  • This study seeks to find an organizational method suitable for literary records through a review of the application of records management and an archival exploration of the literary materials of the authors, which are housed in a decentralized collection of domestic literary museums. First, through literature research and case analysis, I explored the "principles of original order" for organizing by characteristics and values of literary records. Next, the organization model was applied to the literature materials of author Jo Jung-rae(1943~) that existed in the form of a 'split-collection' in the local literature museum after drawing a model suitable for organizing literary records as an example. In order to gain an integrated approach to the 'split-collection' by Cho Jung-rae, the research result suggests a model provided through a single gateway by linking descriptive information related to ICA AtoM-based 'Records-Writers-Literature Museum'. The organizational model for the collection of individual literature museum was designed to provide richer collective and contextual information compared to the existing simple list by developing a hierarchical classification system in accordance with the principle of record organizing.

  • In order to understand the various cultural interactions caused by the wave of globalization, we need a proper lens that can observe and transmit correctly these phenomena. The result of understanding very differs depending on which lens is used. Translation can be regarded as a lens to communicate with each other in the world where language barriers exist. Literature is a kind of universal cultural heritage combined with the intellectual, artistic and social lifestyle of each society. Introducing this cultural complex, namely literature and impregnating people from other languages with the value of our Korean literature, begin with the correct translation. Translator should act as a literary missionary, not merely a simple communicator. The process of literary translation cannot be achieved by simple linguistic ability because it is a highly human scientific work that requires diverse talents from translators. The right translator for Korean literature in Romania is a person with diverse abilities and social experiences within the cultural framework of Korea and Romania. As the requirements of the translation environment from each country are different, the paradigm of foreign translation literature that Romania wants to accept may be very clear distinctively. With recognizing this characteristic environment of Romania, the value of Korean literature can be effectively spread in Romania. Translators are the creators of another original work. With this in mind, the education of Korean studies in Romania should pay more attention to the nurture of right and capable translators.

  • I analysis Alfonso Cuaron's comparing it with Charles Dickens' the original novel and David Lean's . In order to evaluate film which is based on classic novel, formal difference between film and novel, people's preference in those days and director's interpretations should be considered besides how the film follow the original novel faithfully. Regarding to these valuation basis, David Lean's film is true to the original novel and same time successful to add director's interpretation by using Mise en secne in it. Alfonso Cuaron is also succeed in filming well-made, people-like work by modifying the original novel with the convention of melo-drama genre and by using modern film form without breaking Hollywood classic film grammar.

  • Sijo is the essence of Korean literature and the most ideal poetic form through which we can express our images gracefully in three lines. Hence it deserves special emphasis either in creative writing and appreciating it from elementary school to middle school. In this paper observes how Sijo is taught in the schools and suggests the direction of educating Sijo. There may be three kinds of Sijo performance, namely, recitation, reading, and singing. In this paper. it is claimed that the performance of Sijo in the twenty first century should be recitation. Sijo education may be effective when it focuses on a way of recitation in which, with natural and long breath, a piece of Sijo is recited at length. Nevertheless, it is not practiced as the way of recitation because of following two reasons. Firstly. the analysis on rhythm, which is on the base of its recitation, is extremely difficult. Secondly, the theoretical ways, which is obsolete and lacks vividness, are ineffective in education. By these reasons. 1 studied how to give a recitation following my preceding studies on rhythm and rhythmical reading of Sijo. As a result, this paper suggests a reading method as a solution to the problems. In fact, we Korean can discipline our mind and body through reciting Sijo to the rhythm which is transcendental to Korean and at the same time, Sijo education helps to enhance our pride as koreans in the process of studying Sijo.

  • This thesis aims to find out the purpose of recording . I tried to understand the reason that the compiler of included this song in the record of King Yuri. The result of tracking the intention of the compiler in this thesis is as follows. I think that was chosen as a symbol of King Yuri's character, especially connected with his inner side. By introducing a hobby that contained the inner side of King Yuri, the compiler implied that his failures and mistakes in subsequent governments stem from human limitations that did not adequately refine his qualities. I think that the compiler who showed the character of King Yuri through only one short song also showed the highest level of enjoying poetry. The enjoyment of literature is a pleasure in understanding the life of someone through literature and bring it back into their lives. In this respect, by pursuing the intend of the compiler, we will be close to the value of the song, .

  • This paper aims to look into text of Toegye Lee Hwang's poem Cheongryangsan (Mt. Cheongryang). For that, the poetic aspects of experiences in staying in mountains presented in the poem were classified into materialistic aspect, a method of subject proposal, subject recognition and orientation to examine such aspects, and their respective meanings and limits were considered. First, from the materialistic aspect, the poem about Mt. Cheongryang can be divided into a case of materializing acts in Mt. Cheongryang and a case of materializing an individual scenery of Mt. Cheongryang itself. Second, from an aspect of methods of subject proposal, the poem can be divided into a case in which the space of Mt. Cheongryang is proposed syntagmatically and abstractly and a case in which each scenery is proposed by it being divided partially. Third, from an aspect of subject recognition and orientation, in case Mt. Cheongryang is realized as a solitary space separated far from the world, poetic self aims at reflection. However, in case Mt. Cheongryang is realized as a space for staying with friends and disciples, poetic self aims at communication. The above-mentioned difference is caused by the fact that Toegye had such an experience in Mt. Cheongryang twice at the interval of 10 years. This study is significant in that it intensively looked into Toegye' experience in Mountains and the poetic text which have not been studied and that Toegye's recognition and orientation of a space were discriminatively revealed.

  • Seochon('West Village') is located in the west side of Gyeongbokgung(Gyeongbok Royal Palace) inside the old city wall of Seoul. Seochon has beautiful scenic view surrounding Mt. Inwang and has been known as the representative historical and cultural landscape region in Korea that historical and cultural resources are rich. But when the figure of Seochon which has repeated the changes with the ones of the times is considered, values of beauty of natural landscape that Seochon had and its own placeness have not been gradually recognized as it has been swept away in logic of the development on the strength of economics. • The Northern Song Dynasty, the heyday of cultural and artistic achievements, brought significant changes to the history of gardens in China. The developments and contemplations that had evolved during the previous Tang Dynasty became intertwined with literature, painting, and art, leading to garden being perceived as works of art. In particular, the emergence of Su Shi(蘇軾) that permeated literature and art during the Northern Song Dynasty, had an impact beyond individual garden creation, influencing the development of public gardens and the diversification of garden. His long exile periods served as an opportunity to understand and reflect the local culture and characteristics, influencing the development of the garden. This study focuses on the ideology of Su Shi(蘇軾) that managed various gardens, examining the relationship between his exlie life and ideology. To do so, the study examines the form of the literati's gardens managed by Su Shi(蘇軾), with a particular emphasis on the Baiheju(白鶴居) garden in Huizhou, revealing the following characteristics and values. First, Su Shi(蘇軾), who was proficient in the Three Houses: Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, combined his philosophy and unique perspective techniques with the location and composition elements of Baiheju(白鶴居) to enjoy the landscape. Although the ancient residence has a simple form, it possesses expansiveness through the combination of internal and external views. The interior is designed to be perceived as a single space, but it allows overlapping experiences of space and simultaneous appreciation of different sceneries. On the other hand, the spatial layout incorporates a hierarchical order to establish a sense of order. Second, the garden reflects the local characteristics, featuring numerous tropical plants and presenting vibrant and contrasting colors with structures. The planting forms embrace the concept of "huosei seikou" (活色生香) to enhance the color harmoniously. Additionally, the garden incorporates the poet's spiritual world, projecting it onto the garden as a contemplative place for spiritual nourishment and exploration of the ideal realm. For the pursuit of serenity and profound contemplation, the selected plantings are simple yet distinctive, providing rhythm and depth to the garden space. Third, Baiheju(白鶴居) has undergone changes over the years, but fundamentally, the form and elements of the garden shaped by Su Shi(蘇軾)'s descendants persist, confirming its heritage value.
