아리랑 2호 임무계획검증시스템 개발 및 자동화

  • 관제시스템 중 임무계획시스템은 위성시스템을 이용한 일련의 임무를 수행하는데 있어, 위성의 상태를 고려하여 임무간 상호 충돌이 없도록 최적의 임무계획을 수립하는 시스템이다. 상용화 촬영임무의 증가로 인해 1일 촬영요청수가 증가한다면 임무간 시간충돌 및 자원에 의한 제한 사항을 검증하는데 많은 시간이 소요되고, 임무계획 작성의 오류 가능성이 증가하게 된다. 이러한 어려움을 해결하기 위해서 임무계획검증시스템이 제안되고 개발되었다. 임무계획검증시스템은 임무계획시스템과 연동되어 운영되도록 설계되었으며, 검증기능 외에도 교신 스케줄 자동생성 기능을 포함하고 있다. 임무계획검증시스템의 주요기능은 임무계획검증, 명령계획검증, 교신스케줄생성 기능을 가지고 있으며, 각 모듈에서 생성된 내용은 공통 데이터베이스로 운영된다.

Feasibility of Using Norad Orbital Elements for Pass Programming and Catalog Generation for High Resolution Satellite Images (고해상도 위성영상 촬영계획 수립 및 카탈로그 생성을 위한 NORAD 궤도 데이터의 이용 가능성 연구)

  • At present, many ground stations all over the world are using NORAD orbit element data in order to track and communicate with Earth orbiting satellites. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) observes thousands of Earth orbiting objects on daily basis and provides their orbital information via internet. The orbital data provided by NORAD, which is also called two line element (TLE) sets, allows ground stations to predict the time-varying positions of satellites accurately enough to communicate with the satellites. In order to complete the mission of a high resolution remote sensing satellite which requires very high positional determination and control accuracy, however, a mission control and tracking ground station is dedicated for the observation and positional determination of the satellite rather than using NORAD orbital sets. In the case of KITSAT-3, NORAD orbital elements are currently used for image acquisition planning and for the processing of acquired images due to the absence of a dedicated KITSAT-3 tracking ground system. In this paper, we tested and analyzed the accuracy of NORAD orbital elements and the appropriate prediction model to determine how accurately a satellite acquisites an image of the location of interest and how accurately a ground processing system can generate the catalog of the images.

  • Antenna pointing analysis for a geostationary satellite has been performed for using the NORAD Two-Line-Elements (TLE) converted from osculating Keplerian orbital elements. In order to check the possibility of the reception of the satellite signal, the antenna offset angles have been derived for the Communications, Ocean, and Meteorological Satellite (COMS) which carries out weekly East-West and North-South station-keeping maneuvers and twice a day thruster assisted momentum dumping. Throughout the analysis, it is shown that the use of converted NORAD TLE simplifies the antenna pointing related interfaces in satellite mission control system. For a highly eccentric transfer orbit cases, further analysis presents that the converted NORAD TLE from near apogee gives more favorable results.

과학기술위성3호 사용자를 위한 관측요청 및 관측데이터 인터페이스

  • 과학기술위성3호는 170kg의 소형위성으로 2006년 사업을 착수하였으며, 올 2012년 12월에 러시아에서 발사할 예정이다. 주탑재체는 다목적 적외선 영상시스템 (MIRIS, Multi-Purpose IR Imaging System)으로 천문연에서 개발을 담당하였으며 우주관측과 지구관측을 수행한다. 우주관측은 $0.9-2{\mu}m$ 대역을 관측에서 은하면의 근적외선 방출광을 탐사하여 우리은하 고온가스의 기원 및 성간 난류의 물리적 특성을 연구한다. 또한 황도극지방을 추가로 관측하여 적외선 우주배경복사의 기원의 연구에 활용될 것이다. 지구관측은 $3-5{\mu}m$의 파장대역으로 한반도의 재해 및 환경변화의 연구에 활용될 예정이다. 부탑재체는 소형영상분광기 (COMIS, Compact Imaging Spectrometer)로 공주대에서 개발을 하였으며 $0.4-1.05{\mu}m$ 파장대역의 지표면 분광영상의 획득이 주요 임무이다. 소형영상분광기를 위하여 다양한 관측방법 (Strip, Stereo, Slow Skew)을 시도하며, 관측된 분광영상은 수질, 작황, 황사, 근해 환경변화 등 다양한 분야에 활용될 것으로 기대한다. 우주관측임무는 확정되어 주어진 임무기간동안 정해진 일정대로 우주관측을 수행되며, 지구관측임무는 사용자의 요구에 따라 관측지역 및 관측 횟수가 추후에 결정될 것이다. 과학기술위성3호는 기술적으로 기존 과학기술위성 시리즈 보다 향상된 위성체, 탑재체 시스템으로 주어진 우주 및 지구과학 임무를 성공적으로 수행할 것으로 예상되며, 또한 우주 및 지구과학의 연구를 위해 여러 분야에서 활동하는 국내 사용자의 적극적인 참여도 기대하고 있다. 본 발표에서는 다양한 사용자의 관측요청 접수를 위한 지상관제시스템의 설명과 임무관측을 통해 획득된 관측데이터의 전달 방법에 대해 논의한다.

통신위성 원격측정명령계 RF 링크버짓 개념설계 연구

  • A conceptual design on the link budget of TC&R RF subsystem which transfers command and telemetry data as RF signal between the ground system and the 2005SAT spacecraft is presented in this paper. In order to perform the analysis of the link budget, we divided the analysis process into two processes, i.e., uplink and downlink process. For the uplink the power flux density at the spacecraft and the margin of the command receiver are calculated. In the case of the downlink the downlink EIRP and the margin of C/ No and Eb / No at the ground station are calculated. Through the uplink performance analysis, the power at the command receiver has well efficient margin, and the margin of C/ No and Eb / No is also fully proper for the downlink case.

  • This paper describes the devlopment and implementation for the KOMPSAT-1 scheduling & automatic command plan generator(KSCG). Some problems in mission planning and command planning had occurred using the mission & command planning s/w in MAPS(Missin Analysis and Planning Subsystem) during the LEOP(Launch & Early Orbit Phase) & early normal mission phase due to lots of manual input process and non-automatic process. Therefore, the more mission operations for KOMPSAT-1. In order to prevent the development of new one(KSCG) which should reduce the manual process and generate automatically the command plan has been needed. As a result, the mission operations of KOMPSAT-1 has greatly became stable and more effient.

  • Automatic Identification System used in ship communication is required for marine control way, including monitoring of vessel operation in coastal and exchanging of information for safety navigation between them. But, it uses a very high frequency band of approximately 160 MHz, and at the same time, due to the curvature of Earth, there is a limit to the communication distance. Several demonstrations were made successfully over satellite, but not much work has been done yet through cube-satellite which has low-orbit at 500 km altitude. Here, we demonstrate a reception test of AIS (automatic identification system) receiver for a cube-satellites using software-defined radio (SDR). We collected AIS data from ship at port of Busan, Korea, using R8202T2 SDR and established to transmit them using Adam-Pluto and Matlab Simulink. The process of weakening the signal strength to a satellite was constructed using attenuator. Through above process, we demonstrated whether AIS data was successfully received from the AIS payload.

  • Small-sized domestic logistics-companies are required to satisfy the high quality of logistics information service. However, these companies are not prepared to complete customers' requirement because of the e-logistics process, excess of logistics distribution steps, and so forth. Moreover, large-sited foreign logistics companies are going into domestic market and trying to share the market. In this paper, we propose an ASP-based real-time Logistics Information Control System using location-based service(LBS) and logistics information service to reinforce the competitiveness of domestic logistics-companies and improve the customer service quality. This system is designed to trace and control the real-time logistics movement information by using GPS and to process the transportation information by using SMS.

  • ICAO has recommended the introduction of New CNS/ATM based on GNSS technologies and Data link communication to purpose increasing air traffic demand. The CNS/ATM is composed of communication, Navigation, Surveillance and Air Traffic Management. Cockpit Display Traffic Information(CDTI) that is equipment to share air traffic information to Pilot, Traffic Controller and ground vehicles has been built based on Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast(ADS-B) information in Surveillance field. This paper is research that what is the effect between pilot and controller through CDTI. Based on ATC communication between Pilot and Controller, We construct simulation environment and did a comparative analysis of it. according to result, We can verify that CDTI makes aircraft Call sign, Position, Altitude information read rate, and notice of air traffic information between Pilot and Controller more improve than ATC environment and Existing Radar System.

  • The maritime autonomous surface ship is automatically collects and manages various information necessary for the operation to minimize human intervention and safely perform the mission assigned to the ship. And the ship may autonomously operate the partial or entire route to the destination determined by the ship himself. This ship navigation technology allows partially remote control the ship to be operated if necessary. The maritime autonomous surface ship (MASS) should collect and manage signals of various navigation communication equipments and engines mounted on the ship for safe operation. This requires a common platform technology. In this paper, we propose a common platform that is the core of smart ship implementation. Territorial authorities and ships are connected by satellite or terrestrial communication. In such a communication environment, information is exchanged smoothly in real time. This allows the onshore authorities to monitor ships and provide remote control to enable safe vessel navigation at sea.
