The 7th education curriculum requires for the aggressive collection and reflection of demands of students, teachers, parents, and local community, necessary for the school operation. In this regard, this study attempts to design and establish the web questionnaire system for the effective school operation. Web-based Survey system, presented in this study, is designed by being divided into administrator(investigator) and respondents, and administrator can manage questionnaires and identify the results by just connecting Internet. In addition, it is designed to do question drawing and statistics in real time within the system without the separate program, by providing file database related to the questions. This system makes the questionnaire survey of school unit easy and fast by being used as a menu in the homepage of school and operated as a single system.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the level of background knowledge and the metacognition supporting tool (MST) on the learning activities and outcomes in a web problem based learning environment from the theoretical perspectives of PBL (problem-based-learning) in the Web and metacognition. Results suggest that the level of learners' background knowledge could play a slight role in problem oriented learning activities. This was because learning tasks were characterized by ill-structured problems in Web-based problem learning and this sort of learning might have been a somewhat newer experience for the selected students. Providing MST for learners' PBL activities, however, was highly beneficial for learners who practice PBL in Web based learning environments. In addition, for PBL outcomes, variables like problem solution reporting documents. the use of MST had a more positive effect on the lower level learners' background knowledge than the higher level learners'.

Automatic Weather Systems (AWS) were placed at many educational as well as governmental institutes for the measurement of weather in Korea. However, weather information from AWS was not used as a real time system because of the complexity of the web display. For the web display ;ud automatic store of weather data to be used as a real time system, KNU Weather Now-V1.0 was developed. The system is very simple but useful for students and other users. Thus, everybody can use stored weather data and can process the data easily. This study focuses on the development of the system and the educational usage of AWS.

The development of Semantic Web basically requires knowledge induced from the formalization and semantization of information, and thus ontology should be introduced as a knowledgization tool. URI(Universal Resource Identifier) is an indispensible scheme to uniquely indicate individuals on ontology. However, it is difficult to find the use cases of URI in real data including science and technology papers. This paper describes the method to construct internal and external human resource information based on URI from the papers. We use co-authors, e-mails, publication date, and affiliation for discriminating authors with the same strings. HRST(Human Resources devoted to Science and Technology) is referred to acquire URIs for human resource. We expect the internal and external human resource information would be adopted to outcome analysis applications such as researcher network analysis and outcome statistics.

This research demonstrated the efficiency, when compared to the textbook-based learning method, of developing web-based Courseware and utilizing it in the class so that students could study on their own the mobile parts of Technology-home economics. The contents are as follows: It is designed based on Namo Web Editor 5.1, in conjunction with Java script, PHP, Mysql, and so on. Procedures are as follows: First, students learn a small unit and then have a quiz. After logging in, they are tested on what they have learned. Finally, they send the result to the teacher by e-mail. To verify the results of this research, we make two groups. Each group has 34 students. One group are taught by using developed Courseware program, the other group are taught by present teaching program.The result shows the difference in achievement to the extent of significance P<0.05. In conclusion, it proved to be effective.

This research examines how PBL(Problem-based Learning; PBL) system affects to 'Self-directed learning ability', by developing and applying it to the participants of "Science Cyber Conference" - the web based on-line debating learning program - among those students of the Affiliated Institute of Science gifted education of K University, for 16weeks. With this, also the cognizance of learners for the PBL class process are looked into together. After conducting the program applied with the web-based PBL strategy, the participants 'Self-directed learning ability' showed the remarkable change statistically (p<.05). Especially it showed the meaningful changes in six sections (p<.05), among those subdivided seven sections of 'Self-directed learning ability', with the one exception, 'Self-confidence as a Learner'. They also showed the positive response to the class which adopted the web-based PBL strategy.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the structural relationship between the use of a web medium and learning commitment to develop creative talent for higher media integrated Korean classical literature education. For this we used DBs of The 'Encyclopedia of Korean Local Culture(a local culture DB)' built by the Academy of Korean Studies, and a survey was conducted on 418 high school students, attending a classical literature class which used a local culture DB. The result of this study demonstrates media usefulness of local culture DBs' positive effect on learning commitment. Specifically, media richness and media experience affects the learning commitment through the medium usefulness. These results indicate that in order to encourage learner's medium experience and increase medium richness it is necessary to increase the utilization of mediums, such as local culture DBs.

Under the recent global business environment and active e-commerce era through digital media, the decision on the exporting companies' brand and web domain development is a very crucial strategic choice. Especially, since web domain development is closely related with company's brand strategy, this study is conducted to research the decisive factors of exporting brand strategy on the basis of the need research results on Korean exporting company's overseas brand and domain development strategy. As presented in statistical results, in case of Korean exporting businesses, the level of OEM brand export was when there was high export competitiveness and the level of OEM brand export was high when there was higher uncertainty about the environment. This supports the hypotheses on the basis of existing research documents. However, the similarities of markets failed to bring out any statistical meaningful influence. As the second result, businesses with high export competitiveness tend to select global brand strategy and businesses with high environment uncertainty tend to choose local brand strategy. However, the similarity of markets failed to show any statistical meaningful influence.

However, it is difficult to find the use cases of identifiers or URIs in real data sets including science & technology publications. This paper describes the method to construct, manage, and serve reference information based on URI which is a crucial component on establishing national R&D reference information ontology. We expect the reference information which was acquired from about 7,000 proceeding papers would be adopted to Semantic Web applications such as researcher network analysis and outcome statistics.

This study aims to develop a LOS(Length of Stay) bench-making system that can provide efficient by comparing the LOS management of other hospital and level evaluation for inducing the LOS to manage their own activities. The convergence LOS bench-making web program has been implemented to compare a variety of beds, regional group, followed reporting with excel files downloads by using the severity-adjusted LOS model of Korean National Hospital Discharge in-depth Injury Survey data. Features that are computed in real-time severity-adjusted LOS was also implemented. Trial operating results, bench-making system was confirmed efficient for management of LOS on the long-term care and group of disease in hospital from the staff or medical department, receive requests comparative statistics by area and disease group. Therefore the policy alternative on extension of severity-adjusted LOS is needed to utilized bench-making system on LOS.
