우성형 중성자 수송방정식을 이용한 광첨두현상 감소 및 제거

  • 특정한 방향성분에 대한 방향중성자속을 정의하는 방향차분 수송 방정식(discrete ordinates or S$_{N}$ transport equation)과 달리 방향변수를 구분된 방향영역에 대하여 적분하고, 해당 방향영역 내에서의 방향중성자속이 일정하다고 가정하는 영역상수법(piecewise constant method)을 이용하여 유사방향차분방정식(discrete ordinates-like equation)을 유도하여, 이를 Boltzmann 수송식과 2계 우성수송식(even-parity transport equation)에 적용하여 기존의 방향차분법의 단점인 광첨두현상(ray effects)을 감소시키고, 우성수송식의 교차미분항을 제거한 단순우성방정식(simplified even-parity equation)을 사용하여 광첨두현상을 제거하였다. 이는 단순우성방정식의 또 다른 장점을 제시한다.

Application of Sediment Transport Model Using Observed Erosion Rates (침식률 측정결과를 사용하는 유사이동모형의 적용)

  • A 2-dimensional numerical sediment transport model using erosion rates in undisturbed conditions has been developed and applied to calculating the suspended sediment concentrations and bed level changes in the Lower Fox River The model reduces inaccuracy of sediment model by using the accurate erosion rates obtained in a flume (called Sedflume). The flume has been developed to measure erosion rates as a function of sediment depth and at the situation of high shear stresses such as flood event. Both mechanisms of suspended load and bedload transport are included in the model. The model results were verified for the description of sediment transport in a straight channel and the sediment transport during flood event in the Lower Fox River The results of Lower Fox River simulation showed good agreements with the observed SS concentrations. This model can be used to simulate sediment transport under the high shear conditions such as flood.

  • This paper introduces an Eulerian long- range transport model coupled with a mesoscale atmospheric model. The model has been applied to the simulation of tracer distribution during two cases of Cross Appalachian Tracer Experiment (CAPIEX). Meteorological fields are Predicted by CSU RAMS with four-dimensional assimilation and tracer transport is computed from an Eulerian dispersion model. The atmospheric model with a four-dimensional assimilation has produced meteorological fields that agree well with observation and has proved its high potential as a generator of meteorological data for a long-range transport model. The Present transport model Produces reasonable simulations of observed tracer transport although it was partially successful in the case with complicated structure in observed concentration. Model with Bott's 2nd-order scheme performs as well as that with Bott's 4th-order scheme and increased explicit horizontal diffusivity. Diagnosis of the model results indicates that the Present long-range transport model has a good potential as a framework for the acid deposition model with detailed cloud and chemical processes.

  • Parenchyma cells of Streptanthus tortus suspension cultures possessed the different transport system for aldose-formed D-glucose and for ketose-formed D-fructose. $K_{m}$ value for D-glucose and D-fructose were 0.28mM and 15.02mM, respectively. $K_{m}$ value of D-mannose was 0.44 mM which is similar to the D-glucose transport system, but D-mannose was transported also through its own special uptake system. Parenchyma cells possessed the transport system of L-glucose, but the function of L-glucose was not known at all. Protoplast of parenchyma cells possessed only the monosugars transport system, but didn't possess the disugars, sucrose transport system. Early developing phloem protoplasts possessed glucose and sucrose transport system at the same time. On the contrary, in the complete developed phloem cells disappeared preexisted glucose transport system in the parenchyma cells, only new induced sucrose transport system existed.ted.

  • 가스하이드레이트는 수소결합을 하는 물분자의 고체상 격자(Lattice)내에 포집되어 들어가는 기체분자로 구성된 결정화합물로서 외형적인 형태는 얼음과 거의 유사하다. 천연가스 하이드레이트 기술의 최대장점으로는 액화천연가스(LNG)는 초저온인 $-162^{\circ}C$의 저장조건이 필요하지만 천연가스하이드레이트(NGH)기술은 비교적 온화한 조건인 $-15^{\circ}C$에서 천연가스를 고체상태로 저장/이용할 수 있다는 것이다. 천연가스를 $-162^{\circ}C$에서 액화시킨 LNG상태로 생산, 수송, 저장하는 경우보다 고체상태인 NGH(Natural Gas Hydrate)로 만들어서 생산, 수송, 저장할 경우 천연가스의 생산, 수송, 저장, 재가스화 등의 일련의 공정과 비교해볼 때 LNG방법보다 약 24%이상의 경비를 절감을 할 수 있다고 보고되어지고 있다. 따라서, 천연가스의 수송 및 저장기술에서의 탁월한 경제성으로 인해 선진국에서는 가스하이드레이트에 대한 활발한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 특히 일본은 5Ton/Day용량의 NGH 생산플랜트를 건설하여 시운전 중에 있다. NGH기술의 주요 활용분야는 대용량의 가스매장량을 요구하여 LNG공정기술을 적용할 수 없는 중소형가스전 또는 한계가스전에 경제적으로 적용하는 해양수송분야와 천연가스 공급망이 갖춰져 있지 못한 지역에 NGH Pellet형태로 수송/재기화하여 활용하는 내륙운송이 분야가 있다. 국내에서는 지식경제부 국책과제인 ETI(Energy Technology Innovation)사업을 시작으로 국가경쟁력 제고 차원에서 이러한 기술의 기반구촉 및 실증화 사업이 진행되고 있다. 주요 내용으로는 NGH Process Flow, Overall NGH Process concept diagram, NGH Carrier outline, NGH Land Transportation chain 등이 포함되어 있다.

다층 구조의 4,7-diphenyl-1, 10-phenanthroline과 tris(8-hydroxyquinoloine) Aluminum 전자수송층을 이용한 유기발광소자의 효율 증진 메카니즘

  • 유기발광소자는 빠른 응답속도, 높은 색재현성, 높은 명암비의 장점을 가지고 있어 차세대 디스플레이로 각광 받고 있으며, 이미 소형 디스플레이로 상용화되고 있다. 유기발광소자에서는 발광효율을 높이기 위해서 전하들의 균형이 매우 중요하다. 유기발광소자 내 정공의 이동도는 전자의 이동도보다 빠르기 때문에 정공의 이동도를 감소하거나, 전자의 이동도를 증가하여 전하들의 균형을 형성함으로 유기발광소자의 효율을 증진시키는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 유기발광소자의 전자 수송층을 다층구조로 적층하여 전자의 이동도를 증가하여 효율이 증진하는 메커니즘을 기본으로 하였다. 전자 수송층을 tris(8-hydroxyquinoloine)aluminum ($Alq_3$) 단일층, 4,7-diphenyl-1, 10-phenanthroline (BPhen)과 $Alq_3$의 혼합층및 BPhen과 $Alq_3$ 다층 구조로 제작한 유기발광소자의 전기적, 발광 특성을 비교 분석하였다. BPhen은 lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) 준위가 $Alq_3$의 LUMO 준위와 유사하여 전자 주입이 효율적으로 일어나며, 또한 낮은 highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) 준위는 정공 저지층의 역할을 하여 발광층 내에서 전하의 균형을 효율적으로 맞춰준다. 유기발광소자는 N,N,'-bis-(1-naphthyl)-N,N'-diphenyl1-1'-biphenyl-4,4'-diamine (NPB)/ $Alq_3$/ 다양한 전자수송층 / lithium quinolate (Liq)/ aluminium (Al) 음극 전극으로 각각 증착하여 제작하였다. 전자수송층을 다층 구조로 사용한 유기발광소자는 발광효율이 혼합층과 단일층에 비해 높았으며, 최대 발광효율은 전류밀도가 273 mA/cm2일때 4.5 cd/A였다. 다층구조의 전자수송층에서 다층으로 증착된 BPhen이 효율적인 전자 주입 및 전공 저지하는 역할을 최적화 하여 발광층에 더 많은 엑시톤이 형성하여, 유기발광소자의 효율을 증진시켜 준다는 사실을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper presents a mathematical formulation for container slot chartering model through strategic alliance between liner shipping companies. This paper develops a solution procedure to apply the model to real world problems and its applicability is demonstrated by a numerical example. The model presented in this paper has some important features which have never been considered in the previous researches. The model is linear model and pursuits profit maximization. And also it considers slot chartering capacity selection. This paper attempts to perform sensitivity analysis and compares slot chartering model with basic non-collaborating model in which there is no alliance and collaboration. As a result of sensitivity analysis, some interesting findings are obtained; Even though freight rate is more and more decreasing, the profit by slot chartering model is always higher than the basic model but the profit gaps become smaller. But The ratio of the profit gap to the profit of basic model is more increasing.

  • Since wireless Internet services and small mobile communication devices come into wide use as well as the use of GPS is rapidly growing, researches on moving object, whose location information shifts sequently in accordance with time interval, are being carried out actively. Especially, the researches on vehicle moving object are applied to Advanced traveler information system, vehicle tracking system, and distribution transport system. These systems are very useful in searching previous positions, predicted future positions, the optimum course, and the shortest course of a vehicle by managing historical data of the vehicle movement. In addition, vehicle historical data are used for distribution transport plan and vehicle allocation. Vehicle historical data are stored at regular intervals, which can have a pattern. For example, a vehicle going repeatedly around a specific section follows a route very similar to another. If historical data of the vehicle with a repeated route course are stored at regular intervals, many redundant data occur, which result in much waste of storage. Therefore this thesis suggest a vehicle historical data store scheme for vehicles with a repeated route course using similar trajectory which efficiently store vehicle historical data.

Characterization of a Monosaccharide Transporter mstB Isolated as a Downstream Gene of MsnA in Aspergillus nidulans (Aspergillus nidulans에서 MsnA 하위 유전자로 선별된 단당류 수송자 mstB의 기능 분석)

  • To screen downstream genes of Aspergillus nidulans MsnA showing amino acid sequence similarity to the zinc finger region of Msn2/4 stress response transcription factors in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, differentially expressed genes (DEG) in MsnA overexpressed or msnA null mutant strains compared to wild type have been isolated. The cognate gene IDs were identified by DNA sequencing of the selected DEGs. Among those, DEG6 was known as mstB encoding a putative monosaccharide transporter. Expression level of mstB mRNA was increased in MsnA overproducing strains and MsnA bound directly to the promoter region of mstB in vitro. MstB containing twelve transmembrane domains exhibited 80% of amino acid sequence identities to A. niger MstA a high-affinity monosaccharide transporter. A null mutant of mstB was phenotypically undistinguishable to wild type. On the other hand, forced overexpression of MstB caused the increased formation of sexual structure cleistothecia in 0.1% glucose condition where wild type showed almost no cleistothecia. This result implies that mstB is involved in transport of monosaccharide required for sexual differentiation.
