Analysis of the Decision Making of Landlord in Cubical Substitute Lot (입체환지시 토지 소유자의 의사결정에 대한 수리적 해석 - 도시설계 및 개발의 관점으로 -)

  • This study has tries to define the structure of cubical substitute lot development and develope the logical tool for GIS(Geographic Information System). The research has found such important variables as the gap of land price, FARIfloor area ratio), LBR(land burden ratio) and etc. Among those variables, current land price and increasing rate of the price could not be controled by the developer and governments. LBR and FAR, however, could be negotiated and regulated by those shareholders. The result could define the control variables in cubical substitute lot which should be included in the future system for the development tool. The outcome could give the objective ground for local governments, landlords, and engineering companies which involve the cubical subsititute lot.

폐비닐 재생메디아를 이용한 생물막공정에서의 하수처리 특성

  • 폐비닐 여재(Synthetic Waste Polyethylene Media)를 적용한 부착성장식 공정의 유기물 및 질소${\cdot}$인 제거특성에 관한 Pilot Plant 실험 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 1) 제거효율은 $RUNI1{\sim}3$에서 $COD_{cr}$ 91.4, 92.4, 93.9%, T-N 56.9, 61.4, 65.1%, T-P는 모든 단계에서 약 45%이상 제거되어 부하변동시에 강한 대처능력을 나타내었다. 2) BOD용적부하 $0.18{\sim}0.40kg/m^3{\cdot}d$, COD용적부하 $0.28{\sim}0.53kg/m^3{\cdot}d$, ${NH_4}^{+}-N$용적부하 $0.12kg/m^3{\cdot}d$을 나타내었다. 3) 도시하수 처리를 위한 생물학적 질소 및 인 제거공법을 본 여재를 이용하여 공정설계시 고려할 사항들과 적절한 대처방법을 다음과 같이 제시할 수 있다. - 1차 침전지에서 유기질소 및 유기인 농도가 높다면 유기질소 및 인 부하량을 감소시키기 위하여 1차 침전지를 설치하되 질소 및 인제거에 유리한 $BOD_5/T-N$, $BOD_5/T-P$를 유지할 수 있도록 체류시간을 1시간미만으로 설계하는 것이 경제적이라고 판단된다. 만일 유기질소와 유기인의 함량이 낮다면 1차 침전지는 제외하는 것이 유리할 것이다. - 여재의 배치는 폭기조에서 용존산소의 균일분포와 슬러지의 적정탈리를 위해 여재를 상하로 배치하거나 또는 여재끼리 일정 간격을 두어 배치하는 것이 바람직하다. 농촌에서의 처분이 문제시 되고 있는 폐비닐을 적용한 본 연구에서의 수처리특성은 기존 하수처리공정에서의 제거효율에 상응하는 처리특성을 나타내었다. 또한 폐비닐 처분의 문제를 해결할 수 있을뿐만 아니라 하수처리시에도 부하변동 등에 강한 대처능력을 나타내어 기존의 하수처리공정에 대체가능성을 나타내었다.

A study for measurement of radial artery oxygen saturation system using photoelectric plenthysmography (광전용적맥파를 이용한 요골동맥 산소포화도 측정 시스템의 연구)

  • In this study, the pulse of radial artery and oxygen saturation are detected using photoelectric plethysmograph method. Using our device designed reflection type, we can detect the reflected light by radial artery and by switching circuit, we can also separate to 625nm band signal and 940nm band signals. The separated signals are converted as a pulse data by the pulse signal processing circuit. In this study, the reflection type of oxygen saturation calculation method is applied instead of the transmission type because of the reflection type sensor is used to measure the radial artery. As a result, we can detect about 97% accuracy of the oxygen saturation compare with the conventional method. For the accurate signals, the wrist band with sensor was designed and fixed on the radial artery. As a result, this wrist band type sensor was applicable to prevent position errors from motion artifact and could increase the accuracy during the measuring.

A Stress-Strain Relationship of Alkali-Activated Slag Concrete (알칼리활성 슬래그 콘크리트의 응력-변형률 관계)

  • The present study summarizes a series of compressive tests on concrete cylinder in order to examine the stressstrain relationship of alkali-activated (AA) slag concrete. The compressive strength and unit weight of concrete tested ranged from 8.6 MPa to 42.2 MPa and from $2,186kg/m^3$ to $2,343kg/m^3$, respectively. A mathematical equation representing the complete stress-strain curve was developed based on test results recorded from 34 concrete specimens. The modulus of elasticity, strain at peak stress, slopes of ascending and descending branches of stress-strain curves were generalized as a function of compressive strength and unit weight of concrete. The mean and standard deviation of the coefficient of variance between measured and predicted curves were 6.9% and 2.6%, respectively. This indicates that the stress-strain relationship of AA slag concrete is represented properly with more accuracy in the proposed model than in some other available models for ordinary portland cement (OPC) concrete.

  • The clip-type pulsimeter equipped with a Hall sensor has a permanent magnet attached in the "Chwan" position to the center of a radial artery. The clip-type pulsimeter is composed of a hardware system measuring voltage signals. These electrical bio-signals display pulse rate, non-invasive blood pressure, respiratory rate, pulse wave velocity (PWV), and spatial pulse wave velocity (SPWV) simultaneously measured by using the radial artery pulsimeter, the electrocardiograph (ECG), and the photoplethysmograph (PPG). The findings of this research may be useful for developing a oriental-western biomedical signal storage device, that is, the new and fusion patient monitor, for a U-health-care system.

  • Inorganic and inorganic/organic microcapsules were prepared by spray drying. $K_{4}SO$ and clay were used as the core and colloidal silica as the shell for the inoroganic microcapsules. Forthe inorganic/organic microcapsules were used the inorganic microcapsule which were mentioned above (core) and ethyl cellulose (shell). To characterize the prepared microcapsule for the practical use, the homogenity of surface and pore volume are the dominent factors. At the volume ratio of 0.3/0.7 of core/shell, the spherical and homogeneous surfaces of inorganic microcapsule could be synthesized. In the case of inorganic/organic microcapsules, the weitht ratio was 0.76/0.24. The pore volume of inorganic/organic microcapsules decreases more than that of inorganic microcapsule. The more the amount of shell (ethyl cellulose) in inorganic/organic microcapsules increases, the more the coating became homogeneous and the pore volume decreased.

  • The use of WBRT(whole brain radiation therapy) has increased due to the increase in the incidence of metastatic brain tumors. The development of radiation therapy techniques is expected to improve the quality of life. The VMAT (Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy) is an excellent treatment technique that can distinguish the dose in each volume. Therefore, this study compared conventional WBRT and VMAT for hair loss according to the scalp dose using a head phantom. The CI (Conformity Index), HI (Homogeneity Index) and QOC (Quality of Coverage) were measured brain tissue. A 20 percent and 50 percent dose was measured at the scalp, eyeball, lens, and c-spine. Conventional WBRT is excellent at 10 percent of brain tissue. VMAT is far superior at 1000 percent at the other organs. VMAT at the prescribed dose can be used as radiation therapy of metastatic brain tumors with less hair loss.

A Study on Effects of Using In Coated Wire on Arc Stability in GMAW (In 도금 와이어가 GMAW용접의 아크 안정성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • 철강 재료의 GMA 용접 시, 보호가스로 $CO_2$ 가스를 사용하면 가격이 저렴하고 용입이 깊다는 장점이 있어 국내에서 광범위하게 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 일반적으로 활성가스인 $CO_2$를 사용한 GMA용접은 아크가 불안정하고 스패터가 많이 발생한다는 단점이 있어 아크 안정성 개선의 필요성이 부각되었다. 거기다 용접 자동화 및 용접 품질의 고급화 추세로 아크 안정성이 $CO_2$용접에서 점점 중요해지면서, 아크 안정화 및 스패터 저감을 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 GMA 용접 재료인 solid wire의 표면에 이온화 에너지가 낮은 금속인 인듐(In)을 전해 도금하여 중전류의 $CO_2$ 용접에 적용하였다. 고속 촬영과 아크 모니터링 분석을 통하여 금속 이행 모드 및 아크 안정화에 미치는 영향에 관하여 연구하였다. 동일 전압, 전류 조건에서 도금 두께를 달리하여 용접을 실시, 도금 두께에 따른 아크 안정성의 경향을 분석하였다. 그 결과 도금 두께가 두꺼워짐에 따라 아크가 넓어지는 것을 확인하였으며, 이는 아크 내에 이온화도가 높은 인듐 이온이 다량 포함됨으로써 이온의 양이 증가하기 때문인 것으로 생각된다. 또한 도금 두께가 일정 이상이 되면, 이행 모드가 용적의 아래에서 아크가 발생하는 반발 이행 모드에서 용적의 윗부분에서 아크가 발생하는 입상 용적 이행 모드로 바뀌었으며, 이때 단락 수가 현저히 줄어들어 아크가 안정해졌다. 이에 따라 인듐 도금 와이어는 기존보다 낮은 전류 영역에서도 안정적인 아크와 금속 이행 모드를 가지게 됨을 확인하였다.

Estimating Development Density Constrained by Traffic Congestion in the Downtown, Seoul (교통혼잡을 고려한 서울 도심부 개발가능밀도 추정)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop transportation-sensitive land use densities in a metropolitan context. It analyses traffic impacts according to 20 different development density scenarios in the downtown Seoul, and estimates the density ceiling. The results identify that the transportation-wise sustainable density in the downtown can be extended up to the FAR level of 460% with an option of 2,000 won congestion charge levied on the downtown area. It also finds that the region-wide sustainability measured by congestion level can be improving as the level of congestion charge increases. Without the congestion charge, however, the density ceiling slides down to 430%. It is recommended that, in order to bring in higher density developments in the region, transportation demand management (TDM) measures are indispensible.

Analysis of Myocardial Function Using Gated Myocardial SPET : Comparison of QGS, 4D-MSPECT Software and Echocardiography (게이트 심근관류 SPECT를 이용한 심기능 분석: 정량분석 소프트웨어 QGS, 4D-MSPECT 및 심초음파법의 비교)

  • Purpose: Gated myocardial perfusion SPECT provides not only myocardial perfusion status but also various functional parameters of left ventricle. We compared left ventricular ejection fraction, end-diastolic volume, LV mass by cardiac SPECT using Quantitative Gated SPECT (QGS), 4D-MSPECT software and standard 2D-echocardiography. Materials and Methods: One hundred fourteen patients (male 51, female 63; 29-85 years old, mean $61.3\;{\pm}\;13.3$ years old) with normal perfusion status on Tc-99m tetrofosmin gated myocardial perfusion SPECT were analyzed retrospectively. Ejection fraction (LVEF), End-diastolic volume (LVED), LV mass (LVM) were calculated using QGS, 4D-MSPECT, and LVEF, LVM using 2D-echocardiography. Statistical analysis including Bland-Altman plot was performed using $MedCalc^{(R)}$ (MedCalc software, Mariakerke, Belgium). Results: The correlation of LVEF between methods was good: 0.95/0.96 (stress/rest) between QGS and 4D-MSPECT, 0.79 between QGS and echocardiography, 0.79 between 4D-MSPECT and echocardiography (p<0.001). Using Bland-Altman plot, the 95% confidence interval of agreement between QGS and 4D-MSPECT ranged from -12.7% to 7.3% / from -12.2% to 6.5% (stress/rest). The agreement between QGS and echocardiography, 4D-MSPECT and echocardiography ranged from -17.4% to 24.0%, and -14.8% to 27.0% respectively. The correlation of LVM between methods was also good: 0.95 between QGS and 4D-MSPECT, 0.76 between QGS and echocardiography, 0.73 between 4D-MSPECT and echocardiography (p<0.001). The 95% confidence interval of agreement between QGS and 4D-MSPECT ranged from -33.8g to 14.1g (stress/rest), The 95% confidence interval of agreement between QGS and echocardiography, 4D-MSPECT and echocardiography ranged from -148.7 g to 21.8. g, and -142.8 g to 35.5 g, respectively. Conclusion: There was a good correlation for LVEF, LVEO, LVM among methods (QGS, 4D-MSPECT, echocardiography), but the variance between methods was big. Therefore, the functional parameters by each method cannot be used interchangeably.
