The Impact of Country Image on the Chinese Consumers' Purchase Intention (국가이미지가 중국 소비자의 구매의향에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Country images of Korea and Japan based on economic development, education level, goods' quality, R&D, political democratization and quality of life, perceived by Chinese university students in Beijing, Shanghai and Shandong province of chinese emerging markets as the representative of a potential buying power group, are surveyed, which, then are used to study how the perceived country images effect on their purchasing intention for Korean and Japanese products, such as, foods, cars, fashions, music CDs, electronic products and living goods. The study shows that, in chinese emerging markets, country image affects on the purchase intention of each products differently. The country image of Korea was less influential than that of Japan on the Chines students' purchasing intention for the goods other than the electronic goods. Despite the small number of the sample, this study showed the importance of country image in the in chinese emerging markets and suggested the need for both the government and private sector to take a strategy to enhance the country image by finding the relation between the elements of country image and the intention to purchase certain product.

A Location Selection of Logistics Center for Environment-Friendly Agricultural Products in the Gwangyang Bay Area (광양만권 친환경농산물 물류센터 입지선정 연구)

  • This study was conducted to select the location of the logistics center for environment-friendly agricultural products in the Gwangyang Bay Area. AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) technique was used to examine location selection factors and factor hierarchy was made through a questionnaire survey and an expert interview for objective and quantitative decision. The hierarchy process of location factors of logistics center for environment-friendly agricultural products in the Gwangyang Bay Area were categorized into five factors such as natural factors, economic factors, social factors, distribution efficiency, and land use plan. Then, those factors were sub-categorized into three factors each. As a result of pair-wise comparison analysis of five categories, the weight of economic factors was the highest, and easy cargo transportation, fitness to higher-order plan, climate, land price, and limitation regulations of sub-categorized factors appeared as comparative evaluation criteria. The priority of the final candidate was decided through this process. While the weight of the Yulchon II Industrial Complex was the highest in natural and economic factors were the highest, the weight of the Gwangyang Hwanggeum Industrial Complex was the highest in social factors, distribution efficiency, and land use plan. The result of the final analysis showed that the Gwangyang Hwanggeum Industrial Complex was the most optimal location candidate for the logistics center for environment-friendly agricultural products.

  • Recently, consumers' taste has been diversified, consumption pattern has changed, and product package design has been gradually developed. The product packaging design should be made to be able to know the contents accurately, and it should have the charm that attracts consumers' attention and makes them want to buy the goods. In addition, product design should motivate consumers to buy according to brand naming, package layout, content expression method, taste color, as well as graphic elements that induce visual effects.The graphic elements that express the image of the contents in a package design of the product at a glance are the most essential elements to enhance the value added of the product and to induce the purchase motivation and rationalization of the consumer. This study is a study on visual image symbol image using visual information metadata in livestock products. It examines cases of various livestock packages and presents graphical elements that can visualize livestock images at a glance as metadata elements. We will pursue the premiumization of livestock products, raise brand value, and offer differentiating design strategies for economic benefits as well as potential for revitalizing the livestock market.

Turbulent Flow over 2-D Rectangular-Shaped Roughness Elements with Various Spacings(Part 1 : Time Averaged Flow) (사각단면을 갖는 환경 거칠기 요소의 거칠기 간격에 따른 유동 변화 (제1보: 평균유동장))

  • The present study deals with the flow over a flat plate with repeated roughness elements of 2-dimensional rectangular shape, which can be applied into the study on the natural geographical roughness and the turbulent flow on roughened solid surface. Experiment was performed using PIV technique in the circulating water channel. Results showed that the flow over roughness elements was characterized by the high shear flow emanating from top of roughness element and the recirculating region formed at the trough of two roughness elements. In general, the ratio between the spacing and the height of roughness elements plays a crucial role in developing the flow pattern near wall surface.

Classification of Online and Offline linked Advertisements in 4th Industrial Revolution (4차 산업혁명 시대에 따른 온라인과 오프라인 연계 광고의 유형화)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the value and type of online and offline linked advertisement, which is a new advertisement type that emerged with the advent of the 4th industrial revolution. In this study, based on literature research, we understood the marketing method that evolves from "4P (product, price, place, promotion)" to "4C (co-creation, community, conversation, currency)" and extracted derive 4C elements. Based on this, we analyzed what elements of 4C showed online and offline connectivity through the investigation of on and offline linked advertisements. Through the analysis results, online and offline linked advertisements were classified into 4 types and 14 detailed types according to how they were connected to the number of 4C elements. In this paper, as a final result, we verified that 4C elements of marketing that appeared in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution are represented in advertisements and suggested the typology of advertisements accordingly. This study is expected to contribute to providing new insights to advertisers and researchers who produce and study online and offline advertisements.

Lactic held Bacteria for the Preservation of Fruit and Vegetables (과실 및 채소류의 저장에 있어서 Lactic Acid Bacteria의 이용)

  • Traditionally, lactic acid bacteria(LAB) is microorganism that has been used for food fermentation. Bacteriocinogenic culture and by-products of lactic acid bacteria have the antimicrobial effect. The antimicrobial effect of lactic acid bacteria enable to extend the shelf life of many foods through fermentation processes. Therefore, a lot of investigation of antimicrobial compounds from LAB have been studied on the effect of foods preservation of fish, meat, dairy product, refreserated nonfermentive food and so on. However a little research on the effects of LAB in fruit and vegetables preservation has been reported. In this study, effectiveness of LAB as a quality preservative in fruit and vegetables storage were reviewed.

  • Despite the PB diffusion introduced as a strategic competitive factor from the change of a retailing business, the study of PB perceived quality in a customer aspect is poor. Therefore, this study led the influential factors to retailer attribute and product attribute through overall analysis. Also, the study found the influential attributes affecting the perceived quality and analysed the influential power linking to customer satisfaction and preference through the perceived quality. The examined results of the study have known that each attribute links to customer satisfaction via the only perceived quality. The strategic PB sales advantage should be achieved as giving customers the overall perceived quality, and has shown that it can increase the customer preference for PB.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the goal and potential contributors of public fund for content industry in digital media environment with regard to the new content fund which Korean government has tried to establish since 2013. The study focuses on value transfer toward the digital content distributors as stressed by the French government introducing Culture tax on smart device. As the concentration of added-value poses a problem hampering the co-evolvement of total ecosystem, the goal of new content fund should focus on financing and digitalization of content, which should be financially contributed by content service providers and smart device manufacturers.

  • 본 발표에서는 KISTI에서 현재 구축하고 있는 인체 데이터의 현황과 인체 데이터를 포함한 과학 데이터 리파지터리의 구축과 활용에 대한 전반적인 내용을 소개한다. 인체 데이터는 인체 절단면 영상을 중심으로 한 Visible Korean 데이터와 CT, MR 영상과 인체 뼈대 물성을 중심으로 한 Digital Korean 데이터로 나누어지며 이들 데이터의 제작 과정과 활용 내용을 주로 소개한다. 과학 데이터 리파지터리 구축 내용은 현재 국가의 연구개발 예산으로 수행되고 있는 연구과제에서 생성된 다양한 과학 데이터들을 국가적 차원에서 수집, 관리, 유통시키기 위해 기관별 또는 분야별로 과학데이터센터를 육성하고 이를 거점으로 하여 국내의 과학데이터가 수집, 관리, 유통, 활용될 수 있도록 국가적 과학데이터 관리체계를 구축한다. 또한 이렇게 수집된 과학데이터의 활용을 위해 연구자들이 데이터 기반의 연구 과제를 수행할 수 있도록 데이터 기반의 첨단 연구 환경을 구축하고 연구에 필요한 S/W, H/W 및 기타 필요한 IT 기반의 요소기술들을 개발, 지원한다. 또한 KISTI가 제작 주체가 되어 생산한 상기의 인체 데이터뿐만 아니라 의료 관련 분야의 연구 현장에서 생산되고 있는 다양한 인체 데이터를 수집, 관리, 공유할 수 있도록 인체 데이터 리파지터리를 구축하기 위해 Visible Korean, Digital Korean 데이터를 포함한 다양한 의료 데이터의 리파지토리를 설계하고 이러한 의료 데이터 기반 연구의 활성화 및 데이터 리파지터리의 활성화를 위한 정부 및 분야별 커뮤니티 차원의 다양한 대책들을 소개한다.

A Study on Book Metadata Creation and Distribution on Supply Chain (공급사슬상의 도서메타데이터 생성.유통에 관한 고찰)

  • Recently, the publishing community now recognizes the importance of metadata in customers' buying decisions. As a result, they are more interested in effective metadata creation and quality maintenance, as well as standardization of exchanging system in the supply chain. As the library community also investigates the economic effectiveness of creating metadata, they try to find the best model for simplifying metadata creation by using sources close to the original. This study analyzes metadata work flow which had same source but be used in different fields by their own type and standard. It also discusses the same issues about each section and possibility about interoperation. Finally this paper tries to find an effective creation and distribution model of book metadata which can be used in domestic publishing and the library community.
