heat transfer. Complex pin-fin structure shows highly irregular behavior like porous media. This study shows the numerical analysis on the characteristic of heat transfer and pressure drop of a channel with pin-fin structure. It predicts the experimental data quite well at the high porosity region with large diameter. Low porosity activates the rigorous flow disturbance and, consequently, the enhanced heat transfer. However, the concept of optimum design should be carefully reviewed because the pressure drop is also increased with decreasing porosity at low porosity region.
