  • This study aimed to understand and analyze the learners' class satisfaction and the effectiveness of synchronous online classes after COVID-19. A total of 188 learners participated in the survey conducted at the end of the Fall Semester 2020 at C University located Gyeongsangnam-do. Findings revealed that learners' satisfaction with the synchronous online classes was relatively low, and the learners had negative perception of that. Learning content have the biggest effect on the learners' class satisfaction. Next came class management and the online learning platform. Therefore, instructors need to organize learning content effectively and enhance learners' understanding considering the most influential variable, learning content so that learners are satisfied with the synchronous online classes. Also, instructors should make it possible for learners to get familiar with the online learning platform and use it without any problems through systematic and faithful class design for effective learning in unfamiliar online learning environment. In addition, instructors need to know learners' needs and difficulties and plan their synchronous online classes. This study has limitations in that it was conducted only at one college and the limited number of variables was measured.

  • In this paper appears that in this extremely attractive and growing services segment, academics, as well as practitioners, would benefit from investigating the relationships among the players' loyalty, word of mouth and flow, and the impacts of several other key game-related constructs on consumer behavioral intentions. A conceptual framework is proposed and a structural equation model is developed. This paper develops the exploratory LISREL model for identifying the factors affecting the players' loyalty for some specific brand of online games. The concept of flow, feedback, challenge, etc, are all introduced into the model, as the independent variables affecting the loyalty directly and indirectly. Statistical results show that depending upon the types of games, the configuration of structural equation model is a little different from each other, but overall results are very much intuitive in that challenge positively enforces flow, and flow strengthens loyalty. Other interesting results concerning game development strategy are also provided. It is hoped that this result might provide the useful guidelines for developing the successful online game contents. With a better understanding of the players' behavioral intentions, online game developers should be able to make adjustments in their development and marketing plans, providing them with a sustainable advantage over their competition.

  • Sociability is an inherent part of human life and also possesses an important value as a comprehensive ability. While the lack of sociability has been pointed out as a representative problem of game use in general, this paper analyzed studies on the relationship between online video games and social competence. In this field, the view that the relationship in the online game may replace or complement the actual relationship and will potentially hinder the development of sociability currently faces a conflict with the opinion that online video games may not directly have a negative effect on sociability but rather result in a positive outcome by providing a social learning space. In a large scale survey that measured the use of online games, psychological characteristics, and social competence, no distinct relationship between game use and degradation of sociability was observed. Based on this analysis, we suggest that efforts are necessary to break away from the stereotype that online game play may cause a decline in sociability and to improve the validity of related research.

  • Although the need for international online courses and the number of online learners has been rapidly increasing, the online class evaluation has been mostly relying on the quantitative survey analysis. So a more objective evaluation method has to be developed to more accurately assess online course satisfaction. This study highlights the benefits of using big data analysis from the bulletin board messages of online learning system as a method to evaluate the online courses. In fact, automatic classification technology is recognized as an important technology among big data analysis techniques. Our team applied this technique to evaluate the online courses. From the delphi analysis results, suggested method was concluded that the evaluation items and classification results are suitable for online course evaluation and applicable in schools or institutions. This study has confirmed that the rapidly accumulating big data analysis technology can be successfully applied to the education sector with the least change. It also diagnosed a meaningful possibility to expand the big data analysis for further application.

  • The purpose of this study is to derive the necessary factors by conducting a questionnaire survey for SMEs with experience in participating in the online export support business in order to derive the factors that activate SMEs' online marketing. As a result, it was found that the Corporate trade capacity had a positive influence on online marketing utilization, and that the Corporate internal capacity did not have a significant influence on online marketing utilization. Since the consultants' role for export marketing obviously appears to exercise more significant positive effect on online marketing utilization, we can suggest the followings to activate online exports of SMEs. First, more effective efforts are needed to expand the trading capacity to utilize online marketing, and secondly, the export marketing capacity of SMEs needs to be strengthened steadily. In particular, strengthening the capabilities of the trading consultants of participating and performing companies is considered to be an important factor in the use of online marketing by SMEs, we recommend further strengthening each corporate and government policy effort to empower export consultants.
