  • 최근 인프라를 관리할 필요가 없고 폭발적으로 늘어나는 요청을 유연하게 대처할 수 있는 장점 때문에 서버리스 컴퓨팅 사용이 늘어나고 있다. 하지만 서버리스 컴퓨팅은 사용자 코드의 실행 환경을 준비하기 위한 콜드 스타트 과정이 필요하고, 서비스가 복잡해짐에 따라 전체 실행 시간 중 콜드 스타트로 인한 지연시간이 늘어나는 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 서버리스 컴퓨팅 기반의 워크플로우에 대해 콜드 스타트로 인한 지연 시간을 완화하는 아키텍처 및 기법을 제안한다.

A Study on the Shortening Effect of Train Running Time as Railway curve sections improvement (철도곡선부 개량에 따른 열차운행시간 단축효과에 관한 연구)

  • for shortening of running time on existing line, speed up railways feel strongly the necessity of it, for fully realizing a role of transportation system, for human life style is high. and increasing of time value. Especially curved lines zone have crucial effects on the speed of train, in case the shortening of running time, it is thought, speed up in curved lines zone, considering a character of route alignment in korea, we obtain saving time using lateral force index for safety running of train and comfortable ride of passengers. The results of this study show that all curved zone improvements for the shortening of the train running time more efficiently than extension of transition curve.

성인전용 주류자판기, 규제완화 요원한가

  • 담배자판기는 되는데 주류자판기는 왜 안 되나? 담배자판기의 경우 성인인증장치를 도입해 부분적인 로케이션이기는 하지만 합법화되어 있음에 비해 주류자판기는 여전히 설치 자체를 규제한 채 철옹성의 장벽을 구축하고 있다. 이러한 현실에서 산업계는 성인인증장치를 도입한 주류자판기는 이제 규제가 완화되어야 한다는 목소리가 높이고 있다. 주력기종인 음료자판기는 극도의 시장불황에 시달리고, 이를 대신할 마땅한 사업아이템을 찾기 힘든 현실에서 주류자판기로 시각이 집중되는 것은 어찌 보면 자연스러운 일이다. 성인인증 주류자판기 시장은 규제만 완화된다면 산업계의 숨통을 틔어 줄 유망아이템이라는 점에서 결코 포기할 수 없는 영역이다. 산업계는 성인인증 주류자판기의 규제완화의 명분을 강화하고, 적극적인 산업계 자율대책을 제시하며 규제완화에 총력을 기울여야 한다. 협회에서는 산업계의 규제완화에 대한 열망을 반영해 최근 재정경제부 소비세제과를 대상으로 하는 건의 작업을 진행했다. 성인인증장치 도입을 통해 청소년 보호, 탈세방지 등 과거 주류자판기가 가질 수 있었던 위해요인을 극소화하는 산업계 자율대책을 바탕으로, 건전하게 주류자판기가 유통될 수 있게 해달라는 게 건의안의 골자이다. 이 건의안은 앞으로 적극적으로 검토가 될 예정이지만, 여전히 관련부처에서는 주류자판기에 대한 부정적인 시각을 가지고 있다는 점이 넘어야 할 벽이다. 재정경제부 소비세제과는 성인인증장치를 도입해 청소년 보호를 하는 측면은 높게 평가하지만, 과연 주류 유통기기로서 주류자판기가 필요한 것인 가에 대한 부정적인 시각을 가지고 있다. 또한 주류정책 자체가 유통을 억제하는 방향으로 나아가고 있다는 점, 또 탈세 방지 등 세원관리에 대한 문제점을 들어 주류자판기 자체를 부정적으로 보고 있다. 이 모든 벽들을 극복하고 규제완화의 길을 가는 것은 쉽지가 않다. 하지만 시대가 변하고, 관련 기술은 첨단화되고 있는 데 규제가 만사인 정책으로 주류자판기를 보는 시각을 곤란하다. 산업계가 얼마든지 위해요인을 해결하겠다는 자세를 보이는 마당에 이를 묵살하는 행정만능주의적 자세는 결코 올바른 행정이라 할 수 없다. 오랜 시간이 걸려도 산업계는 강력한 의지를 가지고 성인인증 주류자판기의 생존권을 확보해야 한다. 협회에서는 재경부 이외에도 국세청, 규제개혁위원회 등을 통한 규제완화 작업을 지속적으로 진행해 나갈 계획이다. 금호 정책초점에서는 성인전용 주류자판기 규제완화에 대한 뜨거운 열망을 담아, 협회에서 재정경제부 소비세과에 건의했던 건의안의 세부내용을 게재했다.

Curriculum Development for Hospice and Palliative Care Nurses (간호사를 위한 호스피스 완화의료 교육과정 개발)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop the basic curriculum for the nurses who work at hospice and palliative care settings. Methods: Seven curricula of hospice and palliative care for the nurses in Korea and other countries were reviewed, and Education Need for hospice and palliative care was surveyed from 162 nurses by mailing the questionnaires to hospice palliative care settings. Results: 1. The curricula of hospice and palliative care for the nurses in Korea and other countries in common include 'understanding of hospice and palliative care', 'understanding of lift and death', 'pain and symptom management for person with terminal disease', 'on-the-spot study and practical training', 'management of hospice and palliative ward', 'hospice and palliative care at home', 'physical assessment', 'therapeutic communication skills', 'children's hospice', 'administration and management of hospice and palliative care', 'interdisciplinary team of hospice and palliative care', 'ethics and laws in hospice and palliative care', 'psychological, social and spiritual care', 'care of the dying', 'bereavement care', etc. 2. The scores above 3.3 were marked for 34 items in education Need Survey. The highest scores were given in the order for the items 'understanding of death and dying', 'attitude and response to death and dying', 'understanding and assessment of pain' etc. respondents marked that they have been trained for 'pain and symptom management', 'ethics and laws in hospice and palliative care', 'building the system for cooperation and publicity activities in hospice' etc. 3. The basic curriculum of hospice and palliative care for the nurses requires 78 studying hours for 17 subjects, comprising 48 hours of theory education and 30 hours of practical training. The education methods are lectures, discussions, and case studies. Conclusion: The efforts of developed basic curriculum should be evaluated after educating nurses. It is necessary to develop the standard curriculum and regularly update it based on the result of education Need Survey for actively working nurses in hospice and palliative care settings.

MAS-NMR Studies in Mixed Alkali Silicate Glasses with low Fe2O3 Content (미소량의 Fe2O3를 첨가시킨 혼합 알칼리 Silicate 유리들의 MAS-NMR 연구)

  • The mixed alkali silicate glasses doped 0.1 mol% $Fe_2O_3$ are fabricated for studying the effect of transition metal oxides, which is related to the $Li^-$ ion movement in Magic-Angle-Spinning NMR. We have investigated the spin-lattice relaxation times in the room temperature and measured the $^7Li$ MAS-NMR spectrum with temperature. When the $Fe_2O_3$ oxides are added in alkali silicate glasses, the width of spectrum is changed a little but the line shape is hardly varied. For this reason, we can think that the mixed alkali effects are shown sufficiently in the spin-spin relaxation processes. However, it is not mixed alkali effects in this case. The activation energy of $Li^-$ ions are diminished in mixed alkali glasses. From the analysis of $Li^-$ diffusion environment, spin-lattice relaxation time and the nuclear magnetization, it is confirmed that the alkali mixed effects are not shown in $^7Li$ spin-lattice relaxation processes.

Political Economy of Inequality Mitigation : Experiences of Netherlands and Denmark (불평등 완화의 정치경제 : 네덜란드와 덴마크의 경험)

  • This study examines how the Netherlands and Denmark lowered the increase in income inequality, at a period in time when income inequality in the world was deepening. This study investigates the level and trend of income inequality in the Netherlands and Denmark compared to those in Korea, the United States, Germany and Sweden. Using the method of the decomposition of changes in income inequality, this study identifies which factors are associated with the changes in inequality in these countries. It also explores which labor market policies mitigated inequality in these two countries. One of the major reasons for the reduction in earned income inequality in the Netherlands is the increased participation of women in economic activity through the increase in voluntary part-time working. In particular, the policies designed to promote equal treatment between full-time and non-regular workers contributed to the active participation of women in part-time work. Using active labor market policies, Denmark improved the proficiency of low skilled and low-wage workers, thereby alleviating the wage gap between high-income and low-income workers. Based on the experiences of the Netherlands and Denmark, this study discusses policy directions to mitigate income inequality in Korea.

Is Cadmium Pretreatment-Induced Protection against Cadmium Lethality to Mice Related to the Hepatic Glutathione Contents\ulcorner (카드뮴 전처리에 의한 생쥐의 카드뮴 치사 완화효과와 간 glutathione 함량과의 상관성)

  • Which sublethal cadmium pretreatment may prevent from lethal cadmium's killing mice and which cadmium pretreatment-induced protection against cadmium lethality to mice may be related with their hepatic glutathione contents were investigated. When cadmium chloride was subcutaneously injected to mice (ICR strain) at various doses, all mice died, which treated with cadmium at dose of 300 $\mu$moles/kg or more, and none died, which treated with cadmium at dose of 80 $\mu$moles/kg or less. Subcutaneous pretreatment of sublethal cadmium decreased sacrifice of mice which subsequently injected with lethal cadmium, with most effectiveness at pretreatment dose of cadmium of 40 $\mu$moles/kg b.w. and at 48 hours of interval between sublethal cadmium pretreatment and lethal cadmium treatment. Even if a great part of the cadmium-pretreated mice were sacrificed while treated with lethal cadmium, they survived longer than the non-pretreated mice. Sublethal cadmium pretreatment (40 $\mu$moles/kg b.w.) 48 hours before lethal cadmium treatment to mice didn't decrease hepatic glutathione contents of the survived mice, while decreases in the glutathione in livers were observed in the mice just after died. These results indicate that sublethal cadmium pretreatment-induced protection against cadmium lethality to mice may be related to their hepatic glutathione contents. An Analysis of Rational Green Area Ratio by Land Use Types for Mitigating Heat-Island Effects (도시열섬완화를 위한 토지 이용 유형별 합리적 녹지율 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze reasonable green area ratios for mitigating urban heat island considering various land use types. Land uses of 5 types such as single residential, multi residential, commercial area, public facility, and industrial area were considered. Green areas were extracted from the tree attribution of land cover. Effect of urban heat island was analysed by the surface temperature of ASTER thermal infrared radiance scanned daytime and nighttime. Mitigation effect of green area at daytime was higher than nighttime. Surface temperature of green area was low in single residential at daytime. But the difference of surface temperature by each land use type was small. The effect of surface temperature mitigation of green area was lower in industrial area. The results of reasonable green area ratios for mitigating urban heat island indicate that surface temperature was the lowest with green area ratio of 40~50% in single residential, multi residential, and commercial area at daytime. Surface temperature of nighttime was not changed much by green area ratios. Therefore, the results of this study will be suggested in urban development planning to construct effectively green area for mitigating urban heat island.
