Analysis on Accuracy of GPS installed in Digital Tachograph of Commercial vehicles (사업용 차량의 프로브 활용 가능성 평가를 위한 디지털운행기록계 위치정보 정확도 분석)

  • Installation of digital tachograph, black box, and ADAS have been enforced to commercial vehicles for preventing violent driving and accidents by the Traffic Safety Act in Korea. Nevertheless, the damage caused by road hazards has increased 1.5 times in 2016 compared to 2013. So, developing new technologies that can identify road hazard using the sensors installed in commercial vehicles are conducting by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. As a part of the technologies, this research analyze the error range of GPS installed in commercial vehicles that vary according to the driving speed. As a result, the average error was 9.72m at the driving speed of 100km/h, and the error was 2.1 times larger than the average error of 4.69m at the driving speed of 40km/h. The event point proper integration/separation range(m) was analyzed to be 20m with a recognition rate of 90% or more at the same point regardless of driving speed. The results of this research can be used as basic data for improving the accuracy of location-based data would be collected using commercial vehicles.

The Synchronous Control System Design of a Dual Electric Propulsion System for Small Boats (소형 선박용 듀얼 전기추진시스템의 동기제어시스템 설계)

  • Recently, electric propulsion systems are used for unmanned surface vehicle, fish finder boat, etc. Some of these propulsion systems can be constructed of two electric motors and propellers for advanced impellent force. In this case, the speed difference generated between two propellers, namely, the synchronous error has a bad influence on the energy efficiency and course error. In this study, a synchronous control system is designed to restrain synchronous error caused by disturbance and mismatched dynamic characteristics. The control system is composed of the reference model, pre-filters, speed controllers, and synchronous controllers. The reference model is used for calculating the decoupled synchronous error and control input for each propulsion system. The pre-filters and speed controllers are designed in order that the propulsion system may follow the reference signal without overshoot and input saturation. And the synchronous controllers are designed from the viewpoint of stable and quick synchronization through root locus mothed approach. Finally, the simulation results show that the designed control system is effective for the disturbance.

Floodwave Propagation in Sinuous Channel with Compound Cross Sections (사행도를 가진 복합단면 하도에서의 홍수파특성)

  • The sinuosity model has been developed to simulate to developed to simulate the floodwave in meandering channels by solving the extended Saint-Venant equation with the Preissmann scheme. The suggested model is compared with three conventional floodplain routing methods in terms of governing equations, mass conservation error and floodwave analysis. The sinuosity model produces the mass conservation error of 1.5-1.8%, however the separate channel model produces 9.1% and 27.4% for sinuosity of 1.5 and 2.0, respectively. The model has been used to simulate flow in an idealized meandering river with a floodplain. The attenuation ratio and the travel time ratio are found to increase as the floodplain roughness and width increase and as the sinuosity factor decreases. The model is expected to contribute the floodwave analysis in sinuous channel with compound corss sections.

  • Support Vector Machines (SVMs) provide a powerful performance of the learning system. Generally, SVMs tend to make overfitting. For the purpose of overcoming this difficulty, the definition of soft margin has been introduced. In this case, it causes another difficulty to decide the weight for slack variables reflecting soft margin classifiers. Especially, the error of soft margin algorithm can be bounded by a target margin and some norms of the slack vector. In this paper, we formulate a new soft margin algorithm considering the bound of corruption by noise in data directly. Additionally, through a numerical example, we compare the proposed method with a conventional soft margin algorithm.

  • To develop transgenic orchardgrass resistant to reactive oxygen species produced from environmental stresses, a vector with the cytosolic glutathione reductase cDNA (BcGRl) from Chinese cabbage was constructed under the control of the cauliflower mosaic virus 35S promoter and was introduced into orchardgrass using Agrobacterium tumefaciens EHA101. Transgenic plants from hygromycin-selected calli of orchardgrass did not show any morphological difference from wild-type plants. The results of PCR amplification and genomic Southern blot analysis confirmed the integration of foreign gene into the chromosome of transgenic orchardgrass. Northern blot analysis with total RNA from leaves also confirmed the constitutive expression of BcGR1 in transgenic orchardgrass.

  • Robustness is essential for model based FDI (Fault Detection and Isolation) and it is inevitable to have modeling errors and sensor signal noises during the process of FDI. This study suggests an improved method by applying NARX (Nonlinear Auto Regressive eXogenous) model and Kalman estimator in order to cope with problems caused by linear model errors and sensor signal noises in the process of fault diagnoses. Fault decision is made by the probability of the trend of gradually accumulated errors applying Fuzzy logic, which are robust to instantaneous sensor signal noises. Reliability of fault diagnosis is verified under various fault simulations.

  • The present paper describes the problem of hydrologic response estimation using non-parametric ridge regression method. The method adapted in this work is based on the minimization of the $C_L$ statistics, which is an estimate of the mean square prediction error. For this method, effects of using both the identity matrix and the Laplacian matrix were considered. In addition, we evaluated methods for estimating the error variance of the impulse response. As a result of analyzing synthetic and real data, a good estimation was made when the Laplacian matrix for the weighting matrix and the bias corrected estimate for the error variance were used. The method and procedure presented in present paper will play a robust and effective role on separating hydrologic response.

  • 유비쿼터스 교통 환경에서 GNSS 전파 수신 신호 상태와 상관없이 차량의 위치 정보 및 차량의 돌발 상황에 대한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 관성 항법 장치의 개발에 대해 소개한다. 제안된 시스템은 위치 파악에 많은 오차를 유발시키는 고도 부분을 분리하였고, GNSS 신호 유무에 상관없이 동작할 수 있는 시스템을 제안하였다. IMU에서는 100Hz의 속도로 위치를 파악하며, 움직이는 차량의 위치를 120초 이내에서는 GNSS 전파 수신하는 환경과 유사한 위치 오차 내에서 동작이 가능함을 실험을 통해 보였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 잡음이 첨가된 선형적으로 혼합된 신호들을 대상으로 뉴우턴법과 할선법의 고정점 알고리즘 각각을 적용할 때 그 분리성능을 비교 검토하였다. 여기서 뉴우턴법은 기울기 변화에 따른 속성을 이용하며, 할선법은 접선의 변화를 이용하는 속성을 가진다. 실험에 이용된 신호는 512$\times$512 픽셀의 2개 2차원 영상이며, 가우스 분포와 라플라시안 분포의 잡음을 이용하였다. 실험 결과, 할선법의 알고리즘이 뉴우턴법보다 잡음에 강인한 특성을 가짐을 알 수 있었다. 한편, 잡음이 첨가되지 않은 경우보다 가우시안 잡음 및 라프라시안 잡음을 첨가한 경우, 절대합 오차값에서 각각 약 23% 및 약 9.7%정도 원영상과의 오차를 보였다.

  • I. 서론 : 생활수준의 향상과 더불어 삶의 질을 향상시키고 사람을 포함한 생태계에 미치는 오염물질을 관리하기 위하여는 정확한 오염현황 자료가 필요하다. 환경에 영향을 미치는 오염물질 농도는 매우 낮기 때문에 이들 물질을 측정분리하기 위하여는 측정분석 요원의 측정기술 능력, 측정장비, 측정분석에 소요되는 시약 및 초자, 기타 실험실 분위기와 측정요원의 근무여건 등이 최적의 상태로 상호 조화를 이루어야 정확한 측정자료를 얻을 수 있다. 정확한 측정자료를 얻기 위하여는 모든 측정과정이 포함된 측정분석 정도관리가 필요하며 측정결과에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 시료채취, 운송 및 보관, 측정분석 그리고 측정결과의 정리단계에서 오차요인을 제거하는 노력이 필요하다. 본 고에서는 측정분석 과정 중 오차요인을 많이 포함하고 있는 환경시료 채취방법, 환경시료 전처리방법 그리고 측정분석 정도관리 방법에 대한 고찰을 통하여 수질측정분석 정도를 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 강구하고자 한다.
