인터넷을 기반으로 하는 IT의 눈부신 발전과 더불어 언제, 어디서나, 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 인터넷을 사용할 수 있도록 하는 사회적 요구가 구체화 되고 있다. 이러한 요구에 부응하고자 국내에서는 200km 이상의 빠른 속도로 이동 중에 있더라도 초고속인터넷이나 방송 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 위성/무선통신 연동 초고속인터넷 시스템기술을 개발하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 위와 같이 개발된 연동시스템을 국내 고속철도(KTX)에 적용하여 서비스를 제공할 때, 관련 시설투자에 대한 경제적 타당성을 검토하고자 한다. 경제성 분석을 위해 현재 유럽에서 이미 제공되고 있는 고속철도 인터넷 서비스를 조사하였고, 국내 고속철의 특성을 감안하여 필요시설과 장비의 항목별 비용분석을 수행하였다. 해외 사례와 비행기 등의 다른 운송수단에서 예상되는 수요 및 요금 수준에 근거하여 고속철도 인터넷서비스 매출을 시나리오별로 산정하였으며, 각각에 대한 순현재가와 수익률을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 하여 위성/무선통신 연동 시스템 기술 개발에 대한 경제적 타당성을 도출할 수 있으며, 서비스 제공 시 마케팅자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

현대 사회에서 항만이 전반 공급체인에서 차지하는 역할이 날로 중요해지고 있다. 항만의 역할은 이미 단순한 하역작업이 아닌 화물에 부가가치를 부여하는 중요한 경제활동중심으로 진화하였다. 이러한 항만의 중요성으로 인해 각국은 모두 허브항 육성을 주요 성장전략으로 삼고 있다. 특히 동북아시아는 대형 항만이 가장 밀집된 지역으로 되어 항만 간 경쟁이 매우 치열하다. 부산항은 배후단지 활성화를 통한 안정적인 물동량 유치를 통해 역내에서 경쟁력을 확보하고 있다. 본 연구는 부산항 신항 배후단지에서 처리하는 주요 화물들의 원단위를 산정하여 실제 부산항 신항 배후단지에서 창조하는 부가가치에 대해 정량적으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 케미칼 제품, LME 벌크, 자동차 부품, LME 컨테이너, 일반화물, LME 내륙운송의 순으로 원단위 비용이 점차 감소하였다. 향후 연구에는 부산항 신항 배후단지에서 취급되는 전체 화물에 대한 세부적인 연구가 이루어질 필요가 있다. 이를 통해 항만이 창출하는 가치를 보다 정밀하게 파악하고 효과적인 물동량 유치 전략을 실행할 수 있다.

This study conducted a SWOT/AHP analysis to prepare a developmental strategy for Gwangyang Port. The SWOT analysis is used to analyze internal and external environment in the strategy stage. The SWOT/AHP analysis was proposed by Kurttila et. al. (2000) to improve usefulness of the SWOT analysis. The results of the SWOT analysis confirm what factors are present in the SWOT group. Therefore, when it is combined with the AHP analysis, it evaluated the relative importance of factors gained from the SWOT analysis and used them to develop strategies. To sum up the results, in the SWOT group, opportunity, strong points, threat and weak points were relatively important in a good order. In respect to factors of the SWOT, for a factor of strength, reasonable freight cost, good port site, and broad hinterland were relatively important. As to factors of weakness, absence of an efficient customs system, a complex transport system and port personnel were relatively important. As to factors of opportunity, an improved transport system through building various infrastructures, consistent development of a connected industrial complex, and increased cargos in northeast area were relatively important. As to threat factors, an improved transport system through building various infrastructure, competition with neighboring ports and small complex transport companies were relatively important.

Many shipping companies have suffered about high oil cost and environment regulation as people are concerned about the environment, therefore concentrating on energy using efficiency of the ship. The Skysails Company of Germany developed Skysails System for 4 years, making Shipping Company take interest under such situation. Skysails System uses a large kite in the ship, decreasing fuel expenses. So examination and utility analysis on Skysails System application are a necessity by using weather condition in the Coastal Waters of Korea where feeder network was well-developed. As a result, we could find out the system's efficacy on fuel saving and environment cost saving.

This paper deals with modal shift projects and policy of modal shift services at home and abroad. This study aims to review the results of foreign modal projects in advanced countries and to suggest policy directions for promoting modal shift services in Korea. This paper consists of three main sections: concept of modal shift policy; analysis of modal shift projects and policy at home and abroad; policy directions of modal shift services in Korea. In recent years, shippers who shift mode from truck to rail or coastal shipping are subsidized by the government. The government intends to encourage modal shift services of shippers, as shown in the example of Marco Polo in EU. It is identified that the government should devise effective policy for the successful implementation of truck-rail modal shift in Korea. It is suggested that the policy goal of modal shift must be clear and its attainment is feasible in order to promote modal shift services here. It also turns out that indirect supply policy works better than direct one. Freight transport environments differ between countries. It, thus, hard to directly apply foreign policies to Korea's freight transport field. Korea is at an inceptive stage of exploring foreign modal shift policies and promoting modal shift services in Korea. We will gain from the wide range of case studies, which analyze the modal shift successes and failures experienced by advanced countries. It is necessary to use them with care.

Recently, the need to introduce bus lines on a welfare basis is increasing as public intervention in bus routes is accelerated through semi-public bus system. The main objective of this study is to establish the concept of PSO (public service obligation) bus line on a welfare basis and propose a classification method of PSO bus line under semi-public bus system. We introduced 3 indexes such as "equity" in terms of bus line distribution, "publicity" in terms of age distribution, and "profitability" in terms of bus operating revenues. On the basis of 3 indexes, we introduced the PSO bus line, which is fair and public, even if it is not profitable. Based on the concept established in this study, we divided 130 ordinary city bus lines in Busan Metropolitan City into 8 PSO bus lines. Also, considering the positive impact of public buses, which are less profitable, but improve the mobility of residents and secure public community, we suggested the need to introduce public buses in bus service shortage areas.

Recently, freight floe between south and north Korea is rising rapidly by increasing cf economical exchange between two Korea and growth of Gaeseoung Industrial Complex. Considering this trend of economic cooperation between two Korea, in addition to a land transportation route it is necessary to secure various logistics and transportation route. A barge transport system which has many merits such as a little initial investment and convenience of harbor loading/unloading has been also used to transport freight widely in the EU and USA. In this paper, firstly, a Gaeseoung industrial complex and its cargo transport are investigated and several candidate shipping routes which are using barge transportation system are proposed. And also we investigate a technical feasibility on a realistic possibility of shipping routes by some investigation activities. Finally, a suitable barge system of candidate shipping route(1) and(2) is proposed in this paper.

Although Busan Port is a world-class transshipment port, it is geographically divided and, despite the continuous increase in transshipment volume, ITT port integrated operation is not being performed, reducing port operation efficiency. In addition, the operation raises the problem of inefficiency in social and economic aspects, along with an increase in the volume of transshipment transport and the resulting increase in transshipment transport costs. This paper deals with the necessity of forming an integrated operation organization to carry out the ITT joint dispatch in the process of improving the ITT efficiency in Busan Port, and the organization structure centering on the transport companies and freight owners performing the Busan Port ITT. We intend to make a proposal for the establishment of an integrated operation organization in the form of a consortium and support plans. In addition, through analysis of implications, the role of the ITT stakeholders in Busan Port and related organizations will be addressed.

본 논문은 현재 발전하고 있는 전자상거래의 겉모습만을 보고 있는 사람들에게 그 내부의 모습을 보여주는 한편, 물류수송의 문제점을 파악하여 그에 따른 물류비용의 증가를 막아보자는데 있다. 전자상거래의 힘은 신속정확한 배달과 품질보증이다. 이에 따라 시간이 걸리는 배달일 경우에는 소비자의 기다림을 달래주는 위치 추적 정보 서비스가 필요하다 종합물류 관리시스템의 하나인 CVO의 기술을 분석하고 화물위치 추적 시스템에 대하여 연구하였다. 특히 현재 우리나라의 쇼핑몰이나 기업의 상황을 분석하고, 전자 상거래의 배달, 운송에 관한 연구와 고찰로써 전자강거래 시대에 있어서 모든 기업들의 발전방안을 연구하였다.

우리나라는 무역량 증가와 수출입 불균형에 따라 항만자원 낭비 및 불필요한 비용 발생 등의 문제가 야기되고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 항만 이해관계자들의 정보 공유를 바탕으로 한 새로운 물류 서비스 개발이 요구되고 있으나, 선사, 화주, 운송사들간에 정보가 단절되어 있어 유기적인 상호 공유가 불가능한 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 항만 내 공유가능 한 자원들에 대해 공유수준, 공유효과, 공유 가능성에 대한 설문조사를 통해 시사점을 도출하고, IPA분석을 통해 중요도 및 시급성을 분석하였다.
