A Development of Thin Client based Video Guide Service Using Video Virtualization and WebRTC (영상 가상화와 WebRTC를 이용한 고사양 저가 단말 기반 화상 안내 서비스 개발)

  • In this paper, we have developed the application of a remote multi-lingual video guide that allows interaction with Set Top Box of a thin client by using the WebRTC, an web browser-based communication method. A server accesses a web camera in conjunction with digital information display of a thin client connected remotely and is exchanged guide information with user. This server can be played in thin client STB using virtualization based the high-quality video compression technology. Further, it is not dependent on the performance of the STB and provides a video guide remotely.

  • 최근 코로나 19에 대한 세계적인 팬데믹 선언에 의해 의료서비스의 변화가 오고 있다. 특히, 국내 법제도적으로 묶여 있던 원격 서비스에 대한 재검토가 되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 커넥티드 라디올로지 케어 시스템은 모바일 의료영상진단기기를 기반으로 의료사각지대에 있는 환자들의 영상촬영과 이에 대한 판독 서비스를 제공하기 위한 시스템이다. 제안한 시스템은 의료환경에 적용하기 위해 환자의 개인정보 보호를 위한 방법과 절차가 반드시 포함되어야 한다. 이를 위해 전체 시스템 구조와 익명화 처리과정을 보인다. 그리고 끝으로 구축된 시스템의 수행과정을 보인다.

A Study of the Factors Affecting Expected Benefits of Medical Services via Telemedicine (원격의료서비스에 대한 기대 편익 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The present study explored factors that influence consumers' benefit expectancy about telemedicine service. Responses from a national online survey of 927 adults (aged 19-59), collected in January 2016, were analyzed with multiple regression analysis. The results revealed: (1) Health consciousness positively influenced all three benefit expectancies (all ps < .05); (2) Doctor-patient communication efficacy positively influenced expectancy for convenience improvement (${\beta}=.107$, p < .01) and service quality improvement (${\beta}=.086$, p < .05); (3) Use of health-related smart applications contributed to positive expectancy for service quality improvement (${\beta}=.081$, p < .05) and cost-saving (${\beta}=.067$, p < .05). Some of the relationships were moderated by gender and residence. This convergence study, which examined public's perception about telemedicine from the perspectives of consumer psychology, media, and public health, provides practical implications to promote telemedicine service and educate consumers about it.

  • Recently, cooperative intelligent transport systems (C-ITS) testbeds have been deployed in great numbers, and advanced autonomous driving research using V2X communication technology has been conducted actively worldwide. In particular, the broadcasting services in their beginning days, giving warning messages, basic safety messages, traffic information, etc., gradually developed into advanced network services, such as platooning, remote driving, and sensor sharing, that need to perform real-time. In addition, technologies improving these advanced network services' throughput and latency are being developed on many fronts to support these services. Notably, this research analyzed the network latency requirements of the advanced network services to develop a remote driving service for the droid type low-speed robot based on the 3GPP C-V2X communication technology. Subsequently, this remote driving service's performance was evaluated using system modeling (that included the operator behavior) and simulation. This evaluation showed that a respective core and access network latency of less than 30 ms was required to meet more than 90 % of the remote driving service's performance requirements under the given test conditions.

  • This study is to propose an acceptance model that explains the use of telemedicine effects for chronic disease. For this purpose, the effect factors and variables for Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) were investigated through a structural equation model by performing a sample survey for 210 senior patients who are under treatment with telemedicine in Kangwon area in 2013. The findings from the results are as follows: 1) perceived usefulness and perceived easy of use influence the intent to use telemedicine; 2) open-minded patients group is more positive to the easy of use and usefulness for the telemedicine; 3) it matches with the previous research that shows the trust in telemedicine system is affected by the experience for practical use of information; 4) it is known that the external control factors for health affect perceived usefulness positively. This study contributes to optimize the TAM by verifying the acceptance of telemedicine system in a rural community.

Also. in this system, we support the various 500 contents, other efficiently services and it is a self-learning(asynchronous) distance education application(HTML, PDF. Front Page) on cyber-space using the information super highway It will make the cyber education center from new paradigm of distance education. The purpose of OPenEdu provides a async. distance education service, free of charge to obtain many various contents on internet. The future study is enhanced user interface and upgraded content quality.

  • Delivery efficiency of e-learning media can be influenced by authoring processes. Generally, a moving picture recorded by video camera can be delivered to student by multimedia streaming service, using media server technology. A e-learning media authored by lecture authoring tool is played in a student application by download-based delivery system. Recently, some animation know-how are applied to author e-learning media by hand-operation. In this paper, we suggest a client-based streaming service for the e-leaning media consists of media files and integration data The lecture of e-learning media nay be divided into some time-based small blocks. Each blocks can be located distributed site. The student system gather those blocks by download-scheduling. This is a valid method for QoS guarantee streaming services. In addition to our study, lecturers can author composite e-learning media includes media files and dynamic web pages simply, The distributed e-learning media files of our study is managed by multi-author and updated rapidly.

  • The purpose of this study is to design and implement a maritime telemedicine system to provide the best medical service for patients who rescue and happens in sailing ship. For this purpose, INMARSAT and MVAST, which are necessary communication channels for maritime telemedicine, were examined and diversity in maritime communication path was suggested. It was implemented to enable maritime telemedicine by linking smart devices and medical devices for physical examination. The marine telemedicine system adopts the HTTP communication protocol to configure the web server and process the client request. The patient's chart information was entered using an application for AndroidPad and the patient was diagnosed using Bluetooth electronic stethoscope for diagnosis. This system enables appropriate medical treatment to emergency patients at maritime, which ultimately can improve medical services. It is expected to be a more effective medical support system through linkage with various medical equipment.

  • There are two reasons that the remote medical is newly embossed. One is the development of the info-communications technology that is possible to the remote diagnosis. Another is changing the thinking about the new medical services for the offerers and consumers. Therefore, we suggest the mobile-environmental remote diagnosis system. The system could apply more efficient connection with the very fast developing diagnosis and medical treatment.

  • 최근 IEC는 변전소 자동화 시스템의 국제표준인 IEC 61850을 기반으로 하는 풍력 발전단지의 원격 감시 제어를 위한 통신시스템 표준인 IEC 61400-25를 발표하였다. 본 논문에서는 가상의 풍력 발전 통신 시스템을 SISCO 사의 "MMS-EASE Lite" 개발 도구를 사용하여 풍력 발전의 원격 감시 제어를 위한 서버와 클라이언트 간의 MMS 통신 서비스를 구현한다. 또한 IEC 61400-25 기반의 웹 인터페이스 구현을 위하여 뛰어난 확장성을 가진 XML(Extensible Markup Language, 확장성 생성 언어) 언어를 사용하여 풍력 발전단지의 논리 노드(Logical Node)를 구성하고, 원격 감시를 위한 웹 인터페이스를 구현하는 방법을 제안하고 실제 인터넷 환경에서 검증한다.
