A Repository Utilization System to optimize maintenance of IIoT-based main point Utilities (IIoT 기반한 핵심유틸리티의 유지보수 최적화를 위한 공동 활용 시스템)

  • Recently, manufacturing companies are introducing many intelligent production processes that apply IIoT/ICT to improve competitiveness, and a system that maintains availability, improves productivity, and optimizes management costs is needed as a preventive measure using environmental data generated from air ejectors. Therefore, in this study, a dedicated control board was developed and LoRa communication module was applied to remotely control it to collect and manage information about compressors from cloud servers and to ensure that all operators and administrators utilize common data in real time. This dramatically reduced M/S steps, increased system operational availability, and reduced local server operational burden. It dramatically reduced maintenance latency by sharing system failure conditions and dramatically improved cost and space problems by providing real-time status detection through wired and mobile utilization by maintenance personnel.

A Research on Characteristics of Internal Flow Based on the Gun Barrel Length and Ammunition Pressure. (포신 길이와 탄약 압력에 따른 포신 내부 유동 특성 연구)

  • This research concerns the characteristics of tank barrel inner flow according to the barrel length and the pressure of ammunition when fired. By analyzing the flow characteristics of the bore evacuator according to barrel length and ammunition pressure regarding ammunition design, it is possible to prevent the flareback phenomenon that may occur during ammunition operation. Through bore evacuator flow analysis by barrel length and ammunition pressure, we identified key design factors concerning barrel and ammunition compatibility including speed, accuracy, penetration performance and range. Test results found if barrel length is long and ammunition pressure is low, bore evacuator operation time is slow. Therefore, there is a high probability that propellant gas will enter the battle vehicle. Therefore, the correlation analysis method of bore evacuator flow characteristics based on barrel length and ammunition pressure is considered as a primary method to improve operational performance. When designing new ammunition, the correlation analysis method will be used to determine ammunition weight and select the propellant pressure.

Estimation of Residual Strength for an Aged Floating Dock (노후화된 플로팅도크의 잔류 구조강도 평가)

  • Due to its nature the manufacturing industry faces a cyclical economy, and therefore there is an urgent need for a companion industry to cope with this cyclic pattern in the long run. The sector suitable for meeting this demand is the repair and shipbuilding industry. In order to operate a shipbuilding repair business, a floating dock is indispensable, and most obsolete floating docks were imported from overseas and operated through repair/maintenance. However, there is no precise guideline for floating dock safety, and most models have been in use for at least 30 years without being required to enter classification at the time of operation. In this study, structural strength analysis was carried out using measured thickness information of aged floating docks, and the residual structural strength of floating docks in operation was analyzed. The main results derived from this study can be referred to as guidelines for the review of the structural safety of similar equipment, and it is expected that an optimal solution will be found within a short time using this method for repair/maintenance.

  • Due to the changes in future war environment and the technological development of the aviation weapon system, it is required to carry out on the analysis of the Manned-Unmanned aerial vehicles Teaming(MUM-T). Conventional manned-unmanned aerial vehicles operate according to the air strategy missions and vehicles' performance. In this paper, we analyze conventional aerial vehicle's mission to derive various kinds of missions of MUM-T after analyzing the unmanned aircraft systems roadmap issued by US DoD and the air strategy of US Air Force. Next, we identify the basic operations of the vehicles to carry out the missions, select the MUM-T based Suppression of Enemy Air Defense missions(SEAD), and analyze the procedure for performing the missions step by step. In this paper, we propose a procedure of the mission in the context of physical space and timeline for the realization of the concept of MUM-T.

  • The 5 Game changer means the concepts of the army's operation against the enemy's asymmetric threats so that minimize damage to the public and leads to victory in war in the shortest time. A study of network architecture of Dronebot operation is a key study to carry out integrated operation with integrated C4I system by organically linking several drones battle groups through ICT. The NBC reconnaissance drones can be used instead of vehicles and humans to detect NBC materials and share situations quickly. However, there is still a lack of research on the swarm flight of the NBC reconnaissance drones and the weaknesses of cyber electronic warfare. In this study, we present weaknesses and countermeasures of CBRNs in swarm flight operations and provide a basis for future research.

  • In this paper, the design requirements was produced by analyzing domestic and foreign regulations of the vertical takeoff and landing site required to operate the urban air mobility (UAM) system in Korea and the size of the take-off and landing pads were defined, and the configuration of vertiport was proposed. First, for the metropolitan area with high population density, pilot locations of the vertical take-off and landing site were selected based on the demonstration routes suggested by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and analyzed the characteristics of each location and determined the number of possible installations of vertiport by measuring each site. After that, variables necessary for the operation of the vertical takeoff and landing area were set, and the hourly, daily, monthly aircraft operating cycle, the number of acceptable people, and efficiency were calculated according to the number of simultaneous operation and the number of stand. Finally, using CATIA, the configurations of the virtual vertiport was created by applying the design requirements.

Preliminary Analysis on Characteristics of Attitude Control based on Operation Scenario of Small SAR Satellite Mission, S-STEP (초소형 SAR 위성 S-STEP의 임무 시나리오에 따른 자세 제어 성능 예비 분석)

  • S-STEP is a small SAR satellite mission that monitors time-limited emergency targets and military anomalies in areas of interest, achieving the average revisit in less than 30 minutes by deploying a constellation of 32 satellites in low orbit at an altitude of 510 km. The mission operation mode of S-STEP is divided into normal mode, observation mode, communication mode, and orbit maintenance mode. Further,, the attitude control mode is subdivides into initial detumbling, sun pointing, target pointing, ground station pointing, and thrust direction maintenance. Based on the preliminary mission operational scenario and the satellite's characteristics, this study analyzed the attitude control performance during initial detumbling and observation modes. It verifies that each mode's attitude control accuracy requirements within the time allotted by the scenario of the S-STEP achieved.

  • 본 연구에서는 컷 집합(cut set)개념과 파이프의 부정류를 위한 수치해석 결과를 이용하여 상수관망의 불능 확률을 정량적으로 산정하는 신뢰성 해석이 수행되었다. 특히 상수관망에서 중요한 운용형태의 하나인 밸브의 개폐효과에 따른 효과를 통하여 불능확률이 산정되었다. 먼저 부정류 수치해석을 위해서 작은 상수관망을 만들고 여러 가지 시나리오를 재현하였다. 이때 부정류 해석을 위해서 특성선법(the method of characteristics)모형이 사용되었다. 밸브의 개폐에 따라서 여러 가지 형태의 부정류가 발생되고 발생된 부정류를 상수관망의 불능확률을 크게 증가시킨다. 상수관망에서 컷 집합을 추출하여 기준지점에 배출유량(demand)가 도달하지 못할 확률을 불능확률로 규정하여 정량적으로 산정한다. 이를 위해서 컷 집합의 총 유량을 시간에 따라 평균하여 COV를 불능확률 산정에 이용한다. 부정류로 인한 파이프 유량의 변동이 심할수록 COV는 증가하고 결국은 컷 집합의 불능확률은 증가하게 된다. 그리고 똑같은 상수관망에 에너지 감쇠장치인 조압수조가 설치되어 부정류 압력파(pressure wave)를 크게 감소시켰을 때 불능확률을 비교하였다. 조압수조와 같은 압력감쇠장치가 상수관망의 부정류 효과와 불능확률을 크게 저감시키는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 신뢰성 해석 결과로부터 부정류가 불능확률을 급격히 증가시킨다는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 부정류 효과를 고려한 신뢰성 해석은 상수관망의 운용, 관리, 감독, 그리고 설계와 계획을 위해서 필수적이라 할 수 있다.

The Study of Data Recorder for Mission Replay (임무 재생을 위한 데이터 기록장치 연구)

  • On the matter in line with NCW(Network Centric Warfare) and information age, the military is on an efficient-expanding trend as sharing with status and information promptly through the various and complex exchange of messages and the voice communication between operators, using a highly efficient operating console. The recording devices that record an operational situation to plan a new operation through the mission analysis and result reviews after finishing military operation or training are developed and operated. Recording method is classified into two groups. one is the direct recording of video data for screen, another is the recording of an exchange of data. This study proposes the new data-oriented recording method to reduce the readiness time for replay and the improvement scheme.

  • 한국 사회의 인구 고령화 속도는 세계 최고 수준으로 향후 보건, 의료, 복지 등에서 심각한 사회 문제를 발생시킬 것으로 예상되고, 고령화 사회로 인한 질병 발생률의 증가는 국민 의료비 부담의 증가로 이어져 이에 대한 대책이 필요하다. 이에 따라, 정보통신기술을 이용하여 시간과 공간에 구애받지 않고 언제 어디서나 건강과 생활을 관리하여 건강한 삶을 유지시키는 새로운 형태의 서비스인 유헬스케어(u-Healthcare)가 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 최근에는 일반인, 고령자, 만성질환자를 대상으로 하는 유헬스케어용 건강 개인 기기의 개발이 확산되고 있으나, 표준이 없이 업체별로 제품개발이 이루어지기 때문에 서비스간 호환성 등의 문제가 생기고, 이로 인해 유헬스케어 산업의 성장에 장애요소로 작용하고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해, 최근 헬스케어 분야의 표준화가 활발하게 진행되고 있으며, 표준화를 통해 생체정보 데이터의 취합 및 전송, 분석 및 피드백이 표준적인 방법으로 운용이 될 수 있도록 하고 개인 건강 기기들과 유헬스케어 서비스간의 상호 운용성이 보장이 될 수 있도록 할 수 있다. 본 고에서는 최근 헬스케어 분야에서 가장 활발하게 표준화가 진행중인 IEEE 11073 PHD 표준화 동향과 HL7 CDA의 표준화 동향에 대해서 상세히 살펴보고, 본 연구원에서 개발한 국제 표준기반 유헬스케어 플랫폼에 대한 소개를 한다.
