Evaluation of Menu Quality Management in Business & Industry Contract Foodservice from Manager′s Viewpoint (사업체 위탁 급식소에서 제공되는 메뉴에 대한 관리자 측면에서의 품질 관리 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze and evaluate the menu served in business & industry contract foodservice by assessing nutritional value and by using menu-engineering technique from managers' view point. CAN-Pro program and Kasavana k Smith's Menu Engineering technique were used to evaluate the nutritional value and menu analysis, respectively. The data were analyzed using the SAS package program for descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson Correlation Analysis. As the result of nutritional value of lunch menu, all nutrient contents per meal were higher than a third of Korean recommended dietary allowances(RDA), But there was no problem when 20∼30% of plate waste was considered. Carbohydrate : Protein fat ratio was 62.7 : 16.4 : 20.8. Because animal : vegetable source ratios of protein, fat, calcium, iron were 44 : 56, 42 : 58, 22 : 78, 24 : 76, respectively, animal sources of calcium and iron needed to be supplemented. Plural set menus of A site were classified as STAR, PUZZLE, PLOWHORSE, DOG by Menu engineering technique. Set menus and soups & pot-stews among cafeteria menus in C site were operated properly without DOG and PUZZLE item. Side dishes of fishes, meats 8t eggs among cafeteria menus in C site were, for the most part, classified as STAR item, and side dishes of vegetables & salads and noodles among cafeteria menus in C site were STAR, PUZZLE, and DOG items.   • Congress established the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) to ensure that the public has free access to the Government's information. Operated by the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO), the mission of the FDLP is to disseminate information products from all three branches of the Government to over 1,250 Depository libraries in the FDLP program nationwide. Depository libraries safeguard the American public's right to information by making Government information in all formats freely available. This paper discusses the role of the GPO and FDLP, the GPO's organizational structure, the Depository library's obligations and responsibilities, services and collections, referrals and networking, and the Depository's future and challenges.

Role of the Conservation Science in Excavating Objects (매장문화재에 대한 보존과학의 역할)

  • The National Museum of Korea bears a responsibility of keeping and caring of unearthed cultural properties according to Cultural Properties Protection Law, No. 3644. As a result, the unearthed cultural properties are stored up in the museum. More than 10,000 units of cultural properties are unearthed each year, and the number is increasing as years go by. However, the keeping facilities of the museum are already over-saturated. Consequently, many unearthed cultural properties are entrusted to university museums that have poor facilities and a few experts. More pressing problem is that these cultural properties are not under the proper protection of scientific conservation. One reason is that there are not many conservation scientists in our country. Only five members are working as conservation experts at the National Museum of Korea and 20 or so nation-wide. We propose to establish a new system and organization which will take charge of the conservation and care of the cultural properties, and consist of scientific keeping facilities and expert personnel (conservation scientists) to solve these problems.

  • The responsibility of keeping and caring of unearthed cultural properties belongs to the National Museum according to cultural properties protection law(law No.3644). So unearthed cultural properties are possessed by the museum after going through the regular course. Number of those cultural properties is increasing swiftly. Every year more than ten thousand units of cultural properties are unearthed. The number of unearthed cultural properties is expected to increase in the future. Howeve, the keeping facilities of the National Museum are already over-saturated. So many unearthed cultural properties are being entrusted to university museums that have bad facilities and few personnel. It makes many problems including inadequate caring. More pressing problem is that those cultural properties are not under the protection of scientific conservation processing and caring. The reason is that there are so few conservation scientists in Korea. There is no independent department of conservation science even in the National Museum, where only five members are working as conservation experts. To solve those problems, new system and organization which win take charge of conservation and care of cultural properties, that is, an organization which will consist of scientific keeping facilities and expert personnel (conservation scientists) is needed immediately.

Analysis of Public Library Statistics in Korea: Focusing on the Overview and Facility of Public Libraries (한국의 공공도서관 통계에 대한 분석 연구: 도서관 기본 정보 및 시설 현황을 중심으로)

  • This study analyzed the trends and current status in public libraries in Korea for 14 years, focusing on the overview and facilities of public libraries using public library statistics from 2007 to 2020. The research data were collected from the National Library Statistics System and compared with the population and GDP per capita of Korea. As a result, the number of public libraries in Korea is 1,172 as of 2020, which has nearly doubled compared to 2007, and it was found that this increase has a very strong correlation with GDP per capita and population. There were 229 contracting out public libraries operating by the local government in 2020, and the contracting out rate increased from 18.8% in 2007 to 25.1%. Although the site area of public libraries varies greatly from library to library, it tends to get larger over time. The total floor area of public libraries operating by the Office of Education is larger than that of public libraries operating by the local government, and it gradually increases over time, but the total floor area of public libraries operating by the local government have decreased slightly. The total number of seats in the library is decreasing in all libraries, and the reading seats for children and the reading seats for the elderly and the disabled tend to slightly increase.

Scope of Protection of Choreography Copyright utilizing the Delphi Techniques (델파이기법을 이용한 안무저작권의 보호범위)

  • The purpose of this study was to establish unified standards on the scope of protection of choreographic works and to suggest methods for the protection of choreography copyright. 20 experts was selected among dance experts or copyright experts and depth interview method, Delphi method and AHP analysis were used. The result was summarized as follows : First, 50 percents of the experts thought pure dance works and popular dance works should be protected by same standard, while 45 percents of the experts suggested different standard. Second, 55 percents of the experts claimed required fixation on certain medium, while 40 percents did not claim required fixation but only expression. Requirement of originality was to independently create choreography and to reflect creative characteristic(65%). 70 percents of experts were positive on defining dance choreography as independent work, while 25 percents were negative. Elements of the choreography protection scope were in following order of importance: pattern of movement, creative and concrete plot, combination of movements and steps, and movement pattern with specific space. Third, methods for the protection of dance copyright in hierarchical classification were in following order of importance : 'copyright education', 'activation of organization of dance copyright trust management', 'choreography registration' and 'inducement of social concern. Fourth, 'Active participation of dance copyright trust management organization' was thought as the most important development plan. 'Improvement of dancers' awareness of copyright', 'inducement of choreography registration', and 'reinforcement of copyright education' followed in order.

  • 우리나라는 2000년 수원국에서 공여국으로 전환 후 ODA 규모를 지속적으로 확대해 왔으며, 2018년 ODA 예산 규모는 약 3조 482억원으로 OECD DAC(개발원조위원회) 회원국 중 총액 기준 15위 규모로 성장했다. 우리나라의 국민총소득(GNI) 대비 ODA 비율은 0.15%(2018년)로, 우리나라는 2030년까지 GNI 대비 0.3%까지 ODA 예산규모를 확대하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 우리나라 하천·수자원 관련 국제개발협력 사업은 2007년 '라오스 메콩강변 종합관리사업'을 시작으로 현재까지 약 40건의 사업이 시행되었다. 시행된 사업중 90%(36건)가 중점협력국가(2016-2020)와의 협력사업이었으며, 24개의 중점협력국 중 물관리가 중점협력분야로 들어가 있는 국가는 17개국이나 그 중 8개국에서만 국제개발협력사업이 시행되었다. 라오스, 인도네시아, 캄보디아가 각각 6건, 필리핀 5건 등으로 일부 국가에 편중되어 국제개발협력사업이 추진되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 그동안 하천·수자원 분야 국제협력사업이 전담기관 없이, 일부 공공기관이나 민간기업의 각각의 네트워크와 노하우에 의존하여 발굴되고 있기 때문이다. 사업을 추진하는 공공기관 및 민간기업이 각자의 네트워크를 활용하여 사업의 발굴부터 시행까지 추진함에 따라 사업추진에 따른 네트워크가 지속되지 않고 단발성으로 끝나는 경우가 많고, 해당 국가에 우선적으로 필요한 사업이 선정되는 것이 아닌 사업을 추진하는 기관의 특성에 맞게 발굴된 사업이 선정되어 왔다. 국제개발협력사업 발굴에서 가장 핵심적인 부분은 상대국가와의 네트워크를 구축하고, 지속적인 교류를 통해 해당 국가에 어떤 하천 및 수자원 관련 문제가 있는지 파악해서 우선적으로 필요한 사업을 제안하는 것이 중요하다. 또한 사업제안서를 수원국이 자체적으로 작성할 수 있는 역량이 부족한 경우가 대부분이기 때문에 우리나라의 사업을 추진하는 기관이 사업제안서를 작성해주고 수원국에서 검토하는 방식으로 사업제안서를 작성해야하는 한계점이 있다. 따라서, 하천분야 국제 협력 네트워크의 지속적인 관리 및 정기적인 하천사업 수요조사 및 구원국의 사업제안서 작성 지원을 위한 전담기관을 선정하여 국제협력사업 추진을 위탁함으로써 네트워크 및 노하우의 누적을 통한 해외사업의 발굴 및 지속가능성을 강화하는 것이 필요하다고 생각된다.

  • In large public construction projects with a certain size or larger that need to be carried out over a number of years, the Authority must secure a budget for construction project management activities by the construction manager. There is no problem if the project management budget secured by the issuing Authority and the project management budget executed by the issuing Authority are the same, but if not, various problems will arise. Therefore, in this study, the following measures were proposed to improve the system for efficient operation of construction project management: First, the construction project management terms and tasks specified in the statutes and the guidelines of government agencies should be unified and the standard for calculating consideration should be unified. Second, the total project cost management guideline should be specified so that the missing construction project manager can receive compensation for the technical proposal. Third, if the project cost is changed in the long-term continuous construction project, the construction project management expense should be adjusted accordingly. Fourth, if construction project management service is required from the Authority, the basis for consignment to a specialized institution should be specified in the total project cost management guideline.

  • The study has try to find out the relationship between airfreight service quality and satisfaction in international forwarding practice which has focused to figure out the mediating role of performance that measured as subjective evaluation on profit. For the purpose of this paper, questionnaire survey has been performed on the relationship among the procedure of the air freight service quality was found to have not only direct influence but also indirect impact through performance on satisfaction. This research made some contribution both academicals and logistic practices. Academically, it is the first research to address the relationship between air freight service quality and profit performance in Korean academic field. Practically, this study provides justification for the investment to improve forwarding service quality. The results of this study bear some implications on international shipping and practice. The quality of the air cargo transportation management system for customer satisfaction and its impact on business performance in the process to make an empirical identifies. The role and influence of the working-level analysis to derive the performance as transportation management, as well as the effectiveness of customer satisfaction for quality and promote a point. Arrange this point take advantage of air cargo companies are composed of service quality management system for the dimension of course aims to foster a competitive advantage in terms of performance.
