An Implementation of Realtime News Service Using RSS and VoiceXML (RSS와 VoiceXML을 이용한 실시간 뉴스 서비스의 구현)

  • 높은 컴퓨터 보급률에 따른 인터넷의 대중화로 인하여 새로운 소식을 원하는 사람들은 기존의 정해진 시각에 전달되는 지면 신문보다 인터넷을 통해 새로운 소식을 접하는 경향이 높아지면서, 국내의 각 언론사들은 RSS(RDF Site Summary)문서를 제공하기 시작하였다. 차세대 웹인 시맨틱 웹의 여러 가지 규격 및 기술 중에서도 그 유용함과 편리성을 인정받아 우리 생활에 가장 먼저 적용되고 있는 RSS는 컨텐츠 배급을 위해 나온 XML형태의 규격 중 하나로서 웹사이트에서 사용자가 원하는 정보의 갱신된 내용을 신속하게 사용자에게 전달하는 자동 정보 수집 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 특정 언론사에서 제공하는 RSS문서에 음성인식 및 합성기술을 기반으로 동작하는 다른 XML형태의 규격인 음성 확장성 생성 언어(VoiceXML)를 접목하여 휴대전화 및 유선전화로 새로운 뉴스를 접할 수 있는 서비스를 제안하고 구현하였다. 실험 결과, 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 신뢰성 있는 언론사의 새로운 뉴스를 실시간으로 전달받을 수 있음을 확인하였다.

A Design of Context-Aware Middleware based on Web Services in Ubiquitous Environment (유비쿼터스 환경에서 웹 서비스에 기반한 상황 인식 미들웨어의 설계)

  • Context-aware technologies for ubiquitous computing are necessary to study the representation of gathered context-information appropriately, the understanding of user's intention using context-information, and the offer of pertinent services for users. In this paper, we propose the WS-CAM(Web Services based Context-Aware Middleware) framework for context-aware computing. WS-CAM provides ample power of expression and inference mechanisms to various context-information using an ontology-based context model. We also consider that WS-CAM is the middleware-independent structure to adopt web services with characteristic of loosely coupling as a matter of communication of context-information. In this paper, we describe a scenario for lecture services based on the ubiquitous computing e e e e e e to verify the utilization of WS-CAM We also show an example of middleware-independent system expansion to display the merits of web-based services. WS-CAM for lecture services represented context-information itodomaits as OWL-based ontology model effectively, and we confirmed the information is inferred to high level context-information by user-defined rules. We also confirmed the context-information is transferred to application services middleware-independently using various web methods provided by web services.

  • Until the 4th Industrial Revolution fused the Web with diverse technologies, the only factor in evaluating the performance of a Web application was the loading speed of the Web application. Therefore, most existing Web application performance analysis tools focus on the speed at which Web applications run in a Web browser. However, the web is now being used not only in a simple web browser but also in a variety of services. So, in addition to simple speed, there are more elements to be checked to evaluate web applications. Therefore, in this paper, we design a server to perform web application performance analysis considering progressive web app, accessibility, best practice, and search engine optimization as well as the above mentioned speed. Also, we realize a REST API based server that can provide web application performance services without being affected by user's devices or environment.

  • 양자 CMOS 이미지와 QD-OLED 하이드로겔 저온 증폭 기술을 활용하여 기존 코로나 진단법의 한계를 극복하고, Machine Learning 모델을 통해 자동화된 바이러스 검출 시스템을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 통해 전문가 개입 없이도 높은 정확도로 질병 진단을 수행하는 웹 서비스를 구축함으로써, 코로나와 같은 전염병의 조기 진단과 효율적인 대응을 위한 새로운 도구를 제공하는 것이 목표이다. 이를 통해 의료 분야에서의 혁신과 질병관리의 향상에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • In Ubiquitous computing environment, as the requirements of various services and combination of personal digital assistant are increasing, the standards and technologies have been developing all over the world. Also, ubiquitous government is planning to provide seamless service therefore, the demand is very high about infrastructure of service combination which connects various governmental systems. As a result, it is required that the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and technical developments which combine various services, devices and terminal accepting to use seamless service convergence in ubiquitous computing environment. In this paper, I suggest to combine for a single web service to use Business Process Management (BPM). It can be expected to develop technologies efficiently and effectively by reusing web services, and reducing mistakes and faults of the development.

  • 유비쿼터스 네트워크가 완성되려면 IT 기술의 고도화가 전제돼야 한다. 통신망의 광대역화, 컨버전스(융합)기술의발전, 어느 공간에서나 휴대폰이나 PDA, 더 발전된 무선 디바이스 등을 이용할 수 있도록 이에 맞는 서비스 개발을 서둘러야 한다. 다양한 플랫폼에 대한 투자를 적극적으로 추진해야 할 때가 온 것이다. GIS 정보는 이러한 유비퀴터스 환경하의 주요한 핵심 정보라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 XML 표준을 바탕으로 W3C 의 웹 서비스와 시맨틱 웹 기술을 응용하여 유비쿼터스 환경의 다양한 컴퓨터 환경에 지식을 효과적으로 제공하는 기술을 연구 개발한다.

  • e-Science는 차세대 가상 협업 연구 패러다임으로, 필요한 연구 자원들을 융합하여 연구자들에게 제공함으로써 언제 어디서든지 자유롭게 협동 연구를 할 수 있도록 하는 환경 또는 연구 활동 그 자체를 의미한다. 이러한 e-Science의 필수 요소들 중 하나로 문제 해결 환경을 들 수 있는데, 문제 해결 환경이란 어떤 특정 영역의 문제를 풀기위해 필요한 모든 계산 자원을 제공하는 하나의 컴퓨터 시스템을 말한다. 본 논문에서는 e-Science 환경을 위한 웹 기반의 병렬 문제 해결 환경을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 전자기파 관련 분야의 전산모사를 병렬로 수행하며, 웹 기반의 인터페이스를 제공한다.

  • We developed a convenience-featured Web browser which is intended to enhance Web users' convenience. The integrated convenience functions are VPV(Visited Page Viewer), APV(Aligned Page Viewer), USC(User Specified Capture), and VAC(Video and Audio Converter) which is the most important feature of FLV(FLash Video file) in UCC (User Created Contents). The four functions are considered ad the most needed functions to the Web users and we referred to the opinion of frequent and advanced Web users. We addressed important algorithms and techniques in terms of the implementation of the above four functions. The implementation methods based on the MDI application using rendering technique same as in Internet Explorer 6.0 are shown with codes. The results of implementation is compared with the survey conducted on 134 Computer Science and Multimedia Engineering major students. All four integrated functions are considered to be useful.

  • We face problems from excessive information served with websites in this rapidly changing information era. We find little information useful and much useless and spend a lot of time to select information needed. Many websites including search engines use web crawling in order to make data updated. Web crawling is usually used to generate copies of all the pages of visited sites. Search engines index the pages for faster searching. With regard to data collection for wholesale and order information changing in realtime, the keyword-oriented web data collection is not adequate. The alternative for selective collection of web information in realtime has not been suggested. In this paper, we propose a method of collecting information of restricted web sites by using Web crawling distributed monitoring system (R-WCMS) and estimating collection time through detailed analysis of data and storing them in parallel system. Experimental results show that web site information retrieval is applied to the proposed model, reducing the time of 15-17%.

  • In the knowledge and information society which came into being with the advancements made in information and communication technology, there is an increasing perception of the importance of having knowledge and therefore being able to appropriately respond to the rapidly-changing society. Along with this, for the paradigm that stresses creativity and character, there must accompany advanced ways of conducting education which are capable of supporting changes in the educational objectives and contents. With respect to this, there is a need for sustained and long-term research into ways of utilizing SNS and ICT in the field of education. Accordingly, in this paper, a digital curation system was developed for educational contents that aim to develop one's creativity and character. Recently, web hacking is taking place actively. In this paper, a digital curation system that is secure against WebShell - one of the web hacking methods - is analyzed, as well as how to appropriately deal with this type of an attack.
