A Study on Smoking, Drinking and Safety Awareness using Raw Data in the 8th year of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(2019) (국민건강영양조사 제8기 1차년도(2019년) 원시자료를 활용한 흡연, 음주와 안전의식 연구)

  • The purpose of this study attempted to provide basic data for the safety awareness intervention program by identifying smoking, drinking and safety awareness survey using raw data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES VIII-1, 2019). The self-reported questionnaire was used to assess the gender, age, smoking, drinking, and safety awareness. Descriptive statistics and chi-square test were used for the general characteristics according to gender and the difference between smoking and drinking. positive thinking, emotional expressivity, public speaking anxiety. The SPSS WIN 23.0 version program was used for data analysis. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Chi-square test were used for the general characteristics according to gender and the difference between smoking and drinking. There were significant difference between wearing a seat belt while driving and smoking for life (𝑥2=6581.46, p<.001). Among safety awareness, there was a statistically significant difference between wearing a seat belt while driving and lifelong drinking experience (𝑥2=6421.29, p<.001). It is considered that this can be used to prepare a customized smoking prevention education and alcohol prevention education intervention program to improve safety awareness.

  • 산업경제구조의 변화로 경험이 풍부한 전문가들이 은퇴하고 경험이 적은 직원들이 그들의 업무를 대신하는 구조로 조직이 변화하고 있다. 동시에 녹색성장시대의 도래로 화석연료를 사용하는 설비에 대한 투자가 줄면서 점차로 노후화되는 경향을 보이고 있어 불필요한 운전 과도현상에서 기인된 극단적인 손상은 설비자체 및 전력공급계통 전체에 치명적이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 석탄화력발전소 제어 시스템은 이러한 사안들을 안정적으로 이끌어 나가기 위한 중요한 요소로 저비용 고효율 발전소 유지를 위해 중점적으로 발전시켜 나가야 할 부분이다. 본 논문은 석탄화력발전소의 주구성요소인 보일러와 터빈을 제어하는 마스터 제어기의 복잡한 로직을 모델 기반의 간단한 로직으로 개발하여 시뮬레이션 한 결과를 실제 발전소에 적용하기 위한 내용을 기술하였다. 실제 발전소는 많은 위험요소들을 안고 있기 때문에 시뮬레이션에서 나타나는 급격한 제어동작을 수용할 수 없을 경우도 있으며, 실제 다른 많은 변수들이 제어불안정 요소로 작용할 수 있다. 차후 실제 적용한 결과는 예측제어의 사용과 같은 제어시스템 향상을 위한 개발과 운영효율 향상에 사용될 것이다. 튜닝 과정에서의 연구결과는 시간절약과 제어부분 결함제거 등 직원들의 전문지식 향상 등에 도움을 주게 될 것이다.

  • Generally, liquid radioactive wastes generated in nuclear power plant exist in powder form which do not contain moisture through the evaporating process of the Liquid Waste Management System and drying process of the Concentrated Waste Drying System. This powder form wastes are blended homogeneously with paraffin solidification agent and packed in metal drum to ensure its stability during handling and disposal. However, it was experienced that the powder form wastes were not blended homogeneously and separated into two layers in metal drum, on the other hand, a Portion of powder was adhered and solidified to the Inside parts of facility during the blending process. And the flaw of blending process above would come in case the mole ratio of Boron to Sodium in liquid radioactive wastes exceeds 0.2.

A Study on Driver Experience in Autonomous Car Based on Trust and Distrust Model of Automation System (자율주행 자동차 환경에서의 운전자 경험에 대한 연구: 신뢰와 불신 형성 모형 중 심으로)

  • Recently technological drive on autonomous vehicle is on the rush. Along with the trend, researches on driver's perspective are increasing. However, previous studies have limitations in terms of study period and rich experience. In this paper, we conducted an ethnographically inspired fieldwork to observe human-autonomous car interaction. We had six participants to ride a prototype autonomous car on the real road for six days. After, we generated trust, distrust factors according to Lee & See's categorization of trust dimension: process, performance, and purpose. We derived eight distrust factors that saliently influences passenger's experience in autonomous vehicle. Our research broadens trust model into autonomous driving context based on real road field study and contributes to automotive community with design guidelines to increase trust toward autonomous vehicle.

Factors which Influence Customers' Intention to Switch from Call-Based Driver-for-hire Services to App-Based Driver-for-hire Services Based on Online to Offline (O2O) Business Model: Focusing on Kakao Driver service (콜 대리업체 서비스에서 O2O 방식이 적용된 대리운전 사업 모델로의 소비자 전환 의도에 관한 연구: 카카오 드라이버를 중심으로)

  • Online-to-offline (O2O) commerce is the new trend that merges online commerce with traditional industries in various fields. The primary purpose of this paper is to find out which factors influence customers' intention to switch from call-based driver-for-hire services to O2O app-based services. This study used variables and factors based on Theory of Switching Intention, and Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology in order to design research questions. We surveyed 500 users of call-based driver-for-hire services. According to the result of this study, dissatisfaction with the current call-based driver-for-hire services is estimated to be a significant factor that strengthens customers' intention to switch from the call-based driver-for-hire services to the app-based services. Loyalty to the previous call-based driver-for-hire services was not seen as a crucial motivator that causes customers to switch to the new O2O driver service. Switching cost also did not play a key role in explaining the relationship between dissatisfaction with the current call-based service and the intention to use the new app-based service. Performance expectancy, easiness in use, the level of user's knowledge or available assistance in relation to the use of app-based services, and expectancy for reasonable price was found to have meaningful impacts on customers' intention to switch from the call-based driver-for-hire services to the app-based services. Age, gender and user experience on the new service were found incapable of moderating the relationship between aforementioned factors which influence customers' choice of the app-based driver-for-hire service, and customers' intent to switch to the app-based service.

  • The typical operating temperature of an automotive fuel cell is lower than that of an internal combustion engine, which necessitates a refined strategy for thermal management. In particular, the performance of the cooling module has to be higher for a fuel cell system because the temperature difference between the fuel cell and the surrounding is lower than in the case of the internal combustion engine. Even though the cooling system of an automotive fuel cell determines the operating temperature and temperature distribution of the fuel cell, it has attracted little research attention. This study presents the mathematical model of a cooling system for an automotive fuel cell system using Matlab/$Simulink^{(R)}$. In particular, a radiator model is developed for design optimization from the development stage to the operating stage for an automotive fuel cell. The cooling system model comprises a fan, pump, and radiator. The pump and fan model have an empirical relation, and the dynamics of the pump and fan are only explained by motor dynamics. The basic design study was conducted, and the geometric setup of the radiator was investigated. When the control logic was applied, the pump senses the coolant inlet temperature and the fan senses the coolant out temperature. Additionally, the cooling module is integrated with the fuel cell system model so that the performance of the cooling module can be investigated under realistic operating conditions.

  • The water level control system of the steam generator in a pressurized water reactor and its control problems are analysed. In this work the stable control strategy during the low power operation and transient states is studied. To solve the problem, a fuzzy logic control method is applied as a basic algorithm of the controller. The control algorithm is based on the operator's knowledges and the experiences of manual operation for water level control at the compact nuclear simulator set up in Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute. From a viewpoint of the system realization, the control variables and rules are established considering simpler tuning and the input-output relation. The control strategy includes the dynamic tuning method and employs a substitutional information using the bypass valve opening instead of incorrectly measured signal at the low flow rate as the fuzzy variable of the flow rate during the pressure control mode of the steam generator. It also involves the switching algorithm between the control valves to suppress the perturbation of water level. The simulation results show that both of the fine control action at the small level error and the quick response at the large level error can be obtained and that the performance of the controller is improved.

  • 전력수요의 증대로 발전소 운전에 핵심적인 역할을 담당하는 제어시스템의 중요성이 한층 더 강조되었다. 본 연구에서는 발전기 전압제어를 담당하는 여자시스템의 독특한 형태인 복권형 P-bar 여자시스템과 De-excitation 설비에 대하여 기술하고, Y원자력 발전소에서 경험하였던 De-excitation 설비에 계자방전 인덕터(FDI) 사용함으로써 발전기 계자권선에 축적된 에너지를 방전하는데 계자권선 시정수인 Tdo'이 설계치보다 너무 오래 지속되는 문제점을 검토하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 개선방안을 제시하였으며 이를 유사 발전소에 적용한 결과와 그 효용성을 보였다

  • 기존의 생물학적 인 제거 공정은 주로 경험적 인자를 고려하여 운전되었기 때문에 아직까지 폐수처리 시스템 전체를 파악할 수 있는 정량적인 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 생물학적 인과 Total Organic Carbon(TOC)의 제거 공정을 모사하기 위하여 단일 균주인 Staphylococcus auricularis를 이용하였으며, 여기서 혐기와 호기 조건을 동시에 고려하는 모델 시스템을 제안하였다. 이 모델 시스템에서는 미생물 안의 인 농도를 고려한 인의 방출과 제거 특성을 나타내었으며, 인과 TOC가 제거되는 과정을 잘 모사하였다. 그리고 폐수 중 인의 농도 변화에 의한 인을 효과적으로 처리하기 위하여 각 농도별로 요구되는 싸이클 수를 예측할 수 있었다.

중국원전사업 진출의 추진방향과 과제

  • 중국은 96년 현재 3기의 원전을 가동하고 있는데, 원전 설비를 가속화하여 원전 총설비 용량을 2010년에 2천만$\~$2천5백만kW, 2020년에는 4천만$\~$5천만kW까지 확충할 계획으로 있다. 따라서 중국 원전 시장은 세계 원전 수출 국가의 각축장이 되고 있으며, 그에 따라 치열한 수주 경쟁이 벌어지고 있다. 본고는 필자가 중국 광동 원전에서 약 1년간 광동 원전 1$\cdot$2호기의 운전$\cdot$정비 및 운영 전반에 걸친 자문, 광동 3$\cdot$4호기 건설 프로젝트의 기획 업무, 광동 5$\cdot$6호기의 기술성과 경제성 평가 업무 등에 동참한 경험으로, 중국의 원전 사업 수행과 금후 사업을 전망하면서 한국 원전 사업이 중국에 진출할 수 있는 제반 여건을 기술한 것이다.
