A method for quantitative measuring the degree of damage by personal information leakage (개인 정보 노출에 대한 정량적 위험도 분석 방안)

  • This research defines the degree of the threat caused by the leakage of personal information in a quantitative way. The proposed definition classifies the individual items in a personal data, then assigns a risk value to each item. The proposed method considers the increase of the risk by the composition of the multiple items. We also deals with various attack scenarios, where the attackers seek different types of personal information. The concept of entropy applies to associate the degree of the personal information exposed with the total risk value. In our experiment, we measured the risk value of the Facebook users with their public profiles. The result of the experiment demonstrates that they are most vulnerable against stalker attacks among four possible attacks with the personal information.

  • Rapid social and economic growth has brought positive results. At the same time, due to the increase in crime, crime prevention is important. There are many papers that analyze crime trends and crime type. Based on this, there are studies to ensure the safety of people. The study calculated the risk for the crime. it is necessary to exert a great effect on crime prevention alternatives. This paper uses crime data provided from San Francisco and victims data provided from FBI. And, it proposes the crime risk calculation. By analyzing the type of user, risk degree is given different weights according to the user, and assess the risk of crime.

An Analysis of the Sensitivity of Input Parameters for the Seismic Hazard Analysis in the Korean Peninsula (한반도 지진위험도 산출을 위한 입력 파라메타의 민감도 분석)

  • This study is to analyze the sensitivity for the parameters (a and b values, $M_{max}$, attenuation formula, and seismo-tectonic model) which are essential for the seismic hazard map. The values of each parameter were suggested by 10 members of the expert group. The results show that PGA increases as a value and $M_{max}$ become larger and as b value smaller. Big impact on the seismic hazard is observed for attenuation formula, a and b values although there is little impact on $M_{max}$ and seismo-tectonic model. These parameters with big impact require careful consideration for obtaining adequate values that well reflects the seismic characteristics of the Korean peninsula.

  • 우리나라의 최근 수년간 선박의 교통관련 사고(충돌, 좌초, 접촉)를 분석해 보면 가장 많이 일어나는 사고가 충돌이고, 그 다음으로 많이 발생하는 사고는 좌초이다. 그동안 충돌 사고에 관한 연구는 활발히 진행되었지만, 그에 반해 좌초의 사고 빈도가 높음에도 불구하고 많은 연구가 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 선박이 아닌 제 3의 위치에서 실시간으로 좌초 위험도를 계산하는 모델을 연구하였다. 위험도를 수심, DCPA, TCPA를 이용하여 0~100의 값으로 산출하였으며, 이 연구의 최종 목표는 전자해도 상에 색상을 달리하여 해역 전체의 위험도를 표시하는 프로그램을 개발하는 것이다.

  • In the maritime traffic environment, the near-miss between vessels is the situation approaching on collision course but collision accident is not occurred. In this study, in order to calculate the near-miss between navigating vessels, the discriminating equation using ship bumper theory and vessel position clustering methods are proposed. Applying proposed module to the vessel trajectories of the WANDO waterway, we assessment navigational risk factors of vessel type, navigational speed, meeting situation.

  • 본 연구는 한국의 30대 대기업집단의 위험수준을 나타내는 영업레버리지도 및 재무레버리지도를 산출하여 영업위험 및 재무위험을 조사, 분석하였다. 실증분석을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째 우리 기업의 재무위험은 일본기업에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났으나, 영업위험은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째 기업의 자금조달이 시설투자에 유의적인 영향력이 있으며, 이러한 시설투자로 인해 당해년도 및 4년 후 기업의 수익에 정의 효과가 나타났으며, 영업위험보다는 재무위험이 기업의 수익에 대해 더욱 강한 정의 효과를 나타내고 있다. 특히 당해 년도의 순이익과 결합레버리지와는 유의적인 정의관계를 발견할 수 있다. 세째 기업의 금융비용부담이 기업의 레버리지 효과 및 수익에 미치는 영향에 관한 회귀분석 결과 기업의 지급이자에 대한 금융부담이 기업의 순이익에 부의 효과를 나타내고 있다.

Suggestion of Priority Decision Method for Performance Evaluation Based on Risk Index for Small and Medium Sized Bridges (위험도 지수 기반 중소규모 교량 성능평가 우선순위 결정 방안 제안)

  • This paper presents a methodology for priority decision of performance evaluation of small-and-medium-sized highway bridges. This methodology could be used for establishing a maintenance strategy of those bridges which are not liable to the law of the Special Act on the Safety Control and Maintenance of Establishments and are thought laid under blind spot. The risk index are calculated considering vulnerability and social influence, then the bridges are classified as three types, one requiring immediate evaluation, the other one requiring evaluation within next year, and the third one observing, according to the index. The suggested method was applied to a small bridge under service and its field applicability verified. From this study, it was judged that this methodology could be used appropriately for establishing maintenance strategy and saving the maintenance budget.

A Study on the Setting of Regional Oil Recovery Capacity On Water in Korea (우리나라 지역별 해상 기름회수능력 설정에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the regional states of 7 items are analyzed, the regional risks are calculated by using normalized data & analysis hierarchy process to set regional oil recovery capacity. Area on-water oil recovery capacity, $7,500k{\ell}$, is separated and regional on-water oil recovery capacity is determined, based on calculated regional degree of risk. Excessive current oil recovery capacities, setting in Incheon, Gunsan, Mokpo, Busan region, are as a result distributed to the other regions in each area. In case of central region, Daesan is increased as much as $1,475k{\ell}$, Yeosu is increased as much as $375k{\ell}$, Ulsan is increased as much as $475k{\ell}$. The regional on-water oil recovery capacity, considering both the cause of accident aspects and marine environmental & economic aspects, is estimated as more balanced distribution model, compared to current standard of on-water oil recovery capacity.
